Also alles neu holen. Gleiches Spiel beim nächsten kurzen Gang zum Buffet. Ansonsten ist das Angebot beim Frühstück völlig in Ordnung. Es wurde auch schnell nachgelegt.

We were in room 904 for five nights and had an incredible stay. The view from the balcony was amazing and we witnessed some amazing sunrises over East Berlin. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Wifi was fast by German standards. The shower was very good, too. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, although at 20 euros per person, such a good high standard should be expected. The location was very convenient, just a couple of minutes walk to the Friedrich Strasse station.

I stayed 2 nights in this very centrally located hotel. It is only about 200 m from Friedrichstrasse railway station - so you can get there by train from the airport. Everything is near this hotel. I had a nice, clean and very quiet room with a good bed. The breakfast was maybe a little bit over the average. The service was good. There are good restaurants and bars nearby. I could come again!

Both the location and the service are great. We arrived on a rainy day, and the possibility to borrow an umbrella was a great help. The room is small but tidy. The design / arrangement of the toilet and the shower is very smart; the toilet, shower and the sink can be separate with just one door. There is a heating lamp outside of the shower, which is very helpful to keep you warm when coming out of shower. Highly recommended!

Most horrible hotel experience in my life! 1) Zero comfort and health damage: after one week in this hotel for a business trip, I am going back home with a "horrible back pain"! sleeping in the car would be more comfortable than sleeping on their thin and damaged mattresses! mattress and pillows with the worst quality and condition ever... I would rather slept on floor to save my back pain! I already complained to the reception desk, All the people behind me in the queue were having the same problem, and the solution was to put a 'wooden board" under one side of the mattress (see photos please)...I have never slept so bad in my life. I was in a hundreds of hotels (all categories) for business and leisure trips in more than 54 countries, but this kind of bad mattresses and beds was extremely disappointing. Camping on the floor would be much more healthier. I already took an appointment by the orthopedic doctor. 2) never a 4* Hotel: very tiny room with primitive furniture, the decoration is appearing to resemble an hour motel, they are going low budget in everything, saving money in every corner. I don't know how they got the four stars. the bathroom was stinking for the first two days, after complaining twice, they have fixed it. the walls are very thin with bad soundproofing. the elevators were twice out of order. 3) breakfast with an extreme low quality, really overpriced, would never pay more than 5 euros for it .. 4) service: in general rude personnel at the reception (with some exceptions), only one positive thing was the cleaning personnel, which was trying to make a good job. summary: I will avoid this hotel for life, and I will get in contact with my company and the doctor to deal with the caused back pains... And if I ever break down somewhere in the middle of nowhere and a Leonardo Hotel is the only one nearby, I'll think long and hard about whether I'd rather spend the night in the car. I would recommend every one I know to avoid this hotel.

I am definitely disappointed with this hotel. It's supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but I just don't see it. It might have been a 4-star hotel in the 90s. Safe to say, it is VERY outdated. The exterior of the hotel looks very nice and modern. The lobby, bar, and restaurant seem decent. The room, boy, is another story. The hotel management must've hired a very expensive photographer to take photos for their website. Because their website photos look great. Issues with the elevator: There are 3 guest elevators and only 2 were in working order the entire time we stayed there (3 nights). There were times when we saw lines formed for people to get on the elevators. Issues with our room: "Superior Room" - The layout was very strange to me. The bed was to the right when you walk in the room, with the bathroom and the desk to the left side of the room. The desk is tucked in the corner right outside the bathroom. I've never seen a hotel room layout like this. - Bathroom shower was leaking water out of the enclosure. (pictures attached) Bath towels were very thin and flat, which would indicate them being old and overused towels. The hotel probably should purchase new towels. Also, the bathroom sink is less than ideal. If you don't turn the faucet on at least medium power, it will leak and drip outside of the basin (meaning the basin is not placed properly on the counter). - Pillows were very, very flat. FLAT FLAT FLAT. - The hard floor had a strange dent near the door; like a small piece of the floor got scraped up. And there's this weird reddish filling where the dent was. It almost looked like congealed blood. That was a little disturbing. I should've taken a photo, but forgot. - Housekeeping person came up to us when we left the room to ask if we needed housekeeping. Not sure why they would even need to ask as we'd already put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. Overall, everything in the room just looked old, outdated, and needed refreshing. And this was an upgrade from my original booking. I can't imagine what it would've been like to have a smaller/less "superior" room. I will say that it is in a very good location. Very close to the S+U Bahn / public transportation. But otherwise, I really can't agree that it's a 4-star hotel.

