Room is clean. Design is very cute. But if you are not white, forget this place. Staff will smile and greet to everyone, except that they will completely ignore you like you don’t exist.

Top modernes Hotel mit super Design im Interieur. Die Lobby, Bar und der Frühstücksraum sind quasi eins und super gemütlich. Die Zimmer sind (10. Stock) super ruhig obwohl sie an der Straße liegen. Es gibt eine kleine Aussicht auf die Stadt (alternativ auch zum Innenhof). Es gibt ein Parkhaus im Untergeschoss nur fürs Hotel. Parkplätze sind ausreichend groß und kosten 18€ pro Tag. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, frisch und mit ausreichend Auswahl. Mehr benötigt kein Mensch. Das Personal ist super freundlich und kann alle Fragen beantworten. Preis Leistung stimmt hier in meinen Augen. Ich würde wieder für einen Aufenthalt in Berlin hier herkommen. Vorallem weil die Lage sehr zentral ist.

It's a pretty good place, and it's totally worth its money. The location is in the city center and close to the public transportation. Rooms are fresh and clean, although they are a little bit small but that's totally fine since why should you stay on your room while visiting Berlin. Staff is very friendly and the service is good. I definitely enjoyed stay.

This hotel is over-priced and inconvenient. For $200/night: a room with NO mini fridge, coffee maker, waste basket, alarm clock, face cloth, shower cap, sheer curtains as well as thick curtains (not just thick! so only options are full exposure/no privacy or no sunlight), a landline in the room so it’s not a long distance cal for a traveler to call the front desk. You have to go downstairs anytime you need something. Including carrying up the iron and ironing board yourself. It’s like someone made a pretend hotel and forgot all the basics a traveler needs. And since there is no coffee maker or even hot water maker in the room, I assumed there would be free coffee and tea in the lobby. Nope. €4 for a cup of hot water with some lemon and honey. I have never stayed somewhere that is so inhospitable to the traveler it alarmist seems they want to insure you never come back. I will say the staff is polite. But I won’t come back.

Ok hotel for maybe one night. If you're staying longer or more than one of you then you might find the rooms small. Rooms: no coffee machine, lack of storage for clothes etc, no fridge the beds take up most of the room, no drawers etc to put your things. Plus side, lobby is very nice with a nice bar. Although this hotel pre authorised my card, you had to pay as you go at the bar. Breakfast was just ok. You sit in the same seats you would do in the lobby!

This is by far the Best Hotel I have ever stayed in. It is modern, cozy, interesting and affordable. Staff is great. Friendly, supportive and very competent. Rooms aren’t big but modern, clean and offer great views of Berlin. The Bar is the center piece of Motel 1 Spittelmarkt and is open 24/7. So if You need anything, someone is there to help you. Guaranteed. Btw: Fantastic Selection of Gins. There is only 5* availability. I would give this great place many more ************

Ich bin gerne hier und kann es nur empfehlen. Dieses Hotel/Motel ist super. Die Buchung ist ziemlich unkompliziert, die Angestellten sind nett und hilfsbereit und die Möglichkeiten sind klasse. Dieses Hotel hat zudem eine relativ gute Lage, sodass man einige Punkte der Stadt gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Zum Zimmer lässt sich sagen, dass es relativ klein, aber trotzdem nützlich ist. Ich war auf Geschäftsreise hier und hatte nur einen kleinen Koffer dabei, bei einem großen Koffer wäre die Fahrt durchs Zimmer schwieriger gewesen. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und optimiert eingerichtet. Es gab sogar einen kleinen Schreibtisch, bei dem ich allerdings keine Steckdose finden konnte. Das Bad war mit einer Dusche ausgestattet und ebenfalls ausreichend von der Größe für 1-2 Personen. Frühstück habe ich nicht in Anspruch genommen, obwohl es gut aussah und beim letzten Mal auch klasse geschmeckt hat, aber es gibt auch Bäcker in der Nähe, die in meinem Fall für die Frühstücksversorgung zuständig waren. Abends haben wir an der Bar ein paar Drinks gehabt und auch dort sind die Auswahl und Preise ganz in Ordnung. Die Sitzgelegenheiten verteilen sich ganz gut, sodass man trotz großem Raum eine tolle Atmosphäre erleben kann. Mein Aufenthalt war Rundum gelungen und ich komme gern wieder.

A standard business hotel with comfortable rooms. The common area downstairs is very nice. There aren’t any tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. So you have to go to the bar. WiFi was good, bed was comfortable and the staff helpful. It’s located a couple of minutes walk from the UBahn. All in all, a grand place to stay.

Room, location all good even if rooms are bit small. However disgraceful service at the bar. On more than one occasion staff at the bar accused us and members of our group fir not paying for drinks. Sounds like a tactic to get a few extra euros out of people. After being chased to the elevator them showing our card payments it still took a good ten minutes to get them to agree we had paid for the drinks. Appalling behaviour.

