Modern, clean, perfectly located hotel. Underground station just across the street, plenty of shops (supermarket across the street open until midnight which is really convenient) and restaurants so in the evening you can stay near the hotel and relax. Rooms are spacious and cozy, great shower and super comfy bed. I would definitely stay again in this hotel!

Nice hotel, luxurious breakfast. Friendly staff, Room was nice too, looks new. Good bed, quiet rooms, airco, fast elevators😀. Location is perfect, lots of restaurants, bars and public traffic @short distance.

Enjoyed my stay for a few nights. The standard room with queen bed and wardrobe was perfect for one. I imagine it would be quite cozy for two, though. The AC was very effective at cooling the room. There was a mini fridge stocked with complimentary water, and it was useful for me to store other beverages. Even though I faced the courtyard, the curtains kept the room dark and the windows did a good job at keeping out noise. The decor definitely left an impression, especially in the bathroom, and I got a good laugh. I was initially concerned about checking in after midnight, but I felt relief after seeing people arrive after me. I really appreciated the direct access to U Wittenbergplatz and the bars in Schöenberg. Would happily stay here again!

Very bad experience. We have already stayed at this hotel before. It's the first time we have this kind of service. The price of the room doesn't change but there's no room service during the whole stay. We put the right flyer on the door. We asked twice at the reception to clean the room and have new shower items... That's no effect. So. For this price we can expect more service. Very disappointed by this 3 nights.

Curious design art hotel. Check in and check out staff were efficient and helpful. Room was comfortable and had view of the nearby park. Unfortunately, the room assigned had a distinct odour and had to shift rooms mid stay. Staff handled this well. The superior room did not have a small desk but was comfortable.

I had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at Mercure. The room was spacious and it was very nice to have a balcony. That gave me an extra dimension to take in the view and surroundings of the hotel. The decor and interior was colourful and fresh. Only one thing I didn’t like. Carpet on the floor. With a balcony and rain the carpet gets wet and more dirty. However I did not let that take away all the other great things about the room. I ordered food-delivery and was told by on of receptionist that it was not allowed to have it delivered up to room and I had to collect it downstairs at ground floor. Mentioned this at check-out and was told that this wasn’t correct and apologised for the incident. I know that for next time I visit, because I’d really like to revisit. Great location and super nice hotel. Whether you’re single, couple or family, I do think this venue has something to offer for you.

I haven't stayed here for a couple of years but it was better than I remembered. Great staff, good location, not bad prices nice rooms and a good breakfast. What more do you want in a mid-price hotel?

The room was comfortable and exactly what I needed. I had an easy time checking in and out, and they also called a cab for me to get to the airport when I checked out. The bartender, Marius I think, was also great. Made fantastic drinks.

For star prices, but three star service — or rather lack of it. The hotel looks great from pictures, but rooms are not that luxurious. Strange woman judging you on the bathroom wall might be rather disturbing. We stayed from Monday to Monday and there were 0 days without some problems with the service. Apparently they don't have enough cleaning staff and the reception staff are not up to their tasks. Understandably hospitality business has suffered unfairly from Covid, but if they don't have enough qualified staff they should be open and forthcoming about the issue — not sell four star experience that they're unable to provide. Seems like Accor has decided to make the customers pay for their problems and don't even apologize for it.

Excellent rooms. Good breakfast spread. But couldn't get the rooms on time during check in and was asked to leave the luggage and come back later. Not something anyone looks forward after a long trip. Location wise, excellent as the ubahn station is just opposite.

2 stars because the girl at the reception (on Wednesday 13th) really rude and unkind. The rest, absolutely good hotel, but the kindness of the staff is a key thing

Very quirky decor here, especially in the rooms. All of the furniture, including the bed, was very stiff but at the end of the day, totally functional. I think the biggest selling point for this place is its location. I would stay here again just for its location in the city. Everything seemed easily accessible from here.

I stayed at the Mercure Hotel with a friend for 4 nights. The staff were really nice and helpful. Location is great, with the underground station just in front of the hotel. Rooms are clean but not very large. Overall it was great!

