I recently stayed at Hotel Mövenpick Berlin and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the city with easy access to major attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing top-notch service throughout my stay. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel amenities, including the fitness center and spa, were impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Mövenpick Berlin for its impeccable service, convenient location, and luxurious accommodations.

Ein schon etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Hotel. Mit der Sauberkeit hat man es hier auch nicht so genau. Beim aufdrehen der Dusche in der Badewanne roch es nach Fäkalien aus dem Abfluss.

The hotel staff here are amazing! I had checked out of my room and had forgotten my cell phone in the room. The front desk woman gave me a key to go back into the room. The rooms were clean and very nice. The hotel is located near a train station, so it makes getting around the city a breeze. Hands down, I would stay here again without question and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location of the hotel is fine, the rooms are dated and the carpet is stained, and some of the towels we received had holes in them. Moreover, housekeeping doesn’t bring anything to the room and you have to pick it up at the reception. The beds were comfortable.

We stayed end of Sept, nice location close to bus/sbahn. Quiet in the evening, spacious rooms, great breakfast. We had our 16m toddler who well well behaved and we felt like the staff werent welcoming or helpful, as if we were doing something wrong being there with our baby.

Dieses Hotel hat ein schönes Designe. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war nett eingerichtet und sauber. Lage ist gut. Frühstück mehr als ausreichend. Leider mussten wir immer mal wieder warten weil es sehr voll war beim Frühstück und es keine freien Plätze gab.

Our upgraded, pre-paid room was not available when we arrived (oversold), and we were told a refund for the upgrade was "not possible." So, 2 of us needed to squeeze into a 1- person room. We were offered a complementary breakfast, but we already paid for breakfast. So, not really any sort of compensation. Pretty sketchy business practice, in fact, is probably illegal in many other countries. We made the best of it and had a good time in spite of the hotel issue.

Most of Germany customer service stuff need a professional training “how they should deal with guests” add Italy @Sheraton Switzerland @M by All.. back to hotel, make sure you paid for a room with view.. My question to hotel manager: is this thing in the photos I attached is safe?! I got injured by it while I was holding hot cup of coffee. Later in the same day at night my daughter fallen down by it again.. I don’t know the one who decided to put this thing in place was fully in his mind?! Later on you guys did you even think about it?! Simply it can be fixed on the table.. The hotel room we paid for should be the safest place the city it should felt like home!!

Well located, clean, convenient, great spot and amazing quality for the price point.

This is not a good hotel… I was going to wait until after my stay here to write a review in the hope that things would improve, but if anything they are worse. (If they somehow manage to turn this around I will edit my review). Because we knew we would be arriving late evening, and to ensure we received the rooms we requested and paid for we checked in online using the link they sent on the morning of arrival…or at least that’s what I thought. Despite completing the form and getting confirmation, when we arrived at the hotel at 9pm as planned I was told that the online check in was broken that day (just that day?), that they were fully booked and that we could not have the rooms on the same floor unless we took a downgraded one (they insisted the downgrade room was what I booked until I logged in and showed them my booking), BUT if we did take the downgraded room they would not refund the €125 difference I had already paid. This was all after I had explained that my brother needs extra assistance and that was why we needed and asked for rooms on the same floor. I asked to speak to the manager (in an ‘I don’t think we’re getting anywhere’ way, not in a ‘Karen’ way) to see what our options were but was told “he will say the same thing” (be separated or take a lesser value room with no refund, and which also would not have met my brother’s needs). Tired and with my brother becoming agitated we took a room on another floor as it was the only real option given. On entering the room we were greeted with an eggy smell from the bath drain, stained carpets and chairs, a broken fridge and no coffee for the coffee machine. The next day the room was barely cleaned, if at all? Coffee cups were unwashed or replaced and again, no coffee refills. I had to go again to reception and ask. No apologies were given. Used towels were left where we had hung them. Speaking of the towels, they are thin, old and scratchy, as you would expect in a 2* hotel, not 4. As were the toiletries and you aren’t given a vanity kit. (For info, these were the Sleep King rooms - and definitely not worth the “upgrade” cost). The gym is basic but fine, some old cardio machines and free weights. The sauna was “broken”…but I never saw anybody working on it and no indication whether or not it would be back in use for guests soon. Breakfast is the only thing that’s truly 4* in this hotel. Even the beautiful staircase you see in the pictures is in a different part of the building. If you like basic, soul-less chain hotels with no customer service then this place will be fine for your needs. If you want the level of comfort, cleanliness and service you pay for and expect from a 4* hotel or to feel like a valued customer then in a city with so much choice, choose to stay somewhere else.

BEWARE, BAIT & SWTICH! We booked and pre-paid for a sleep king with breakfast through our AAA Membership. Upon our arrival, another guest was complaining about being given a room for a single and were told they had overbooked the premium rooms and there was nothing they could do that night. The same thing happened to us. We asked for a price adjustment and were told "it was not possible." They offered to give us a complimentary breakfast, but we had already paid for that, so there were no accommodations for downgrading our room. They offered to have us change rooms at 3 PM the next day but we had excursions booked and with only 3 nights in Berlin, this was very disappointing. It took several hours and multiple requests for an extra pillow, blanket and towels to be delivered. Some of the towels were tattered and worn, with holes in them. The 2 positive things about this hotel: very good breakfast & excellent location. That said, do yourself a favor, stay somewhere else.

