Issue 1: They cancelled my booking almost immediately after heard I’m sick but only let me know afterwards when I followed up with them that there is no refund, even though I mentioned in the call and email please help with cancellation and refund. Issue 2: The booking condition for my rate was no cancellation, not no cancellation free of charge as the reservation manager stated to me. I pointed that out and questioned how did they manage to cancel my booking despite the no cancellation rule, then no response. Conclusion: they cancelled my booking almost immediately so they can resell it at a higher rate and get double income from the room, especially considering some past reviews mentioned they had overselling before. They kept the no refund part out when I explained I am sick and they cancelled my booking, then they tried to switch the concept of no cancellation to no free cancellation. This is a money hungry place with bad customer services. Do not recommend.

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. On the other hand, the architecture is special, the hall is very dark in the evening and the atmosphere is particularly cold. The rooms overlook this hall, you have to leave the light on even during the day and close the curtains if you don't want to be seen from the hall. No opening to the daylight.

Good location, close to transport links and handy to have a large supermarket literally underneath it. Rooms overall clean and comfortable but service could be a little better. Room was not made up for 2 days. Broken fixtures and low pressure shower in bathroom. Long waits at reception. TV was broken on arrival. (Fixed on request, but still any annoyance)

I am upgrading the review bellow. At this time the device was nice , the room also and I received an upgrade because of my Accor member card! Thanks I am really sad to do this review. I am a gold member of accor and always try to stay in a accor hotel. This was the third time that we stayed in Moa Mercure. It was the worst experience that me and my family ever had in Berlin. I will try to point it out just the main problems that we had here: 1) the bed is not comfortable and soon after bed it was already undone 2) the housekeeping service was very limited, they just put shampoo in the first day 3) the restaurant for breakfast was really full and they did not tell us about the option for room breakfast (that is a good choice in these pandemic times) 4) they promote a lot of events in the hotel during our stay, no distance and no mask I take some pictures of this, is unbelievable 5) the hotel staff, most of them, left the nose out of the mask as if they were doing something and we all know is not true, 6) the service at the restaurant/bar at night it was desperate. Slow service, they didn't see us when we sat down or when we wanted to ask for the bill 7) On the last day to close with a golden key, I asked for help from the young blonde lady who stayed at the reception (and always left her nose out of the mask) to get a cart to take our bags. She said she would help and simply ignored me. Minor things: If you need anything from the reception, there's no point in using the room phone. They just don't answer. Then you need to go to the reception in person. *Exception: The manager who received us on the first day was the exception of the terrible treatment given to us. On request he changed our room and was kind enough to show us before we decided whether or not we would like to change.

The room is large and I am satisfied with it. But it has no Caffe machine and the TV didn't work. As a Gold Member, they haven't offered either a welcome drink or a welcome gift. I have asked them why, but the receptionist told me it is because of Corona-Situation. I cannot understand it. If there is a refrigerator, you can offer a drink for pick up. I have fulfilled a flyer to receive the link to rate the hotel. But they have ignored it. I can give 5 stars to the room, 3 stars to the facilities and 0 star to the service or management. UPDATE:The hotel responded to my comment. And I am satisfied with it. Perhaps staff needs to communicate more with the management team to improve service quality. The manager's attitude is very different.

at first glance the hotel seems nice but this is only on their site. the hotel is sweltering hot, at half past three room was still not ready. we got another room that had not been cleaned, no bathrobes, toiletries, slippers. super bad service, because when reporting they do not respond or say sorry and do nothing. very noisy in the room. you are also not on a quiet street. there is also little choice of evening meal. the superior rooms are actually not made for sleeping with three people because you have no place to put your bags except on the dirty floor and you also sleep on an unfolded wooden plate. The other two persons bed made a lot of noice because something was loose in it. The city around it is really bad and everyone can come in the hotel, because it’s so big that there is no security. What they say when you check out? Im sorry and that’s it after saying it multiple times €500 for two days, then you expect more of it. super overated this hotel and definitely not 4 stars.

