Not what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. We've stayed in a 4 star before and this hotel didn't measure up. The room felt cramped and narrow. The open plan layout was not our liking. The bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. My wife had neck cramps. Could have been better for the amount of money that was paid for the room. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The lounge/bar was well stocked and service was really good. The hotel is situated in a really good location. Close to public transport and public attractions.

The bathroom was a shock, as there is only a shower screen between you and the rest of the room. This means you can hear, smell and pretty much see everything. 🫣 The room was very basic, however there was a hairdryer, mini fridge and safe. It was very hot in the room with no air-conditioning, it was also stuffy. There is no breeze from the window, due to the nature of the building. 🥵 The pillows are all feather and are in desperate need of changing as there is nothing to them. We were told to use more than one , but they slip about. Our first night it was 25'c in the day so the room was hot. We couldn't sleep and couldn't turn the radiator off..(why was it even on?) We called down to reception and they said the only option was to move room. Someone came up with a different key and we were told to pack all of our stuff up right away as we could not leave anything behind. So at 01:30 we started packing our belongings. I had to walk with a stick so my husband moved the luggage, at one point the key stopped working and he had to go to reception and get another key. It was really poor customer service, we just wanted to sleep after a long day traveling.

Extremely well located. Plentiful breakfast. Rooms clean and spacey.12 o'clock check out useful . Not very impressed with having to pay 3 euro a day for the capsules for the coffee machine in the room. Other 4 star hotels do this for free.

Terrible hotel! The outside and inside are nice, but once you walk through the door of your hotel room, everything changes! The glass shower is in the middle of the room and when showering, there is no consistency to the temperature of the water. You get bursts of scalding hot water, then cold water. Oh yeah, that was in our second room. Upon check in, we unpacked and showered. However, stepping out of the shower, there was a giant puddle of water on the floor from the shower leaking. So we had no choice but to move rooms. The next day we were skipped for room service and had to call the desk to ask for clean towels. The third day, we returned at 3:00pm and room service was just entering to clean, so we had to go wait in the lobby for them to finish. Overall, we were disappointed with the service and the hot/cold issue with the shower. I'm sure you can find a nicer hotel somewhere else.

Very compact room. Make sure you're very comfortable with whoever you're staying with because they will hear absolutely everything in the "toilet". The shower Is literally in the bedroom with a shower curtain divide. Lights are either all on or all off - no in between. Free toilets are on the second floor if you need privacy. Room cleaned daily which was good. Bed was comfy. Location is the best thing about this place

If you wish to check in early, you should not report to the reception desk. They will ask you for 25 euros in payment. When I used the machine to check myself at the entrance, they did not charge me. I find this very odd. In any case, the stay in its whole was pleasant, the room was spotless and ample, and it was reasonably priced. The gymnasium had some beautiful new additions. The most important aspect is located towards the center.

The hotel's location is very central and convenient for exploring the city. The self-check-in process was a nice touch, streamlining the arrival procedure. The QR information system in the room was helpful. However, the most significant issue that impacted our stay was the air conditioning. The A/C control panel is extremely basic, and not modern at all. For the first three out of our four nights, it performed poorly, leaving the room uncomfortably warm and making it challenging to get a good night's sleep. This aspect of the stay was particularly disappointing and affected our overall enjoyment of the trip to Berlin. Another area that fell short of expectations was the bedding. The pillows were notably small and flat, which detracted from the comfort of sleeping. While it's appreciated that guests can request additional pillows, the standard ones provided should have been of higher quality to ensure a comfortable rest from the beginning. In terms of room maintenance, there were some noticeable lapses. Upon check-in, we found the soap dispenser in the bathroom to be empty, and it remained so until the third night of our stay. Similarly, the mini soaps were not replenished until the final day. As a result, we used our own body wash as soap for a few days. Another cleanliness-related issue was the state of the TV remote. It was covered in dust and dirt, suggesting that it had not been cleaned in quite some weeks or months. This lack of attention to hygiene was concerning and made the experience feel unsanitary. Additionally, a notable disappointment was the absence of coffee capsules despite having coffee cups and creamer sachets provided. Lastly, housekeeping's timing was questionable, as they arrived to clean our room at 9 am on the day of check-out when we were not ready to leave. While the Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz has its strong points such as a central location, there are several basic areas that require improvement. I understand guests can contact reception for assistance to respond to these issues promptly. However, in my view guests should not be burdened with the responsibility of fixing multiple problems in their room. A well-maintained and comfortable stay is a fundamental expectation when booking accommodation. The lackluster air conditioning, uncomfortable bedding, lapses in room maintenance, and cleanliness issues all impacted the quality of our guest experience.

