Starting with the pros: excellent location in the west part of Berlin, urban concept inspired by the Berlin zoo, big rooms, friendly and attentive staff, great breakfast, The cons: the room lighting. The concept of "dimmed lighting" creates a dark room, impractical for a business guest to work on a laptop or participates in a video call, not to mention to shave properly... If 25Hrs desires to cater business travelers, it should redesign the lighting above the desk and the mirror I score the hotel 5 stars, because Google reviews are mainly aimed towards leisure travelers. That said, some adjustments to cater business guests would make it perfect for business clientele as well..

Great hotel! Love the vibes, many plants and love the room, I got a room with facing to the zoo park. Clean room and friendly staff!

Such a bad experience. It haunted us even after we left this place. Few days after our leave, I received an email from the hotel reception accusing us that we have stolen a sound system and a monkey dull (Schlafaffe & Boombox). We were threatened that if we don’t return this, they will charge our creditcard for 224€! Having not received a proper reply or apology, I had to go the extra mile, waste my time and revoke their access. When we arrived we were given a room with a broken TV on the floor which we had to put aside to be able to move around easily. The so-called free minibar (water, beer, one chocolate, a total of 10€ maybe) was never refilled during our 4 day stay. When I asked if there’s a gym, they gave me a mcfit card for which they charged me €15 fee “per day”. The gym itself charges that much for guest visits. Overall this felt like an experience in far-east tourist areas running hotel scams. I asked to be put in contact with a supervisor after the threatening email, but have received no reply. Cheap.

Great hotel in the heart of Berlin with views over the Berlin Zoo (if you're lucky or book it) with some nice features like the goggles in the room to watch the animals or two separate areas of toilet and shower and an open sink in the room. The checkin- ans out was super uncomplicated and very friendly and knowledgeable. The mini bar was free!

Great boutique hotel ideally located from train station (Zoo, only 45 mins from airport direct), comfy design rooms and lovely service, both laid back and efficient. You can rent top modern bikes for 10 euros a day.. Cozy rooftop bar with great views and full breakfast, I cannot wait to be back thanks!

I am very dissappointed with the staff at the 25hours bikini hotel in Berlin. They were not helpul with handling a situation that happened to me during my stay at the hotel. I’ve stayed at the 25hours hotel in Berlin over 3 weeks ago (9.08-10.08.2021). My daughter left her favourite toy - white bunny in the room that we stayed in (most likely in bed because she sleeps with it). We left the hotel the next morning and when she realized that her favourite toy is missing we came back to the hotel right away and asked at the front desk if the person cleaning the room found it. Unfortunately, we were told that the bunny was not found. I asked the person at the front desk to check the room that we stayed in once again, ask the cleaning lady and check their loundry (maybe the bunny got mixed with the bed linens). The person at the front desk promised that he is going to look for the bunny and the hotel will send it back to us to Poland. This toy has a very strong sentimental value to our whole family because my daughter got it as a present on the day she was born. She really misses her bunny and asks me every single day if it was already found. I’ve been sending emails and calling the hotel but the hotel stopped writing me back and when I call they tell me there is nothing they can do. How is it possible that the bunny vanished??

I WILL NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN. I STAYD THERE MANY TIMES AND I BOOKED A ROOM FOR THIS WEEK.. A MASSIVE TRAIN STRIKE IN GERMANY MADE MY TRIP IMPOSSIBLE HENCE I HAD TO RESCHEDULE AND THE HOTEL REFUSED TO GIVE ME A CREDIT OR A VOUCHER. THEY BASICALLY STOLE MY MONEY AND REFUSED ANY FURTHER DISCUSSION. I WILL NEVER STAY NOR EAT IN THIS PLACE. A BUNCH OF MONEY GREEDY PEOPLE. THERE ARE MANY NICE PLACES AND I HOPE THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE GO OUT OF BUSINESS SOON. I WILL ALSO PERSUE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THEM.

Hotel itself was nice, rooms are comfy but the reception and management team are below standard. We paid part of our stay using ACCOR ALL points. At the beginning guys at the reception didn’t wanted to deduct points part from our bill and at the end(two months later) they have taken extra 3k points from our account with no reason. We talk to manager, she promised to take care of it, but instead of that, couple of days after phone they took another 1k points from our account. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous, entire team should be kicked off and replaced by people who know what they do.