First, even though I booked a room with a queen size bed, I got a split twin bed (that is, two single beds connected to each other). When I complained about this in an email to the hotel manager, Ilan, and asked to change rooms, he replied that "all rooms in the hotel have the same type of bed". Secondly, on my first night at this hotel, at about three o'clock in the morning, the receptionist on duty man of the hotel thought my room was free, and invaded my room together with another girl, and she started screaming, and I woke up from my sleep in a panic and fear, and I couldn't sleep all night following this incident. I felt very unsafe in this hotel. And when I asked for a refund for that night, the hotel manager replied by email that "it is not possible to receive a refund", and instead I was given a paltry compensation of two breakfasts (and after I tried to argue with them about the humiliating compensation - I was given two more breakfasts). Needless to say, if I were interested in breakfasts from the hotel, I would order them in advance. I did not like these four breakfasts at all. I really don't think that this is a decent compensation for the heartache caused to me. Thirdly, the current in the shower is very weak. As a result it took me a very long time to shower. Fourth, I was given a very corner and inaccessible room on the last fourth floor (not all elevators reach it), and even on the floor itself I had to walk two corridors until I got to my room, which was located next to the washing machines that made noise all night, and even shook the walls, and white crumbs (of Lime or asbestos, I think) fell on me from the walls and I had to breathe them all night. Fifth, the breakfast itself is very poor: it consists mostly, in my opinion, of products bought from the Edeka supermarket located on the ground floor of this complex. Other than orange juice and some tired vegetables, I don't think there were any fresh ingredients in this meal. Sixth, the pillows were very smelly (probably sweat), and the bedding was uncomfortable and inappropriate. The pillowcases detach easily from the pillows, so they don't really help deal with the problem. In conclusion, I suffered a lot from my stay at this hotel and the disrespectful service, and I honestly highly recommend you stay away from it.

The location, while not exactly central, is close to the underground and it's easy to get there from the airport and train station. The Hotel itself will impress you, I'm sure. The rooms are fantastic, the staff very friendly, there is a fridge and a coffee maker in the room and a big convenient store on the ground floor. But the absolute stand out is the breakfast - make sure you eat here in the morning - I've never seen breakfast done better anywhere else.

I don't understand the people who actually enjoyed this hotel, our experience here was rather "bad" We came in and everything went as planned with the check in only to see the final product being a room with no privacy from the public and little walking space as it was magnificent small for the standard rooms the show case on their online foto's. The next problem is with the breakfast, don't get me wrong the food is great, there's something everyone likes I'm sure but there's not enough space for everyone, as im writing this im sitting at the lounge chair next to the restaurant as there was no place even tho we did buy breakfast included. And yes people can just buy in at any time so the chances of tables being less available is increasing. Now the last problem lays with the staff, the want to help and are very kind but unprofessional. We had booked for 3 day's and at the second day the already booked us out which wasn't very pleasant as i had to take my meds and the were in the room which we couldn't enter, and helping that took a long time as one of the reception personal didn't understand what was going on and the other was busy. In the end it was ok but it would be better to stay somewhere else as the prices are equal to other hotels but the quality of this drops below average.

Hotel looks nice. Service staff are nice. But we had many problems with the housekeeping. I believe they are a separate company hired by the hotel. They don't seem very cheerful. And we had one housekeeper steal a phone charger cable out of our room. And one Jr manager sent a condescending email almost excusing the housekeeper from taking our cable. And even tried to make it sound like they didn't steal it even though that is what happened. Then the way other Service managers handled it was very poor. Only when a more Senior Manager had found out about our situation...was a new cable purchased to replace the one taken from us. And then there was 1 day we put the sign on our door for the housekeepers to clean our room...and when we got back...the sign was switched around like we did not want the room cleaned. The housekeeper had done this either due to laziness or they just have a problem. From then on we took pictures of the sign on our door just in case to prove later. Overall...not a nice feeling to have during a vacation. And very weird to have such issues at such a nice looking hotel. Other staff members tried their best to help soothe our irritation with free drink tickets for their bar. And the bar manager was very nice as well. Like I stated above...the hotel staff were very cordial and friendly...but the bad experiences with the housekeeping put a bad memory in our heads. Their TVs and wifi have many issues. Better to download movies to your phone 1st then attempt to stream anything. Not sure if we will stay here or not in the future.

On this stay the room was newly renovated and had a really nice atmosphere of clean lines, good lighting and ambience of nice lamps and pictures. Bathroom was modern with good appliances. Breakfast buffet is outstanding for a four star hotel, with a wide range of very good quality hot and cold dishes. Room was cleaned very efficiently every day, staff are friendly but always a bit remote at check in and check out. Recommend it definitely for a business stay or city trip.

Positives: - very friendly staff - clean rooms - convenient parking - air conditioning worked well Negatives: - fridge barely cools at all - at least 50% of guests didn’t wear masks, as well as none of the hotel housekeepers and some of the reception staff. - we booked a larger room, but they put us in a smaller one that was VERY small. It was difficult with a baby. - not a great location to see the sights Overall friendly staff, but wouldn’t book again because of location and details listed.