Great location with amazing views from the room. The room size is quite big, but the way the bathroom is designed is just weird with a partial curtain separating the bathroom area from the room! The hotel has a great terrace with a nice view of the city, however one needs to pay 6€ for access to it, even though you're staying with them!! Quite surprising!

We had an enjoyable 4 night stay . The hotel is wonderfully located and central. The room had a strange layout and shower space was neat Breakfast was fine and staff helpful, generally. However, provision of decaff coffee in room was not an option !?

Great place. It's not a hotel brimming with pools etc, but they have an efficient and friendly management, comfortable (albeit not large) rooms and the best location you can wish for. Pretty much my go to place in Berlin

Daher 4/5 Sternen

Built in the 60's and still going strong! The decor is very good and kept very tidy. Our room was all the way on the 21st floor though the very fast lift made easy work of it! On entry the room was 'cosy' though comfortable. My only quibble is the cost of breakfast. If not booked/included it's a top heavy €26 each. It is a buffet style and lovely food though! The location is excellent for most activities. Its approx 30-45 minute walk to the Brandenburg Gate.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. When I saw how huge the hotel was, I was anxious if everything would be well organized, but I didn’t have to worry, everything was covered. What I liked particularly: - location (literally everything I needed was nearby, and a metro station within a few steps - staff (everyone was polite, helpful, and efficient) - quiet room (almost didn’t hear the neighbors) - pillows and blankets (usually my neck hurts from hotel pillows but not this time) - view (I stayed on the 33 floor, nice city view) - good water pressure and temperature - coffee pots on each table during breakfast (and coffee was pretty decent) What I would suggest to improve: - the room was a bit dusty, especially the dining table and the lamp - shower door needed my help to close (the rubber at the bottom needs to be replaced) - breakfast buffet options were quite limited (would be great to have some non pork meat and vegetables, more fresh vegetables and salad) - on the last day of my stay, the cleaning person started knocking on the door from 9am. I wanted to sleep more, but I guess that was my cue to leave 😸

Surprising experience, still staying at the hotel, which is a surprise for me. The rooms are clean, but the room design doesn't match 2023 standards. The shower and toilet are separated by a curtain from the sleeping area, which is unexpected. Check-in starts exactly at 3:00 PM; if you arrive on a morning flight, you need to pay €2 to store your luggage until you get the room. Not customer-friendly, and the hotel staff seems to think it's acceptable. Don't expect a double bed; there are two single beds with separate blankets. Quite disappointing, and I anticipate the hotel's response won't address my concerns. Before booking, be aware. I'll update my review if there are changes. By the way, we bought a blanket so we could sleep well, unlike the hotel that didn't allow us – it cost us €22. How embarrassing!!!!!!!

Excellent location, nice rooms, marvellous shower! The compact rooms offers everything you need, including amazing views. The see-through glass shower wall might not be to everyone's taste, but as I was by myself it was fine. The shower is absolutely marvellous, one of the best I've had. The online/self check-in worked quite well, and saved time. The location of this hotel is outstanding, I usually stay near Zoo when visiting Berlin, so this was a nice change, with similar easy access to the excellent public transport system and shopping and food options. Really very good hotel.

Great location in the city center with easy access to metro and bus. Self-service check-in and check-out add convenience. However, the room was a bit worn; the shower had issues, and the tile floor was stained. Despite these drawbacks, the fair pricing makes it a reasonable choice for those prioritizing location.

