My reservation on the app showed an upgrade to club lounge access, as I am a diamond ambassador member. At check in the agent confirmed this when telling me about all these amazing benefits I have (now I wonder about all the others.) When I tried to access the lounge it did not work. I went to the front desk and the extremely rude manager told me I did not have it. I complained about the bait and switch. One would think a hotel like intercontinental would eat the mistake to make it right. Nope. She was snide, rude, and intractable. The unwashed masses cannot access her precious lounge... Nice hotel. Nice location. Search the reviews for "rude". Wish I read them before making the reservation. This is a full service Holiday Inn masquerading as an International.

I really can't say how amazing this hotel was! We had a 4 night bread and breakfast stay, and it far exceeded our expectations. The pool and facilities were outstanding, the kids loved it, everyone made them feel so special. Room was stunning with a huge bathroom with bath, shower and dressing area. TV, air-conditioning, beautiful view from the 7th floor. The breakfast was amazing and so much choice. The staff really did everything they could to make you feel awesome. Highly recommended - can't wait to go back some day.

Location and hotel itself is great. The customer service doesn’t exist. My wife was subject to a confusion and then humiliation over using spa. Here management should learn some practicality in their approach over such a trivial thing. The experience was therefore spoiled.

Everything was great - can't fault a thing. Great quality (quiet) rooms, exceptional service and located on the Zoo Park and the tier garten - perfect!

Beautiful hotel. The bathrooms were truly some of the best/nicest setups I’ve experienced at any hotel, it was a real luxury/treat. The hotel itself was always incredibly clean, quiet and had every amenity you could want. The breakfast spread was also very impressive and did not compromise the quality whatsoever given the number of options they had. It was a spoil to stay here and definitely will be looking here on my next trip to Berlin.

Beautiful and modern hotel. All staff very friendly and always happy to help. All of them very courteous and well trained. Everybody was very patient with kids. Food and drinks quality highest standards. Located in a very nice area of Berlin. Spa area is recommendable. There was a fire alarm triggered by a faulty sensor. Evacuation handled with high level of professionalism and without creating any panic. Guests waiting outside the hotel were even offered complimentary cooled bottles of water, as it was quite muggy outside. Very attentive and great customer service even during that unexpected event and even though it wasn't their fault. In the aftermath of the event we did receive a letter from the management explaining what had happened and apologising. We felt very safe and perfectly looked after and grateful for their honest feedback. Definitely coming back one day soon. Thanks to the Intercontinental-Team for the very nice and unforgettable days at your hotel. Weiter so!

I believe it's worth staying at this hotel. Even though I encountered some technical difficulties with the remote control for the tv (that functionality I always check on arrival) and the coffee maker. Both things were replaced that evening. Our room on the top floor was great. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. I admit that I spent most of my weekend in the room. The breakfast buffet was overwhelming. I also enjoyed the drinks and the food at the bar. Even though their opening hours were a little bit tight. The service personnel was mostly friendly. The hotel is very clean and inviting. Just a little advise: Please check your room charges on your bill upon leaving. I was charged 6 times breakfast instead 4 times. Two people, two mornings - it just didn't add up. Also think about reserving a visit to the wellness facilities before you arrive. In pandemic times it's not possible any more to go to the sauna in a spur of the moment. All in all: I enjoyed my stay.

Of all the hotels I've ever stayed in, in my opinion, this one had the best breakfast of all time. Quality, variety, choice, all amazing. And champagne. Quality hotel. It is undergoing a bit of work in the reception area at the moment, but this had no adverse impact. I stayed to visit the Christmas markets, and our favourite just happened to be 5 minutes walk away. Perfect.

Very high segment (expensive) hotel, big rooms and nice staff. Though in regards to sustainability not that great. Everywhere in the hotel it was unpleasant hot, with no way to cool down the room enough for a good sleeping temperature. The third morning we couldn't get hot water to shower. Besides that, I know that its luxurious, but changing all the towels even those who aren't on the ground seems wastefull. The whole hotel was quite clean and the breakfast was great with a very wide selection of food to choose from. We didn't use any other services the hotel had to offer.

