We are on night 1,day 2 of a 4 night🌙 stay, check in was flawless and the front desk staff could not have been more helpful, professional and a very good level of English. The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning. We got room 236 on the second floor, it feels very private as we're down by the spa area. Unfortunately the spa is closed due to covid but I'm sure we'll be back again in the coming years to try out the spa. Room cleaniness is to a very high standard & rooms are furnished in modern, comfortable style. Bathroom has no bath but a beautiful laid out bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast this morning was great, fantastic selection available from fruits both fresh & dried, cheeses, fresh honey, seeds, nuts, muesli, breads and good selection of hot breakfast food ie - bacon, eggs both boiled & scrambled, beans, mushrooms 🍄, tomato 🍅, sausage. The staff we've met from the front desk, breakfast staff and cleaners have been great, polite, professional and friendly. Great stay so far. I'll update this review in anything changes over the coming days, I'll also remember to take photos of the breakfast area in the morning. Umbrellas provided at hotel lobby for residents, universal adapter provided by the front desk, €20 hold on your credit card until the adapter is returned, once returned your card isn't charged.

Luxury Hotel in Berlin Mitte. The entree is welcoming. To the right is the reception and concierge area. The lobby area is designed to take a seat and relax or have a talk. Restaurant Grill serves delicious dishes and the bar is inviting for a pre dinner or after dinner drink. The hotel rooms are functional and bright. On the basement is a well equipped gym where you can join the sports.

We were very disappointed the staff speaks really bad English and because of the current Corona Pandémie the restaurant is closed. Breakfast is also only semi well prepared. You can collaborate the short-time work and the associated Finaziellen situation of the employees. Employees serve you only after 10 minutes and excuse themselves with the words: "We are in short-time work, we are not responsible for this please wait." The spa use is very poorly organized, we were told that we have to go directly downstairs, and can change here. After finally finding the spa, you are sent back to the room to change. Very strong misunderstandings and lack of communication we were allowed to witness. We will look for another hotel in the future.

Great business hotel in the heart of Berlin. Superb location in gendarmenmarkt, well connected to everywhere you would want to go. The rooms are big, tidy, well stocked and comes with very luxurious products. The in house spa and restaurant are pretty amazing! The buffet breakfast is also quite good with lot of fresh options. The staff are friendly and efficient, check in and check out were very smooth. Would definitely recommend for a nice stay in the heart of Berlin.

A Turkish Hotel that feels like a prison. Titanic hotel is certainly Berlin’s best known Turkish hotel. The location is great, right next to ‘Gendarmenmarkt’ and ‘Unter den Linden’, welcoming you with a Turkish-styled lobby. The rooms are quite unique for a five star hotel: the windows are high up, you look against a shabby wall, barely able to see the sky. From my pov not a 5 star experience :(

Undoubtedly, the best hotel we have ever been to for service, quality and comfort. It was really worth paying just that little bit more for this outstanding experience of staying here. Breakfasts were amazing, and if it's your birthday...that special touch just made it. Couldn't commend this place more.

The room was a bit small but quite clean. The front desk was very very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was AMAZING. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had, a lot of variety and everything tasted incredible. Also, the location is the best. We travelled by foot to a lot of attractions and also there is a bus stop within 5 mins of walking distance that takes you to further attractions (like east side gallery). It was the best hotel out of the five hotels I stayed in for this trip.

My mum and I spent two wonderful nights at the Hotel with our dachshund Denver. We travel quite a lot but we've never been welcomed this friendly. Especially the dog was warmly welcomed by Steffen with 3 different kinds of self-baked dog-cookies. Also the hotel manager regularly stopped by to welcome the little guest. Additionally, the service in the breakfast room by Steffen and his colleagues was exceptional. The quality of the breakfast itself as well. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Berlin seeking to have a good time and feel welcome. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern. Thank you again for the wonderful time, we will definitely be back!

Rude and unprofessional. Staff should never speak derogatorily about a guest when the guest can clearly overhear it. It is very unprofessional and shows a total lack of respect in general. When we guests meet you with kindness, we should at least receive the same. You certainly do not feel welcome as a guest. Never experienced anything like this anywhere!

