Our experience at the Hotel Palace Berlin was perfect. We picked for the location, but also the offer we received through the hotel website. With an upgrade to the club junior suite, we received a modern room that was spacious and luxurious. Check-in was easy and our attendant was helpful and diligent. We received a nice bottle of wine, a large bottle of water and delicious treats - great for after our long journey! Our bed was magnificent - very comfortable and large - and loved the lights around the frame. The bathroom was clean and had one of the best tubs we've had, as well as a stand-alone shower with excellent water pressure. The soaps were nice but very fragrant. The club lounge is worth the extra money! Free drinks and snacks with lovely views of the park, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet fueled us for lots of sightseeing, and we always left fully satisfied. They were nice to accommodate our early arrive on a holiday, and the food was always excellent. Great selection! The pool/spa area is very nice, and the attendant (I wish I got names) was funny, friendly and helpful. She made sure we had a great visit. While there was nothing to indicate the pool temperature, it was surprisingly cold. But the waterfall and bubbling jets helped with our aches after lots of walking. Not a single complaint about our stay here. Thank you to the concierge for helping us decide where to visit and arranging our bus tour, and for ensuring my German phrases were accurate.

Clean and comfortable room. Housecleaner did an excellent work and room service was fine. Expensive and small variety f&b service . Excellent location and good breakfast Negative is the bathroom that needs refurbishment and the fact that they precharge u at check in 50 euro per day for mini bar and F&B. At check out they charge you the expenses again and then they refund the initial deposit with a delay of some days. So i ended up with a 350 euro less budget paid extra for mini bar and still wait for money which they dont know when it will be refunded. NONSENSE process in their favour holding customers money twice

This is our 3rd time staying here but will unfortunately be our last. When we 1st stayed here you felt like you were staying in a 5 star hotel with 5 star treatment. However, this time not so. The decor and rooms are great. The spa is great so it has all the ingredients for a great hotel. There are not enough staff! And so this has marred our stay. Not enough staff when checking in. Unable to get a drink in the bar for over 20 minutes. Staff not clearing the tables at breakfast. The hotel needs to do a bit of work on meeting the expectations of a 5 star hotel which in my experience starts with the customer service.

The hotel really lived up to my expectations. The location is great. Rooms are impeccable and stylish. The service is incredibly nice, helpful and pay attention to details. They really go the extra mile for providing a personalized experience to the guests.

Wonderful stay at this place. Very down to earth. Great service throughout all areas (spa, bar, restaurant, reception). The rooms are very big and have every comfort you need. The breakfast offerings are amazing (even with a special kids corner). We loved it there and will return for sure. Very kids friendly place!

This hotel deserves 6 stars. I went there for my 50th birthday solo. The hotel made sure I felt at home, upgraded me for free, gave me bubbly for breakfast and a little tray of chocs and strawberries for my me when I got back to suite. I ended up getting a bad cold whilst on trip so spent alot of time at bar drinking ginger tea. Girl at bar was super nice. I want her help noted. When I return to Berlin again I hope I get upgraded to same room for free because having a cold put a dampener on it. So I will be doing the trip again in off season when the weather forecast is better. I stayed in Park suite and I loved it. Its also right across frrom the zoo. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

close to tube and sbahn stations, breakfast has amazing variety and the service was amazing. the elevators are a little sketchy but other than that it was an amazing stay! spa (pool) was small but good.

Amazing stay in Berlin. It's within walking distance of many restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff is lovely, rooms and hotel are gorgeously decorated. See you again soon!

I spent with my family the whole last week in the Palace Hotel. Everything worked excellant. Great Personnel. I was especially surprise by their attention given to make sure we felt comfortable (e.g. Mr. R.T). I will visit again while in Berlin.

Absolutely stunning hotel! Me and my wife spent a couple of nights after our marriage there. Got our suite upgraded to a senior suite and a free champagne as a gift! Amazing service, super professional and friendly service all around the clock. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection and atmosphere. The house of gin attached to the hotel is also definetly worth a visit if you're staying in the hotel. Overall great trip and we had an amazing time, thank you!

I didn't stay in the hotel but rather attended a conference. But I have to say this was exceptionally well organized at the hotel. The food and drink was great and the staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a conference. And during the Christmas time, great location since the Christmas market at Breitscheidplatz is right near by.

The rooms were great and the service was on point switching out our down beddings and supplying an iron in short time. The 'spa' was pretty underwhelming with a single cold-ish pool. And the gym is a typical hotel gym, so don't expect any free weights. My second, bigger sore point was the breakfast. We are vegan and told the reception upon check-in and they said that it wouldn't be a problem. At the breakfast (which was massive) however there was practically nothing vegan. We talked to 4 different staff and were told that we could eat bread with marmalade and they had a single unflavoured soy-gurt. There was no vegan cheese or any such alternatives, or if there were then the staff didn't know of it. The most annoying part was that the staff didn't seem to know what was in the food themselves and pointed us towards clearly non-vegan foods like Nutella and milk-yogurt with fruit flavour until corrected by us or some other staff. Basically any breakfast-open restaurant nearby would have been better for us.

Thank you for a fantastic stay! Nice smell clean rooms, top class furnitures, including a great bed, top advanced light controlling, great great breakfast at the hotel. Super service from nice people at the hotel. They really did there best every time, both at the restaurant and in the lobby. No doubt we will be back!

