The location is great. The hotel is clean, but a little bit old style and definitely a conference hotel style. The car garage is great, easy to drive, and not cramped. Breakfast is quite narrow and if you want to have omelets or something from the kitchen that is an extra cost. We couldn't find all of those things from breakfast what the menu promised. The room didn't have a coffee machine, only an electric kettle with fast coffee, and like wine, classes were the different style. Room cleaning had to order a day before...because of the corona - which was very weird because this time all shops and restaurants are open. We forgot to do that and they just change the towels, not even make a bed, and actually, we had to remain them again the next day that we are ordered that. The ice cube machine was without cups etc. Small things, but summa summation hotel was okay, but not a 5-star luxury hotel, maximum 4-starts or 3,5... We stayed 3 nights.

Great hotel-Great location. Wonderful hotel in the perfect location when visiting Berlin. The hotel is on a fairly quiet side street away from the main road which is great. It’s literally 1 minute walk to the main shopping/restaurant areas and, at the right time of year, 3 minutes to the Christmas market. 10 minute walk to the main train station and shorter walk to the underground. The 5 star hotel deserves 5 stars. The staff, facilities and amenities are worthy of this. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Berlin. I’d like to think I’ll return one day.

We have been staying in the Dorint for many years, even when it was a Sofitel, when on our annual trips to Berlin. The rooms are well appointed, large for Berlin, well thought out and extremely comfortable. The location is outstanding, in a great part of Berlin, with easy access to many restaurants, shops and places of interest. KaDeWe, the iconic department store, is an short walk. The restaurant and bar serve excellent food and snacks. Car parking is spacious and on-site. The staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The concierge, Pino, is one of the best. A special thanks to Jacqueline at reception for her help. One of the very best places to stay in Berlin. Highly recommended.

Can't really complain. A comparably modern and attractive hotel. A little dark for my taste but fast elevators and spacious rooms. The fitness center is located on the second floor which is also part of the event area. So, you'll be the only person in shorts walking past suit guys in the worst case. It's also comparably small but not well attended, so I had my space. Food in the event area was great! Haven't really tasted the restaurant. The front desk solved all my requests in a minute or two. Solid stay. Would come back anytime.

Excellent location, splendid with minimalist interior design rooms. Foods are great. Try book the Junior Suite, you'd love it. FO's, Room Services and other staff are very helpful and sincere. Highly Recommended.

Although the first employee seemed a bit less customer focussed this was only a one-time experience. And maybe it was just a language thing. The rest of all was very good. The service was good and everything was clear and easy all the time. We did choose this hotel mainly for the location, the appearance it made online and the breakfast, we also where interested in the wellness option. This was a good choice. They have a well equipped gym and a fine sauna/Steam bath/relaxation area. This was a great experience. The room was spacious and the bathroom was large and we'll equipped. I did have a good laugh since there was a telephone right next to the toilet which made no sense at all to me 😂. Parking was easy to find and the garage had a dedicated elevator to the hotel lobby. Price is probably as to be expected in Berlin. Maybe even priced attractively given the location. Good hotel all in all!

Wonderful hotel and one of the best experiences I’ve had so far. Staff is genuinely attentive to kids and they provided not only cot as requested, but children toiletries, some toys and cherry on top - small slippers! Room is spacious with somewhat a view on the old broken church and Mercedes sign on the nearby building which will definitely light up your night unless you completely wrap up the windows with curtains. Breakfast lacked a bit of staff attention but is very good overall, I enjoyed it, especially the variety of fresh fruit. Be aware if you’re checking out in the early morning (before 6:30am on weekdays or 7am on weekends) you need to request lunch box well in advance otherwise you’ll have to find food someplace else.

Great hotel ! - location is great and short waking distance to public transport. - large and renovated room. Bathtub and great shower. - easy and fast check in and check out. Nice staff. - small gym and sauna available. Cons - breakfast price is expensive, around 25 euro per person but there are options nearby. - sauna does not working in the morning and it was a mess after previous night.