The two stars are for the good service I got from the reception staff and the location of the hotel as it is very convenient. There is 24/7 reception and the hotel also has a breakfast buffet / restaurant / bar. The food quality is really good. The location is amazing as it’s a two minute walk away from train stations and right above a super market / cafes / haircut shops which is really convenient. However there were a lot of cons with the room itself that made the score so low for us, such as - When you check in - they ask if you are here for work or not. If you say no - they charge you 50EUR in city tax. Reception also doesn’t need any proof to say you’re here for work, so you can lie about it and avoid this tax. I thought it was very sneaky as it didn’t say anything on my booking about any extras. - The hotel room doesn’t have any heating and has an automatic AC which doesn’t turn off. So the room gets cold very easily and then warm during the night. - Large towels aren’t provided and they make you pay for a bathrobe if you need something larger. - Our room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned as we didn’t have toilet paper or hand soap when we came in, so we had to go fetch it ourselves at reception. - TVs do not have an HDMI and we had an issue with the SharePlay feature with the TV. The technician couldn’t fix it and we were told they’d come back twice. No one ever came back to fix the TV. - The cleaners who work here do not respect any privacy, there was a number of times where they knocked on our door and then instantly opened it. Very careless and not wary about the intimate space at all. - The WiFi was really poor in this hotel and we randomly got disconnected several times a day. If you are here for work this would not work for you. - The hotel room is very noisy and you often get woken up by the sounds of people next door / outside your room. It isn’t sound proof at all. - The shower water pressure isn’t great and I have paid for cheaper hotels that provide a better quality shower. - We ordered a double bed room - they gave two single beds and pushed them together which kept coming apart. So we had to keep pushing the beds together. The quality of the bedding is also really poor. The fabric breaks apart and you’ll find them on your clothes and in your hair. Overall, for the price I paid for this room and the prices they charge is definitely not worth it for the quality I got. I would come back if I was to have a shorter stay - otherwise I can spend the same amount elsewhere and get an exceptional more amount of quality.

I stayed at Mercure Hotel MOA Berlin for 3 nights. Initially I was given a room with windows that opened into an indoor space (i.e. no fresh air - there should be a law against that), but was immediately moved to another room with proper windows after asking the staff at the reception. The room was spacious, clean and quiet, but the ventilation in the restroom couldn't be turned off. Don't be fooled by the "breakfast in bed" advertisement in the room. It costs an extra 15 EUR (read fine prints), and cannot be charged to your room. You have to pay on spot and in cash (the card reader didn't work). The breakfast buffet was nothing special so consider skipping it.

Schönes Hotel. Nettes Personal. 😊

Stayed there for 2 nights in December. The hotel is within walking distance from the U-bahn station. The room was big compared to normal hotel rooms in Europe. The breakfast was really good. There was even a live egg counter. Overall we are really happy that we stayed there.

I stayed in this hotel on 1st Jan 2024. We reached Berlin late at night after 10:30 pm. After reading other reviews I felt skeptical about surroundings of the hotel but there was staff present which guided us to front desk. Check in was smooth but it takes time to get used to get to rooms. The rooms are secured in building with locked doors which is not accessible to general public(as other area is). The breakfast buffet was amazing (but at a cost). You get variety of things to eat. ATM is onsite and that was convenient. This neighborhood is little bit run down however my fmly didnt feel unsafe even in night. The room itself was pretty big and very well maintained. Room was provided with required toiletteries.

Great hotel in central part of Berlin with very comfort room's. Breakfast is simply amazing with many choices and with possibility to order fresh egg omelet. Hotel has its own parking place and in the ground floor there is a supermarket so easy to take few gifts especially when you are on business trip with limited time to stay in Berlin :)

A three-star hotel that is ranked as a 4 star simply because (and I'll openly admit it) the architecture is really pretty. The rooms aren't anything to write home, but breakfast is good. Desk-staff had some hiccups. Good position in terms of infrastructure to move about in the city, but the area itself isn't really nice. Price is too high all things considered.

    1) Bad location, the area feels dodgy and there are homeless people sleeping next to the entrance's elevator. 2) Extremely thin (fake) walls, you can hear all neighbouring rooms and when they close their room door, the wall and bed shake. 3) Zero security, elevators to rooms are publicly accessible. Before anyone says that you need to scan your Room key to enter the floors, everyone knows that this can be easily bypassed by some low-level social engineering. 4) Zero water pressure in the shower, better find a fountain outside and wash yourself. 5) The vending machine only accepts cash. Welcome back to the 2000s. 6) The 4th floor smelled like cigarettes. On the good side, the breakfast was good and the room was clean.