👍Good hotel. Good location. Beautiful park nearby. Bed is comfortable. Room was cleaned properly every day. Towels are good. I did not have body lotion in room. Hairdryer not so efficient for long hair. No hair conditioner. But ... They provide tea, instant coffee and hot chocolate powder in the room for self-made. 🫖🤷Breakfast was not so good as expected. I travel a lot and usually in hotels of this price category breakfast is better. Omelette is not tasty at all (maybe it is made not from fresh eggs, but from the powder, I am not sure, but taste was really strange). Not enough choice of yogurts. The rest is Ok.

I do not recommend this hotel because it does not offer adequate comfort and service. A hotel must first of all offer a comfortable mattress and a quality pillow. In this hotel, the mattress is thin, springy, and uncomfortable. The pillow is also of poor quality. Another aspect that bothered me was the fact that the cleaning staff squeezed me twice into the elevator to get in with 2 housekeeping carts and the other items. Breakfast, even if the offer is an average variety, it is less tasty. If you pay for the accommodation with your own money (that is, you are not on a business trip), then I strongly recommend looking for another hotel.

Wifi barely works in my room on second floor. The toilet smells. And I had a whole issue trying to get something as simple as a bottle of water to my room. This is not a four star hotel.

Great hotel in a great location. Staff are extremely professional and helpful. The hotel goes to good steps to maintain environmental friendliness. Rooms were clean and quiet. Location phenomenal, close to shops, restaurants, and Friedrichstraße Bahnhoff.

Really good stay. Room was reasonably priced and very spacious (our room fit 3 people). There weren't many cupboard/drawer spaces but this wasn't a problem for us. Location is brilliant- short 5 min walk to the station which takes you directly to Berlin Airport. We unfortunately heard about items getting stolen from the rooms so decided not to get our room cleaned because of this- so cannot comment on the cleaning service due to this. All other staff at reception were friendly and helpful though.

First of all no phone signal in the hotel, no internet on the phone. The wifi is disconnecting and very slow. Very small room. Not suitable for two people. Bathroom door is nit working. If someone moves in the next rooms, our bathroom door will loudly open. There is a bad noise from the refrigerator. Bed is extremely low quality: the mattress breaks your spine. From three elevator only one is working. Housekeeping manager is better not to ask questions, cause she replies shouting and rudely. Positive thing is that is in the centre and the shampoo has a nice smell. The bathroom itself is nice, the water flows normally.

Chose to stay here based on my previous experience in Munich. Leonardo came with some quality in my vague memory, but here in Berlin, it really felt like a dead town. The beds are comfortable but the room design is very compact and overwhelming. Not much space to move around in the room; I also found it difficult to make peace with my open luggage and the space in the room. There was no room service or restaurant which was really a bummer for someone who is on the work trip. 20 Euro Breakfast was another disappointment; everything tasted old. The staff in general also were not very friendly, only when I was checking out they were wearing a big smile to ask how my stay was; rest of the time they were not really present. Overall, I rate this hotel 7 out of 10.

Great location not a great hotel. A decent rate but you are really paying for the close proximity of all of the attractions of Berlin. We spent 3 days in Berlin and never took a taxi and were able to see all of the major tourist spots. The rooms have A/C but only barely. Don’t get the breakfast option, it’s not worth it, instead go out in town and enjoy the local food.

Quite and clean room. The location is superb. All basic necessities are there. The staff were thoughtful and helpful. Even when i did not request for a room clean, cleaning staff came and clean without being requested. 0 issues with my stay.

Cons - Tiny beds pushed together with pillows so flat and terrible that they can barely be considered a pillow. I don't know how you're going to try to charge me $12 for a tiny little cocktail and $22 for breakfast when my bed is the bed that you would be sleeping on in a homeless shelter. Paper thin walls, I can literally hear everything in the next room. Two elevators that are slow and small. Hotel patrons are all rich and pompous Pros - Spectacular front desk people and very friendly staff all around. Very nice location. Decent shower. Bathroom has a door which is a nice change of pace. Free water in room and tasty coffee .

