Really liked the hotel, felt luxurious and special. Guest services were really friendly. It was a bit out of the way from U or S bahn but you could walk in around 15 / 20 minutes. We used taxi's a fair bit for this reason. Hotel was near perfect, the issue for us was the bar service just wasn't great, it was slow / hard to be served and this extended to room service which we tried to order one night because my partner wasn't well, we rang three times with no answer, went to the bar and no one served- so ended up ordering uber eats which just felt strange to do in such a nice hotel.

Such a beautiful and relaxing bar. The interior is very tasteful design, good wine. Only the Moscow mule should have been served in copper, not glass. Very good live music as well.

As a wedding photographer I had the privilege to photograph a modern Berlin wedding here and it was a dream. The location is amazing and everything is very beautiful and classy. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly and I am more than happy with how the images of this stunning event turned out.

Room was very disappointing with no view whatsoever. Disorganized staff. My room was not cleaned during the entire stay. Room service food was disappointing. However, location of the hotel was good.

Yesterday my wife and I booked the long brunch in Das Stue hotel. The food was great, but we needed to wait around 35 min. for an order food or tea. It was very crowded, we couldn't find the staff to order. After order, they forgot our food, so we had to repeat the order. Generally for this price we aren't happy. People are running here and there but avoiding to get an order. It was sad surprise.

Such an excellent hotel. I had an issue with my room shower and they were able to fix it immediately with no further issues. They were easy to deal with and recommended some fantastic restaurants to go to. I was recommended this hotel by my parents who stayed here a few years ago. And boy it lives up to expectations. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Perfect for a stay in Berlin.

Such an amazing hotel. I stayed here back in July and didn't want to leave. My stay was painfully short, but the room was immaculate, my view of the zoo was great; the reception, restaurant, and room service staff were all absolutely stellar. It's superb.

A perfect, secluded sanctuary in the middle of Berlin. Perfect service, perfect views over Tiergarten, perfect food, perfect stay. The feeling of being in a retreat in a space within but separate from the city is wonderful!

Super posh but reasonably priced hotel near Berlin Zoo. I can see animals from my window! Really well designed, good service.

I recently stayed at the Das Stue and can recommend it without reservation. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are decently sized and comfortably appointed. The pool was rarely used which allowed for daily lap swimming. The staff is polite, helpful and competent. The location is mixed bag - it was great to be on the park and I loved overlooking the zoo but it was a bit removed so involved some walking or a car to get to any urban activities. But overall it was very enjoyable and I will stay there again.

Booked this hotel for the anniversary for the date 13-15.10. When I was making a reservation no one told me that during check-in the hotel gonna block on my card 400(!)€, just in case I would like to use the mini bar - ridiculous situation. I didn’t have this kind of situation in any hotel I have visited. For this amount of money I could take my partner for a great dinner in a nice restaurant. Second thing - hotel didn’t inform me that, of course they have a parking for the hotel guests, but you have to pay for this, because it’s a city parking. When I booked the hotel I asked them about the menu and wine list - wanted to make something special for my partner. I received everything - one day before our trip… The 5* hotel isn’t about spa and pool. It’s all about the small details and clear situation. And you failed - our anniversary is not special and I feel bad since I came here. Ps. Didn’t get my points for the AccorApp.

Incredible service, beautiful room, perfect location. The bar looks into the Berlin Zoo. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Magical hotel with personality, discretion, style and a zen attitude that is both inspirational and contagious -- a beautiful spot to call home for a vacation or for an afternoon. Quiet bar with views of Zoo and Tiergarten are not to be missed. Friendly staff who are professional and helpful anticipating your every need.

The room is beautiful. We got one with high ceeling (5-6 meters) and view of the Tiergarten. Big bed and nice bed linen. All amenities that you need. If I would change 1 thing it would probably be the TV. The gym is small and the most heavy weight is 10kg. They have a treadmill, bike and crosstrainer. But 2steps outside you are in the beautifully aTiergarten. The bar is excellent. So much different types of Gin and also knowledgeble staff! Breakfast was excellent, was a little bit worried because some reviews didnt like it. A la carte & a small buffet and everything we tried was amazing, if I have to choose 1 thing it is omelette with truffle. SPA was nice, and treatment was good. So as you can guess I would highly recommend this Hotel! The best thing with the hotel is the Staff! I will not mention anyone by name because everyone we met was so great. And I cant write down 15 names :)

Amazing hotel with an awesome staff but don’t come in the summer. The rooms are boiling with low internet services and damaged pool

The staff was extremely welcoming to me and my family. We stayed at SO Das Stue for the Berlin Marathon and everyone was so nice and courteous to us. When we checked in, the front desk had some water for us as well as a stuffed animal for our 10 month old son. Farook, the bellman, was extremely helpful with loading us into the car or getting things to our room. He was always there to lend a hand without us having to ask. Always happy, always friendly. After the Marathon we went to Munich for Oktoberfest. We were able to keep some extra luggage with the hotel while we were away. When we came back to stay at Das Stue for one night before our flight out of Berlin the next day, upon entering our room, the luggage we kept at the hotel was already there waiting for us along with a great bottle of champagne and some fruit and chocolates. Will definitely come back to SO Das Stue the next time our travels brings us back to Berlin. 10/10.

Super friendly stuff, cosy place food is alright maybe not my taste, as I like huge meals without too many fancy stuffs but I assume one would visit this place exactly because of how fancy it is. I can recommend.

Strolling through Tiergarten and the „Hansaviertel“ with a hot cup of Apple 🍏-Thyme-punch or a coffee ☕️ in your hand is very comfortable and keeps your hands warm as well, especially as „The Stue“ is close by. The Apple 🍏-Thyme-punch was so yummie! You have to try it! It is available every Saturday from 11:00 - 16:00. Please check „The Stue“‘s instagram account. „The Stue“ is an amazing hotel 🏨 offering fantastic food! Let‘s support your local dealer!