Spacious room and breakfast with easy check in service and helpful staff. Few issues with room: Urine smell which didn’t go away the entire trip despite constantly flushing toilet, 2 single beds instead of 1 double, Shower hot and cold through use and no control of temperature in room. Central location with easy access to train station, tram and local tourist attractions.

I enjoyed my stay. I thought the location was convenient. The accessibility to transportation all through the city was readily available. Check-in and out was an easy process. My room was cleaned and maintained daily and efficiently. I had an issue with the toilet but spoke to maintenance who fixed it the same day, which resolved the issue. I would stay here again the next time I am in Berlin.

I came to Berlin for photo shooting and booked a room with panoramic view. No need to say that these rooms are more expensive than the standard ones, which is ok. What is not acceptable is that the inner side of the windows were dirty. I was able to see the face grease of previous occupants “printed” here and there on the windows. Outer side of the windows were dirty as well and could easily be cleaned as there are two sets of windows, for safety reasons. I understand that the safety window is hard to clean and involves special equipment. The room was clean and wide, but the service could be better for this price range. I had coffee in the room, but the room service didn’t change the cups. What was I supposed to do ? Wash it with body soap ?! There was only one set of pillows, a bit sad if the long and narrow type of pillow is not your thing… It was an interesting experience and if you don’t plan to shoot photos from the room and are ready to do the dishes, it’s worth a try. Personally, I was disappointed and will book another hotel next time I come to Berlin. I might use the panoramic roof of the hotel which is accessible for an additional 6 euros…

Great hotel but very large. Well organised and breakfast is really good. However the standard rooms are a little odd. The photo shows the shower curtain yet this was taken with me sitting on the bed. So there are no walls around the bathroom, the toilet is separate but has a smoked glass petition. This means a few things. When you get out the shower cubicle you’re freezing and if you need the toilet in the night and you turn the light on it illuminates the whole room. A very odd design. Other than that the bar is great and prices good. The hotel shop selling food and drink is extortionate.

We took a corner room on a high floor, and the price was reasonable, the room is lovely with pleasant colors, clean and everything is like new! The view is amazing!! We left with the feeling that we received full value for our expense and much more! The lobby is spacious with an exit in two directions, the reception is staffed with several people, the dining room is very large with several seating areas, everything is clean, spacious, aesthetic, the service is courteous, excellent location in the center of Alexander Plaza, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, fountains with a green garden, a train station and buses very close, next to the TV tower and next to other impressive buildings. Definitely a good experience thanks

Affordable rooms that are nothing to phone home about, but definitely checks the needed boxes. Our room became subject to a water leak over night, but within an hour of contacting the reception we had been offered a new (upgraded!) room, and for them to move our baggage while out and about. Overall a nice stay, would definitely consider staying there again.

Nothing special, the rooms look really claustrophobic and there is no equipment inside except the basic things. The king size bed is actually 2 twin beds connected, so when you sleep, you have a huge hole under your back in the middle and you slip all night. Brekfest is really great. Definitely deserves to be a 3 star hotel.

The entire experience has been fantastic; from the location of the hotel and the view from the room. Room was well maintained and serviced. Breakfast available on the floor floor; didnt have to go to another location within the hotel. Many POI are in a fair walking distance or short taxi ride away. Would definitely return for my next visit in Berlin

Because of the pandemic, hotels are probably suffering right now but this was not a good experience. I was sick and still had to leave and go to a different hotel after a few days. The room literally smelled bad. The entrance to the hotel felt like it was in a parking lot under construction. There were no rugs on the floor. There was no concierge other than between the hours of 9 am and 12 pm. The staff was sometimes curt or rude. This is not the fault of the staff but of the global corporatizing of so much of our lives. The room was roomy and the view was great, but no one detailed where breakfast was or that you could get tea and coffee at hours other than breakfast. I never write reviews but this would have been a better experience if the room were smaller and more comfortable but smelled clean and fresh and had some care put into it. This hotel is the more horrible looking building in Berlin and it towers over other buildings. If there is going to be a 40 or so story building in a major European city, it should at least have some aesthetic beauty. This building feels as if it were created for mass use--large numbers of guests at maximum capacity. All in all depressing and dehumanizing.