Miss Clemente was outstanding, as always! The stuff are very caring and thoughtful, but she just stands out with going that extra mile. We have been stopping at Leonardo for years now during our visits to Berlin. Would definitely recommend as the location is just so central and close to public transport.

For a 4-star hotel, I expected more. Bed was a bit weird, very compact room. Friendly staff. Elevator is a disaster, as it doesn’t comport the amount of traffic hotel has. Location is great, walking distance from many places. Also, I put a “do-not disturb” sign on my door so it doesn’t get cleaned while I m away, and then when I come back…the room was cleaned and organized , which is great and I appreciate it, but if I have put the “do-not disturb” sign, please just don’t take it off. Overall, good stay, but I would have wished for more given the price paid.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff, especially Stefanie, were kind and very helpful. The hotel feels luxurious at an affordable price. The beds are comfortable. Important locations are within walking distance. And we enjoyed jogging in the morning along the river. We would definitely return here.

Cold hospitality, hotel bar constantly closed! no room service. Boiling water in the bathroom, it was difficult to take a shower, tiny room and there was no courtesy kit, I strongly advise against it. For a 4 star it is unacceptable, last thing, the few times I found the bar open during the 4 days of my stay I had to pay the purchase price! I've never seen something like this, what's more I had my wallet in the room and the bartender made me go back to get it on the fourth floor rather than add €5 to the room bill! I HOPE YOU CLOSE.

Just got back from four nights in room 134 so what did we think?? The location was perfect, the staff friendly and the breakfast varied and the whole place is obviously well ran and organised. The room (superior) was just OK - The windows did not open and it was VERY hot in the room even with the air conditioning on full. Did not like the soft pillows at all and two quilts was unusual (Definitely a new one on us!!) Only one English TV channel (news) - Not a problem but nice to have when you get some downtime. Would stay again and do recommend - Mainly because of the really excellent location which makes it easy to get anywhere in the city.

Fabulous hotel, great location, lovely staff. My room was brilliant, loved watching the sun coming up over Berlin from my balcony. Breakfast was delicious do try the vegan wurst and drool worthy vegan egg salad is a must. Oh and must NOT forget cocktails at the bar, fantastic start to the evening

We enjoyed our stay at Leonardo Hotel. The location where the hotel is situated is most ideal, central and near public transportation. The breakfast is a 7 on a scale of 1 tot 10. A minor issue: when checking out, the person at the reception did not speak English. The answers were consistently in German as it was quite obvious that my questions were in English.

brand new hotel, beautiful design, the best location in berlin and great value for money!

  • 4/5 Scott T. 6 months ago on Google
A couple of basics missing. The WiFi is a non-password internet with a very poor connection rate. Devices are constantly thrown out and need to attempt rejoining. For a hotel with 9 floors, a low bandwidth is just unacceptable. There is no cell phone service on this square, which makes having WiFi even more important. Our room was full of furniture, cluttered. If this type of room is going to be provided, think about reducing the uses of it, such as removing the large desk and chair. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were odd. Breakfast buffet was pleasant with a large range of food and wide range of seating area. Finally, I find having two elevators for such a large hotel very odd. They also frustrate by going straight passed the floor that you're on and then returning, taking up to 10 minutes to receive.

Excellent hotel, very clean and rooms have all you need. I booked this because of it’s good connectivity to the airport and the railway station. Staff is very friendly. Only minus is that the wifi is much slower than you’d expect from this kind of hotel, so I wouldn’t take any video calls from here. Perhaps it was a temporary issue.

Location is great. Rooms smell like poop. Poor ventilation. Definitely drains have problems. Beds are old. My bed has stains that can be seen through bed sheets. Reason can be the cheapest thin bedsheets though. Breakfast is also quite poor. You can get a better deal for this money.