Ein hervorragendes Hotel in bester Lage. Von hier aus lässt sich in kürzester Zeit alles erreichen. U-Bahn, Shopping, täglicher Bedarf... alles in der Nähe. Sehr zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal und schön gestaltete Zimmer (das große Foto der Dame in den Zimmern ist keineswegs verstörend ;-)....) runden den Aufenthalt ab. Der abendliche Blick auf den Wittenbergplatz ist toll. Frühstücksbuffet ist ausreichend und gut. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Love the area and the accessibility of the public transport right in front of the hotel. Furthermore, I appreciate the kind and welcoming staff. The hotel room was very clean and very well-equipped. This was my second stay, and I am happy to come back.

Clean and comfortable. Excellent location for the gay area. Really excellent shopping and transport links also. A really minor point but in the UK we're used to one big quilt. Here, it was split into two smaller ones which I personally found uncomfortable. Apparently it's a German thing (the more you know right)?

First of all, this is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in Berlin. The staff takes exceptional care of their guests. I have never been denied support on any topic here. The cleaning staff and the reception staff are very nice people. I feel at home in this hotel. I have previously stayed at many hotels in Berlin, but since I discovered Mercure on Wittenbergplatz I no longer want to change my place of stay in this city. I will definitely visit it again soon

The location of the hotel is excellent. Very clean, friendly personell, lavish breakfast. Nice decoration, mini bar and safe inside the rooms. Size of the rooms and beds average.

What a wonderful experience I had with this hotel. I was a female solo traveler (Oct 2023), exceptional service, felt safe and the room was perfect. The breakfast was superb, the staff assisted me with breaking big bills too. The location was perfect, my bus tour was just around the corner, location location indeed.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner and had a brilliant time. The hotel is in the most perfect location, directly outside the Wittenbergplatz station which is great for access to key areas like Potsdamer Platz and Alexandplatz. The room was spacious and incredibly clean, my only complaint was it was a really hot room and the AC didn’t seem to work. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was good! If I’m going to visit Berlin again, I would stay there again!

Long weekend stay was enjoyable in a clean quiet room. However, unfortunately the room tv didn’t support streaming of mobile content, which was sad as the tv still was offering this option. Did not work, this was confirmed by receptionist, too.

Checked into this Mercure hotel recently for 2 nights. Friendly checkin staff and provided with the welcome drink. Room is very good, a privileged room which was upgraded, means the mini bar drinks are inclusive. Breakfast is very good! Especially the self service juicing machine! Location is strategic, just across the Wittenbergplatz station serves by U2. Nearby there are many shopping options too.

Overall this hotel was great for my stay in Berlin. Located very close to many things and easy to get around Berlin being so close to the UBahn. The room was the perfect size and the cleanliness was top notch. My only complaint would be the inability for the overnight staff to provide anything to guests, such as a bottle of water.

Pros: Super accessible to public transit; absolutely AMAZING shower + water pressure; delicious breakfast -- probably the best I've had in a hotel. Cons: Uncomfortable sheets on the bed; the tiniest fridge I've seen; large, disturbing portraits of a lady who stares into your soul in the main room and bathroom.

We stayed at the Mercure Wittenbergplatz for a month in 2023 – and we couldn’t have been happier with the hotel. This is a great place to stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a nice view of Wittenbergplatz (great location). But the best thing about the hotel is the wonderful staff. The reception staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful – the breakfast staff are pleasant and very attentive. All the staff at this hotel seem to go out of their way to make your stay here a good one. We would love to stay here again.

Great location and service and rooms pretty good. Unfortunately, every room has a huge, weird picture of a young woman both looking down at you above the bed, and also staring at you in the shower and toilet. This is somewhat disturbing.

Very good location and nice colors in the room. However, the rooms are cold from the windows during the winter and cold floor in both bathroom and the room. The staff does not pay much attention to the guests during the stay.

The hotel is located at Wittenbergplatz, so slightly away from the main attractions but very easy to reach using public transport. In a way, it's located in between some of the places like Potsdam and the museum Island. For the shopping enthusiasts, there is a lot to do around :) the kadewe mall is just a minute walk and the street after that has lots of nice shops. The interiors are beautiful and modern, based on the fashion theme. Great team and services. Was a bit surprised to not have got checkin at 1300 when the hotel seemed not quite busy. Overall would recommend this hotel highly for those visiting Berlin with family

Great location, U2 station right outside your door. Easy to whizz into city centre and back in minutes. Breakfast was perfect. Zack on reception was very helpful and had good knowledge of local bars and restaurants. Saigon Foods just round the corner was a great find. Highly recommend this hotel.

Just next to KaDeWe and No. 2 Subway. Very convenient. Nice rooms with a nice view. Friendly helpful staff.