The rooms are.really tiny. Double bed size is just enough for a single person. Didn't like the bathroom at all which is like a cube within the room. The water actually flows out of the bathroom when taking shower. The breakfast was just very basic, and the quality was not great either. The hotel might be ok for conferences and official stays but definitely not for leisure or when staying with family.

The room is not overly large. Location is convenient. There is a Christmas Market right at the other side of the entrance. In my view, it is just a very standard room. It keeps clean. There is no hot water in our room, and we have to get someone to fix it. After 24 hours flight, that wasn't really welcome.

Excellent all round. Room was clean and well maintained with a fantastic view over the city. Location was perfect, a perfect base to explore Berlin. A special mention must go to the breakfast too, a massive buffet with pretty much anything you could fancy for breakfast

Amazing location. Great views from the room. Small gym facility which does the job if you want to keep up some fitness. Breakfast buffet is pleasant. The room overall could be slightly improved / updated.

Positives: Location is amazing! Excellent transport connections around the city and to/from the airport on your doorstep. Friendly & helpful staff (we wanted to upgrade our room for a bigger bed & they made sure we saw the room & checked we were happy before we paid for the upgrade). Breakfast until 11:00 so great for a lay-in, great buffet too. Amazing city views, obviously better on the TV-tower side but they're great either way. Nice & quiet. Negatives: Water & plumbing issues! We had a frantic knock on the door from Maintenance early one morning saying our shower was leaking into the room downstairs! We were moved to another room on a higher floor & a nicer view so whilst inconvenient, we accepted these things can happen. Now in the new room, the following morning the cold water stopped working & completely lost pressure whilst my partner was in the shower so we now only had scolding-hot water to wash with & the toilet wasn't refilling! After 15 mins, just as we were about to call Reception, the cold water came back on but for the remaining 2 nights of our stay the water would come out slightly yellow/brown every few seconds which was gross! Separately, the lack of privacy in the bathrooms would be an issue if you're not sharing with someone you're very comfortable with! The bathroom walls/doors are just translucent glass (our door didn't close properly either) so pretty much zero privacy. No A/C in the rooms, thankfully we travelled in winter so didn't need it but can imagine they get hot in the summer! Charging guests to access the roof terrace is a shame and seems money-grabbing. Also, charging guests for luggage storage seems odd when it's usually complimentary at other similar hotels. Overall, if you want somewhere super convenient to access/travel around the city then this could be it. The staff are super helpful & nothing seemed too much trouble, unfortunately the building & rooms are dated, the lack of A/C may be an issue depending when you're travelling, the bathroom privacy might be off-putting for some & the water issues really overshadowed what would have been an amazing stay at this hotel.

Rooms not over large or luxurious but still comfortable. Personally would prefer a shower to a bath & shower combination, don't know if these are available. Views are everything that was promised. Location is perfect for public transport. Hotel restaurant Spagos is excellent but understaffed, ridiculously so at peak times. The IT didn't function seamlessly: I never got the promised confirmation code to work with the Event Hotels app, and my reservation was rejected for no good reason by self check in, although a human then dealt with it very promptly. The food & drink fridges are useful on occasions. Not a top class hotel, but then again, comfortable and practical at a reasonable price. Will use again.

Smallish but comfortable room. They catered well for the marathon running crowd. Elevators were overly busy due to 1 being serviced. City view rooms have a great view.

  • 5/5 Jamie C. 6 months ago on Google
Checked in within minutes of arriving, room was on a high level looking at the tower and we were blown away by the view. No replacements of coffee pods was my only disappointment, our service was great considering how busy the hotel was on the weekend we stayed (Berlin Marathon), but we could see how other people may not have had the same experience as us as the reception area was often fully packed with travellers looking to check in/out. Highlight is the rooftop, we went for sunset and it was fantastic.

