Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Restaurant. Es gibt viele verschiedene Bereiche in denen man sitzen kann. Ob man oben auf der Empore sitzt, draußen auf der Terrasse oder ein wenig versteckt kann jeder selbst erkunden. Die Auswahl an Getränken ist groß und die Menuekarte bietet auch für jeden etwas. Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Schöne Entdeckung.

The Grand Bar was an amazing experience to eat on the patio while visiting Berlin. We had great service and the weather was perfect. Food was amazing. We ordered the fettuccine with veal strips and porcini mushrooms definitely a five star, and the Jager schnitzel that was about a three star but not totally disappointed.. if you get the chance, stop take a rest and enjoy a meal!

Our go to spot for breakfast. We have now been about 6 times haha Really really good breakfast spot. Nice views and amazing service. It’s not so easy to find breakfast options in Berlin but trust me when I say grand bar is one of the best - give it a try 🤙🏾Jin is the best server there, so much personality, really adds some flavour to your experience 😄

Eigentlich ein schönes historisches Kaffeehaus, aber man sollte etwas an sich arbeiten. Die Servicekräfte sprechen teils kein deutsch und sind ziemlich langsam, nur eine Dame hatte den Überblick. Das Essen ist ok aber Schnitzel, Bratkartoffeln und Burger waren äußerst ölig. Und die Gläser und Tassen nicht wirklich sauber. (Der Gelbstich auf den Fotos kommt von den Sonnenschirmen) Großer Außenbereich, auch drinnen viele Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Today was great day . and who make this great day Is grand bar . i love my visit here first time but Memory they make for everytime . respect Is on high level . food , drinks and Service all was perfect . 10 star I will give to my waiter and All . we have pinot grigio bottle two time . every time was well Decorated in Light coller with full of ice . thank you team Grand bar for making my Day more greater then ever . i love to visit again next years . thank you . highly recommended

the place was wonderful!! interior was as great as menu. we preffered to drink glühwein. service was perfect and they gave us free berliner luft to taste. and also shot glass for souvenirs

I put one star for chef but service is horrible We were waiting for a waiter for a long time even though the restaurant was not empty at all. The bar tender were looking at us unprofessional and flirted with us. I’m the very beginning when we get inside and for his question “how can I help you” we said that we just want to drink and eat he said that he want to drink too and asked if we can pay for him🫤 if you are are a group of girls I recommend you not to go here as soon as you will get needless attention from men employees here

Had the salmon and avocado dish which was very tasty. Nice atmosphere in the place as well with the big wooden bar and red benches. Would visit again.

Food was fine and the drinks aswell but the staff was slow and extremely rude. Our waiter didn't even seen to know his own menu. Didn't know what an Italian coffee was or an Amaretto Sour...both items on the menu... Also mentioned 4 times I wanted an Italian coffee but without the whipped cream. And yet there we had it. This all would have been fine if the waiter didn't threw a tantrum when we didn't want to tip. Worst experience I've had in Berlin. For the owner: we got served by , I presume, an Italian with a bun in his hair.

Lange Wartezeiten und kaltes Essen. Salat ohne Dressing, erst auf Nachfrage gab es Essig und Öl. Schade eigentlich, denn der Laden hat wirklich Potential. Zahlung nur mit Bargeld? Aus den Rezensionen geht hervor, dass eigentlich auch Karten akzeptiert werden. ..... Uns wurde dann ein Getränk angeboten, was wir aber abgelehnt haben. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen.

Personal freundlich und bemüht, aber teilweise etwas überfordert. Das Essen war lecker. Die Süßkartoffelpommes hätten aber etwas wärmer sein dürfen. Preis-Leistung passt dennoch. Getränke sind von guter Qualität.

