I have been a guest in that hotel 3 times. The last time was in August and this time was the last. The good thing about the hotel and actually the only reason for visiting last time was the good location. The first visit to the hotel was good. The second and third time was a big disappointment. The rooms are hardly cleaned at all, the bedclothes are not changed, new towels are not brought. We left two trash bags on the floor of the room, which contained take away food boxes, etc. The bags were not taken away even though we went to tell them about it. The reason given was that the trash bags should have been on the floor of the hallway and not on the floor next to the trash can. there were also water bottles, cans, etc. on the table throughout the visit. We went to the respa and told them that the room had not been cleaned. The reason why the room was not cleaned at all on the last day was that the cleaner had marked in his calendar that our room would not be cleaned! Incredible action from a "four star" hotel! Also on the previous two occasions I had allergic reactions from the room. I noticed my nose was always blocked, my eyes watered and I coughed.

It offers free parking but beware as you’ll have to go up at least 12 levels in a narrow parking structure which is risky and senseless every time you go in an out. Great bathroom, bed was just okay. Reception team members think they’re too smart when they’re not.

we stayed here for 3 nights last week and were very happy with everything. Our room was spotlessly clean and every morning, by the time we had returned from breakfast, our room had been cleaned, the beds made and fresh towels supplied. We were eating out with family so didn't use the restaurant for evening meals, but had breakfast every day. The choice of food on offer was excellent and everything was fresh and of good quality. The staff at this hotel were also very helpful and friendly, especially those on the reception area and in the bar. Nothing was too much trouble when we asked for help. I would definitely come back here again.

We visited Berlin for a Weekend Trip and decided to stay at the Riu Plaza Hotel in Berlin - the Rooms are nice and clean aswell as the Breakfast and the Service. The Location is great perfect to explore the city. The included Parking in the Car Park sealed the deal for us, we definitely wanna come back soon!

Very helpful and friendly staff! The room for 2 people was spacious and had a stunning view over the city. The toilet and shower were in separate rooms which I liked; the room was also very clean and easy accessible. Another plus is the parking garage which is accessible through an elevator, which makes parking very easy even though this hotel is located right in the city center. The breakfast was rich and came with a huge selection. Again, the staff was very aware and welcoming. Definitely recommended, also because the hotel is in the vicinity of different metro stations as well as the main station.

I forgot my wallet in a CLOSED safe in the room, after I checked all my stuff several times just make sure I called the hotel, after back and forward commutation they wrote that they OPENED THE CLOSED safe and it was empty.. big disappointment in the middle of my vocation as well as the hotel have 4 stars and I paid quit high amount for 2 nights.. complaint letter is sent.

This hotel is super cool, clean and the staff were fantastic! We asked to change rooms and the staff were more then accommodating towards me and my friends needs. It is located in the perfect location and really easy to get to via public transport.

Super gut gelegen - nur wenige Minuten entfernt von der nächsten U-Bahnstation und vom KaDeWe. Sehr modern und komfortabel eingerichtet - schönes Design. Klasse Frühstück - alles, was das Herz begehrt. Zugang zum Hotel vom Parkhaus nicht ganz einfach. Alles in allem aber empfehlenswert.

I have used many hotels and this has to be one of the best. Room was lovely with underfloor heating in the bathroom , with a large modern shower. Beds were comfortable and it wasn’t too noisy. Breakfast has to be one of the very best , other hotels need to come here and see how it is done properly but it can be hectic as it’s popular.

Modernes Hotel in guter Lage. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, wir wurden auf das kostenlose Parken im "angeschlossen" Parkhaus hingewiesen (Übergang vom Parkhaus ins Hotel befindet sich auf der 12. Parketage). Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sehr sauber und klimatisiert (die Klimaanlage war relativ leise) , das Bad sehr ansprechend mit abgetrennter Toilette und ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten. Und das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Herzlichen Dank auch an das tolle Hotelpersonal für den sehr guten Service.

Top Lage, Zimmer sind groß genug und auch schön sauber wie das ganze Hotel. Parkplatz ist inklusive (Parkhaus ist nebenan und mit ein Durchgang verbunden mit dem Hotel) Frühstück war 1A. Mittagessen und Abendessen haben wir nicht genutzt ist aber möglich.

Splendid Hotel! Their staff is amazing (all of them), and they go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and enjoy the stay. Breakfast was good and convenient. Their dry cleaning services were fantastic! Their location is great and their parking garage too. The view was lovely and their beds were super comfortable.

Das Riu Plaza Hotel ist vom Zoologischen Garten zu Fuß ganz gut erreichbar. Wir hatten ein Zimmer auf der 12. Etage. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hatte einen Tollen Ausblick. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Bei unserem nächsten Berlin Besuch werden wir definitiv wieder kommen.

