I am writing this review after staying in this hotel for a month. The location of the hotel is in a part of the city of Berlin that has good access to shopping centers and places of interest in the city of Berlin. There is a subway and bus station near the hotel, five minutes away. The hotel building has 5 floors, and I lived on the fifth floor. The hotel has a swimming pool and a gym, which is very convenient. The room sizes are excellent, and the room facilities include a TV, dining table, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and there is a refrigerator. The cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel is at a good and acceptable level. The treatment of the hotel staff is excellent, the tranquility of the hotel is very good and the noise does not bother you. The only thing that I was not satisfied with was that every time the room was cleaned, consumables such as milk, coffee, washing machine tablets and dishwasher tablets were not charged, and I had to get them from the hotel reception. The hotel breakfast was good and acceptable. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

I usually stay at adina when I'm in Berlin. Rooms are always clean, the studio apartments at the mitte locations even have washing machine and drier. There are swimming pools/sauna and gym There too. Love it.

I really enjoyed my stay at Adina Checkpoint Charlie, the receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and the room service was particularly good, lastly, the location is perfect you have what you need in 5 mins walk supermarket bunch of restaurants the metro-station a garden for kids and next to it a football/basketball and table tennis if you into it; of course, I would recommend this hotel to others.

Our stay was wonderful. Near both tourist areas, U-Bahn , bus, grocery, and pharmacy. A normal room slept three people very comfortably and staff was very helpful. Washer and dryer inclusive in room was very nice to have. The gym, sauna, pool area is top notch.

I had an absolutely lovely stay at Adina for two nights and will definitely come again. The stay was totally enjoyable: a warm and freindly welcome, a super spacious room with all you can wish in it, a gym, a swimming pool with a sauna and a delicious breakfast. I was most impressed by the fact that all the tiny details were so well thought over! There has been a TV set not only in the living room, but also hanging on the bedroom wall - for people like me, who love watching something while in bed. The bed itself was super comfy, with multiple pillows, which one can combine as needed, and with a thick perfect duvet. Everything was sparkling clean as well. It is amazing how Adina managed to create a home-like feeling in the apartments - so that you arrive, sit down, relax and just feel good. Thank you - and looking forward to visiting you again!

Amazing staff, sauna, fitness and swimming pool area really complete. People are friendly and location is perfect to move around in Berlin. Everything I needed was there.

A bit worn out, but still habitable rooms. Sauna, small swimming pool and a nice gym are a big plus. Walkable distance from the next subway station.

Loved this hotel, everything was clean and room was spacious. Good amenities, location and friendly staff. I would come back here again, or any other Adina hotel.

Overall a decent hotel. Location was good in quiet and safe area. Playgrounds across the street for the kids. Close to bus stops and U-bahn but also in walking distance to both Alexander Platz and Brandenburger Tor etc. Great facilities although materials seemed cheap and could use and update.

We have had the best stay at this hotel! So nice to have the best of both worlds with the convenience of a small apartment together with the service of a hotel. Room was super spacious, quiet, and clean, and the pool and suana were a lovely bonus. Best of all were the staff who were really friendly, kind, laid back, and attentive. Really made our week here feel warm and welcoming.

Very solid apartment/hotel with great service! It is central to everything, which means you have a little walk to get to anything. The front desk took very good care of us. Lap pool and sauna in the basement. Our room had a kitchenette with stove, dishwasher, and plates, utensils, pots and pans. Bathroom also had washer and dryer. The A/C is Berlin-style, which means that it is never truly 'cold,' just cool. We were on the courtyard side which stayed nicely quiet. Advice: please put out the 'do not disturb' and then tell the front desk when your room is ready for a quick or full clean. Otherwise, you'll have a visit from the cleaning staff.

Not really that convenient location but the 200 bus+U Bahn will get u there. Pool is cold & narrow. Sauna cold with stupid 20 min off phase every hour. Nice sauna but no liegeplatz. One shower. Very spacious & well appointed apartment but no windows. Heating/ventilation is uncontrollable. Hot/cold water unpredictable. Bathroom with no window and broken ventilation (not fixed after 5 days)

In general ok hotel, big rooms and comfortable bed. Just the bathroom can be cleaned better and light switches can be renewed.

