Worst Marriott hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff did not recognize the loyalty membership. No greeting (verbally or by a card/letter) throughout our whole four nights stay as a lifetime platinum member. The room is unclean upon our check-in. For example Hairs on the sofa and bedsheets. Dirty stain on the carpet and fingerprints of the glasses and faucet. Especially, super dirty kettle as attached. Housekeeping team messed up our slippers when it was been placed nicely before we left. No safe distancing practicing in the hotel and some of the staff did not wear the masks properly. On the day we checkout, we asked the front desk if they could give us one more hour late checkout but was been decisively rejected unless we are willing to pay €85. Been an elite member for almost 15 years, definitely won’t recommend this hotel. Good location but a terrible stay experience.

We're lifetime Gold Elite Members and have been Platinum many years as well. Besides the location, we booked this hotel because we knew we would get good service and a quality room, linens, etc. We also booked for the pool and sauna. We were only disappointed in one thing. The quality of the bed. I'd read other reviews prior to booking, that the beds are comfortable. In our king size on the 6th floor, I'd have to say that was NOT the case, NOT comfortable at all. We stayed 3 nights, and I slept terribly. Tossed and turned all night thanks to hips and shoulders that were numb from the HARD bed. What a shame. I wonder if this is New Marriott standard or just EU Marriott? One more thing that I'm not sure if this is no longer the standard, but in years past, we were provided our own internet access, not a wide open, unsecured wifi. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

It is a charming property to stay in for a Christmas getaway. Everything was perfect during our stay, and brought a level of Christmas spirit I haven’t felt in quite many years. There are too many amenities to list, but it makes the stay much more comfortable. I recommend booking a room with executive club access if you’re not Bonvoy Platinum or higher. The lounge is spacious and tidy and has excellent breakfast or happy hour options.

Enjoyed my stay here in Berlin at Marriott Hotel. Location is great as it is near to our Embassy and is easily accessible to public transport. The area is also very quiet and is conducive for a good rest. Was pleasantly pleased and appreciative when they upgraded us to the club room with lounge access due to our platinum status. Service was good and professional. And I love the flowers at the flower beds outside the hotel near to the smoking corner. Will definitely stay here again the next time we visit again!

Great location and super nice staff. However room cleaning and supply are pretty bad. We lived there for 4 nights. The location is wonderful, super close to lots of scenic spots. And the front desk staff are pretty helpful and professional. However the room cleaning/supply services are far below expectations. For the entire 4 nights stay, they only supplied the complementary water at the first day of check in. So as the Tea Bag, that we used some but not get refilled at all. The cup that we used to drink the tea was left there without cleaning up/wash for the entire stay. Such things are quite far away from the usual Marriott experience that we had.

One of the best hotels we stayed in. Top class, great service, incredible location, everything is well maintained. Rooms are clean and the noise isolation is not less than perfect. The gym has all the newest equipment and the pool/sauna is nice for relaxation after a long day. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Staff was super friendly and service oriented.

I sent two simple questions to the GM if this hotel. Hours later his assistant but they answered only one. Send another email. Hours later someone called back. In the mean time I booked the Hotel am Steinplatz. Beautiful hotel and good service. They make your feel valued. The Marriott Berlin and the Ritz Carlton are just plain rude and unprofessional. I traveled the whole world a few times over and never seen such unprofessional and disorganised bunch like the Marriott Berlin.

Had a wonderful time visiting the lobby bar, they have many comfortable seating arrangements, both public and more intimate, regardless of where you sit you guaranteed excellent service. The wine list is spectacular, a great selection of small plates as well as wonderful cheeseburgers. The lobby also has a cigar lounge in it, a wonderful way to end the day, walk in ask for your cigar, drink and RELAX.

My stay at the Marriott hotel in Berlin was an exceptional experience, defined by the immaculate cleanliness of the premises, the professionalism of the staff, and the tranquil ambiance of the rooms. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by an atmosphere of sophistication, matched with the staff's attentive and professional demeanor. They were quick to assist with any inquiries, making my stay seamless and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the serene environment within the rooms. Despite being in the heart of a bustling city, the soundproofing was excellent, providing a peaceful retreat to rest and rejuvenate. The rooms themselves were a blend of comfort and elegance, with meticulous attention to cleanliness and detail that didn't go unnoticed. Moreover, the hotel's prime location cannot be overstated. Nestled in the vicinity of Berlin's major attractions, it offered unparalleled convenience for exploring the rich culture and history of the city. Whether it was a leisurely walk to a nearby museum or a quick commute to a famed landmark, the Marriott's location reduced transit times significantly, enhancing the overall experience of my trip. In summary, the Marriott hotel in Berlin exceeded expectations by brilliantly combining a central location with top-notch amenities and outstanding service, ensuring a memorably pleasant stay."

