I was lucky enough to visit the Carillon when the musician was playing on Ascension Day. For a paltry 8£, you get to climb the tower and be given a history and explanation of the bells, how they are forged and tuned. Then you ascend a bit more and are shown the keyboard which is very cool and unusual with an explanation of how they work. Finally we received the pleasure of two songs which was really impressive to see how the bells are played. If you are around when he is offering tours, this was the best attraction I've been to in Berlin.

I have passed several times near this place and now I am reading that every Sunday at 15 and on holidays there is concert that I missed. But I will surely come back to Berlin and to Tiergarten and will have chance to hear it one of these days.

The sound of this chime is simply wonderful - one of the largest in the world. Today we managed to be there for the automatic game at 6 p.m. Playing time: approx. 20 minutes If you then know that the sound of these bells is said to have a positive and healing effect... you should actually go to these concerts much more often.

The tower was a gift from Daimler for the city's 750th anniversary. There's not much to see there, but the carillon is pretty! The black tower in the background shows the carillon.

Beautiful Carillon, great concerts on some Sundays at 4pm. Just seat in the park and enjoy. Do not miss it! Especially the guided tour afterwards (german and english). Unique and with the best views of Berlin. Jeffrey is a fantastic carilloneur and host! Berlin is lucky to have him!!

Tall, very beautiful and stylish tower with many bells of different sizes. I really like organ music when I haму the opportunity to listen to such a concert, and this tower reminds me very much of this type of musical instrument, which can only be heard much further and has its own style of performance. A small squeeze from Wikipedia: The Carillon in Berlin Tiergarten park is a tall tower next to the House of World Cultures. It is a large, manually played concert instrument. Someone is siting in a cabin in the middle of the bells and plays with his fists and feet on a baton-and-pedal keyboard. The purely mechanical action makes it possible to play all dynamic gradations, from very soft to very loud sounds. It is one of the largest instruments of its kind in Europe and approximately the fourth largest (by number of bells) in the world. Music programs include classical works and popular songs.

A really interesting and funky looking structure which is a bit out of the way but a fun site to stop at if you have time.

Visually and recommended as part of a walk, especially in the evening. As always with Corona, it is currently depressing because instead of theatre, events and life there, like everywhere else, is dead pants.

(Translated by Google) Unsolicited concerts with very disharmoniously tuned instruments right in the window for thousands of residents. (You can hear very far) It feels like every second fifth is about a semitone step too high and that's not called the diabolical interval for nothing. Bit annoying - just for tourists or those who like it!

Come here on a Sunday in summer on 15:00, after checking the programme online, preferably one that includes the preludes by Matthias van den Gheyn. Enjoy an hour of free music in the vast open air venue (100-200m away from the carillon). Follow Jeffrey Bossin up the tower to see the carillon that he designed and has been playing since 1987. Be amazed.

Today at lunch, this ensemble of bells, the so-called bell tower called CARILLON, caught my attention while walking. It seemed strange to me that it was 2 minutes before 12 o'clock sharp. 🤔 where is the German punctuality!?

My son discovered the tower on the glass dome during a visit to the Bundestag and wanted to see it up close. We then visited him during a Berlin weekend. But unfortunately we weren't there during opening hours. Still, it was interesting. Nice environment.

(Translated by Google) It's in the zoo and behind this bell tower If the pregnant oyster is and there behind the Landwehr Canal where the excursion boats anchor (digressy damn) in front of the tower are meadows and right behind the tower comes the tipi. So that's it. (Translated by Google) It is located on the north side of Tiergarten on Scheidemannstraße. As you walk in the park, you will suddenly hear the carillon. I didn't know where the gentle angelic voice came from, but I couldn't imagine it from this big tower. However, once you hear this sound, it is a memorable sound.

(Translated by Google) It was formerly called the Bell Tower of Freedom. The bell tower is a good match with the Congress Halle. The Congress Halle called the Congress Halle in the 90's when there were occasional events of the citizens. Listen to the bells coming from the wide open Tiergarten Park.
