Rooms are okay, for the price quite expensive. Entrance looks a cheap hostel, stains all over the floor and broken old furniture. Breakfast is BAD. Non drinkable coffee, plastic ham, one type of bread (I was told that Germanys Proud was the bread varieties, doubt so) and several food slots completely empty one hour before the breakfast closes. After speaking with the manager he claimed some clients had eaten too much! They even have one hotel with higher standards next to it, how dare you to say that one before it closes… rather go to a hostel, same quality, half-third the price

First of all, a cheap hotel that can fit in your budget however many issues such as wash room basin was choked , shower handle was broken, single door in washroom (parents -adult kids may not feel comfortable), small beds in very small room (i asked for 4 beds and I got beds on top of each other, even 1 bed didn't have any safety measures/protection; you may fall from it) now positive part, their room cleaning service team is very approachable and helpful, they helped me a lot. Kitchen - toh lay for everything; nice breakfast but veggies or vegan will not find much options except bread and butter with some fruits. Breakfast is available from 6 to 11 if you paid for it along with room reservation but after that u have to pay for it. The kitchen staff is good but they asked me to pay for the milk which i requested for my baby, maybe milk is costly in Berlin. Overall if u don't have any option then book it or otherwise look for alternatives that may be far better than this. I booked it at the last moment and paid too much for it.

Location is great but I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The rooms are incredibly small, no wardrobe and the staff is not helpful, they occasionally have long queues in front of the reception because of that. I had an issue with my shower as it kept going between hot and cold, they didn't get it fixed during the time I stayed which is 6 days.

Location, staff and breakfast were great. Room was not the cleanest I've sleep in and we had some issues with toilet kettle, but beside it, all was good.

I travelled here with a big group (75 people), the location was really great, the room decorations were nice, but the room were really small. There also were some stains on the wall, and the trash bin were really dirty, and smelled. (There was no trash in it)

Great hotel location , right next to Alexanderplatz , clean , not noisy , very polite and ready to help you staff , BUT it has a poor breakfast selection between scrambled eggs , whole eggs and meatballs. Thats it. Of course it has yogurt , fruits , selection of cheese but still...Very disappointed on this specific part.

Super Hotel. Tolle Lage Alex in 10 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Frühstück ist wirklich super. Wird immer gleich nach gelegt. Das gesamte Personal ist ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sauber und sehr gut. Ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

Great location, rooms clean but smallish. Continental breakfast was everyday the same, but ok loved their scrambled eggs😀accommodating and helpful staff. We had to change our room due to unpleasant smell and there was no issue on their side. Overall happy with the stay

Freundlicher Empfang, saubere Zimmer in idealer Größe. Sehr bequeme Betten, geräumiges Bad. Das Frühstück war lecker und umfangreich. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und von hier kann man super zu Unternehmungen starten.

War nicht unsere erste Übernachtung dort und auch nicht die letzte, alles stets bemüht, Zimmer in Ordnung und Frühstück auch für jeden was dabei. Bei unserer Ankunft war das Parkhaus leider belegt, aber dafür kann keiner was - sind in das Q Park ausgewichen. Das war aber problemlos. (Auch in der Abwicklung) Gern wieder 👍🏼

Schönes Hotel. Einfach eingerichtet und für einen Städtetrip super. Der Standort ist auch sehr gut. Die U-Bahn ist gleich in der nähe. Man erreicht die Sehenswürdigkeiten einfach und schnell. Es gibt auch ein reichhaltiges Frühstück. Die Fenster sind ein wenig hellhörig. Ansonsten alles tiptop.

Excellent service!!! Lady at the front desk went above and beyond last night… offered us tourist locations to visit and delicious food to try!! Rooms clean and warm too. The breakfast included was actually good too.

The room was really nice. The people were very kind. The location is perfect, in the centre of Berlin. I was a little disappointed by the water in the shower. Its temperature wasn't consistent; it was getting from very cold to very hot and vice versa in seconds. I would also prefer it, if there was an extra door in the bathroom to close completely (not only in the wc) but this is just my preference. And some rooms (mine for example) don't have a view; you just see the building. On the good side, it was very clean. Someone came everyday to check and change towels etc. The breakfast was great, with a lot of options, tasty food and the coffee was very nice too. Also we had to check out but our flight was hours later, so we asked and thankfully we could lock our luggage there. This was very helpful.

I have an American on my first trip to Europe. I arrived here with a very bad cold. The room is clean and comfortable, the staff was very helpful. Was able to get medication delivered and staff brought it to room.