The hotel is very well located and connected to the bus and S bahn services, that makes it easier to access most of the tourists places if you are using the public transport. Our room was large and spacious and the kids enjoyed the area. The bathroom was good sized and though it showed a bathtub in our selection of junior suite online, it was a shower area in the bathroom instead. The breakfast has a selection of vegan options as well. It was clean and well stocked with room amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

I stayed in a hotel a little bit more than a month ago. I enjoyed my stay, the location was good and the personal was kind, I loved their pillows. In the room there was a card that if you would like to purchase you can ask for details at the reception. So I did, the lady didn’t even know what I was talking about, she said send an email to us. So I did, several and i called them multiple times. Fir they couldn’t find my email, then i was promised by a very nice gentleman David that he will call me back with the details in 15 minutes. Never happened… maybe a week later i got an email from another person asking for my room number which was listed with all my info in the previous email. I didn’t even respond anymore. I don’t even wanna use the word unprofessional because that won’t cover it … it’s more like a joke.

The Hotel was well decorated and maintained. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location was ideal, facing a park and easy access by bicycle path. We went everywhere by bicycle because Berlin is flat. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice and quality food. I only want to say a few negative points: The stairway was dirty during our whole 9 day stay. There was a speaker in the ceiling outside our room and it was playing music all day, I had to call reception a couple of times at about 11pm to get them to turn it off. The pillowcases were too big for the pillows. They gave us really small, thin pillows at first and later changed them to more comfortable ones. The duvets were too warm for summer. Also, there is no 10 % discount at the Liquidrom Spa in the park opposite, only other deals which weren´t in the hotel guide. But the hotel gave us bath towels and slippers to use. Lastly, the TV didn´t have the original remote control or something so we couldn´t get the English subtitles for any channels. A few things which they can hopefully improve and I would go back.

It's a big hotel near to Berlin mall. Others shopping centre is very near to this hotel. Sometimes it takes time to travel the long corridor to reach at the room. The breakfast they serve is very tasty, healthy and importantly many options to choose.

No cleaning today; when I contacted reception, they attempted to suggest I had requested Do Not Disturb or Green service, but I clarified that I hadn't. It seems they just didn't perform the cleaning – perhaps due to insufficient staff? It's the third day, and I'll be checking out soon. What a great service for a 4 star hotel!

Schönes altes Gebäude welches mit viel Mühe renoviert ist und somit eine gemütliche Atmosphäre ausstrahlt. Der Empfang war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück ist immer ein geschmackliche Erlebnis. Wir fühlen uns richtig aufgehoben. Die sportliche Note wird durch Sauna und Fitness Raum abgerundet. Wir kommen werde wieder ... und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch in Berlin.

A very stylish hotel with a lovely staff. Naomi in particular at the bar was absolutely excellent. 5-star service could just be thanks to her alone! But the front desk staff was also incredibly helpful!

Amazing hotel, very clean, spacious and comfortable., lovely decorated room with unusual glass brick wall between bathroom and room. Hotel is in the perfect location and within 10-15 mins walk of the centre. The staff in the bar do amazing cocktails def worth trying.

Alles in Ordnung, die Zimmer sind toll. Mit so viel Personal am Morgen könnte in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel allerdings ruhig jemand kommen und nach Kaffee fragen. Aber insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis vollkommen in Ordnung.

Very professional, courteous, and helpful staff at the reception, in the restaurant, at the bar, as well as the room maintenance personnel. Very well-kept historic Siemens building with several artifacts on display. The solid wooden staircase, the lighting, and the inner court breakfast restaurant with a removable glass ceiling -- all marvelous. Well-functioning, quiet air conditioning. Quiet rooms, no street noise. Less perfect: The parking garage is difficult to find and access, narrow entry, and has tight spaces. No charging possibility for EVs. No USB charging ports in rooms.

Nice location, close to a metro station and a quiet area at night. Breakfast was also very good. Rooms were spacious and big but had minimal separation between bedroom and toilet- very unpleasant. Service at the front desk was also not very good.

It was an incredible experience during my journey. The employees were extremely nice and friendly. During Christmas they organised the hotel extremely well and food's was very delicious. I would recommend to others to visit the place and have an excellent time.

Good location and nice hotel. Somewhat small room though. Typical Mövenpick eclectic styling...but loses points for functionality. Need to arrange the room so you can get around it. Small closet that has shelves in it so anything longer than a suit jacket doesn't hang fully. Low bed with two duvets, so two people in the queen bed would have their own cover. Very nice restaurant and bar. Very helpful and pleasant staff as well.

