Book this hotel at your peril, i.e., do not book it at all! The Wifi did not work in my room and the two neighboring rooms. Later checkout (+3 hours) is only possible for 20 Euros. Showering later instead is only possible for a fee (5 Euros), the hotel does not care if there are towels available in this room. I had to dry myself with my clothes. Putting your bags away costs money (1 Euro each time they do it.) The bed is not very big, as a tall person, this was not the comfort you would expect from a 4-star hotel. After paying 136 Euros for such a room the extra fees feel like a punch into the stomach, not because of the money but because you feel like they want to rid you of every last penny you have. The shower door in my room was broken. I had a more exciting breakfast in 2-3 star hotels.

I stayed at this hotel in 2015. It looked really nice from the pictures online and that impression remained when we entered the lobby. The hotel looks great from the outside and the lobby is nice too. We then got a room on the 6th floor and were very disappointed. The hallway was always stuffy and the door to the room was so difficult to open that I had quite a problem there. When you entered the room you almost ran straight into a large wardrobe. The bathroom was fine, the ceilings were very low (my brother is very tall and had quite a problem). The furniture seemed old and thrown together. The minibar somehow didn't fit at all, and the TV was tiny. The room cleaning was average. However, the location is very good, there are great restaurants on the street as well as the Hard Rock Cafe and you can reach the train station on foot.

Nice hostel, great and friendly staff. Top in cleanliness. One thing I would like to highlight that there is no tea/coffee machine in the room which I think is a very basic amenity. If they could provide tea/coffee machine, I think this hotel would be the best!!

Excellent location. We stayed in room 701 ideal for mother and son. 2 separate rooms in one with shared ensuite. Fridge with drinks but no complimentary water. No kettle but cups of hot water available from friendly bar staff open from 11am. Good selection offered at breakfast. Gluten free bread available. Friendly helpful waiters and reception staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Not deserve to be 4star there is things you need you have to pay for it like a katel .

Attractively priced, we initially had a room that was supposed to be clean but smelled of smoke. The alternative room then: far from the modernity of the other room and the bathroom was dirty. But since the smell in the other room bothered us more, we stayed inside. It was quite quiet during the night, but if you wanted to have the air conditioning on (like we did) it would make a very annoying noise.

I have no idea what to write here. TV didn't work, hotel rooms are already showing their age. The bathroom is okay, only the ventilation was a bit loud. Nevertheless, the staff is very friendly and my request for a second pillow was immediately fulfilled. Prices are unbeatable because of the construction site. Location is great, with the online ticket for 7 days we could go everywhere.

Solid hotel in a very good location. The rooms are fine both in terms of furnishings and cleanliness. You could definitely add more here. The view of the garbage-filled inner courtyard through the neighboring house can certainly be expanded. The staff is friendly, quick and always helpful. The breakfast is okay, there is certainly room for improvement in terms of selection and quality. The location is brilliant, you can be in the bar district within a few minutes and you will also find various shopping opportunities in the city.

Very small and old fashioned rooms (had a deluxe which is supposed to be big). Very simply equipped room, like water cooker but no coffee sachets, TV but no programmers etc... Breakfast total chaos as there are so many busgroups. Just the bar is good, nice staff and stuff. Location also a plus. Won't stay again.

Breakfast was good, the rooms were clean but I couldn't ventilate because no window opened. It was jammed and the TV was much too small, the picture was faded and most of the programs didn't even work. Everything is far too old and urgently needs to be renovated. Would have expected more from a 4 star hotel. Not even a restaurant where you could have a cozy evening meal. Unfortunately not suitable for a longer stay.

Hotel is basic. Expect two twins pushed together with two separate duvets for a double room. Our room had no tea and coffee facilities which we hadn't realised before arrival, apparently that's only for the superior rooms. Staff were helpful though although their English not great. I'd say it was like a travel lodge in the UK but with a bar. Also the fire alarms went off early one morning and it was unclear if we needed to evacuate

Yes, unfortunately this was my last visit to this hotel. Went there for two nights a few years ago. Sure, it wasn't the most modern hotel, but it was clean and centrally located. That's why I didn't hesitate when I last visited Berlin when I got a good deal for €49 a night. I thought we could then arrive a day earlier and relax. But nothing has changed at all, except that the cleanliness no longer works. Room was dirty, carpet was full of stains, the wall too. And on the wall, I think there were splatters of vomit. The bed was a hammock, not a good night's sleep. What strikes me the most is that they usually charge more money for a room than my €49. 49€ was definitely too much for what was on offer. When my friend asked if they had a nicer room, she said that it was one of the nicest ones. So, don't save money, avoid this hotel.