Beautiful hotel and fantastic apartment. View was lovely with a little balcony outside. Coffee machine downstairs and they do happy hour x2 cocktails. Staff were really friendly and as flight didn't leave till later were able to leave luggage there until we were ready to leave. Have to say, could not fault anything about my stay plus we had amazing weather. There is lots to do at 'Check Point Charlie'. We even managed to find a man-made beach with huts, music and lovely large sofas. There was a great selection of food stalls & cocktails and everyone was really friendly. Very nice hotel, the room is a little worn down and could do with a repair and updates - sofa was stained, refrigerator did not work. But the real problem here is the breakfast, food of low quality and the service of the breakfast staff was more focused on the age of our kids, asking multiple times. while the buffet was empty, coffee machine not working, plates ran out.All in all a great place, but eat breakfast somewhere else it’s not worth the whooping price of 20 euros pr person

Situated near the checkpoint Charlie. Very close to a number of shops ; Lidl, Tedi, Euro shop, Rossman, walking distance to the Mall of Berlin. Relax at the end of the day in the Pool and Sauna.

I stayed two weeks at Adina hotel on business. Given its great location and proximity to daily stores like supermarket and pharmacy, it could have been a great hotel stay, but I wouldn't give five stars. From the check-in, they made a few mistakes. None of the mistakes was grave and they could be solved quite quickly, but what I noticed is that the tone of a few reception staff wasn't really appropriate. It might be due to the language barrier on their part, but I expect hoteliers to be able to distinguish between an imperative and a polite request form. Unfortunately, that wasnt the case and it ruined my mood a few times. The cleaning staff don't speak English nor German which is another minor point but they did a descent good job with keeping my room clean. Their gym is another minus point. It is in the basement, quite tiny and quipped with basic machines only.

Absolutely love this place. I booked it since 2019 for Berlin Marathon 2020. As Covid happened, I could not travel and could not train. The hotel is kind enough to let me keep my room until 2022. The room is spacious, clean, very well equipped with everything you can think of, even the dishwasher. Staff is super friendly. I did not try breakfast or use the pool or sauna as we were out most of the time everyday. If I am ever in Berlin again, will definitely come here again.

The room smelt overwhelmingly of stale cigarettes despite booking a non smoking room. Even the bed sheets smelt. We asked for more pillows as they were completely flat and were told that those were the only ones available and that they knew they were terrible. The shower sprayed water all over the bathroom. We were woken by housekeeping multiple times despite using the Do Not Disturb sign, including on checkout day when housekeeping visited every half hour which made us feel like we were being chased out of our room. Really poor all round.

Excellent place with very helpful and responsive staff. Located in a rather quiet neighborhood, but close enough to the center of the city. Very good WiFi quality.

The apartments are really nice and spacious, and the facilities that come with it are a real added bonus (gym, restaurant...). The staff is friendly and really helpful. However: 1/ the wi-fi is way too unstable! If you work online from the hotel and expect to have online video call or just even phone calls, don't expect much from this WiFi. Probably among the worse I've had in a hotel, even less fancy hotels. 2/ the rooms have too little wall sockets and sometimes they are placed in uneasily accessible places. We both work with our phones and computers and need 2-3 sockets each near us, without counting lamps and other electronics. Luckily they had power strips at the reception. 3/ I don't know what people are doing with the sauna, but it was really dry to the point of burning the skin compared to an authentic Finnish sauna. To investigate.

Spacious rooms, excellent staff, good gym and great pool. We where very satisfied with everything. Lidl store was just around the corner also so it was easy to buy grocery.

While the hotel is a fine choice if you’re just looking for a hotel type stay, it’s not the best if you’re looking for more “apartment” amenities. The staff is friendly and the location is good. However, a few things we felt lacking in terms of the quality of the apartment amenities. 1) There are little to no condiments (no oil, salt, pepper, etc.) and only some small packets of instant coffee and sugar. So if you want to cook, you’ll need to buy you’re own condiments. In general the kitchen is not well stocked at all. 2) The pots and pans were of poor quality with the loose handles. They basically weren’t really usable. Other than maybe some really simple cooking (e.g. reheating something) it isn’t useable if you’re looking to make your own meals. 3) The swimming pool and gym area was really hot and humid (~30 degrees) - too hot for us to use comfortably.

Very comfortable and ample rooms, with fully equipped kitchen and large bathroom. It's like having your own apartment, but with hotel services. I could stay here for weeks.

Great experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was excellent. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The location is very good. I didn't try the breakfast but since the rooms have kitchenettes, I just made my own. Even the cleaning staff are extremely helpful. Thanks!

We had a great stay at the hotel over the weekend. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and the room was new and clean. There was a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, and a lot of space. The location is perfect for sightseeing and everything is easily accessible by train, bike or foot. This hotel is very recommendable and worth coming back to!