Loved this hotel fab location close to all transport you need to get around sightseeing. Lovely room with great views of the city 33rd floor. Comfortable bed although pillows a bit flat and Bathroom area had bath not shower so therefore 4 stars not 5. Staff very friendly . No problems with the lift always 1 available. Would definitely recommend this hotel and go again if visiting Berlin again.

Spent a couple of nights here back in 1999 when it was the Forum Hotel. The rooms were nicely furnished and has rewarding views of the city. I’m sure the interiors changed but I had a memorable time. I would definitely be back when I return to Berlin.

We had a fabulous view. The room was small but efficient. Not a fan of smoked glass walls in toilet or shower stall or the wait for the elevator during popular times. Had to compete with any tour groups for the elevator. Breakfast was OK. Ideal location to all public transportation.

  • 3/5 Mathieu S. 2 years ago on Google
Good enough with nice views, but the check-in process was long. Self check-in did not work. On rush hours, you can wait up to 20 min to get an elevator with less than 4 people(which is a shame when you have a few days to enjoy the city). Just for the elevator, I would not recommend!!

Our stay was really enjoyable. The room ( 1016) was clean and the bed really comfortable. As for the complaints seen about the shower and storage space, plus privacy of the shower area, I can only think it is a certain nationality that is complaining, as there is nothing at all wrong with the hotel. It is brilliant, along with the food , and service. Kristin on reception deserves a special recognition and was a real star. Polite, helpful and spoke brilliant English. Both my wife and I will definitely book this hotel for next year. Hopefully the same room if possible.

This hotel was recommended by BA when I booked my flights and wow, what a perfect result. Superb location near every amenity you could need. Easy access to transport links to get all over the city. The staff were super helpful and really friendly. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and had everything you could need. We had a small problem with the safe but even though it was midnight a member of staff came up to my room and sorted it out immediately. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

  • 4/5 Ahmad G. 2 years ago on Google
The view is the main attraction. The hotel is okay otherwise. Not much in terms of amenities. It is clean and in good shape. Elevator is super fast. Just the rooms would need more things. For example there were only single pillows per person and it was too little. Room service is reachable but not too eager to help. I think it is just the sheer size of the place that makes them try to reduce service needed to run the place. But a good visit for the view.

I would stay here again! Great location, pleasant staff, invoice exactly as booked with no surprises. Odd thing though...the staff answer was always "no". Which, in a hotel that wasn't even half full, seemed very surprising. For example, we arrived 90 mins early for check in. We were told we couldn't check in without paying an additional fee. But, they kept our luggage safe for 90 mins while we went out to eat (not at the hotel). We came back and checked in. It wasn't busy...the answer was just "no". Also, we asked for a late check out by an hour and were instantly told "no" because it was Christmas. yes, that was the excuse. Seemed odd but, ok, maybe it was full. However, I would think the hotel was, at best, 25% full. We asked for ice and was told, "no". It went on and on. We gave up. Even asking the concierge for help getting a taxi seemed to be an inconvenience - taking him away from his phone. We gave up. However, the room was very clean. It was nicely appointed (take your own toiletries if you prefer something above average - and bring hair conditioner if you require it.) We never found the temperature control in the room and it was very warm. The window did open so we were able cool it down and it was quite pleasant. The price for our room was reasonable and the room met our expectations. I am travelling to Germany next year and would stay here again.

The hotel is OK, the people at the reception were very service minded and friendly. The interior in the room is quite old and could use an upgrade. View was great and hotel is located close by public transport which makes it easy to explore Berlin. The resturant was not an pleasant experience. We had a package with breakfast and dinner buffet. Food was not being refilled and when we arrived at the resturant and told the staff that the there where many empty plates without food, we just got the reply that the other guests had finished the food, this was at 19.15… In addition, when we asked for a table for 6 people, we were first told they could only offer tables for 4, this even though there where several of completely empty sections of the resturant, but with tables that had already been set for breakfast. And there where many more small things that could have made the experience better, fresh bread for breakfast, name signs for the dishes served at the buffet and overall just friendly and service minded staff. I would not recommend the resturant from what we have experienced.