  • 3/5 Robert H. 2 years ago on Google
The current high 4.3 rating is - from my perspective - hard to understand and here is why Rooms 2 of 5. we stayed in a standard room. the bed is uncomfortable and the room is very small. The bathroom is larger - renovation hasn’t been done in a while. The rooms are not noise proof. You can clearly hear what’s going on in other rooms. Location 5 of 5. great location near friedrichstrasse. Staff friendliness. 4 of 5. they are helpful and check-in was quick. Ambience. 2 of 5. it is early 2000ts chic and outdated. The lifts are slow and one was not even working. Lobby chairs have severe usage signs and need to be replaced. Price - 4 of 5. it is indeed a cheaper hotel in Berlin but I’d go rather for alternatives next time. Breakfast. No basis.

The hotel is good and well located, but unfortunately there was an episode in which the girl at the bar dismissed us saying that they had closed earlier in the day. 15 minutes later she was normally serving a couple. But don't worry, probably if you're European you won't have the same problem as we did.

Firstly, the location of this hotel was excellent. We visited the city for the Marathon from the UK. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was what we expected. We travelled for the first time with our baby and in order to have 3 in a room you have to book a bigger room for a travel cot. This was fine but be advised not bath. This made it incredibly difficult to wash our little one properly but she now knows what the shower is all about. Be careful as sometimes the water temperature can change from hotter to colder when running. Room appeared clean. The bed was average comfort. Pillows were awful. In a double bed but we had 2 single covers. In a way it worked out as nobody could hog the quilt lol. 😆 Not a lot of room for storage or hanging stuff for such a big room. We didn’t have a view so cannot comment. Breakfast available there but didn’t eat on site as we wanted to experience the local food out. Convenient walk to a multitude of places. Would probably stay here again simply due to location and it was quiet.

You can lower our higher the room temperature but not simple and no thermostat. Room was far too hot for my likely and it was not a warm day or night. Hotel reply. You can turn it off! Why? I posted it was too hot. Add a thermostat so guests can set a temperature

  • 5/5 Tomer Y. 1 year ago on Google
Great location, minutes walk from the train station and the supermarket that is there. Also next to some restaurants and pubs just on the river. The room was clean and was getting cleaned everyday. Only downside was the view, which is attached as a picture in the review (not sure about the view from other rooms!) Will visit again when in Berlin.

  • 4/5 Mark F. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel was fantastic and the location is excellent. Our only problem was that the shower in our room could not be adjusted for temperature. But, the staff moved us to another room right away and that addressed our problem. My only complaint was that the bar was not open at all and the breakfast was too expensive for what you got. I understand the measures necessary for fighting Covid-19, but to not have any bar service at all was disappointing. The fact that so many other places were available right there in the immediate vicinity softened the effect of the hotel bar being closed, but my wife and I always like having a nice "one last" drink at our hotel before going to bed each day, plus it allows us to become more familiar with the staff. Fantastic hotel, though, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin.

Hotel Leonardo was just wonderful, centrally located, near bars and a train station. The reception staff is professional and courteous. The breakfast was wonderful and the dining room staff was really kind and answered all our requests. The room was spacious and room service was always available. The hotel was located really close to the race point and it really helped.

The hotel is comfortable, clean, and in a good location. The cleaning personnel was very careful with our objects (work laptop, notes, books, etc.) and clothes, and did a really good job! On a less positive note, internet connection is deficient and unreliable. The pillows (not the pillowcases) are a bit too old and run down.

  • 2/5 Julianna Y. 2 years ago on Google
For such rooms and interiors it is expensive. You need to wait for the elevator for 10-15 minutes. The staircase leads only to the street! The bar is not working. Well, it's better to go eat breakfast in the city, because, at the hotel, 20 euros for breakfast is too much!!!! I advise you to look for another option.

  • 4/5 Elke S. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel has a great location in the middle of Berlin- close to a good S-Bahn station, many tourist attractions and great restaurants and cafés. Our room was very spacious and quiet with all the amenities needed for a short stay. The hotel staff were also friendly and helpful. The only minus would be the duvets on the bed- they are quite small and thin in comparison to the nice large bed.