Definitely not a 4* hotel. Very outdated and small room. No kettle in the room. Shower very small but very good water pressure. Room cleaned daily but can't say it was spotless for example the soap holder and shower gell holder very dirty and got missed every day. The mattress is not comfortable either. The air con is just a fan that makes a lot of noise so don't turn it on. The lifts not working properly. Some days the lifts just didn't work. Breakfast was ok but not great, Very repetitive. There are coffee machines but the coffee tastes so awful! There was also pre made jugs of coffee with a bit more drinkable coffee. The breakfasts room was too small..crowded tables too close together. It just wasn't nice place to have a enjoyable breakfast. If you came later for breakfast and the room was too full they let us seat in the bar part which was much better and more private from the crowded part. But only managed to be allowed to sit in the bar part once. The first day. After that, we were told that the tables wasn't ready and we were sent to sit at the back of the room. This one was the worst part as there was a hole in the ceiling and just a bucket placed on the chair to catch the dripping water. And some tall ladders placed right at the tables where you having breakfast. Cheap hotel but not a nice place to stay. Staff in the reception very nice and helpful but the kitchen staff seemed overworked, understaffed which reflected on their attitude. Location great thanks to plenty of bus stops and regular public transport.

This place is a massive disappointment if you are coming for business. For starters, the Wi-Fi is abysmal (slow, loses connections, and you need to get a new ticket from reception every couple of days) so you can't really get much work done. No laundry service or ability to press my suit. Asked for an ironing board but there's ONE room with iron in the entire hotel that you have to share with others. Better do it the night before and avoid the line of businessmen and women in the same predicament. Can't say much nice about the bed or towels either. Staff was at least friendly and breakfast was decent. I wouldn't recommend this place for more than one night as your passing through.

It's like they got those 4 stars out of a cereal box. I had to ask to move rooms 3 times upon arrival due to the dirtiness off the rooms. I genuinely would not let my dog sleep in the rooms. The lobby is nice and a select few staff are nice. I would not stay here again, I have stayed in hostels that are cleaner. Location is good though.

Friendly reception and service, but the hotel is old and unkempt. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Holes in the bed linen. Bathrooms have also seen better days and are in urgent need of renovation. TV reception very poor. However, the complaint was not investigated. Good WiFi. Breakfast was very unimaginative (much better ten years ago). Four stars for the hotel are (unfortunately) no longer justified.

The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it is in the center of Berlin. Also, the breakfast was really nice, especially during weekends when you can come for breakfast til 12:00 which makes it really comfortable to sleep in and not to hurry much. On the other hand the hotel was 4* maybe 10 years ago by the looks. The room also lacked of kettle (however I was advised that they can give you a boiled water in a cup for free at the bar by the reception) and a very bad TV (not possible to use USB) with a very bad signal. However the price of 230 Euros B&B for 2 people/4 nights was really good for such trip.

Perfect location. Room do not have impressive design and atmosphere - everything is standard. But rather comfortable. Room and bathroom was clean. Fresh towels. I'll stay here again.

The only positive thing is the staff, very friendly. Otherwise, a very worn hotel that has seen its best years behind it. Musty smell and worn carpet in the hallway, rooms below average, bad windows (very loud), but luckily earplugs at the reception (you probably know why). The whole thing is crowned by slow internet. Absolutely no recommendation, let alone 4 stars and not even remotely worth the room price.

This is not a 4star hotel and when we first checked in staff were rude and abrupt. We were there before check in time so expected room not to be ready but staff basically told us to go away. Went back at 3 and room was horrible! Small and unkept looking with a tiny tv on wall and bed u def didn’t want to sleep in. After looking at other rooms my travel agent moved us to a hotel a few minutes away and they welcomed us and rooms are what I expected! Do not stay here! I’ve never had to move hotels but was def not a option to stay!

The place is in the heart of City. We only stayed 1 night but some facts should be helpful for guests and Hotel staff. First of all Reception was friendly and check in check out process were just a seconds. Hotel is mainly clean and silent but in our room there were no shower pack, no bathrobe, no slippers. Thats are small things but must be there, just basics. And one more thing to note that was a window. I think there was some problem with that. You feel like window is open but isn't so. Maybe staff would like to fix that problems, my hotel room was 603. I hope they will fix some kind of this problems. I can recommend this hotel to budget travellers and who wouldn't pay 100+ Euros for 1 Night.