This hotel is located right next door to the subway line, making travel very easy within the city. The rooms are clean, and update. The water pressure is phenomenal. The breakfast is out of this world. My only issue with the hotel is the front desk staff. They aren’t particularly helpful, and one middle aged blonde woman was borderline surly. I know the Germans aren’t known to be the most outgoing people, but if you work the front desk you should at least be pleasant and smile.

War ein Wochenende im Hotel Mövenpick incl Frühstück eingebucht und ich muss sagen, das alles zu meiner totalen Zufriedenheit war.Die Zimmer waren sauber und ruhig gelegen.Ein Mix aus Vergangenheit und Gegenwart,der sehr schön wiedergegeben wird. Die Lage ist super.Nur wenige Gehminuten zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten Berlins.Das Frühstück war sehr sehr beeindruckend und lecker.Für jeden etwas dabei.Einfach super! Ich würde jederzeit hier wieder einkehren.

One of my favourite places to stay in Berlin. Friendly staff, modern ambience, fresh and huge breakfast buffet, great location with only a few stops with the train / tram to Friedrichstraße, Potsdamer Platz or Brandenburger Tor. Check-Point-Charly is 10 minutes away by foot. Rooms are very clean and calm - no noises from the (Berlin or Hotel) outside. But it is also a bit quite area of Berlin.

Only thing that lets the hotel down is the price of the breakfast. Rooms spacious and clean. Hotel close to s- bahn and within walking distance of many of the sights. Especially love the chocolate maid left for us everyday

We paid back in 2020 for 3 nights but were not able to go because of Corona. The hotel still had the money though. We got a voucher but apparently not for 3 nights but for the Euro amount for 3 nights. Now when we wanted to stay in October 2021 we had to pay the difference. It is a nice hotel, walking distance to a lot of museums, shops and restaurants and the subway is also close by. There is a very good breakfast but for me the room is what is the most important thing. I have had better rooms in 3 star hotels. The TV was oddly positioned to the side of the bed, and the room was at the top floor underneath a slanted roof which was something to avoid hitting your head against. So you pay for 4 star but get a 3 star experience. 2 stars for me.

Our tour operator chose this hotel for our trip to the Berlin marathon. We stayed on for a week after the marathon. It was an excellent choice for the marathon being close to the start and finish of the race. We enjoyed our extended stay. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The staff are efficient and friendly. The breakfasts are excellent!

The room was spacious and generally clean and tidy but we had yellow/green water in our room. We complained to the staff who changed rooms 3 times and in every room it was the same. I don't know if it was to do with the boiler but we were worried that it could have been unhealthy (like lead poisoning in the pipes) so in the end we used bottled water to brush our teeth with and didn't get to have the bath we were so looking forward to. All in all we wished we had gone to another hotel.

Our stay at Mövenpick Hotel Berlin City Centre was great! The superior room was beautiful, the beds comfortable and the housekeeping did an excellent job making up the beds and cleaning the room. The only thing I found a bit odd was the room temperature, which could not be set lower than 20 degrees. Luckily the door to the (inner) garden could open. Breakfast had a lot of options and all of them were super tasty (except maybe for the scrambled eggs, a bit too dry for my taste). Lovely cocktails served at the bar. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!

I visited again after coronavirus. Many things have changed like NO MORE breakfast buffet, coffee machine, and free bottle of water. Black mold in the bathroom was disgusting... Like the clean and spacious room with a high ceiling, kind and helpful staffs and the great location! There are mövenpick's chocolate as a welcome gift and coffee capsules 😍 Will definitely stay again on my next trips to Berlin 💕

The hotel is situated in a good location with a great connectivity to public transportation options. The room was cozy, comfortable, clean and well maintained. The service was good too.

I was really unimpressed and would not recommend this hotel. There is always a long wait at Reception, whether checking in or simply asking a question. If you request anything like an additional pillow, be prepared to ask 3 times and wait several hours before it is brought to your room. And the rooms are small, dated and worn with only basic facilities.

Room. The space is perfectly organized. High ceilings - wow! The outlet works for charging devices even without a card, you can charge devices while you are on business somewhere. Breakfast. A very rich selection, all of excellent quality. I would like to mention greens and delicious coffee. Although everything is really delicious there :) The staff. I would like to note the loyalty and willingness to help, excellent service. I highly recommend both for business trips and for rest.

This is a perfect location to stay in Berlin. Nice treatments during the whole stay.You have to be there once at least.

Staff we dealt with were friendly. Location is ideal. But attention to detail is sorely lacking. On every day except one, we had specifically to ask them to clean the room because it was still not done after 1 or 2pm. When room was finally serviced, it was very cursory and not well done at all. Very hard to order room service because of language barrier (which I appreciate, but because this is an international chain, I assumed would be easier). Aircon in room ineffective and items ran out quickly at breakfast, not to be replaced. To be honest, despite the friendly staff I'd probably try something different next time. However, the rooms are perfectly fine and the location fantastic, so it may well suit a lot of people.

Great hotel, great rooms and service. Unfortunately, the weakest element is the restaurant - a menu with little choice and a waitress who stubbornly did not speak English to us ... even though she served other guests in English. Probably next time we will not eat dinner at the hotel restaurant.