Remember to use HotelTully.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. They compare countless hotel sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you choose this place you won't regret it. Location, location and a beautiful property. Close to many historical spots. Rooms were very roomy and lobby bar area was quite nice. We'll definitely be back. Excellent buffet breakfast as well. Very pleased with our stay.

Lovely pleasant stay. We stayed here twice this year and both stays were great. Reception very friendly, that is what I expect from a high rank hotel. The lounge was a bit busy in October but there were many selection of drinks and we were satisfied.

Great location, friendly staff, good size room made the stay perfect. The lounge and the lobby area is quite elegant. The pool and Sauna after long walks made the evening relaxing. An elaborate breakfast made us ready for the whole day. I would recommend this hotel anyday- a perfect getaway. Make sure to try the cheese cake at the hotel.

This is the best place to stay in Berlin. Very well situated in the heart of the city center, easy to reach. The personal is looking after the guests with professionalism and very good service. The food served is of very good quality. We, for sure, will come back again.

I absolutely love staying here. The staff is always helpful and polite. The location is great for catching the sbahn and u bahn is right around the corner as well. Not to mention lots of great landmarks so close or in walking distance. Great food options in the hotel and around. There is an indoor pool too.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Berlin Marriott Hotel, and I must say it was a complete disappointment from start to finish. Here are the reasons why I would strongly discourage anyone from considering this hotel: Lackluster Service: The service provided by the staff at the Berlin Marriott was abysmal. From the moment I arrived, I was met with indifference and apathy. The front desk staff seemed disinterested in assisting guests and lacked basic courtesy. It felt as if they were doing me a favor by checking me in. Unpleasant Room: The room I was allocated was far from the luxurious experience I was expecting from a 5-star hotel. The decor was outdated and tired, and the overall cleanliness was questionable. The bed was uncomfortable, and the linens seemed worn out. It was clear that the room had not been adequately maintained. Noise and Disturbance: The hotel failed to provide a peaceful environment for its guests. The walls were paper-thin, allowing every noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway to infiltrate my room. Sleep was nearly impossible due to constant disruptions, and the lack of soundproofing was unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Inadequate Amenities: The advertised amenities of the Berlin Marriott were far from satisfactory. The fitness center was poorly equipped and poorly maintained, making it impossible to have a decent workout. The spa facilities were limited and lacked the level of relaxation and luxury one would expect from a high-end hotel. Overpriced Dining Options: The on-site dining options were exorbitantly priced for the quality of food and service provided. The meals were mediocre at best, lacking creativity and flavor. Considering the location, there are much better dining options in the surrounding area that offer a far superior experience. Overall, my stay at the Berlin Marriott Hotel was an absolute letdown. The subpar service, lack of attention to detail, and overall poor experience have left me with a sour impression of this establishment. I strongly advise potential guests to explore alternative accommodation options in Berlin that offer better value for money and a more enjoyable stay.

Rooms were large and incredibly comfortable. Pool was a hit with the kids and infrared seats were a nice new spa comfort. Exec lounge was generous. Shower was fabulous. I wish i could live there!!!

I am still impressed with the fact that I could drink the water from the tap which is actually suggested. The staff was awesome, especially Mathida at the front desk. Gym is great with everything needed. The location was very central.

When we arrived here with a confirmed booking and agreed price they made a blatant attempt to charge extra for taxes and attempted a 400 Euro overcharge. It took a while to sort it out but it was obvious the clerk was trying hard to earn a commission or the like. The hotel itself was clean, modern, in a good location and the room was good.

Stayed here for 3 nights, very good experience during my stay. The room was quiet spacious and with everything functional. The staff at the reception were good too and when I ordered food from the room it was promptly delivered. There were also two of their housekeeping staff who would knock and give out some candies. The property is slowly starting to show age, beds old, washroom tap acting up occasionally but nothing major. There are two restaurants in the hotel premises that are really good and one could just walk to the Berlin mall where there are more choices. Location is in the midst of the embassies, taxis always available too.