Not happy at all. - I was mislead to believe the hotel has a parking. They don't. What they have is a valet service, nice but not what I asked for the two times I specifically called. Car will be driven to a nice parking 200m away. - No complimentary water restock after the first night...(it was provided free of charge once I asked). - Asking if I get something with my hotels.com reservation when checking in. Front desk staff saying I don't, that he already checked. I don't trust them, so I check and see I do in fact get a 20% discount on spa services... - I got my stuff taken to the room, but my second reservation guest was not offered help despite one of them being a 70yr old lady. I carried myself the stuff to the room. - Spa had two saunas, the wet one did not work for three days so we couldn't use it. - Front desk did not know the name of the parking where they parked my car. I was a bit shocked. They knew where it was but not how it's called. I wanted to pin it in the map so I ended up walking there with a staff member to see where they parked. Their answer? "No worries we park Rolls Royce and Lamborghinis". These people are ridiculous. Not only that, but the night front desk (night of 19/12/23) said the cars are fully insured. Nothing further from the truth when I looked at the valet receipt/paper where policy clearly states is not, which I understand, but why lie then? Edit: adding one star due to nice staff at breakfast time, spa area and the fact they allowed me to keep the car a bit longer in the garage after checkout.

It’s the little details about this place that deserves 5 stars. The warm welcome from the front desk, puffy pillows, delicious breakfast, helpful staff and wonderful smelling lotion in their bathrooms. They also packed us a little lunch to go for our train trip! 😊 Better deal than their 5 stars competitors.

We selected this hotel for a short stay in Berlin and were pleasantly surprised at how great it worked out. We did not know the Berlin marathon would be happening the same weekend. We were able to cheer on participants, explore the city and enjoy the comforts of a great hotel. The employees we encountered were friendly and very focused on customer service. The restaurant was great - I had one of the best black angus beef dinners ever and the breakfast buffet was extensive with so many choices! Stella, the concierge, was extremely helpful in encouraging us make a side trip to Rothenburg on our way to Munich. She went out of her way to book a car, hotel and provide restaurant recommendations. Everything worked out great! If we're ever in Berlin again, we will definitely be staying at the Titanic Gendarmenmarkt Berlin!

A fantastic hotel with friendly, attentive staff. Ideally placed to discover Berlin as everything is nearby in reach direction. The room was clean and quiet, well equipped with a nice bathroom. The restaurant is nice and the choice at breakfast is really good, enough to keep you going until into the evening. My wife and I enjoyed our third stay in Berlin here.

The location is perfect, just three minutes to U2 metro. The room was very clean, with sheets and towels changed every day. The breakfast was of high quality and diverse. The staff were friendly and attentive, a big thank you to Elif, Emre, Chef Mehmet, and Mustafa.

High quality hotel in a central location. Quite pricey but we knew that when we booked it and perfect for a special occasion. Staff were always happy to help with whenever we needed.

Clean and comfortable rooms, a bit small perhaps. Great shower and bathroom. They forgot to restock the mini bar, mistake. Will definitely return.

The service was wonderful. Was here for my husband’s birthday. They arranged a beautiful surprise. I would say the room is smaller than I thought it would be but overall nice, beautiful, clean, friendly staff. In terms of visiting locations, close to museum mile. Generally speaking things in Berlin are a little bit of a trek away so I think location wise it was still great!

Great location and facilities, beds are comfortable, however the SPA did not have our booking despite it being on our confirmation email, they didn’t even seem to know couple massages were being offered by the hotel when reserving online. One of the restaurant staff openly mocked me for asking a question about the breakfast service, both to my face and to a colleague once we started to leave. There was also a rather large insect crawling on one of the chairs in the room which I had a trap in a glass. Expected more to be honest.

Good central location. The junior suite we had was spacious and spotless. The staff are polite and helpful. We did encounter an issue with the room but the matter was resolved immediately and in a very efficient manner. I would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful staff and a beautiful hotel in a central location. It also has the most spectacular breakfast buffet I've ever seen. The spa also looks promising, but was open very limited hours while I was there. I would definitely stay here, again.

