A beautiful hotel! Personal are kind and willing to help! I found really interesting that on weekends, the Buffet breakfast is available up to 11:00 am as well the Vegan options in the menu. That's so convenient! It's well located. Inside the hotel there's the Check point bar-restaurant which is a good option, tasty food and nice place!

We stayed there with my wife for 2 nights. It all started and ended very well with the help of Monica at the reception, she was so kind and helpful. The location is absolutely perfect, 5 minutes to train station and ca. 10-15 minutes to Checkpoint Charlie and Tor. I strongly recommend!

Decent hotel, well located, good amenities including the swimming pool and lounge. The hotel itself is not the newest one with all the advanced features that modern technology has to offer but its a good quality 4 star hotel with fairly reasonable prices.

We loved everything about this hotel. Stayed in a presidential suite which was an extra treat. Wonderful treatment from the front staff to the cleaning crews. Everything is up to date and can only recommend. Excellent location to spend a few days or more in the city.

I stayed in this magnificent hotel with very nice services that I left today at the end of the morning. The hostesses were welcoming, attentive, helpful, smiling; that makes you feel comfortable. the same for the rest of the employees and in particular those who take care of the restaurant where we have breakfast. The only downside, at the end of the morning when returning our room cards, we came across a young dark-haired man at the reception who made us very uncomfortable: no hello, no goodbye (where did the politeness go) , closed face, hard look in his eyes and unsympathetic . We really felt like we were bothering him. Too bad to end on this bad note.

Room cleaning needs improvement as it is too dusty with the carpet. Also challenge getting someone to help you down with suitcases if you are leaving early in the morning. Lift is too busy as well ..need to consider other options to allow clients to go to their rooms quicker...

The decor and furniture is dated, but clean. I booked ghe suite which was quite large, it would make sense to make it a full one bedroom apartment ie kitchen, dining area and living room with a separate bedroom.

Wir haben einen fantastischen Tag in Berlin verbracht. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Centrum der Stadt. Von unserem Zimmer hatten wir einen tollen Blick über die Dächer von Berlin. Nachdem wir fußläufig das Brandenburger Tor, den Reichstag, das Regierungsviertel, Gendarmenmarkt besuchten, konnte wir im Schwimmbad und in der Sauna wunderbar entspannen. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Danke für die schöne Auszeit.

A wonderful hotel in every way Great location - in Berlin-Mitte - within walking distance of the main sights, restaurants, and shops. A private underground parking garage. A great, extensive breakfast. The room: spacious, large and good bed, wifi and internet, lots of storage space, safe, bar... in short, excellent. Friendly staff.

The hotel location is perfect as it is located within walking distance of several major tourist sights. The room was not too modern but very clean and neat. The price asked per night was very reasonable. Overall, highly recommended.

Immer wieder ein Genuss hierher zu kommen. Service ist super und man fühlt sich wohl. Die Decken sind nicht super gemütlich, aber dafür sind die Matratzen in Ordnung und ich bin schon eher obere Gewichtsklasse. Bad ist sauber und Teppiche sehen auch gepflegt aus. Frühstück ist ebenfalls echt super und es werden Eierspeisen frisch zubereitet.

Great location, very near the centre of town. Easy walking to most of the main attractions. The staff were helpful, allowing us to leave our bags at reception before checking in. The rooms were nice, a touch dated but perfectly decent.

Just back home from a lovely stay in Maritim proArte hotel, Beautiful hotel, room was perfect, shower in bath was very powerful 👌 beds very comfortable. Rooms were very clean, wasn't a mark on carpet in rooms and in hallways, and had beautiful pictures throughout the hotel on every wall 😍. Staff is very friendly and very polite and helpful. We didn't have breakfast because we thought €24 per person was very expensive. The vending machine had small bottle of wine that cost €6 which was very good quality.

Perfect location for private or business visits to Berlin. Easy to reach from the main train station, close to Friedrichstraße station. From here you can walk to the most important tourist destinations and still enjoy the peace and ambience. Breakfast costs a little more, but offers an ideal start to the day. In the evening, you can end the day by the pool or in the hotel's own spa. Also suitable for visits with children.