We were on our holiday for New Year with high expectations for our stay at Intercontinental Berlin. While the hotel itself boasts an amazing ambiance and artwork, the service was a major letdown. Having visited many Intercontinental hotels worldwide, the staff here fell short on customer service. A need for significant improvement in staff training to match the excellence expected from the Intercontinental brand.

Wonderful Hotel with luxurious rooms and large lobby. Extraordinary bar and very good restaurants. The club is very special with a wonderful view over Berlin. Staff is very nice and helpful. All wishes were fulfilled within short time. No complains about several stays. Will come again for sure.

Great hotel, location is good, got good upgraded and renovated room. Stuff is very nice and breakfast is one of the best I’ve seen. The gym is well equipped I think the spa is a bit pricy but was free for us for our status. Also the Club Lounge is very good and wide spread. Very recommended!

It is a very luxurious hotel, just located a bit outside of Berlin. We were on the 11th floor, and the very spacious bathroom invited us to take a bath every half an hour. Moreover, the master Room with the sofa and TV is enormous. You can’t imagine how big it is for a regular room! For this reason, book this room and forget the tiny rooms you have ever been to!

I spent amazing time in the hotel. The breakfast was delicious there was waffles, scrabbled eggs with whatever you want might be serve by a chef. Croissants, breads and what you wish. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is really friendly and helpful! Highly recommended 👏🏼

It deserves 5 stars. Nice stuff at the first Point and nice garnished dishes at buffet by Lunch dinner and Breakfast. Very and equipped toilet which you expect from Intercontinental level. It’s really huge Hotel, nice for conferences and Business matters. What I wondered they have no praying room at lobby, I thought it would be normally available by intercontinental .

Hotel has been renovated since my last stay (2019).. still has its charm, atmosphere and incredibly welcoming staff. The bar has exceptional cocktails (and they'll also go a bit off menu for you!). Highly recommend.

The standard room is surprisingly very small, really does not feel like a 5 star hotel. The air-condition in our room was not working so we were upgraded to a much bigger room, which was very nice.

Staff excellent, nothing too much. Room excellent and well serviced. Breakfast excellent, full selection of buffet and short order. Restaurant had a small menu but food excellent, if pricey. Excellent stay.

Had a fantastic stay there over 9 days a few weeks ago, as a IHG Diamond Ambassador all my benefits were offered proactively and I was very well taken care of. The Club Lounge and Marlene bar staff were fantastic in particular but every member of the staff I interacted with were fantastic. Cannot wait to return.

We stayed 2 days visit ! Hotel room size & amenities are good ! But led tv language of channels is an issue they must correct it ! No English Channel ! Secondly , spa reception lady is very rude in talking. Charged me for sauna & steam , which was actually included in my stay package. On persuading the matter with reception, some person personal visit from front desk, matter got clarified & amount was returned! Not ready to understand ! They don’t have in-house masseur in spa, she shared , they bring from outside & 4 hours prior before you must give them confirmation & it’s subject to availability & their discretion. Wow you stay in 5 star property , all it comes with their tailor suit-disclaimer ! Otherwise all hotel lobby staff were good, polite, cooperative & even Resturant staff were happy nice & humble ! Room I choose was premium, was big ,colourful & bathroom was all good & nice.

Great business hotel. Amazing service. Nice SPA. Breakfast in line with expectations, the choice is good. Try to get a room in a renovated part, these rooms are much nicer. The hotel is huge, sometimes we wanted to grab a taxi to get to breakfast :) Location is further away from the very city center, it's by the park and Zoo. Overall, a nice stay.

Overall a good experience, cozy hotel with welcoming staff. But I’ve never been asked to pay to use hotel amenities. First day we had breakfast it was a great experience but on the second day there was a male waiter and was told by him to make our own tea(even tho the previous day the female waiter served us great tea). Meanwhile he was serving coffee and juice to the older man sitting next to us… doesn’t mean we look younger that service isn’t warranted. I would even argue your younger clients are more important than your older ones if you want your brand to mean something in the future.