Nice hotel in perfect location right beside U2 and near shopping district. The rooms were good but they didn't have non carpet options and the large picture of the woman is odd. The breakfast was ok and it could be improved.

The best Mercure hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is excellent. The hotel staff is very friendly. The room is modern, nice, quiet, well equipped. Bed and sofa are comfortable. There was only one thing I couldn't understand: Why there was no welcome gift for ALL members.

Okay, service was mixed, but on whole good. Room was nice & location great for KaDeWe. Room was kept clean but schedules for cleaning a bit irregular. I’d consider staying again, especially if price good.

Looks like a nice hotel, the staff is very friendly and the location is great. Just a few things that could’ve improved the experience- the blankets and pillows weren’t very good, just small and flimsy. And the bar was closed for the entire stay for no explainable reason. We tried to ask and couldn’t get a good answer. And it wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but there’s postings all around the hotel about the bar and how it’s always open. So that was just annoying.

My stay at the Mecure was good Breakfast was good and room was clean nicely decorated. The Location was great. I Didn’t have a good nights sleep as the pillows were awful. Small and lumpy and completely unsuitable for a good nights sleep.

Check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was cozy and quiet (facing towards the backyard). I would have preferred a proper desk to work at but they did have a bedside table with adjustable height that turned out to be OK. I found the breakfast to be very good (incl. made-to-order eggs on request). Location couldn't be more convenient.

Stylish design, friendly staff and great location. Also a lot quieter than expected. The room could use more space to store luggage and a proper desk. There is also no room service which was a big disappointment. And the breakfast options are expensive - much cheaper to hit up a local cafe around the corner.

Initial impression of the lobby and manager was laid back, friendly and welcoming. I was in Room 101, which was all the way in the back of the hotel. It was very quiet. At night, all I could hear were the kitchen sounds from a restaurant below. The room was very warm, and the cooling system didn't really do anything to offset the summer heat. The room was modern and the bed was comfortable. The location is great. It is across the street from a subway station, and there are a lot of restaurants and street food vendors directly adjacent to the hotel. KaDeWe is about 100' away. It is a block with a pleasant amount of street life.

Finally found a good hotel which is near a lot of good places Very good location, like we are almost neighbors of the largest department stores KaDeWe, restaurants, public transportation One small negative point, hotel and room is very warm, can say is hot inside. Gladly we can open the window otherwise cannot sleep because is too hot! Need to adjust. Already know increasing energy and gas prices so why still use a lot of this to make hot inside

Well located, very clean, great staff - always very helpful & polite. Before our visit, I had to contact the hotel a couple of times with queries about arrival time, transport from the airport etc & I always received a quick response that answered my query each time.

Great hotel. The rooms are very clean, new, with great amenities. We had a coffee machine in our room which was very useful. It is right by the underground system, so it's easy to get to other parts of Berlin. The only drawback for me, is that the neighborhood is really quiet, it's not the most vibrant area in Berlin.

Wonderful hotel. Just across the road from the hotel is the train station. Close to shops and restaurants. Very good restaurant next door on the left as you exit the hotel. Breakfast is fabulous. A great selection of food with excellent service.

Excellent hotel in great location (right next to KaDeWe) with very attentive staff. Rooms are good size, very clean and comfortable. We had a room with a balcony, and it was worth it. The breakfast buffet has everything you need to fuel up in the morning!! Best are freshly baked croissants and juice station. Highly recommended!!

From before the check-in the front desk was able to accommodate our needs thoroughly and swift. The rooms were cleaned every day and fresh water was provided. Breakfast was amazing with many options for everyone.

I have stayed at this wonderful hotel since they opened years back, and I have always been satisfied. The breakfast buffet is very good and the staff is very polite, smiling and professional - thank you to all! I would though comment on the cleanliness of the bathroom - it could be better. Some days there was long hairs on the floor and in the shower, though I'm bald, and the sink was turning yellow, which I think is coming from the lime in the water. Besides of this I will definitely come back soon to your fantastic hotel.

Die Lage hat mich überzeugt, allerdings war das Designs des Zimmers mehr als gruselig. Überall starrt einen eine seltsame Frau an, selbst in der Dusche. Man fühlt sich 100% unwohl und fragt sich, ob der Designer Drogen genommen hat. Ein gewichtiger Grund für mich, nicht mehr dorthin zu gehen. Das Personal war allerdings sehr freundlich.