Dropped by Stue Bar for a late Friday night supper following a local concert. An elegant crowd as always. Super chill bartender Conrad expertly mixed our cocktails. My girlfriend's Irish Coffee was sheer perfection starting with the flaming brandy sniffer. My martini was exactly how I prefer mine. The bacon and cheese burger with fries was a super upscale delight. Now, imagine all of this with a DJ spinning incredible, mellow beats in a sumptuously deluxe bar and lounge, while Antonioni's über cool classic BLOWUP is silently screening? Oh, yes... We'll be back - soon! 6 out of 5!!! ******

Worst 5 star in the past two years I have stayed!! For most a 4 star fancy hostel!! 😅 and it’s not a joke😅😅 Dear Owner/Dennis, Usually I would not rate the properties I stayed especially not negative experience. However I felt obligated to do this because of course my very personal bad experience. Since you appreciate honest feedback and also there is a clear misunderstanding about the taste and personal preferences. I would like to update this review to provide you insights. However it was surprising for me that your executive assistant had time to check out my personal linked in account but seems had no time to discuss with your staff what have happened. So here you go, let me help you to understand what my very personal experience is in the top three most pricy 5 star hotels in Berlin. First day arrival: Valet parking: Was told by the bell man that he does not know how to park a car. So I should leave the car to the front door and someone will park it. Luggage deliver: Was told that I should check in and then come back to the bell man which room it is and then he can do his job... (first time ever in a five star hotel) Check in: No smile the whole check in process... no joking... not a smile or any small chat at all... the staff next desk had a few eye contacts also no smile and turned away her head immediately... it was strange.. Room: There is about 50cm Crack on the wall directly facing the bed!!! if you sit on the bed there is no way you miss it. I called to change the room and was told there is no availability. Later there was a maintenance staff came to check the wall damage and said there is no influence of me using the room. So I should just live in it..... I came to the front desk in person to complain and ask for the change. Again said there is no chance to change. Will check if the next day it could be changed. However no one ever came back to me. Second day: Parking: When I asked for my car, I was just handed over my key and that's it!! Then I asked where my car is... Guess what... No one knows. The front desk had to ask who parked my car and where it is! At the end, we found the car - it was on the bicycle drive way of the hotel - blocked the bike way. There is no valet parking - no one told me. Check out: Finally there is someone in the front desk smiled and ask how was my experience. I was told my parking fee was waived due to the inconvenience of a wall cracking room... The parking that was no roof on a bicycle drive way that blocked the road - which was not even a parking. Other small things might be my personal preferences that not worth to mention: Tiny bathroom/toilet, all lounging areas are at the back of the stair ways on each floors leaves little use of them... etc... \ To be fair, the hotel was decorated stylish; breakfast was good and half of the restaurant staffs were nice. I also had two cocktails worth of a 3 star/5 rather than a 1/star for the hotel. Maybe It was just unfortunately coincidence. However I wished my 48 hours stay had management paid attention to my complains. We moved to Adlon later on. I guess I won't need to tell you that With the price you pay, believe me, Berlin has so much better places and service to offer!!!

One of the most posh places in Berlin. That said, das Stue never makes you feel as if you're in a posh place. The staff is friendly and caring. With seemingly no effort whatsoever they manage to make you feel at home.

Favorite fancy and cozy bar with mind blowing lemon tart dessert and stylish design somehow related to the zoo. Amazing service and food!

This is an exceptional hotel. The staff are wonderful, morning, and night. The front desk people are very helpful and the porter was a gem, giving us some excellent guidance as he set up our bicycles for the day. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and the location is away from the tourist crush, right in the edge of beautiful Tiergarten. The area around it is fun (try the Hat Bar for great jazz and the Helmut Newton museum for incredible photography). We will definitely return to this hotel.

Five star experience. Had better beds and food, but the location is really an oasis and makes up for any shortcomings

Good food, but you have to wait forever. Why would they offer brunch and then have only one guy in the kitchen? Not sure we will visit again

Our recent experience at Hotel SO/Berlin Das Stue was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and warmth that remained consistent throughout my stay. The staff's attentiveness and professionalism were standout features. They went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our visit was impeccable, from check-in to personalized assistance throughout my stay. The room was not just a place to rest; it was a sanctuary of comfort and luxury. The attention to detail in the room's design and amenities was remarkable, offering a perfect blend of modern convenience and cozy relaxation. The facilities and services provided were top-notch. The spa was a haven of tranquility. Overall, our stay at SO/Berlin Das Stue surpassed all expectations.

I never write reviews but Matia (concierge) was over the top fun and knowledgeable! He recommended all the best restaurants and walking tours in Berlin. Hotel is modern, luxurious boutique in a quiet neighborhood next to the beautiful park. I stayed there 2 nights and I would definitely go back.

Beyond rude. My partner and I had really bad food poisoning from the room service and were out for 2 days. To date, it’s the worse food poisoning we have had. And the way they dealt with it did not was not hospitable or apologetic; they were very hostile, defensive and antagonistic and the way they looked at us was very condescending and discriminatory—like they wanted to ban us for making a complaint. Completely flipped the situation around. Quite shocking when we ate their food and had this happen. If they had approached this matter with some professionalism and an apology, that might have redirected the entire experience. Very bad service lined with unsavoury characters. The rooms aren’t great; the cleaning below standard, food definitely suspicious and causes adverse gastric effects (for us); very overrated and undeserving of its 5 star rating. Our stay was a while back but nonetheless definitely ranked as one of our worst hotel stays to date. Time has not helped lessen this bad memory. Still felt compelled to write this review (that’s how bad our stay was).