Fantastic location close to Alexanderplatz, good quality European breakfast. Surprisingly little noise despite it's location on a busy street, especially at the rear of the building. Generally comfortable room, plus helpful staff! - The WiFi was somewhat intermittent and did not always give internet access. Shower temperature also a challenge to regulate, but other than that generally very good!

The hotel is located very conveniently. This is the central area of ​​Berlin. The room was clean, all amenities worked. The room is fully consistent with the description. There is one caveat, toothbrush and paste are not provided, so you should take this into account when planning your stay. The breakfast is top notch, very good. A wide range of tasty and healthy food. The only question was when I left. I received an invoice from the administrator with the amount to be debited, and after the debit, he gave me another invoice to sign, but there was a different amount, much less than the one that was debited. When I asked about this difference, the receptionist apologized and changed this second invoice. Such an error looked somehow strange and it spoiled the impression a little.

Nice staff, but when I called the reception about my TV, which wasn't working, they just hang up and did nothing about it. The food is okay, nothing to brag about but it's okay, the rooms nice and quiet large for the price. The toilets are good, except for the door. Overall a okay experience

Bad experience. Skip this hotel if you can. Got stuck in the bathroom for 45 mins while waiting for the technician. Then I had to disassemble the lock myself from the inside. Rooms are tiny, especially for 4 people. Really small and uncomfortable. Location and breakfast are okay, but you can do much better in Berlin.

A great stay, I will definitely come back to the H2. A very comfortable, clean room with a large bathroom. Location is a huge advantage of the hotel, it’s close to everywhere. Another plus is the convenient parking in the garage. Very helpful staff, they explain everything exactly. I recommend!

Room brilliant alongside the location. Staff on front desk are friendly and so are the cafe staff. Lost a star due to day checked out, throughout stay opted to not have my room turndown and kept the do not disturb sign on the door. Morning I checked out this disappeared from the door and 3 times between 7:30 - 10am had knocks on the door to clean the room when check is 12 and breakfast came with the door.

The room where we were staying was extremly small,we were 4x people in one room (family) making it difficult to move around,not even a proper table and chair(s) were available. The moment when we've entered the room the first time at the day of arrival,the room smelled horrible. The smell didnt go away until the next day when checking out again,it was like staying overnight inside a toilet. The queue when going for the breakfast was absurd,for this size of a hotel I would expect some appropriate size of a restaurant,no problem to wait for a moment if all tables are occupied but not like this. Location of the hotel is great,but this is all,I wouldnt recommend this hotel to any of my friends though.

We booked a room for 4, the only way to accomodate 4 person in that little room is in bunk beds. Very uncomfortable. Air conditioner didn't worked the first night, but they repaired inmediatly. The attention was exeptionaly warm. Breakfast - buffet was very good.

Very good hotel with reasonable prices. The bathroom is quite nice and big but the room could be more spacious. The breakfast is good but could have a variety of foods. Very good location and accessible to public transportation.

Service and rooms were the worst I have experienced. Would have been better off at a hostel and paid much less. Room had a funky odor coming from bathroom. No specialty in room- not even a safe for valuables. Small. The pillows were so thin. Service was “rude”. God forbid you miss breakfast by one minute- no lie! One minute and you were chased to pay for a small cup of coffee. The only good thing? Location. Not sure how it got good reviews- that was only reason we picked hotel. If you do stay and get a quadruple room with two bunk beds, make sure not to have luggages- not enough room for people and luggages. Better off getting something else is my recommendation.

Good place to rest in the center of Berlin (Alexander Platz) - near Hofbräu house. The rooms are ok - the price is in general too high for the quality (very personal opinion of a frequent traveller!) - my room (facing into an inner space, surrounded by buildings - either part of the hotel or adjacent structures) was quiet enough to open the window and enjoy the evening breeze. Breakfast is quite nice, but they cannot prepare any "special egg meals" e.g. fried egg, but offer boiled egg, scrambled egg. You won t starve, though... no gym, but for 10 euro a day you can use the gym next door at hotel H4 ... .

The location is perfect for public transport. The room was clean and neat. Nice decorated surroundings. The breakfast could be richer.

Room beds would give 5 stars, comfortable pillows. Good bath running water. Small size rooms, a bit too much small.

The hotel was great but for some reason the cleaners came to my room every 20 minutes to clean (atleast for me and my country its quite weird). The breakfast choice was quite small though definetly should add more. Overall a good hotel.

Very nice Hotel and lovely service. Came down every night for a gluten-free burger, (not many options other places in Berlin), and it’s one of the best burgers i’ve ever had. The people working night shifts in the restaurant are so welcoming and accommodate all needs and requests.