Toll! Behaltet das bitte bei !

The hotel is OK. Part of bigger conference area, so everything is a bit scattered around. Rooms are rather small but good if you are just using them for sleeping and taking the shower. Breakfast is on the first floor and has quite a food selection.

The hotel rooms were perfect and as advertised. The staff were always friendly and ready to help and multilingual. Breakfast was awesome. There is a choice for everyone. Location on the outskirts of Berlin was good as there was an underground station 200 m from the hotel which meant it was a 20 minute train ride into the centre of Berlin

Accor Diamond member experience: At check in I had to remind about free breakfast in queens weekends for Diamond member, which they had not heard about I also had to remind about drink voucher for Accor members No upgrade. No welcome letter. No welcome gift. But at least hotel is clean and room comfortable. Location seem to be alright Update day 2: The aircon in the room is stuck on 19.5 degrees and even if I put 26 degrees it will always keep 19.5 degrees, freezing cold. I complained to front desk this morning and they would send someone to check, but now in the evening I can see that it was not fixed. Housekeeping only replaced 2 out of 3 bath towels. I wanted to call front desk to get a third one but no answer. For the drink voucher that I had to remind front desk about upon check-in I could only choose beer, wine or soft drink. As diamond member I usually can choose cocktail for my voucher in Accor Hotels, but not here.

As a wheelchair user, I could not circulate with my wheelchair in the room because it was too small. I could not also access the wardrobe. The toilet facilities were excellent.

Request for a quiet room was perfect. We arrived early (12am) and could access the room directly. That was very nice. The breakfast is really good with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff very friendly. It is a bit complicated to find your ways, and it doesn't make sense that the rooms on the 4th floor have room numbers starting with 5..

Parking very simple, with lots of spaces in a secure garage next to the hotel. A large hotel with a nice bar in a gentrified neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, bars and night shops within short walking distance. My only very minor complaint was that the layout was quite confusing, particularly if you wanted to enter/exit via the stairs.

Stayed here for a congress, best breakfast buffet! The place has an interesting modern but not over the top architecture. I loved the open space reception. The rooms are clean and welcoming. The staff was very accommodating and the restaurant had good food, even if not a big variety of it. The location is tricky. If you are on business here, it’s great but take into account that you are not so close to the city center and you will probably have to change at least two means of transportation to get around.

We stayed in the new part of the hotel. The room was modern, spacious and did include a coffee maker. All staff was very friendly and attentive. The staff at reception as well as in the restaurant and hotel bar. The breakfast selection was very good and the food was tasty. Eggs made to order, hot and cold breakfast selection. The location is convenient close to Sbahn and Ubahn.

So far the hotel seems very good, but it's bad. Bad bad very bad in term of accessibility, i had to wonder for 10 min to find the reception. Then my room number started with 5, but it was on the 4th floor. Then I had to walk for few min to find it. Then you get to a point trying to find the restaurant and you see to signs of the restaurant in the complete opposite direction. Other than the maze it is, everything is good.

I was about to give a 5 star, but can give only 3 as I couldn't get from the hotel almost 30 minutes due to the parking ticket validation issue. So I drove with the car down and tried to get out, but parking ticket did not work. Then I ring the bell in order to get in touch with Hotel reception, nobody answered. I had to park my car, get to the hotel reception, fixed the ticket, went down and it didn't work the second time... It was a disaster, 2 times nobody could help me. And only on the third time, I finally got an absolutely new parking ticket that worked out... You definitely need to ensure that the bell on the exit works and someone always answer on the reception!

The first 4 stays were really great, however now that all the tourists are there again they are simply overwhelmed. They send me a bill for an extra night which I requested, all good, when I see the bill they charged for 3 nights of Parking and for breakfast which I specifically declined. I first requested a correction per E-mail, no reply, then I gave the reception a call asking them to correct it, guess what: they wanted me to come downstairs and wait at their desk for them to make the correction. It can't be that difficult to take out the 2 extra parking charges and the breakfast now can it?

Ok for the price and nice staff in the restaurant. Unfortunately rude staff on reception that act like you are an inconvenience. Really, not what you want when arriving from flying in. Insights you put your bar manager in charge of the reception, you will see an improvement