An amazing 5 star hotel experience located at a happening place. Comfy bed, swimming pool, gym. Super cool and had fun. My room was on the 7th floor overlooking Berlin. Big thumbs up from my side.

Stayed for four nights. Spacious room but not really practical in design. Not enough storage if two persons use it for few days. Interaction with personnel was almost zero. Location was very convenient.

Wonderful experience again at Berlin Marriott. Thank you for being so welcoming and upgrading us to the suite. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. We will be back soon. Food and drinks at the lounge were on point.

Nice hotel and rooms in a good location. Service seems very good, nice bartender and wait staff in hotel bar/lounge area as well. Only problem with this hotel was the Internet; it did not work all 4 nights we stayed here. We tried connecting on 4 devices and nothing. The reception desk told us they could do a "hard re-set" for our room, but that did not help when I needed to sign into a work call. Could also not stream Netflix from the Marriott tv (which you can do in most Marriott properties). I saw people able to sign into Internet in the lobby, but it was very frustrating not being able to use hotel WIFI as a foreigner and having to use my mobile hotspot for everything. Otherwise a decent Marriott.

Our recent experience with Marriott at Berlin is not so good compared to earlier stay at other locations in Marriott. In berlin we noticed that housekeeping staff had intruded into the room twice within 2 days without even knocking the door...though it has been escalated at first instance we are surprised that it has repeated again. Even the prices are too high compared to the standards that are being maintained either compared to competitors or their ownselves at other places.

Situated in centre of Berlin city very smart hotel. Rooms very tidy and decent. Food also very tasty. All amenities are excellent. Checkin and check out experience outstanding. Near to station Potsdamer platz. Connected to city. Outside the hotel very good Indian restaurants

Good location, close to Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburg Gate, Mall and public transportation. Nice Lobby Bar. Good but pricey breakfast. Awesome service.

Surprisingly good. The hotel is newly renovated and they had done a great job. A lot of attention to detail was paid to the finishings and the overall look. I was pleasantly surprised.

The location is close to most of the historical sites people want to see when they visit Berlin. It is also right next to Tiergarten park, which is lovely to walk through. If you travel more for nightlife and food then this might not be as ideal a location. Staff were all polite and friendly, and the continental breakfast has a good variety of options. The pool/sauna/infrared seats are nothing to write home about, but are still nice to have access to. The rooms were spacious and were kept clean. Given the nightly cost I would have expected better quality bedding, towels, and toilet paper.

The most functional room we have ever stayed at. Amazing staff and hospitality. Great location. I think it's the best thing about it. Next to the tiergarten, near mall of berlin, close to metro, and many touristic destinations. The workout center is open 24 hrs, the pool opens up at 6am, closes at 11pm. My room was clean, no issues. Not happy with the fridge, filled with items that are pressure sensitive and automatically charge to the room if removed. I only had a tiny shelf to put any of my own food. The breakfast was great but comes at a premium price of 34 euro. I think overall it's a great place to stay, however there may be more budget friendly options out there.

Pretty terrible experience here. I never write reviews like this but I never experienced a front desk agent not willing to work through a problem. The manager I spoke with was helpful but the young gentleman was not and unfortunately when everything was said and done and I got a hold of Hilton Honors on the phone, they tried to call the hotel several times and were never able to reach anyone to figure out why my account wasn't correct. I tested it as well and the phone just rings. Overall on the phone and trying to work through issues with the hotel for 2hrs. Terrible experience.

The hotel rooms are nice enough for a stay and the location is perfect but there are some things I wish were improved about the rooms. The TVs in the rooms primarily seem to have German speaking channels and there was no way to turn on closed captioning(in any language). Playing your own content was also impossible as the TVs have no exposed hdmi ports and the chromecast feature offered in other Marriotts was not working yet at this hotel. This was disappointing because it meant that we ended up watching a lot of phone or laptop content instead when we were winding down. The breakfast was nice but the first night we were there the restaurant was overwhelmed and I didn't even find out you could order an omlette with the buffet until our last morning at the hotel.

The rooms we're clean, bed was comfortable. Didn't get the chance to enjoy the bar, but it looked busy and people we're having a great time. Staff we're accommodating and friendly. The location was minutes from all the spots i had wanted to see.