Internationales Essen für eine sicherlich touristische Zielgruppe. Das Essen war in Ordnung, der Preis war angemessen. Das Ambiente hat die Möglichkeit gut zu sein. Leider ganz schlimmer Rummeltechno im Restaurantbereich zum Essen um 17 Uhr. Dem Wunsch, vielleicht im Restaurantbereich auf die störendere Musik zu verzichten oder sie leiser zu stellen, wurde nicht nachgekommen. Aber am kuriosesten, „heute keine Kartenzahlung“, Rechnung wurde auf dem Kellner-Tablet gezeigt (115€) und nach Zahlung und dem Wunsch nach einem Bon war der Betrag plötzlich bei 108€mit dem gleichen Positionen. Mir etwas zu dubios. Passt am Ende aber auch zu dem Personal und dem Ambiente. Keine Empfehlung!

Great restaurant which provides wide range of delicious meals. A bit expensive but good quality food.

My friends and I had dinner here. None of us enjoyed our food. The vegetarian pizza was flavorless, and our pastas were on the sour side and quite oily. It gave me and my friend stimach problems later on in the night. It was most definitely not worth the price. We also had to pay in cash for a reason I don't remember. They didnt tell us this before we sat down, causing my friend to have to get up and walk to the atm whilst we were having our drinks. Overall it was just a bad experience. The two stars are for the staff, who were nice.

Eindrucksvolle Bar, in verschiedene Bereiche unterteiltes Lokal. Daher gleich entscheiden, ob zum fröhlich wirkenden, gut ausgeleuchtet Abteil rechts oder dem gedimmten Separee links. Am Eingang wird man freundlich empfangen und einem Tisch zugewiesen. Je nach Andrang besteht freie Platzwahl. Der Service ist sehr bemüht und fragt regelmäßig nach Wünschen, wirkt bei hohem Aufkommen jedoch auch schnell wuselig und unkoordiniert. Da kann sie verlangte Rechnung schon mal etwas auf sich warten lassen.

Eated a farmers breakfast(picture), a schnitzel and a burger here. Staff is kinds friendly but pushing for tips and giving you vibes that what you give isnt enough (i usually tip like 2€ unless its actually good). All was very poor cooked except the burger was amazing, that was the first time. Suggest the current cook focusses on burgers and hire a new one that can cook other things as well. Go here and eat a burger all be good

Dont waste your time here. When we enter no one even noticed. We wait for 5 minutes until the waiter came and seated us. After seating he told us it's only cash only. The drinks and food was normal. Salami pizza was just like grocery quality and the cocktail was ok. Overally I think there are dozen of better choices in the neighbourbood.

I've just been in berlin for 3 days and came here twice, even tho it was a 30 min walk from my hotel. First time we shared bruschetta and had drinks, second time ice creams and drinks. Just a nice vibe (even tho on busy corner) and good service. Cash only but they warn you of this straight away.

amazing service for a first night in Berlin! so close to our hotel and the drinks are far cheaper than many of the bars around. i had a lovely waiter Happy who took care of us and was a great laugh. defiantly recommend for a great night out with the girls😊

Our waitress, Jenny, was so great! The food was delicious. I had the baked goats cheese and I highly recommend for sharing or a snack on your own.

Quality of food and wine is very poor. It took ages before our food arrived.

A little disappointed with this place. Service was average not very friendly or prompt. I ordered the vegetable tagliatelle which I think was undercooked as it was quite tough to chew and the sauce was quite watery as well but I was so hungry I ate it anyway. The menu also didn’t have a diverse range of vegetarian options.

Had a nice German conversation with the owner about Turkey and Germany. Very friendly man. The bartender and server were patient and friendly as well. Fantastic cocktails too. Would recommend. Great place and people.

Very hot day eating brunch outside: almost every table covered in shade from huge umbrellas. We had the brunch for 2, which had a lot of food, all quite good but couldn't finish because of the heat. They made a bloody mary for me after I asked, which is nice (maybe ask if they have some Tabasco next time). We waited almost 45 minutes for food, but service was friendly and calm.

Great food at very good prices. Mostly international food, and 3 or 4 typical berlin dishes. Nothing too fancy, but the food quality is great. The drinks menu is quite large, as expected.

Great location to sit and watch the world pass by. Big menu with something for everyone. I was delighted to be served ice with our beverages. Big portions and surprisingly delicious food. We all enjoyed the experience sitting outside, enjoying Berlin the way locals do it.