  • 5/5 Amina M. 1 year ago on Google
Great location! Couldn't be any better, many historical landmarks are within walkable distance (1.3-1.8 miles). Close proximity to Friedrichstraße and Unter den Linden Avenue. Just outside of the hotel, at the end of the street is a pub if you'd like to have something to eat or drink. Staff is kind and respectful

  • 3/5 R. E. 1 year ago on Google
Positive first: Great location. near S + Ubahn, walking distance to many interesting points. good shower. Air condition working fine. Our three biggest issues were: The bed is awful and the pillows too. Not much space to store clothes or anything. Tiny closet. We had two large suitcases and we had to put them on the floor in the middle of the room. Don't believe that first picture on the reviews. But the worse was the "cleaning" service. On the first day, they just folded the comforters. no changing of sheets or at least remove any hairs or anything on the sheets. On another day, dropped a pumpkin seed of something I was eating. when we came back the same seed was on the floor. Then I guy came to our room to replace the soap and I asked him if he was in charge of cleaning... he just walked away. So after noticing cleanliness is not their forte, I put the " do not disturb: sign; They had the have nerve to slip a paper saying that you "opted" to decline service.

Disaster!!! Just horrible!!! Nightmare!!! This hotel has ruined my holiday. The air conditioning cannot be turned off. The personell does not take your complaints into consideration. Relatively clean, but could not sleep because of the noise of the air conditioning. Imagine, nights in holiday with zero sleep.

This is a lovely, modern hotel. The rooms are a little small though. It's well located, close to public transport, lost of good restaurants and the shopping district. Tourists will not go wrong by making this a base from which to explore Berlin. They serve a lovely buffet breakfast.

The hotel is comfortable, clean and well-located. It’s really close to Friedrichstraße station and there are several places to eat close to the hotel. The service is also great. We always could count with excellent recommendations from the concierge, who was really helpful and gentle.

Service and the hotel was perfect, the location was very good and a few minutes walk from the train. The only thing that i can comment about is the size of the room that we got, it was room number 342 and it was very small for a couple.

  • 3/5 Ken B. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel was just fine. I would not really rank it as a 4 star hotel. It feels very corporate, and lacking some basic amenities, like an ice machine. A small detail, yes, but a fairly standard item in most good hotels. There was a fitness center advertised, but it was locked up, and when we enquired about the sauna, we we were told that it was an extra fee to use it. Also, the construction of the hotel made our room very noisy when the housekeeping was cleaning the rooms next to us. The walls would literally move with the loud banging early in the morning. The room was perfectly clean, with a nice balcony, and a good view. The staff was friendly, too. We stayed 4 nights. The location is excellent, and the rooms are clean. Very comfortable bed, too!

The hotel was located in a great spot, right by the station and surrounded by great restaurants, bars and shops! Also a great walking distance from pretty much everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast was also really good offering a lot of variety and running from 6:30-10:30 gave us plenty of time. Now the negatives … the room itself was quite warm and we weren’t able to adjust the temp. The bed was ok but the pillows were awful! We struggled so much to get comfortable. The staff, whilst pretty much everyone was lovely and welcoming, one lady whose name I didn’t get unfortunately was miserable, rude, un-helpful and very sarcastic! Just no need, appreciate she might not have wanted to be working New Year’s Eve but no need to take it out in your customers! Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Mitte means centre in German. You can't go wrong with this location, everything is within 20mins walking distance. There is a train station just 4mins walk from the hotel. The rooms are decent, clean and staff is friendly. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel and its next to the river. My friends and I stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the hotel for 12 days and were very satisfied. The hotel has a good atmosphere and feels very homey. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast buffet. There is a great variety of restaurants within walking distance. If you are interested in culture, you can walk to many museums and theatres. The shopping street Friedrichstrasse is just few minutes away. Public transportation is also just around the corner.

This hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel. The decor in the actual rooms is dated. The beds are super springy and sunken. The pillows are like sad old flapjacks and barely support themselves let alone your head. The guest room level corridors smell like mildew. The elevator situation is a complete disaster with only two of the three elevators in service and are shared by a zillion guests as well as housekeeping. Perhaps 15 years ago this hotel was okay, but it is not great anymore. If your looking for a meh/so so place to stay that is in a great location, this place is for you. If your looking for an actual 4 star or higher hotel…then I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