I stayed here many years ago when name of this hotel was something else, but forgot to review. Everything topquality , breakfast , room , lobby , service, parking and location , everything superb. Close to KaDeWe and the destroyed church on kurstfursterdamm. I really recommend

I was checking out this morning, something happened that made me very angry, which I thought was quite disrespectful. Now the more I think about it, the angrier I get. I was clearly in line, there were two staff at the front desk, the man in front of me was asking about things, I was a little anxious to catch the plane, whispered to one of the staff said excuse me, he ignored me, the two of them still continue to serve the customer at the same time, okay, I will wait for a while, and then the infuriating thing happened, One of the staff members went directly to another front desk and served two other guests who had checked out. The time happened at 9:40 this morning ( 16.07.2023）and I was in too much of a hurry to ask the staff member's name, but I felt very angry!

Excellent hotel in the centre of Upper West, just 50 meters from Kurfürstendamm! Nice and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast. Our outstanding number one choice when visiting Berlin!

Was there for two nights...its a big hotel with lots of space and therefore big spacious rooms. Personel very friendly and helpful. One night we even had one of our rooms upgraded which I found to be owesome. With this level of a 5 🌟 they can improve on their breakfast and add more varieties especially on fresh fruits and veges and fish. It was just okay for me but not wow!! Some hotels of this standards have bathrobes and slippers in the room but I had to call reception to make a request which was done immediately. A request for a taxi to the airport was done in two minutes. Another minus point is the spa. I wished with their standard they could have a 24 hour running sauna. Unfortunately it only serviced half time. 😕😪 And therefore in general only 4 🌟 from me .

Missing a star since 2 out of 3 elevators were not working during our stay. The stairs were not easily marked since they were behind an emergency door. The rooms on the lower floors have no view but they are large and very comfortable. Hotel location is great and breakfast is exceptionally good.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Zimmer sehr geräumig, Bad mit Wanne und separater Dusche. Sehr selten! Was bei den 4 Sternen befremdet sind die 50€ Kaution die hinterlegt werden müssen und bei Abreise wieder erstattet werden. Ein neues Geschäftsmodell bei 4 Sternen? Wer's nötig hat...

Rooms nice but far too hot even when room heating control turned down. Had to open window which was noisy.

Ich hatte dort eine Konferenz mit einem Aufenthalt über 3 Tage und kann nur sagen: Super Service! Zimmer waren top, Konferenzraum wie gewünscht mit einem exzellenten Service, Frühstück top, Bar top, sehr gut erreichbar mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und alle Mitarbeiter sehr engagiert. Hier fühlt man sich Willkommen!

Amazing stay in a junior suite. Great location. Staff was accomodating and helpful. Suite was spaceous, modern and super clean. Even had an awesome speaker (big bonus). Will definetly stay again when I return to Berlin.

We were staying in the hotel for 6 nights for vacation' I really don't know why it is a five-star hotel. the cleaning services are so bad, we had to call the reception to make sure they will clean our room. On the 2nd day, the toilet paper was over and they didn't refresh it which was very uncomfortable (putting it mildly), and they also didn't refresh the soap, shampoo almost through our entire stay. the toilet, the bath, and the sink cleaning were in lack too. the room was very old and not well equipped, the team didn't replace the coffee cups and we had to call reception for tea and coffee refill since it didn't happen daily (once in all our stay). coffee machines are only available in "premium rooms" according to the staff, in a 5-star hotel (which was half empty), in 2022. we were in Berlin many times, this is definitely not the best deal in the city, there are better hotels for less the price. if it was possible, I was reviewing it for less than 1 star!

As usual, wonderful experience. The staff are helpfull, kind, super minded, very polite. Our room, was incredible ! Clean, big! We recieved gifts for our baby. They provided special bin for the diapers, and somewhere to change him! As well as bathrobe and sleepers for him. The bed: as always in Sofitel, super comfy, the bedding is incredible. Thank you so much to the hotel for this amazing experience, I'm never disappointed ! Greetings

High class hotel, really comfortable and offering awesome views over the city. And the area is very nice, close to the Zoo, shopping venues and a great park. Definitely recommend it!