That was a nice pleasure. Everywhere was so clean and cozy. Only problem is rooms are very small. If you have 2 big luggages you cant walk in room. And dont have mini bar. But all that acceptable. So close to Spittelmark U-Bahn station( only 30 seconds to walk). Employees were kind and helpful. I am sure you will be pleasured

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einer guten Lage. Aus unserem Zimmer im 9. Stock hatten wir eine super Aussicht zum Fernsehturm. U-Bahn Station ist direkt am Hotel aber auch zu Fuß kann man auch einige Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen (ca. 15 min zum Fernsehturm). Tiefgarage ist auch vorhanden (20€/Tag).

Very nice hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff! Small rooms but very cosy and clean. 👍 Shower and hand wash included. Choice between room with a view or to the backyard. Busy street but windows are very good, quiet. Breakfast was good but more for average eater…meaning lots of Gluten, cold cuts and and milk choices…I would prefer scrambled egg with avocado, fruit and linseed…but well. 😊 TIPP: across the street is a small green bowl sth coffe shop, where I had a huge scrambled egg with avocado! 🙏recommended!😀 Hotel with Design and a good price. I like it!

First 2 nights were great but it was spoilt because housekeeping didn't clean our room. There is no backup to fix the issue. In addition the previous days soap was not kept full. Lots of room for improvement.

Had a really good experience! It’s in a great location, very clean and modern looking hotel. Rooms are smaller and lack a few amenities but for the price it’s a great experience.

We live near from Motel One and went for drinks. Atmosphere is great. Good drinks. Recommended!! We will be definitely frequent visitors for this bar :)

Modern style, functional, beautiful, great breakfast that was too much for my palate, and centrally located. You can walk from here anywhere in Central Berlin. A minute walk from u2 station that links you to Alexander platz.

The hotel denied me entry without legal knowledge of a booster shot for Johnson & Johnson vaccine. I presented my primary shot and the second booster shot. However, the staff arrogantly dismissed this was a valid proof of 2G+ in Berlin.

A nice hotel overall. From my experience I could even say one of the bests - for an affordable budget. Just wish the rooms had a bit more space, especially for moving around the bed

Standard Motel One which is very good and extra plus for staff offering for example an umbrella because he thought it could rain later.

This place is just GREATE!!!. Apart of location this Hotel has a wonderful atmosphere made from the people / friends who work in there. Anna , Krisi, Vincent and Tobi U make a great job . Keep going and be safe

Motel One Berlin is modern, clean and accessible. The hotel has a beautiful bar which stays open late. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very comfy beds with ample pillows. Showers with high pressure. Having stayed for two nights, I am leaving with no complaints; ideal for mini-breaks or for business trips.

The room was just what you need, it's small but it's more than enough. Location is great, right next to the Ubahn, 3 stops to Alexanderplatz, there are places to eat around, also Lild and Rossman. The service was wonderful, the room was kept clean, and the reception staff was very helpful! Would definitely recommend and visit again, I'm super happy with my stay. Also - the pillows were amazing, would love to buy the same for home!

Rooms are small and boring like in most global hotel chains but the service was absolutely terrible. Extremely unhelpful even when there for a work trip and important things like heather and internal lock are not working! Also on a very busy road which,in spite of what they said (even here unhelpful at all with my request to give me a quiet room), woke me up when traffic restarted at 5-6 am...

Rooms are rather small, but well kept and the beds are very comfy. Very modern and clean!

My room was small, but perfectly formed. Spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was like it was new. Literally - it was like I was the first to use it. Immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature was just right. Very friendly check-in staff, great organic breakfast choices. Everything was easy, including just dropping my key card in a box and walking out the door when it was time to leave. No queuing to check out.

A very beautiful and well kept hotel for the budget /business Traveller, looking for a quote place to sleep over. I like the minimalistic design and the spartan simple breakfast at 13 Euros was a steal ! Highly recommend !

In comparison to the one in Mitte this particular Motel One is a luxurious stay. A lovely, clean, comfy hotel in a fairly good location with delicious organic breakfast. Walkable distance to the city centre and still well connected to public transport. Parking is available for 18€/day.

Very good location, reasonable and valuable price. Room is enough clean and comfortable. Much calm. Better service, I could check-in before noon arrived by very early morning flight.

(This is a bar-only review, since we did not stay at the hotel) I visited the lobby bar on a recommendation, specifically, the Gin&Tonic menu. Interior is modern and tasteful - you can judge for yourself. Bar was just about to receive the first evening guests and became decently busy after fifteen or so minutes. Since we were on a tight schedule I only managed one drink, but would have definitely stayed for longer otherwise! The drink itself was on-point, served in proper glassware and garnished accordingly. I had been a bit sceptical since I knew their offer of tonics is limited (for a gin themed bar) but that did not prove to be the case - unflavoured tonics such as TH/FT indeed do match the concept of a vast, quality gin offer. Swift service was provided by a talented bartendress Maria, who was happy to explain finer details and ready to answer not-so-regular questions about their gin offer. She even managed to keep meaningful conversations with guests seated at the bar while solo-serving the lounge tables(!) As mentioned, we were not able to stay long enough to see the bar in it’s full swing, but our visit had been a very pleasant experience overall.