Great location and service, limited variety of drinks and the food is the usual tourist style mass food you find elsewhere. There is no flexibility on swapping an ingredient in the menu if you have food or diet requirements. It is ok, you just know you don't go there for fresh food and quality.

Definitely recommend!!! Had a great lunch there. Really enjoyed the prawns and the home-made lemonade. Quick & friendly service and the spot is also pretty nice. Will definitely come back to try the pizza!

I was a little underwhelmed to be honest. We sat outside and the rather noisy traffic as well as the pedestrians brushing by were quite an annoyance at times. The food was sub par and seemed like being geared toward the tourist and weekend crowd. I am sure this is a fine place and I may have just picked a bad day and the wrong meal.

Did take a little while to get served but it was worth the wait as the food was very good and the drinks are reasonably priced.

Very tasty cocktails, the food was surprisingly tasty for having so much variance (it did not seem like "quickly made food"), the atmosphere was nice and the bartender and waiter were super charming. Toilets also cleaner than most I've seen. Price for some food are a bit on the higher side but in total the spent amount was totally reasonable. Definitely would like to come back in a future berlin visit. Just wish paying with card would get fixed soon, aside from that everything was lovely!

Not my thing. Came with tour and they served this meatball/rice combination. Had a few bites of the meatball and the majority of the rice, the rice seemed like it was from a microwave meal, and the meatball was not enjoyable. I do understand it can be tricky to cater to a larger group, but it was truly not good. Drinks were pretty good though.

An outstanding omelette breakfast should not be passed up at this charming patio cafe! The waitress was extremely welcoming and kind enough to gift me a strawberry cheesecake!! Highly recommended!

Well lost a few customers here forever. Customer service is horrible, no respect. And in reply to the wonderful and customer oriented owner below: customer service includes being respectful to your guests. You might not understand, but one day disrespecting your potential customer means no customer the next day. No place in Berlin turns away a woman asking for a bathroom. It’s completely inhumane, and when I left you and told about your reaction to the group of friends waiting outside, we all said that we would never come to this place. We will never spend our hard earned euros here. But no worries, we spent it at another place that evening:) And then you still will not know what customer service is and call your potential customers names. Hygiene and covid made sense when we had to leave our contacts as guests, so please do not try to come up with things.

My colleagues and I were there for a dinner, we ordered various dishes and none of us was happy with the food. My steak was way to dry and gummy. It curtainly doesn't worth the price range. I eventually could go there for coctails.

We ate breakfast here three times during our week in Berlin. The scrambled eggs are done perfectly. The service was efficient and friendly. 2/3 times they only accepted cash but the prices are reasonable.

Wonderful restaurant for breakfast, brunch and also lunch, just beside the synagoge. Very wide terrace and also lots of space inside. The food is nice and there are many options of international food, German food as well. I like the way the always serve us, very professional. It is one of my favourite spots in Mitte

Such a good place for Sunday evening talks with friends. Delicious international food good variety of alcoholic drinks. Also, I would like to highlight Mr. Bahman, who served our table and provided an excellent impression from a visit to the Grand Bar!

Hosted by Happy and he certainly did what was on the tin. On a freezing trip to Berlin in early January, highs of -1. We were cold but our hearts were warmed, warmed the charisma of Happy and his delicious food at the Grand Bar. Menu is great for people with allergies and has great options. Fab value for money, can confirm this is the grandest of all bars in Berlin :)

It’s a very good restaurant with an uplifting dining experience which comprises not only of good food and Cocktails but top-notch customer service as well. It is the extension of excellent service and taking it to the next level. A great restaurant experience results in a hundred percent customer satisfaction. the gluten free options are just two and not really good. i think that the food in general is not the best,especially the quality of the meet. It's not fair to pay 20 euros just for a decent but not good meal. They forced us to put 5 stars on the website in change of a very bad drink of milk and strawberry

Excellent place to have your dinner in The food is good and the location too, but the hospitality is what really sells it. On top of the waiters being really helpful and efficient, they really made sure we would have a nice time in here: we came here as an italian travel group, quite a big one, and they arranged a room for us and even played italian music. That wasn't necessary at all, but really appreciated. That's a must-visit