Such a fantastic hotel with a cool theme — the highlights were: 1) breakfast in the restaurant on the 10th floor with a view over the zoo (we saw an orangutan one day, which was just so cute), 2) the sauna on the 9th floor that is heated to 90 degrees (yay! Finally a hotel with a decently warm sauna heheh) and 3) the staff were so nice and helpful. We loved our stay 🤩 the only very small nit-picky comment would be that I did not appreciate the wooden stairs in the room we were in as I kept hitting my foot on them. Still 4.9/5 stars ✨🫶🏻

Would highly recommend staying here! Such a cute hotel with everything you could possibly need at your reach. You can rent bikes for just 10€/day, lounge in the sauna and watch the orangutans while sipping on teas and beers, hang around the lobby in the hammocks or lounge areas, or just walk around the area and have access to lots of delicious restaurants and shopping. The bus stop is right outside and a very quick jaunt to all the major trains. Very accessible and in a safe area!

Fantastic hotel, surprising at first site as the decoration and style of the hotel is rather unusual, but really great experience. Fantastic rooms, great location, very warm and nice welcome by the staff, excellent food in the restaurant, stunning view at the tenth floor. I do recommend this hotel.

In the middle of Berlin. Welcoming and friendly staff. Easy Check in and reservation. Clean and beautifully designed rooms. The restaurant is good and Bar too. But be sure to make a reservation

The location is great but trying too hard to be a cool place. Unfortunately, their cool vibe is not matched by their antiquated IT and reservation system.😂 It took a while to check in and out because they had to do one room at a time - and we only had two rooms! Service not good too and staff feeling too cool to actually provide good service. Once you’ve booked, expect they will ignore all your questions by email.

I visited here with my 2 year old in August 2022. I’m reviewing now because it’s been been over a year and she still talks about it and asks to go back. Seeing the monkeys and sitting in a hammock by the window was one of her most memorable life events so far. The hotel isn’t really aimed at families, but we found it to be perfect for a short stay. Thank you for giving us a room with such an amazing view.

Beautiful room and excellent service. The breakfast is great and I love that everywhere has amazing panoramic views. Was very pleasantly surprised by the experience here.

If you like the style of the 25hours hotels this one won't disappoint, location next to the Berlin Zoo and 5 mins from KaDeWe is perfect. Service was rather mediocre and the lady at the coffee corner must have had a bad day. Didn't try the bar nor the restaurant this time but heard good things.

A unique experience, very modern and futuristic Hotel. A place with soul, not your usual hotel. The staff are friendly, service and cleanliness are very high. It’s is very close to the center and next to it there is various places for food and partying at night. Recommend 👍

The host on the bottom floor, with clearly quite the attitude problem and easily damaged ego I believe called “Sammy”, after speaking to me and my partner in the worst tone for 0 reason, would make anyone not want to stay here. Also looking through more recent reviews on the “Monkey Bar” page this is clearly not the first time he has spoken to customers this way. Telling people to go “home”. My advice, please seek customer service training ASAP.

Already want to go back! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, beautifully designed rooms and excellent breakfast (!!!) The hotel has a well-thought concept and staying there was like being a part of an experience. The other guests were very friendly too. 100% recommend

Very positive characteristic hotel with nice atmospheric rooms and delicious breakfast. Beautiful restaurant both inside and outside on terrace. Nice details in the room are the free minibar and items for use such as a travel bag & Bluetooth speaker but for us the selling points were the Tiergarten view, the hammock and of course the good bed 😊

My stay at the 25h Bikini Hotel sounds like a bad joke. There was literal sewage (Abwasser) dripping through the ceiling of my room and at least two other rooms, which came from the a burst pipe two floors up. When I reported this to the reception, they said they were just starting out at the hotel, and the maintenance staff or on call manager were not picking up their phone. They did not offer me another room, they did not offer to move me to another hotel, instead they offered me to sleep in a hammock (Hängematte) in the hotel bar, which was mostly deserted, but they wouldn't turn down the music or the lights in "my corner". I complained about the problem after my stay, and we agreed to me getting a voucher for a stay at another 25h hotel. After several phone calls, and unanswered emails, I'm pretty sure they never intended to follow through on this. Apparently, this problem had occurred before but it was not a priority to properly fix the piping. Attached is a picture of a towel when I first tried to clean up the dripping water. You can enjoy the nice brown color.