Great hotel in very good location, with a nice upscale feel to it. Only I have to say... promoted as VIP property on hotels.com one should not have to explain about the free room upgrade and late check out on check in and check out. Came back to the hotel, cause I was unable to fly after eating badly... had to explain again. BUT, great hotel!

If the hotel is 5 star hotel, then everything should be excellent, not just ok. Overpriced, including breakfast. Room was good and spacious. Service adequate.

Excellent service, good accomodations, prime location. Rooms might seem small but they are very comfortable & well designed.. & a good shower. Breakfast was good and offered a good variety. There's a gym & spa also.

Fancy hotel with an amazing breakfast. More importantly: the gym got everything you need for a good session. There's also a spa area.

Very nice upscale hotel with a beautiful lobby. The hotel room was very nice too. The breakfast buffet was the best I had in my two week European stay. Normally, the hotel would have been priced above what I would pay for a hotel. But CovID brought down their price to more of a 3 star hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Amazing staff with super attentive service all around. The room was very clean and very comfortable, room service food was fast and one of the hottest and freshest room service meals I ever had.The breakfast buffet was huge with a big variety. The location is also phenomenal. Definitely a gem of a hotel.

Gorgeous hotel near many of Berlin's attractions. It is conveniently located near a tram station and bus routes. It's 10 minutes from Berlin's Central Station. Lots of cafes and restaurants are also with 5 minutes walk. The service at the reception desk was friendly and welcoming. The hotel lobby and other common areas are super clean and so was the room. The bed and pillows were suitable for a heavenly and restful sleep. The bathroom was spacious with a nice shower area and excellent water pressure. The ambiance of the hotel is very classy and soothing. We loved everything about this hotel and will certainly stay here when our travel brings us to this lively and hip city.

Good location. Similar price to other premium hotels in the area. Mediocre rooms. Bad service - a mess, actually. If you seek to spend 200+ euro in a good Mitte Hotel - DO NOT GO to Titanic, there are much more hotels without the chaos and arrogance. Also, beware - some rooms are much worse than others.

Just had the most horrible experience in the Hotel Restaurant Beef Grill Club by Hassir. The staff was very rude and the host has an negative attitude problem and an intimidating tone, the food was great but not worth the trouble. If you want to stay in a good hotel in Berlin don’t waste your time or money in the Hotel Titanic, if I could give this place negative stars I will!!!

  • 5/5 nina M. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent location Fantastic extremely helpful staff Beautiful hotel and good food and breakfasts My advice book direct and avoid Booking.com or Booking..sham as I call them The booking for the great hotel was to include free transfer to and fro , interestingly we lost the first one due to Ryan Air losing a piece of luggage however was entitled to a return journey which did not materialise spent most of the day on email only to have booking .sham ask the same detail 8 times !!! Anyway the hotel was great and organised a taxi at a fair price so five stars to the hotel and zero stars to Booking.com Book direct , I will when I return in the Autumn

I stayed in this hotel with my family for a sightseeing tour of Berlin. It is a great solution. Spacious room (junior suite), but with little maintenance needed. Excellent service. Excellent European breakfast, with different types of bread, eggs ready at the moment: all very good. A well-suited facility for cultural attractions in an excellent location.

Aircon does not work well, there's always queue in reception, only 2 receptionist on peak hours is not enough. If you are rushing to leave you are in trouble.

A really elegant hotel. The rooms could be a little bigger, but the price was really good, and the standard was great. I had a room next to the elevator, but it was dead quiet. The gym was the best hotel gym I've ever tried. They lost the top score on the breakfast. Ordinary food, but really expensive, and only coffee from ordinary machines.

I only worked one shift here but I wouldn't try again. Their attitude towards their employees is quite surprising, taking into account that hospitality people should know how to treat others with respect and make them feel welcomed. I had trays pushed into my face and I was almost yelled at (for people who have been working there for a while now it's nothing unfamiliar). I don't speak German, but most of them were not even trying to speak English to me, which is unfair given that they were completely aware that I don't understand German. Again, it's a 5 star hotel and a hospitality job, you would think staff members would be able to communicate with people from everyehere. I never felt this disrespected in a workplace situation before, I would never expect people being rude when that makes their job and others' unnecessarily more complicated and harder to bear, but I guess it's not the case with some places.
