Very well located, traditional art deco hotel for a comfortable stay. But some details are not 5 star standard : the breakfast staff is rude and the buffet poor, the bathroom of my room needed maintenance, and lighting too. Small details that make the big difference in this category of hotels.

Reception kept pushing me to pay extra for upgrade and no welcome feeling at all. Room is so out of the date and has no coffee or tea! Just 3 star level hotel with 5 star price , even worse swimming pool and wellness are closed,total not worth of the money. Internet WiFi is not working! Total no Kempinski quality!

Sehr gutes Personal 👍 Klasse Atmosphäre im Hotel sehr klassisch aber hat Eleganz. Hatten eins der renovierten Zimmer im 10 Stock. Klasse Einrichtung schön Groß, leider keine zwei Einzelbetten wie versprochen, bei der Buchung. Frühstück gut aber nicht sensationell. Kommen aber gerne wieder!

Not sure why they are 5 star hotel. The rooms are rather small. Furniture are old. Room wasn't clean as it should for a 5 star hotel. Service was ok. Breakfast was ok. Not too many options for sweets. Other than this Breakfast was good. The basen and sauna was good.

The breakfast is good. Yet, the pool opening times are unsuitable for business guests (8 am to 8 pm). Receptionists are rather snooty than welcoming. Generally, the old charm of the hotel is on the borderline to be shabby and in need for modernisation. Retrospectively, I should have chosen a different 5-star hotel.

Great location but.... The bathroom is very small , the design is fit for the 80s' , we asked to extend our stay for four hours until our flight , and although the guy in the reception told us it will cost 17 EUR , we have been charged for 70 EUR!!!! For a full night we pay 90 and for addition of 4 hours paid 70 EUR. Just unfair treatment and service. Not recommended at all!!!

You pay around 200 euros per night and don’t even get drinking water to the room , the Indian Superviser on the phone was super rude and unhelpful. No basic shower set (only 3 in one locked on the wall) btw the hotel have no more stars so they don’t care about any rules and requirements.

We stayed 1 night, the hotel is a bit old-fashioned but ok if you like that style. Sauna was out of service unfortunately. There was a misunderstanding during our check in, which was quite unpleasant on the check out, even though the charge was canceled I felt bad about it. I guess I wouldn't come back.

Great location! Check in fantastic- got upgraded from a family room to family suite. Staff all really friendly and helpful. The only thing that let it down was the lack of coffee/tea making facilities. We only had one bottle of water between 4 of us for a 3 night stay.

Mit diesem Hotel stimmt etwas nicht. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Dusche gebucht. Bei der Ankunft sollte ich dann 50 Euro Aufpreis zahlen. Als ich widersprach, wurde zuerst die Schuld bei HRS gesucht und dann bei mir. Die unterschiedlichen Personen am Schalter verhielten sich überheblich und maßregelten mich. Ich vermute, dass der Betreiber mal wieder gewechselt hat: Die Stimmung im gesamten Hotel ist gereizt und unfreundlich. Ich werde nie wiederkommen.

Great location, close to the great shopping places (including upscale brands) and subway if you need. 3 star review is because a stranger (I think working for the hotel) tried to enter to my room 2 times and that got me concerned about the security.

Bathrooms are bath showers, and bedrooms have no plug sockets. Service is really top draw Location is a Little out the way. I was there for a conference, and for a conference it was a great location. Wouldn’t stay here for pleasure however

When I checked in I was told I had one of the smallest rooms. I liked the room it was perfect for what I needed. They had WiFi, the staff was very attentive to the guest. Best hotel I stayed at in the 6 weeks I was in Europe.

The hotel claims to have a 5 stars service. I would say they are not worthy of being part of discovery hotels and far from being a Bristol! The hotel is undsestaffed with no room service provided when asked for it. Had to ask for a towel 4 times. When sharring the feedback with the staff, they were so defensive over the fact that they are not a 5 stars hotel rather only offering a 5 stars service, whatever that means! The rooms don't have any kettles, coffee, tee, mini bar and we had a problem with the sink in the shower. Such an overpriced disapointing experience!

Older hotel, extremely thin walls, rude staff, and the best part is housekeeping requests are also charged (like ice or toothbrushes). For a supposed 4 star hotel, this is an abysmal concept. Do not stay in this hotel!

A real Five Star experience with an amazing lobby, beautiful vintage rooms and a great ambience ! The morning breakfast was so lavish and Rich ! I would highly recommend anyone visiting the Kurfürstendamm area in Berlin to stay here - it’s a beautiful luxury at comparable prices with Motel One!

Fantastic hotel. Very pleasant staff, good breakfast and nice room (Executive room). Pool area and sauna with/out steam, also nice size for a city hotel. Parking a bit expensive but safe (park in the street if you prefer at about half price - 15€/day). We will definitely choose this hotel again.

Hotel is traditional and old, clean and sensing quality. Although the breakfast buffet is good with various selection of German delicacy’s the service is slow and partly even rude.

We decided to book a hotel room for the night very last minute as we have been living in Berlin for about 5 weeks and have yet to get a good nights sleep. I made the booking at lunchtime and although the telephone number doesnt work the staff were very prompt in replying to my emails. I made the booking in hast and upon arrival the economy room was not what I had hoped for. However, Patrick at the front desk was more than helpful in showing me the option for a premium room and we paid the difference. Patrick was extremely kind and patient with us and when my partner had accidentally left his wallet behind, Patrick made all the calls to get it back to him. This wasnt the only great experience, the pool and sauna were everything we needed to unwind and get the good nights sleep we were looking for. We usually the type of couple to book hotel rooms, theyre usually overpriced and lack ameneties you would get in an airbnb, but for what we needed to getaway for one night the Berlin Bristol hotel was perfect. Huge thank you to Patrick for making our stay all the better and even more so for returning the wallet! You're a star!

Wow! A group of 5 adults stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and we had the best time. Perfect location. The staff are very kind and professional. The public areas are well designed and clean. The lobby services are outstanding. The pool area and sauna are really relaxing. Thanks, we will come back again for sure on our next visit to Berlin.

Nice hotell in the center of Berlin. Parking garage close to the hotell. Swift and friendly checkin experience. The roomservice was a bit hit and miss though, one day the Schnitzel came with dry bread and cold potatoe salad and a day later the same dish came with out bread but with warm potatoe salad... All in all a good stay!