Great hotel and great location, also the breakfast is awesome! However the people at the reception are super unfriendly and couldn't manage the booking through our company. On the phone not really better. Please treat your guests with respect! They are paying a lot for the rooms.

Modern, quirky hotel on top of the shopping centre and near the HbF, with fun views over the zoo. The rooms are generously sized, with the larger rooms in particular sporting in-room baths, working area and sitting area. You get a free bike (!) in your room and in-bath underwater Bluetooth speakers. Gimmicks aside the hammock in the window to watch the zoo animals is lovely (although I wonder who is watching whom!). Staff are friendly and the cafe/reception has a chilled vibe - similar to a CitizenM or other open/stylish/road warrior places. There’s a rooftop bar and an outdoor cafe that’s on the roof of the shopping centre. Prices vary greatly so look out for a bargain price, which - if secured - make this a must-try in Berlin. At rack rate it’s less clear cut. However I’ve stayed here 4 times and it’s the first place I check for a business trip.

Visited the restaurant and bar for a business meeting. Food - limited choices, was decent. I had the steak which was cooked just right. The monkey bar was a nice place to be at on a Sunday. Good eye-candies around. Drinks not too overly priced. Overall a nice place

Super cool vibe in the hotel. Each room have their own touch. Great breakfast, nice and busy bar. Definitely would come back if I go back to Berlin. Right next to the Zoo, shops and public transport.

Incredible staff and the rooms were stunning! The mini bar was included which is a lovely addition. The staff went above and beyond for us, supplying us with information on nearby sites and for our future travels through Europe. If you're considering going for one of the "Jungle View" rooms it is more than worth it! We could see orang-utans while relaxing in the hammock in our room 😯 Of course, you can see a similar view from the sauna which is in pristine condition and use is included in your hotel stay. This is the second 25hrs we've stayed at and so far we are immensely impressed with both their consistently high standards and the unique flair of each building.

So I can see why certain people would like this, but its really a particular taste one must have. This hotel is a very unique place. the decor and furniture. If you like challenging the status quo of hotels, visit this place. The challenge for me and some of the folks I was with for some business meetings, was that the beds are all on the floor, and we didn't have that easy of a time getting in and out of bed. I guess this decision was made by some well fit 20 year olds. LOL! The view each morning from the breakfast restaurant is amazing overlooking the Berlin zoo and surrounding areas. Our meeting place was a box, and I guess for 9 people was about the most size appropriate but was tight, and almost claustrophobic at times. Maybe think of a little more space for business meetings for 10-12 people. I would have given it 4 stars if it weren't for those low beds!

Rooftop bar is very nice for the breakfast! A kit for filter coffee making was very welcome. I booked the largest room. It's looks interesting. But if spending more than five minute in the room, it appears very small. It's very uncomfortable space to spend your time, akin to an Ibis-sized room experience. It has no roaming space, the whole part of room taken by floor-bound bed is inaccessible after getting up; the sofa is quite uncomfortable; TV is of computer display size, but still interferes with valuable space.

We had a jungle room with amazing views over the Tiergarten and Berlin. The room was full of nice and thoughtful surprises but most importantly: the breakfast was great and well worth it.

  • 5/5 Dmitriy S. 2 years ago on Google
don't know how much did it cost. if you don't need to pay its simply amazing.

  • 5/5 Avi F. 1 year ago on Google
Cool hotel. The view from the jungle room is stunning, the design of the room is a modern open space. However, as a 40 year old guest I sometimes felt that coolness came at the expense of comfort. An important bonus: hotel guests have access without queuing to the popular Monkey rooftop bar.

Such a cool hotel chain which I always recommend for shorter trips. Super inviting and totally down-to-earth. Rooms are very clean and cozy. Huge bathrooms and even a decent view. Highly recommend.

Wirklich sehr schade, keine Empfehlung
