DO NOT STAY HERE. We paid in advance for this property and still left as soon as we could find alternative accommodation regardless of forfeiting our money. Where to begin. The lack of communication? The state of the apartment? Public hairs on the towel rack in the bathroom, an ashtray full of cigarettes on the balcony, stains on the sheets, stains on the floor, finger prints and grease marks all over the kitchen. If I could review a lower score I would. Be warned about this place.

Unfortunately, in this case Schoenhouse doesn't have much to do with beautiful. It was not clearly shown on the homepage or via AirBnB that it is just a room in which four people have to sleep. The sofa bed kept pushing itself apart and was extremely uncomfortable. The furnishings are generally rather simple, both visually and qualitatively. The bathroom didn't work at all. Some of the silicone joints had mold stains, the shower head and all fittings need to be replaced. The water pressure is a joke. The bathroom seems dirty right from the start and smells of the previous person's urine. Simply poorly cleaned. Paper cups for brushing teeth... Unfortunately, the kitchenette does not have an oven or microwave. Only two hobs. Even though there was Marathon and Messer in Berlin during our time, it is simply a disgrace to charge a high four-figure amount for a week for such accommodation. There will be no more Limehome for us.

Very nice hotel/apartment stay as room was very clean with very nice sheets provided, clean floors, and nice bathrooms. Downside includes no A/C (at least in our provided room) and the sofa sleeper bed provided for the 2nd couple was very uncomfortable. Would stay again depending on time of year if no A/C in rooms as July and August temperatures could make rooms too hot to cool down from after a long day of sightseeing.

Great location in any case (center of Berlin)! The entrance leather was very dirty, and everything was very complicated with these codes. The apartment is very large, but unfortunately with very little furniture, so it comes across as very empty. The beds are okay and not too hard. Unfortunately, the bathroom is very bad because the flush didn't work and the power generator was humming the whole time, etc. Otherwise the view is fine except for the backyard. In the end I would say that the three nights we had there were enough for me!

Amazing Apartments, great location, 2 minutes from ubahn Station.close to Alexanderplatz. Clean safe area with plenty of cafes/bars within walking distance. Apartment was large and clean with kitchen/bathroom area. Staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English. Loved our time there

I loved this accommodation. We made the reservation from Madrid, online and all the information was sent to you very clearly. We arrived and we didn't have to talk to anyone since with the information we knew what to do, where to go and how to get in. I found the place beautiful, everything very clean, fully equipped with everything you need, very nice decoration, comfortable and practical. The only downside I would say is the sofa bed which was quite uncomfortable. Otherwise recommended

This is the most controversial I’ve ever been. I cant say it’s good hotel & @ the same time you can’t consider it bad hotel at all I will tell the bad things i my situation in the beginning. 1- No Reception … if you need any thing no one can help you 2- If you have a car … then you are in trouble. There is no parking and if you managed to find one its paid from 0900 till 0000 3- No elevators, so if you have toddlers, pregnant lady, elders or baby stroller you will be in trouble because the stairs are not only very hard like climbing a mountain but also narrow 4 Some rooms have no doors between the living room & the bed room and both sharing the toilet so you cant stay in the same flat with If you r ok with the above you will be really happy in the place because its really clean and beds and even the sofa bed are comfortable and its so near by Alexanderplatz, brandenberg, the Old berlin Wall and lots of the tourist areas

Expensive disaster!!! Cleanliness zero! Very dark, no noise insulation, no work table, kitchen without microwave, without oven (with stove, kettle, coffee machine, refrigerator)... No washing machine. Refrigerator not clean, toilet not clean, dust everywhere, door not clean... Once a week a cleaning lady comes and does everything in 15 minutes: change the bed linen, throw away the garbage, and what she probably calls "cleaning". . Over 200 euros per night for 45 m2! Without breakfast! In Hilton is cheaper! Never never never again!!!

Nice place! We really enjoy our stay here. The only think to bear in mind is that there is no housekeeping service during your stay. The location is good. There is a metro station 2 blocks away and alexanderplatz is 10 blocks away from the apartments. The service is great. Everything was clean when we arrive and the apartment is big and modern. We definitely recommend it!

Pro: - Centrally located - Rewe right around the corner Con: - No possibility to park anywhere. Parking expensive - I was in 4th floor, no elevator - Poor WiFi connection - Noisy floor because it’s an old building - Simple supplies were not refilled by housekeeping (soap, shampoo, salt..) - No dishwasher - Apartment is spacious but looks empty and not very cozy. Could spend a few hundreds on paintings and carpet - Have to enter via a cafe which is crowded sometimes and does not feel very nice

Very nice apartments. The location is great. Unfortunately no elevator. But otherwise highly recommended.

This place used to be very charming and affordable. Now, with limehome, they took the reception away. You only have a 15 digit door code with a black screen and if anything goes wrong you have a phone number . If you take one beer you are unable to see the screen. The place has become extremely expensive and is yet another example of the gentrification in Berlin 🥲

Very good location, very clean, nicely decorated. However they sell a separate room when it is not. And no place to store luggage once checked out

Room was downgraded without us knowing about it. Floor was also very creaky and the 24/7 helpline was barely available.

Schoen House is without a doubt my "home-away-from-home" whenever I have visited Berlin since 2007. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood is centrally located and safe with a variety of local shopping and cultural experiences. The staff are very professional and courteous. The price isn't exactly cheap, but well worth the overall experience. Highly recommended.

Great location. Lovely clean, well equipped (soap, hairdryer, toilet paper - always great when a place provides these) room. Room looking out on to the street so a bit noisy in the morning but would return if in the area again. Also a lovely courtyard to sit in in the evening if you don't have a balcony.

Price/performance ratio top (for Berlin) We stayed in a 1 room apartment with a group of 4 people. Great for our purposes, fully equipped kitchenette (without oven), table with space for everyone, the sofa bed was very comfortable almost like a bed, the furniture is beautiful and stylish. You receive a care package with a toothbrush/paste, a sleeping mask and earplugs (but we didn't hear any noise). Everything was clean. Only the faucet and the shower in the bathroom were a little tricky to adjust to get the desired water result, but for me it's no drama but should be replaced. If you read the emails/instructions after booking, you can easily check in in advance from home and the instructions with access to the house and apartment were detailed and well described and in several languages. In my opinion it's great because you don't have to worry about any keys or cards that you could lose, just save a screenshot with the summary on your phone. All in all a great stay in a central location!

Perfect base to explore Berlin with easy access to trams and the underground which suited us with our 20 month old daughter in her pram. Also only walking distance to Berlin Wall memorial which was great. Super clean and comfortable apartment to come home to after exploring and it is nice and quiet at night.