One of the best hotels ive stayed in. The attention to detail in each room is amazing. From the futurist technology to the luxury cotton on the sheets. Gone are the days of a light switch, you now have a touch panel, where lights are controlled, LED back lighting is controlled and central air is controlled. Should you not like the pillows in the room, not to worry you have different options to choose from. Quality bedding and the most comfortable bed you could ever imagine. Smart TV allows many viewing options. The staff are super friendly and always willing to go the extra step, royal treatment indeed. The room service was the quickest ive experienced, a meal was ordered and arrive in less than 30 minutes. The attention to detail of the presentation of the food on the plate, makes you feel like you eating at a Michelin star restaurant but in the comfort of your room. Excellent hotel, 100 Stars!

Very pleased with this hotel. We were booked to travel from Canada in June, but due to COVID-19, our flights got cancelled, and we could not make it. The hotel immediately issued a refund. No hustle. Good job and very happy with your service. When we plan to revisit Berlin, we will make sure we will stay with you as a thank you for your kindness.

Not very well considered service; had to email and then ask three more times for a double bed to be split into a twin. Otherwise has a gym, pool, decent location and is clean and quiet. A reasonable option for the west of berlin

So I stayed here for 8 nights. The rooms and hotel are initially impressive and comfortable. I loved the smart tv ability to connect to my phone but if you log in to your account on the tv for YouTube, it forgets you the next day… logging in with a remote is tiring. Like any place the issues develop over time. I think by night 5 my back wasn’t doing well. I brought my own pillow but each time I left their pillows on the bed I regretted it. They are a size that is unwieldy and so thin that you want to fold them in half but then that doesn’t feel comfortable. The shower was lame. No strength at all. The spa is nice but it is one pool and so the whirlpool is not hot but the same temp as the regular pool…

We stayed here a couple of times and each time it was great. Nice cocktails at the bar, pool was never overcrowded and breakfast selection is awesome. We live in Berlin, but come here when we want a little spa staycation.

Everything was good except the cleanliness of the room, I had dust everywhere and the carpet was not properly cleaned. The hotel was full of people as major congress happened at the same time, and the location is in a busy area. Very close there is a very nice park with amazing views and you can walk and run there.

Central location, right next to Berlin Zoo. Comfy bed and the room was nicely furnished. It was also very quiet, both day and night. Staff were friendly. On the downside our AC didn't work, so the room was quite toasty at night. We tried the pool, but it was too cool to be considered a spa bath, a bit better for exercise swimming, I guess. The hotel was problably luxurious in the 90s, when I am sure it was built, but seemed a bit outdated in the furnishings, especially the corridors.

Berlin hotels' price are competitive due to the high supply, and Hotel Palace Berlin is one of the most expensive in the city. It is well located and the hotel itself has a long history. The room is nice and quite large in size. However, I believe that I can have the same experiment in the others other with a lower price.

Great location! Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The rooms are spotless and comfy, they have many amenities. Maybe a little too warm, but that's the only criticism. Room service was excellent. People are very courteous and helpful.

An excellent hotel in the heart of the city. Very gentle staff. Perfect service. Clean and well decorated rooms. The hotel is very close to the must see places of the city of Berlin. The breakfast is delicious and great.

Reception staff were slow and not very attentive. The corridors are old and like from the shining. The room was nice and the staff cleaning the rooms were very good. The house of gin attached was very expensive house gin and tonic from a 1.5 liter of cheap tonic was 14.50. also you have to pay to use sauna ripoff. We never received ice to the room after asking. Overall I'd not visit again

I would say this hotel doesn’t reach 4 stars but rather 3.9 Not exactly 3 stars but also not 4 stars. These are my issues with this hotel. The a/c does not work properly and if you want to open the window to get some fresh air, the windows do not open fully it’s a slight crack and not enough to get some fresh air in, therefore the room stays very hot. The front desks resolution was to offer me a fan for my room, but fans are not good for me because they make me congested so I’m basically sleeping in a hot room. On top of everything the fan kept falling because it was cheap and wobbly. As far as cleanliness goes, it is very average. I definitely saw one hair in the sink upon arrival to my room. The shower floor seems to be permanently dirty. No complimentary water upon check in. The staff isn’t rude but they are also not welcoming and check in experience was extremely underwhelming. Breakfast was not included with my stay. It is 35 euros per person. The breakfast was not worth it either because it was so basic and tasteless.

Very nice room. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. Meatballs were very tasty. WiFi was fine. There was not many options for English TV, logging into netflix didn't work as different country. YouTube also only displayed German options. Lots of things close by, walking distance.

Doesn’t look special on the outside but don’t worry, it has all the amenities of a high end hotel. Especially the oh so important staff. Big kudos to their collective impeccable service!! Only blemish on our stay was the heat, given the energy crisis going on it doesn’t sit well when you have to turn on the airco in October to have an acceptable temperature in the room.

Wonderful venue in the heart of Berlin, great ensemble. The flair and the magical atmosphere were simply indescribable. I can't wait to be back there.

We stayed two adults and one five yeqrs old child at the buisness premium for 8 nights. This is an ideal hotel for families, very comfortable room (buisnss premium rooms were renovated at 2016), excellent location and in general very good value for money.

Really classy hotel in a perfect location next to the major transport hub at the Zoo. The room was surgically clean on arrival. All modern features and fittings including USB outlets beside the bed and a rain shower. The pool/spa area is nice and was the ideal tonic after a long day sight seeing. The staff at reception couldn't have been more pleasant either. Loads of cafes, restaurants and rooftop bars within a few minutes walk too all around the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. If/when we return to Berlin we will definitely look to stay here again.

Friendly, helpful staff, nice rooms, clean, covid measures taken throughout which meant lobby bar was closed and gin bar only open from 6pm. Covid aside I would definitely return.
