Superb hotel. Close to Mercedes-Benz Arena, Berlin Wall and river Spree. 2 metro stations with a distance walk. My room was on 7th floor so I had nice panoramic views over the Berlin. The room size was good and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was served from 6.30am and it was delicious. Plenty of options to choose and it was fresh. Staff was very friendly. I hope to get back soon.

Nice calm hotel for deep sleep after a long day discovering Berlin. The location is a bit far from the main attractions of Berlin such as Brandenburg, tiergarten statue but what is also a plus for the location is that the wall of art is few steps only. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel is near the 2 malls with good shops. From our windows we could see the Mercedes Benz Arena.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, viel Auswahl am Büffet. Das Zimmer was wir hatten, war sehr schön. Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Der Standort ist optimal für Besucher der Mercedes Benz Arena. Auch wenn man gerne mal zu den zentralen Punkten in Friedrichshain möchte kann man sie von dort aus bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Die nächste S Bahn, Warschauer Straße ist auch bequem zu erreichen.

Die Handtücher waren wirklich extrem flauschig. Das ist mir in Erinnerung geblieben. Das Zimmer war schön mit regionalen Bezug arrangiert. Praktisch fand ich den großen Ohropax-Spender in der Lobby bei den Aufzügen. Die Lobby-Bar ist sehr gemütlich und trotzdem sehr modern und offen gestaltet. Schön ist die "kleine" Wohnzimmer-Ecke mit Fernseher. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr großzügig und gepflegt. Hier findet auch eine größere Reise-Gruppe Platz. Das Personal ist mega-nett. Preis und Lage sind unschlagbar.

Clean. Convenient location to attractions, transportation, and food options. Rewe close by as well. Breakfast is excellent… many great options, worth getting up for… and I like sleep. Only thing I would change, I wish the windows would open completely as the AC is slow and I wish I had a mini fridge. Would definitely stay here again. ☺️

Been there for a concert for a few days! The rooms are clean and nice! The location is great! Next to a shopping mall and the concert venue! There's also a few nice restaurants close by and you can easily walk to the spree by foot! Service was also okay! Will go again the next time I'll visit Berlin for a concert :)

Ich war positiv überrascht vom Hotel. Es liegt sehr zentral und die Zimmer waren groß und sauber. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder dort ein Zimmer nehmen, wenn ich in Berlin bin. Die Kinder dürfen kostenlos übernachten und essen. Hunde sind auch gegen einen Aufpreis erlaubt. Parkplätze gibt es unterhalb vom Hotel aber unbedingt mitteilen das man einen Parkplatz haben möchte. Die Auswahl zum Frühstücken fand ich ordentlich und kann die negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen.

Tolles Hotel mit besten Standort, man kommt von dort überall hin. Paar Meter weiter ist die U-BAHN und S-Bahn Station und Direkt neben dem Hotel auch eine Bushaltestelle. Die Standardzimmer sind schön geräumig und das Bett super bequem. Das Personal war auch super freundlich. Würde wieder hinfahren.

Overall this is a great place. Extremely clean, nice breakfast, comfy beds, well sized rooms, very efficient reception staff. The rooms are nicely ventilated so you don’t wake up with that “stuffy” hotel head in the next morning. However, the bar was extremely slow, had very options available (many drinks from the menu were out of stock) and was a little substandard overall - the staff were slow and generally not taking their job seriously (laughing and joking and talking about other things while customers waiting). If the bar is improved then it would a 5 star.

Das Zimmer fand ich sehr schön eingerichtet. Es gab einen Wasserkocher und Tee, Kaffee, Kakao im Zimmer, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Das Frühstück war ausgiebig. Es gab frisches Obst, was ich in so manch anderem Hotel beim Frühstück vermisst habe. Das Personal an der Rezeption und auch beim Frühstück war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Auch die gute Anbindung zur Bahn fand ich sehr hilfreich. Ich würde gerne wiederkommen.

Incompetent cleaners used chemical descaler to clean the kettles but did not rinse it out. At first I thought the problem was with the coffee as it tasted strange but I later realised the problem. I brought this to the attention of Holiday Inn at the reception and emailed the office. No response. What if it was a mother using the kettle to make formula for her baby? A baby can't tell you that it tastes strange. I explained my concerns, but still no response from the hotel. Incompetent and unable to address serious concerns about endangering the health of guests. Will report to health authorities.