Sehr gute Lage, aber sonst Massenabfertigung. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist gut, aber das Buffet für so viele Menschen zu klein. Der Aufzug ist ein Desaster. Manchmal dauert es bis zu 15 Minuten Wartezeit, da zu wenige Aufzüge. Mein Badezimmer hat extrem nach Kanal gerochen.

Excellent location, walking distance to brandenburg Gate and checkpoint Charlie. The main station is just a 2 min walk making the hotel very accessible. The hotel is beautiful..rooms well decorated and spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable ..Hotel equipt with a pool and gym. The staff were very friendly. 2 restaurants in the hotel and a Hairdressing salon. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Berlin

This hotel is at a very good spot. You get the value for the money as you would expect. Rooms are clean, and the right size. There are plenty of options for a very good dinner or coffee. Close to U-bahn, tram and S-bahn. Good options to go for morning run.

5stars hotel very well located. 20 min walk to alexanderplatz. My room is a family suite for 2 adult and 2 children. One living room with 2 levels bed and separate room with king size bed. Big and clean. Water pressure is super. Bathroom in excellent condition. Hotel design is super with lots of art objects. Breakfast is amazing. Service also excellent!

I had been there for a business conference. The hotel is very nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. Worth to point out is the excellent food they served! Moreover it offers a great location for sightseeing in Berlin as it is very close to some of the most popular places in Germany’s capital.

We stayed for a week on a business trip. The service was good and the breakfast is definitely recommended. There are many local shops in the area & also tourist shops. The hotel is well located, easy to access and within walking distance of many landmarks.

Sehr gute Lage (zwischen Friedrichsstraße und unter den Linden) und gut zu erreichen. Check in war in 2 Minuten erledigt und das Zimmer im 5. Stock war sehr sauber. Nachts hört man logischerweise paar Geräusche (bei offenen Fenster). Frühstück mit 24€ war gut besucht, wir haben es jedoch nicht gebucht, da man für 24€ in der Gegend sicherlich interessante Möglichkeiten hat. Für einen Städtetrip sehr zu empfehlen, aber natürlich kein Luxus.

The rooms are little dated but very clean. The service was very good - excellent at times. Great location within easy walking distance of Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate, so I got some sightseeing done before and after work.

Overall very good stay. Spacious rooms, cleaned everyday, service is excellent. Front desk upgraded us for free after hearing about travel woes which brightened up our journey. Hotel is central to everything whether walking or taking public transport. If I had one thing to bring up, the air con was weak and barely noticeable when it is 30 degrees+ however this was minor. Would stay again.

Stayed here for 4 nights and found the room, staff, and location all to be excellent. The room was clean and well furnished. Conveniently close to a main station, walking distance to the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, and the Wall Memorial.

Nice central hotel right in the middle of the city. Despite its location, it was very quiet. Friendly front staff spoke English. Has a very nice indoor pool.

The huge space every corner is really good. Breakfast ist really enough for international guests. Because the Hotel is in near in the City, you can have what you wanted. Friedrich Palast ist just near where we were for the Show Falling In Love.

Solid experience over a week-long stay. Great location and value. Enjoyed a clean well-kept junior suite. Pools and sauna were great but no hot tub. Breakfast buffet was ample, tasty and offered a lot of choice. My one dinner at Check Point Charley bar and restaurant could have been better but there are lots of nearby places to eat. Room was oddly lacking artwork which seemed ironic for the art theme of the hotel. Public areas had lots of fun and funky artwork though. Great proximity to Brandenburg Gate and to two train stations. It is easy to get to and from the hotel and airport via train with just 2 or 3 blocks of walking downtown. I would stay there again.

A good hotel in a great location. Only reason why I haven’t given it 5 stars was my room (649) seemed to have a very loud radiator/pipes, which kept me awake at night. The noise was almost like a dripping/banging noise coming from one of the pipes. Even when the radiator was turned off, the noise still prevailed, which was very irritating when trying to sleep. Other than this issue, the hotel is great and the staff are very friendly.