Noah at the front desk was extraordinary. We are from the US so we were a long way from home, thanks to Noah my son loved our stay at Riu Berlin. He was so nice to my son and so interactive he truly felt like a long lost family member. In this day and age great customer service is so hard to find, but Noah is a reminder that people still love their job and care about providing GREAT experiences for guests. Noah was the best part of our stay in Berlin he was trying to amazing.

I enjoyed this hotel. The reception was gracious to fix a problem during my check in from the 3rd party agency I booked with (which I would not do again). The location was awesome, walking distance to KaDeWe, lots of restaurants with good food in the area. I chose a room in the back on the 6th floor. It was nice and quiet. The rooms are spacious with a mini refridgerator. There is tea and instant coffee in the room. The beds are comfortable but the pillows have hardly any feathers I had to put two pillows together so I could rest my head properly. If your English speaking they only have 3 stations, CNN, BBC, and a movie station that pops in-n out and is impossible to watch. For such a modern hotel the TV is not smart, and is very archaic like going back 20 years ago.

We had great time. Such a beatiful hotel to stay in Berlin. So clean and breakfast is copletely wonderfull. Hotel has a very good location. Located next to city centre and all turistic places to see. Hope to see again.

A nice stay in Berlin, close to bus and metro stations. The rooms are large, nice and clean. The fact that an average of 500 people have breakfast every day is hardly noticeable. And should the shore be a bit crowded with people, Despina and her colleagues will make sure you have a big smile at breakfast.

Hotel in good location, another advantage is free parking. Service very poor, hospitality is very low unless you are Spanish. Definitely need renovation, now it looks like bit used 3* hotel. With reception desk service at 1*

Great hotel and location. Easy parking for your car. Breakfast was great and friendly staff. We stayed at the 13 floor, so the view was nice. Rooms are comfy and nice. A bit dusty in some areas but hey if that's all?

Modern hotel in a very good location. Our stay was generally good in a modern well appointed room with a large comfortable bed. It was also quiet as we were on a high floor. It’s a shame that attention to detail from housekeeping lets the hotel down. When we arrived in the room the complimentary bottle of water had already been opened - not a good sign of general attention to detail and hygiene. Moreover the tv remote control was covered in dust. The in room fridge smelled as soon as we opened it and had orange coloured stains inside. The shower gel was allowed to run out after our first night. We got a replacement container from reception and changed it ourselves. At no point in the following days was the old empty container removed from the shelf in the shower area. A couple of other niggles included towels that are not if the quality or a size to be expected of a good 4 star hotel and the lack of a TV channel guide. Breakfast which we had included was quite good and varied .

We stayed at this hotel in October for four days. The stay was OK until we encountered the rudest bar staff on the Saturday. Prior to that other bar staff had been wonderful. What a shame the staff on the Saturday afternoon ruined our stay. The General Manager has not responded to my emailed complaint. Will not be returning!

Just recently completed a stay at the Riu Plaza Berlin for 3 nights. I am a solo, leisure, but experienced traveler and this was my first time coming to Berlin. This hotel is located in a GREAT location: one block away from the U-bahn, bus stops, plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs, and attractions. If you feel comfortable figuring out and using public transportation - this place is EASILY accessible to all of the major tourist attractions in Berlin and the airport, hands down. This gives you an opportunity to see different parts of Berlin without necessarily having to stay in the middle of museum district - if that is something that interests you when visiting a new city. The surrounding vicinity feels very safe as well. The hotel itself is also very nice!! I was pleasantly surprised by the decent size of the standard room I booked and the views from the 13th floor toward the city were magnificent! The shower pressure is amazing with a sky shower that you almost don't want to get out of - however a word of caution here for those traveling in pairs or families - the bathrooms were designed without a door or privacy (only a small room for the toilet, at least this was the case for the room I stayed in) but the shower is a glass door that is visible to anyone else in the room who may be passing by the bathroom to leave or enter the room. This was not an issue for me as a solo traveler, but I'm sure it's something that can bother some people who desire more privacy or who are sharing rooms or if traveling with kids. Cleanliness: Overall I was satisfied with the cleanliness. I am not extremely picky as long as all the basic things are taken care of (disinfected bathroom, clean linen, clean surfaces) and that was all met here. Food and Beverage: Excellent! I really felt that the breakfast option has a really great value for your money, a variety of options for all tastes and diets, and just overall very satisfying to start your day. The f&b staff is also very attentive and friendly!! The front desk team members were also very pleasant to interact with when I checked in and when I had one or two requests for laundry service and I noticed that they are a multi-lingual team so that is always a plus.