Stayed here over the summer where the wifi was glitchy the first day - I figured they were working something out on it. Then over the course of the next three days, it was mostly not working, so two stars off for this - wifi is a pretty necessary amenity when you are traveling and 99% of hotels have figured out how to get it to your room. Then when I went to notify the desk clerk about it and see if I could maybe get a breakfast included for the loss of this amenity, I was rudely rejected and informed I needed to come back during business hours and fill a form out before they could even respond to my complaint, so two more stars off for making your problem an even bigger pain in my butt.

Rooms are great super clean and look nice. Didn't really have chance to test the room service but assume is good. It was a shame that the restaurant wasn't open for food and the WiFi was patchy for me but otherwise a really nice stay. Great location for the Mercedes arena, zalando offices and out of town Berlin trips

Der Standort ist super für ein verlängertes Wochenende um die Stadt zu besichtigen oder eine Veranstaltung in der Mercedes Benz Arena zu besuchen. Im Hotel passt alles, super Service, leckeres und vielfältiges Frühstück, bequeme Betten und ruhig ist es auch. Jederzeit wieder.

-We had a problem with reservation. Since we were not able to book directly with the Holiday Inn Berlin - City East Side (no-one answered our call), we had to call to reservation center to book rooms. The reservation center gave us a WRONG quotation (although the guy from reservation center had confirmed that the price was correct). We had to pay DOUBLE PRICE for our stay. DON'T BOOK WITH reservation center!!! -The hotel does not have a mini fridge in rooms. Maybe we need a 5-stars hotel to have a fridge!!! -The wifi connection was disaster! We tried to ask receptionists for helps, but nothing worked. We gave up after many tries! It was the first time we had a wifi's issue in a 4-stars hotels!!!

They must have a lot of guests from dictatorial countries. Very small space for storing cloth.

Nice hotel in a great location for us, central to much of the main clubs. One of the fastest check ins I’ve ever had which was welcome. A small fridge in the room was a surprising omission. Perhaps I overlooked another room type when booking that would have had this feature.

The hotel is in a good location, on a quiet backstreet between the wall and the East Side Mall shopping center/Mercedes Benz Arena. The rooms are clean and spacious enough although the bathroom could have been just a little bit bigger. Breakfast is OK, pretty standard at this price range and a good selection of foods. The hotel has some reserved spaces in the underground garage, which you should pre book before arriving and this makes staying here when traveling by car a great choice. They have rental bikes but there are also shared bikes and scooters available most of the time in close vicinity.

Great for a short stay in the area. I had to iron my shirts and they helped me with the iron and the table. Breakfast is quite comprehensive. There is also a small gym.

Four stars for a good four star hotel. The service was fine. Check-in and check-out was easy and fast. The room was small and not even a small fridge available.

Enjoyed our stay here. When we went to check out they said we had a breakfast, that wasn't ours but the resolved it quickly. Seemed like someone used our room number. They should make people give a last name with the room number for room charges. That probably would have solved it.

Great place to stay in. We had really nice, clean room. We get tasty breakfast. Everyone find something suitable for him. Good comunication, especially when you came for event in Mercedes Benz Arena.

November 27, 2021 Horrible Customer Service I came in Berlin for celebrating my birthday with a friend and since the first moment I walked in this hotel I felted unwelcome, the kind of unwelcome for not being German. Couple of kids at the reception are really trying but other than that everyone else is very unfriendly and rude. Nobody as the courtesy to says " Good Morning or Good Evening". At the breakfast the only food available is horrible and very generic. The fruit was the only thing I can eat but mostly the time not really fresh. The cleaning for Covid it was ridiculous, to clean a table they didn't even move the silverware. Everyone is on the phone or chatting with each other instead to be friendly with the customers. I’m very glad I didn’t find the same rudeness in Berlin. The American standard for this hotel is below the normal expectation. Best

I am very angry , shocked , and disappointed in the treatment and service i received. My Covid19 test had expired. I didn't know i needed a new one. At 3am try to check in. The man .... mr Ibrahim. Talked to me so insulting and rude!!!. " it's not my problem. It's your fault . " you should have paid attention. And even more rude and insulting comments. I asked what could so about the money for room. He was even more terrible. "Your problem " I sat in the lobby on my phone and tablet looking for others hotels. He told me i could not sit there i must leave. Not even giving me time search the internet for other hotels at 3am. I was pushed out into the street. I came back the next day to complain. The colleague said "they often have problems with him " Unbelievable!!! You know he is a problem and you allow this behavior I am disgusted and will tell all my friends and all my social media about this experience.

The front desk staff was super friendly and perky. Especially the nice polish lady. The rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was delicious!

You gotta love this hotel, because the staff is very helpful and friendly, the location is exceptional and the rooms are very tidy. They offer basement parking at affordable prices and a delicious breakfast for a great start into the day. I'm always coming back here! ☺