Very nice hotel, rooms are spacious with good air-conditioning modern bathroom and good internet. Breakfast was amazing with a nice selection of food and 2 coffee makers. The hotel is in a great location center located and I found the staff very friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice hotel, well positioned close to historic and cultural sites, museums, entertainment venues, and excellent food. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, shower hot, and breakfast tasty. I've been here twice for conferences and would gladly return.

Staff was nice, hotel is located nicely in the middle of Berlin close to a large train station. Only minus was that several rooms a smoke-allowed, thus resulting in a rather bad smell on arrival. After having the window open for 1-2 days, the smell was more or less away.

On the 9th floor I received a mostly quite and especially clean room. The staff was incredibly nice and meticulous in their execution. The hotel has a relaxed flair. Finally the location is superb with most important places in a short distance by S- and U-Bahn.

Nice hotel in the centre of Berlin, some of the common areas were a little run down, but overall quite a nice stay. I really appreciated the pool and sauna.

The location is super convenient, the staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are very dated though, some curtains have stains and the sinks are quite rusty.

Excellent location for getting around and for the Brandenburg gate. 2 or 3 stops away from Berlin hbf. Loads of shops right on your doorstep, and a superb book store opposite "dussmann", huge English books section. Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality rooms for the price. Only gripe was that we were not able to use HDMI devices with the TV. Would I stay there a 2nd time? For work yes, for pleasure I think I would go for a more trendy part of the city, more terraces etc. Notwithstanding the German food restaurant next door was excellent.

Great location, fairly good rooms, great lobby space with lots of art and modern ambience. But… beware the bartender at the Checkpoint bar. Extremely rude. Not so much to me, though I would say (generously) that he was “surly.” But the way he treated some other guests, including a drunk one who fell asleep at the bar — after that same bartender OVER-SERVED him — should be an embarrassment to this hotel. The shame is that the bar is otherwise a great selling point of the place: very modern and comfortable, but ultimately customers remember service, good or bad.

Comfortable stay with a decently sized room. Nice pool area, and convenient location to all amenities. Downside was the air condition which never seemed to cool off the room. Woke up sweating every night.

Great location, walking distance to shopping areas, tourist attractions and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and answered any questions we had. The breakfast was okay but not worth the price, unless you really eat allot to start your day.

A well located hotel in Berlin if you want to be close to tourist attractions, a few minutes walk from a train station. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM and ends between 10:30 or 11:00 AM, the rooms are comfortable and clean. the staff is very friendly at all times.

Good hotel, friendly staff, clean and tidy. Right in the heart of the city near to the station and many important sites. Room was large enough, well equipped though the bed was too hard and the pillows to soft to suite me though that us s matter for each patron. Swimming pool was too cold for our tastes. Overall a good experience though.

Really bad experience for me. Don’t recommend this place unless it’s your only option. I have to come down stair everyday to activate my keycard due to some problems on their reservation team. The staff and manager at the reception don’t seem professional. They each gave me different information, and talked to me as if I should’ve known better already. I felt targeted and threatened during the communication. The front desk charged me extra without notifying me when I first checked in, or on the second day when I have to come down to get a working card. On the third day, while I have all my stuff in the room, the receptionist threatened me that I would not get the new card if I didn’t pay right now. I was just confused about the new charge they requested because I though it was covered. I believe there are plenty of other ways to better resolve the issue, and the staff chose the worst and most unpleasant way to deal with. Very sad and disappointed that I chose to stay here for my vacation :(

This hotel is in the center. It is close to the shopping area. The room is spacious and very comfortable. The bed is brilliant. The pillow is perfect. The shower is excellent. The best is the check out is 12:00. So after late night I really able to rest. Wonderful experience. Thank you

Ein tolles Hotel. Das Zimmer ist gut eingerichtet und dass Bett sehr gemütlich, das Bad sieht auch schön aus. Der Service war top. Freundlich Mitarbeiter, Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Der Standort ist perfekt, da man gleich an der neben Straße Läden hat und auch zu Sehenswürdigkeiten wie dem Brandenburger Tor nicht weit laufen muss.