Nice, clean and modern property. Free parking in adjacent garage. Situated on the U2 metro line, which operates the most Berlin´s highlights. Within 15 min. walk from the ZOO. Comfortable rooms, very well equipped. Great staff. Excellent breakfast. Overall it provides a very pleasant stay.

Good location close to the subway and only 3 stations from the Brandenburger Tor. The parking is included in the price which would normally cost 23€ a night. The room is very modern and spacious but the bed is very unstable! Even though the parking is included the hotel is more on the expensive side. Solid place to stay in order to explore Berlin. Sadly for 130€ a night you don't get breakfast.

Hotel staff was so friendly! They were very patient while I spoke the best German I could and only switched to English to give me important instructions. I thought that was nice of them since I realize that they aren’t my personal language tutors. The hotel room itself was very nice especially for the price.

Great hotel with beautiful rooms and kingsize beds! You can walk in 5 minutes to the metro or supermarket. Also there is a free parking garage where you can walk directly to the hotel. I don't give it 5 stars because the room wasn't clean (spiderwebs and dirt on the headboard of the bed) and the restaurant was only open till 10 o clock for food. It was possible to grab a simple sandwich like they have on the high way, however I personally prefer a nice cafe or restaurant with simple dishes so you feel welcome.

Everything is perfect in the RİU PLAZA HOTEL ,Great location, nice hotel ,the room facilities and the hotel is located are great and perfect.the rooms are so comfortable and clean and the most important thing for me is breakfast which is fantastic at this hotel .... thank you for everything think.... absolutely I will be here whenever I come back to Berlin...

Excellent organised place, luxurious and well placed in the heart of Berlin. If you do not bother walking 30 minute crossing Tiergarten central park and reaching the main attractions and museums by foot, then you do not need public transport too much.

Good place to stay in Berlin. Our room was spacey and clean. The location is good to explore the city by foot. I mean, if you are not worried about walking some distance. The staff is friendly and experienced. There is a parking garage available, too We stayed there two times and will come back for sure if we go to Berlin again.

A very comfortable hotel with good food. Room was excellent with spectacular views over the City. Close to the bud tour routes and handy for underground and local bus services. Berlin has no single centre but this hotel is well located for most of the main sites. It’s also bang in the middle of the gay district if that’s your thing.

Spent 3 nights, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Early check in was possible, room was quite big, with safe kettle and refrigerator. Gym open 24/7 with adequate equipment. Breakfast was very nice with a decent selection to choose from. Excellent location near the center, metro, shopping and parks. My only criticism is the restaurant manager in the morning with bald head tends to walk around without wearing his mask. It is a bad example to his staff who must follow covid rules but he feels exempt. However I would stay here again if opportunity arises. Thanks

Great hotel! Super clean, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast buffet. The free parking is also an amazing addition (just remember to get an emission sticker before entering the low emission zone). If you book here I highly recommend requesting a good view!

We had a little mishap with our booking but Pamina was our front desk help and she helped us out tremendously. She was incredibly helpful, speedy, accommodating and was empathetic towards our situation. She really did the best she could to make to make our experience great. The hotel room itself was wonderful and we got an amazing view of the city. Spacious and comfortable my favorite was rain shower head. Great place to stay and wish we were in Berlin for a longer stay.

We stayed at the Hotel Riu Plaza Berlin for 5 wonderful nights, We arrived late and was greeted and check in was quick. My room was a double deluxe with breakfast. The room itself was on the 12th floor it was a big room we had amazing city views, The bed was so comfortable, The air con was lovely and kept the room nice and cool during the heat wave, There was a working fridge in the room, Hair dryer, safe, coffee/tea stuff, working TV, I requested a wake up call and this was done on time. Our rooms was cleaned every day with out fuss, I would certainly stay here again next time i am in Berlin.

Huge, rather new hotel in a very good location in Berlin. The rooms are in a modern design, bright, spacious and quiet, but a little featureless, all clean and tidy. Service was friendly, breakfast buffet varied and fresh. Parking was for free on the parking deck on the backside of the hotel building.

This is a well run hotel, management constantly on their toes at breakfast time, no mucking about here the dining staff forever clearing tables. Do try the fresh coffee from the cafeteria. Reception can't do enough when asked. Rooms very clean, attended to every day by a competent crew. Which brings me to the bar, all the beer is good quality, cocktails made by the delicate hand of Regina who was amazing. Always there to talk to, but, very attentive to all customers. A very big shout out to all staff at this brilliant HOTEL.

Great location. Smart room. Right on Kurfürstendamm close to shops bars restaurants and train / bus. I asked for my feather bedding to be changed and it was done within 15 minutes. The bar staff were very nice too. We had an amazing time here. Thank you.