This is the worse hotel Ive been to in my life. Reasons? The process of getting the room took 45 minutes. The room was more like a jail cell. Nothing to do with a hotel, The regular rooms are tiny. You cant open the window, shower and Toilet use the same sliding door and are just two tiny cabins. Breakfast is okay but nothing out of this world, for 15 bucks the selection was rather small. Also the manager of this hotel is horrible, I wanted to talk to her and from her tone to her way of communicating everything was horrible. Conclusion, for the price it is not worth a visit, its not relaxing nor is it comfortable. I would never return and never recommend.

Stayed in the “Superior Corner Room City View/Panorama-Zimmer Mehrblick” - the views were beautiful but pity the windows were not clean. The information pamphlet didn’t have any pages/information on room service or restaurant. Any other information I was directed to use the reception button on the phone, but it didn’t dial through. Breakfast was alright the next day. I liked the easy self check-in and express check-out options…mini bar was empty so don’t expect anything in there.

Really nice hotel for staying in central Berlin. Had a room with a view of the city and it was truly an amazing view! No need to pay for any viewing places, just stay in the room! Service was good and they even helped us check in earlier when we were early. Breakfast was nice and had the restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere. Amazing coffee for breakfast!

Huge hotel (1000+ rooms), which can use some modernization. Rooms are expensive and small, but clean. Beds very firm, not very comfortable. Showering in bathtub is terrible, seperate shower would be nice. View from 31st floor is amazing, nice to have separate elevator for 20+ floors. Disappointing variety in breakfast and unfriendly staff, not worth the money. Friendly concierge and self-service check-in is a nice service. Location is perfect, next to U-station. I believe you can find much better for less money.

Good hotel but let down by no tea coffee making facilities. Also the roof terrace is just like sitting on pallets on the rooftop; it's not a fancy bar with settees that seems to be suggested; the bar is just a cupboard at the top of the stairs. Plus the lift stops at floor 35 then it's a further 6 or 7 flights of stairs to reach the terrace. Having said that it's well situated and right beside a main transport hub.

Comfortable bed and more quiet than other hotels in Berlin. Great location and view. Marked down for terrible WiFi (even the paid version), not enough irons so had to wait hours, air conditioning is weak so the room was too hot.

First impressions were good, swift check in. Although fancy check in machines were out of room cards. Very fast lifts, and plenty of them. Rooms were very modern, and quite spacious. There was a small table by the window, with a view of the TV tower, which was lovely to eat a little bit of food at. In typical German style, it was a double bed with two separate duvets. There was a fridge, as well as wine glasses in the cupboard. Also plenty of storage space around the room. The only give away that the hotel was built in the DDR era, was the large sprinkler on the side of a small wall in the middle of the room! The air conditioning was very effective, which was very nice in the summer. I'd definitely stay here again, especially for the low price I paid per night!

Excellent location, very clean tidy room. Great breakfast with plenty of choice which was frequently replenished. Service excellent. Only slight letdown was lack of tea and coffee facilities in room. Did provide kettle and few coffee and sugar sachets on request but these were not replenished daily and toiletries were minimal and not replenished. However this did not affect our stay. Daughter lives locally which was the reason for our visit. Would stay again.

Accomodation for the purpose of business trip. Room quite small, but except the fridge had everything needed. View from the room is very nice. Breakfast above average from my perspective - plenty of possible choices. Location very good with usage of hotel parking lot.

I had a very disappointing stay. AC were not working throughout whole stay and the staff at reception initially just refused to help. The third last day I met a very nice man at reception and he did listen to My request. He tried to find a room working with AC which I appreciate and in the end provided me a table fan which helped in my final stay. The experience from last boy that he is trying to help me changed my opinion otherwise when I checked in for 2 days staff just written off my request. At checkout they did give me discount but I appreciated at least if they have provided me a table fan at check in so that I can sleep. As Berlin was very hot those 2 days. Many other staff also complained in the lift. But simply writing off customer request is not very appreciable. I was pleased with help of last reception staff who at least tried. And than eventually provided me a table fan which helped. But at the time of check in and asking for help From Multiple people they just ignored. What annoyed me the most is some people said to me they have table fan which I didn’t have. I thought because I was staying alone they didn’t more or less care which is not very good service. Sorry I will now never ever stay there. Thanks

