Omg! I’ve always wanted to visit an Illuseum and my wish came true at The Illuseum Berlin. Starting from the entrance, the receptionist was so welcoming and very professionally. Before going, you can book online in the website to make things easy. Go with your mask and your valid green pass certificate, very compulsory. Of course I took pictures and videos.

A trip to this museum was like a trip to the land of shabbiness. run-down exhibits, no consistently enforced hygiene measures when using hands and a dirty floor. every optical illusion from the YPS magazine used to be more exciting. 12 euros is a bad joke. definitely a tourist trap. Don't go.

Fun museum for people of all ages. Illusions are well explained. Easily 1h inside (without taking other visitors into account) if you take time to see and try everything. However a lot of people for a small area. I have no insight of the price (school trip), but it’s imperative to make a reservation.

The Illuseum museum consists of 50 illusions which are either visual or interactive. A fun place to visit if you are in the vicinity and have time to spare, it would take up to an hour or two at this location. Visitors are encouraged to take pictures and have fun, while staff are around to assist in any questions about the illusions or need someone to help with taking pictures. However, it would be best to purchase tickets in advance online, or in person with a set time and day in mind. The museum is not very big and at times they do have to turn away walk-ins due to large groups from schools or events which have booked a time slot or are overcrowded by walk-ins who are already in the museum. If you're lucky, you can try again in a couple of hours or may even need to walk-in again on another day. Hence, it is best to make reservations in advance in order to avoid any delays or mess in your schedule, especially if you are only visiting Berlin.

What a nice museum, a lot of fun for every curious ! I recommande. If a Can give an advice : Take your ticket before, it's more comfortable. Some people critize the museum because of the short time to achieve the visite. Howerver, in my opinion you should take your time for really appreciate it. We make one hour to finish it, and it was absolutly great and fun !

It’s a good experience and good value for money. It is something different and very fun. The illusions are cool. There are plenty of photo opportunities. It is great for making memories with friends, having a good laugh and challenging your brain. I recommend for tourists it is cheap and fun with friends.

We went to an optical illusion museum in Edinburgh about 6 years ago. Over at least 5 floors, it was fantastic and we spent hours there. We still talk about it. So, seeing one in Berlin - we had to visit. What a rip off. €32 entry for 2 adults & 1 student into what was not much more than one large room. We were through in about 30 minutes & we didn't rush. Couldn't believe we'd reached the end! The illusions are great, but 80% of them you'll have seen online and in books already.

One of the best places to explore for around 30-60 minutes and also one of the most budget friendly places. The entry is only around 10 euros and you can take plenty of cool pictures plus learn and experiment with all sorts of optical illusions

It's too expensive for what they offer, in comparison to other museums in Berlin. It's a small museum, it gets easily crowded. Diverse games and optical illusions, so go there accompanied to fully enjoy the experience.

We went there without reservation at first we we're informed we could not go in without. We went outside to see what to do next and a man from the museum talked to us that they had capacity for more people even without reservation. The staff was friendly. The museum was small but interesting.

it was both interesting and entertaining and there was something cool to see everywhere you looked. every single family member (age 11-47) loved the experience and i think anyone would find something they liked here wether something to photograph/film or a puzzle. an hour could not have gone by quicker than it did here and it was absolutely worth the visit!

It's OK, but we honesty had higher expectations. We thought that it would be a 1 hour visit, but we went through the whole museum in less than 30 minutes. Overall, it should be a better value for the pretty big money we spent. I think it's more of a place for kids or younger people ;)

Fun for both adults and kids. Employees are very helpful taking pictures if you ask and very friendly. You can also print your own pictures for free! Could have been a bit better ventilated, as with a lot of people the air got bad at certain places

I loved the museum, had really great illusions and you can download a special camera app that allows you to do certain activities, the staff were friendly and helpful especially Mia, she really showed me in great detail how to do the illusions! Buy your tickets in advance because it is a very popular museum that brings much interest and tickets sell out!

This place was amazing! We were intrigued to see what it would be like after hearing about it on social media, and we were definitely not let down. It was such a laugh, great photo opportunities and interactive exhibitions that I personally loved. 1 star deducted because for the size of the museum and the experience, it was very expensive

  • 3/5 Clare N. 5 months ago on Google • 10 reviews
Some really interesting illusions although some of the illusions were generic and it was overpriced for what it was. We also felt we were shuttled out really suddenly at the end with little forewarning. The whole thing seems very geared towards getting the Instagram-perfect illusion photo, and they're very keen for you to upload your snaps and tell everyone what a wonderful time you had. I don't regret going, but if you're not sure, go to the spy museum instead - we were there and engrossed for over 3 hours for the same price.

Take your time when you are inside. (approx. 1 hour) You can learn how to trick your brain or exercise it with some puzzles. Interesting time for most of us. Have fun just as i 😁did. 😉👍

My kids love the illusions in the illusion museum and it has dozens of illusions. Although it is a nice museum, it was small and has roughly 4-5 rooms. This reminds me of Singapore science center which we miss dearly.

I am happy I was able to finally go to this place. It was smaller than I was expecting and a bit more crowded but I was still able to get my photos and experience the museum fully. I love mind puzzles so it was nice to see them for sale and try some out inside the museum

Nice, small and kid friendly illuseum. Son and I went right after it was opened. We took an hour to explore as no one was waiting. Don't forget to reserve ticket online. Hopefully they continue to expand it. It was fun! Took lots of pictures!

Nice experience, but mostly for kids. A few tens of installations, many of them known in other similar museums we have been. If you're adults only - I'd probably skip, as Berlin has more unique things to offer. If you are with kids - they'll definitely have fun!

It's a small museum, and we were in there with a big crowd of children and families ---usually this gets distracting for me, but the displayed illusions were INTERACTIVE, therefore very engaging. You'll find yourself whipping out your phone for quirky shots in their numerous spaces that explain how the mind works, explaining the optical illusions and their history. We were there during a busy Friday (holiday in Berlin for children? 3 November), so the toilets were not at their best, but this is easily forgotten because of the curiosities all around.

Fun interactive small museum, with many optical ilusions and informations about them. Good to take some funny photos. It can get a bit crowded but enough to enjoy it. Staff is very friendly.

  • 2/5 Roland F. 2 years ago on Google
It was way to crowded, it propably was in fit with the regulations, but its a way too small place for me. Def not recommend, just watch the pictures from the place u will get the almost the same xp without waiting in the line, then getting hurried by others.

  • 5/5 Niranjan Nair R. 2 years ago on Google
This place is brilliant. For the money you pay, the experience is amazing. We did a lot of cool things, took many funny photos. It got a bit too crowded for my liking at some point, but we managed to have a look at all exhibits in an hour. Definitely worth it.

Fun place for kids, a must visit. Bought the wooden puzzles at the end of the tour. Kids would love to solve the puzzles. Buy the ticket in advance, will save time and a guaranteed entry to the museum. The vertigo room was very nice.

The kingdom of visual experience 🙈 such a small space for a museum, still a lot of interesting test and tricks around. It's great all the exhibition items come with explanations, and the staff it's always around helping and explaining.

To be honest, I was very disappointed. The place is very small, you can probably walk through the whole place in 10 minutes. Few things to see and not that much to do I find 12 euros way too expensive for that experience :/ 2-3 things were really cool but other than that, it was boring

  • 3/5 Tajammal I. 1 year ago on Google
Its a private museum. Its interesting. But not a value for money. Only few articles ,which u can see in their photos. Its not worth 15 euro per person. Students 10 euro.