I’ve stayed here many times, including when it was a Sofitel, and have always had a good experience. What I like most is the large bathroom with both a shower and a large bathtub. The location is excellent with cafes, restaurants and shops all nearby. They lose one star for the state of the bed - they don’t actually make it properly. They just throw a sheet on and cover with the duvet, but don’t really make the bed. You have to tuck it in yourself to stop the bedsheet from coming up when you sleep on it. On the positive side, they were able to provide me with a firmer neck pillow.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the shopping district. Spacious rooms with the finest quality audio accessories I have ever seen in any hotel - my room was equipped with a Bluetooth enabled Bose Wave radio. Staff were very helpful, I didn't check out until late in the day and I was allowed to change in the gym (and shower if I wished ). Underground carpark around the back. Decent bar on the ground floor. U-Bahn stops around the corner. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay, good value for money, nice rooms l, centrally located, but the best part was the service, very helpful , I even forgot my sunglasses and they offered to send them back to me. Ncoe breakfast, would definitely recommend! The only downside is that there's no pool, but oter than that it's a great place to stay in the west without paying outrageous prices.

Very nice hotel, the staff was friendly, the junior suite is very neat and nice and the bathroom was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. But only four stars because the bed was very loud, I apologize to my room neighbors.

Totally good location! The hotel itself is one of the most silent and cleanest I’ve ever been! The room was huge 38 m2. The bed and linen were exceptionell good. A strong recommendation.

We had a very nice stay at Dorint Kurfürstendamm Berlin (7 nights Deluxe))Great location. The room was spacious with a nice view and a huge bed. The bathroom had both a tub and a shower. We slept like babies due to the sound proof door and windows. A special thanks to the lovely staff at the breakfast-buffet. They gave us such a warm welcome every day, and they all worked very hard to keep everything fresh and clean without being stressed out. A very nice start to our mornings. We miss our smoothie<3. This Hotel also have a restaurant, and we must say we were pleasantly surprised of the quality. We had a very nice late dinner and dessert, and the staff again super nice. All in all I will say that this Hotel is great value for money and we would def stay here again!

The rooms we had were adjoining so had ample space to work , rest and sleep. Most of the younger staff were friendly upbeat and ready to help. However there was definitely a more resistant and almost cold / rude approach from other's. It was a shame because my son age 10 asked if all German people were like that.

My experience at Dorint on 24th January is worst than worst. Specially the manager (Anja) behaviour towards guests and employees. I have not had like this experience in my life I have travelled the world and seen many 5star hotels but this one is unexpected. I was trying to give not even half star but there is no option… I repeat everything was okay but Anja the manager behaviour ruined our evening.. All bad credit goes to her… 😐

Hotel with only external appearance, looks like everything but the hotel. The worst hotel for me so far. The foul smell of the room and the creaking sound of the air conditioner all night, an uncomfortable bed, broken furniture, I don't want to write more, but everything is bad and disgusting. I do not recommend this experience to anyone.

Staff are very friendly. The facilities in the hotel are excellent and the hotel is located very central so easy to get around to explore the city.

Spent 4 days, pre announced my gluten-free needs.. first and second morning breakfast went Weill with fresh backed gluten-free bread… afterwords just got some schaer toast bread 🍞 served ( not what I expect from this hotel in quality) business catering served IKEA gluten-free cake and again schaer toast bread 🍞… I can tell motelOne delivers a better service than dorint. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️stars are for cleaning people and room size, central located and modern building

Excellence!!! This hotel was excellent and gave us very good cleaning service and even sat up my little sisters toy on the bed and it gave her a smile. The room was very nice and modern and the fitness room is very nice with a steam room, sauna, weights, other work out equipment, and even a footbath. The nice details of an automatic ice pile and cold water bucket were appreciated. The only thing I would change is the menu of the restaurant within the hotel, it could use more options and make less of an attempt at extravagance because the food is all sounding of octopus confit and chocolate creme bruleé but isn't actually the best. But a restaurant isn't of importance and didn't really put a dent in the stay, especially because there are many restaurant options surrounding the hotel. It is also in an excellent location. The tiergarten is very close and the streets around are very lively with lots of the main attractions. The Berlin zoo is a brisk walk away and there are lots of shops across the street. I HIGHLY recommend!! The quality surpasses the price by far and you definitely think it was our best hotel choice on our trip.