I stayed here as part of a marathon tour package - I did not personally select this hotel. The location is excellent, and there was even a small Oktoberfest happening in the square outside of the hotel. The breakfast was also excellent. The room was small but relatively clean. As others have noted, the wifi was not strong. But I was a bit surprised by the bathroom setup. The shower walls were see-through and only protected by a curtain. The toilet was encased separately by frosted glass, but the “door” to the toilet didn’t even seal. It was kind of like a swing door. Not an ideal setup for friends unless you are okay hearing everything.

Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. A little unusual with glass partitions between toilet and shower. Excellent location for tour buses and Christmas market. Did seem a little low on staff at breakfast and in the bar. There need to be more lifts or better staircases serving floors 1 to 20 as a queue of 20 mins was not out of the ordinary at busy times. Breakfast was buffet style and better in ground floor restaurant than on Floor 2 where it overflowed to at weekends.

Stopped for a conference. A very decent city centre hotel. Managed to extend my stay when the flight was cancelled with no trouble. Rooms are compact but well-appointed, the food is good and close to transport links.

The room had a magnificent view and was easy to reach with a fast elevator. The breakfast was good with cold and warm, salty and sweet alternatives. It was not too crowded at any time, because the restaurant can host a lot of people. In the late evening the bar was nice and spacious. Music was not too loud, so you could sit and talk with a normal voice. The luggage room seemed to have a safe procedure, which we appreciated. All important sights were easy to reach from Alexanderplatz (we used the U-Bahn, train and bus) and there were good restaurants on a short walking distance in the area.

A nice hotel at a really great location. Good, decent rooms in fresh modern style. Beds are really nice. But the pillows are really really bad. If you want any sort of support or height in the pillow make a point to ask for special one. Location right at Alexanderplatz is awesome. Very close to all public transportation as well as some really good shopping. The area also provide a nice selection of food and bars. Easy walk to many major sights in what used to be central East-Berlin

We were so Happy with our experience! We Were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and we a got everything we wished for and more. The room had an over the top view and the breakfast to the room was big! Also it was nice to arrange everything beforehand with the same person writing back, gave me a good trust in them. Thank you! Heart full thanks to Grit that was helping me arranging. Also thanks to the exceptional staff that was really professional and friendly on site.

I stayed for couple of nights during summers with air conditioning not working for both nights. I had to request to be compensated rather than the hotel offering compensation themselves. The initial compensation was 18% off the bill where as it was eventually settled for 25% off the bill. Considering a 4 star hotel stay should be comfortable, therefore, I believe that I was not reasonably compensated. However, the hotel management thought otherwise

I had a good time on the Park Inn. Great location in the heart of the city. The breakfast was wonderful with long list of self service options. The room was clean and too cold. I couldn’t use the controller to make it a bit warmer at last. Surprisingly, there wasn’t tooth brush and toothbrush in the room.

Great location. Close to the train station. Most sites are easily accessible from its location. Rooms were clean and the view was great. The room faced the Berlin Tower. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. Breakfast was great. The restaurant is immaculate and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The room was last updated some time ago. The shower door does not fit closed so a wet bedroom results from having a shower. No USB’s. The self check in does not inform one on how to use the lifts. Don’t ask me to rate the location on Alexanderplatz when the hotel access from the square is closed at night with no clear sign on how to find to the main entrance which is not on Alexanderplatz. I was charged for my room twice and despite being promised a refund have had another charge taken from my account. I have waited over a week to post a review as I thought this adequate time for this to be resolved. Their own review questionnaire is a joke; how can I review things that I didn’t use? And yet there is no ‘N/A’ option. The hotel is probably very efficient in the main and of course my trouble did I not arise until I was home. Again I am sure that the staff do a great job and that the food, which looked excellent, is in fact so.
