Due to a delayed train, we arrived at the reception after midnight. The welcome was not really friendly, and the receptionist seemed annoyed. The biggest downside was our experience with the so-called late check out on Sunday. Both on the day of arrival and the day before departure, we asked the receptionist and both times they said the late check-out was no problem. We hanged the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door handle and went to sleep. The next morning at 12 noon - my partner and i still in bed from a long night Berlin before - a cleaning lady storms in without knocking. We had to get out according to her because the checkout was at 12 noon. Despite our insistence that we would not be leaving for another hour, she remained standing in the doorway and asking us to leave. After we made it clear to her that we had a late check-out and that we are entitled to a late check-out, she angrily closed the door. A very unpleasant and unacceptable experience.

We spent two nights at this hotel and it was definitely a great experience, super comfy and modern rooms and great amenities, nice restaurant and bar at the lobby and their location is in walking distance to many attractions and public transportation and they're one of the best options in the city for what you pay.

Rooms are modern and clean, but a bit on the small side. Perfect for business, very close to the main station. However, for restaurants, sights and shops you have to take a bus / tram / subway, since there's not much around the hotel.

Incredibly rude front desk! I was told on my check in that I have one free breakfast, every single day (3 total) i asked for it and all I heard was you gotta pay for the brrakfast with very rude tone like I'm trying to get it by force from them. Don't say it please if you're not going to honor it.

Minimalism as a design principle is very welcome, but only to the point in which it does not subtract from the function. Unfortunately, in this case too much minimalism led to reduced function in rooms. Breakfast is one of the poorest I have had. It almost leaves an impression that this establishment does not have a kitchen, but rather that the staff is running back and forth from Aldi to bring something to serve in the morning. There is no omelet a staple of all breakfast buffets, and hard boiled eggs are served with shells for us the visitors to peel them.

Very nice hotel and very reasonably priced. But the location is what makes it very good! Just a block from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof and so convenient. The room was very nice - not large but not cramped either. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and there were some nice touches like ambient lighting. The television had a lot of channels, including some English ones. The hotel offered a very nice breakfast and the staff was very courteous and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean room with great location nearby Berlin main station. Only thing you might be picky is lack of freezer and room space is not huge, but it is okay for the biz trip. Against the good price, I would definitely recommend it.

The location is perfect, in a quite area, walking distance to Berlin main Hbf (about 2 minutes), the room was so clean, relatively small but was fine and convenient if you do not want to spend your day sitting in a hotel room. I paid for the breakfast, the breakfast is convenient and everything was fresh and clean, there are a sitting area outside, which was quite, nice and peaceful. No kettle in the room but you can ask for hot water from the bar anytime. Faucet water is drinkable and taste better than bottled water. For budget travelers I highly recommend this hotel. The smart screen software was somehow hard to manage and slow.

nice room nice location (3 mins for Hbhf) But the best experience about this hotel was Staff. I want to should out one name "Joshua" (and another one I can't remember his name) who helped me a lot esp after he learned I got my bag stolen. Thank you for making the bad evening better.

The room is very small, no kettle, no fridge, no coffee machine. Maybe because I’m a solo traveller they gave me a tiny duvet, like something for a small kid. It’s quite close to the HBF but you need to cross a busy road. The surrounding is not very nice, many homeless people, and construction sites. It’s ok for a quick dip in Berlin, but for tourism there are better located Motel Ones.

Schönes kleines Doppelzimmer. Modern eingerichtet.

Stayed for a few days at the end of last month and really enjoyed the accommodations. Very clean, surprisingly quiet for a busy location and comfortable. It’s very basic and small, with no extra frills or anything usually offered at American hotels, but it was a very pleasant stay with a good location.

Good hotel! Breakfast could be better, currently it has very limited option with NO scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, etc

The ideal location to stay in Berlijn, price wise and location wise. The service is good and the room experience is more than great. If you arrive by car just make an reservation for the parking in the basement (pull the rope to get out). The bar has a good service and the ambiance is quite well. In the garden you can have a seat and enjoy you’re drinks.

When in Berlin looking for a cheap but good and reliable accommodation…. go and stay here! The place is unbeatable… across main station. You find all kinds of public transportation on your doorstep! No hassle with taxi. Plus: rooms are tiny… that’s true… but absolutely clean. Super shower in the bathroom. The staff is really really friendly and helpful… and quick! You have a nice lobby area and a big patio. This is one of the best hotels…in Berlin. Absolut recommendation.

Overall hotel is clean and well presented, however service ruins it all. Cleaners walk into your room well ahead of your check out time, starting from 9am and multiple times! Also spent 20 minutes trying to get out of the underground car park, no one answered reception intercom or phone calls, I ended up going back up to reception twice! As by the time I got to the car park gate shut again. Staff member who came downstairs to open the gate said I’m too slow! Really ?? Am I meant to run to make it ?!! Additionally gestured I’m stupid when I didn’t drive up the ramp immediately after he opened the gate again, which I didn’t because other car was driving down … Rudeness it’s an understatement!!

Lovely hotel very close to Berlin HBF station. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, the selection of breads being exceptional. Would have been nice to have some more hot options at breakfast. Room was very good. Only negative was the step up into the shower. Only other negative is that there isn't a great selection of restaurants near the hotel.

The hotel was refreshingly cool and comfortable. The air conditioning worked efficiently, creating a pleasant and cool environment throughout the property. The room itself was well-insulated, allowing me to escape the heat outside and enjoy a refreshing respite. It was a great relief to return to the hotel and experience a cool and comfortable atmosphere.

For one night at this hotel was the best experience I had it’s not to far from the main train station and the staff was very friendly and I felt welcome there with the evening staff and morning staff before I checked out! Will book it again for my next visit to Berlin!

Probably was the best hotel of my European trip. Nice clean room, staff very helpful and a great location right next to train station. Easy walk to Berlin wall stretch, Brandenburg gate and the reichsteig. nice little cafe / bar on river just over the bridge

Friendly and helpful staff, clean, quiet and attractive hotel. Help-yourself breakfast which was good. Could do a lot better on sustainability - It is much too hot everywhere; the stairs could be signposted (instead of lifts); extra pillows as optional; cleaning materials and policy etc.

For the price could be better (~100 Euro per night) There is nothing in the room - no water, no cups, no toiletries (in my room even the toilet cleaning brush was missing) Apart from a nice design - nothing much to say.

Rooms are dusty on eye level shelves. Stuff is OKish but not trained and very awake selfish. The breakfast is just poor, cheap charcuterie, cheap cheese, cheap tea, cheap everything … but super woke no service Stuff. If you like the choice for undeclared (ingredients level) things they presented you between all the rest of the food you’re welcome!!!

I've been attracted by the nice and design picture of the reception and the bar room. The rest was very disapointing. The rooms are very very very small (once again, they attract you with the "king size bed" but the room itself is the smallest room I've ever seen in my life. There is no restaurant inside the hotel (just a kind of snack bar..), no food or drink machine ( so you must buy 0.2l orange juice at the bar if you want to drink something, prepzre the money), no water bottle in the room. You can not lock the toilet door when you're inside, the curtains let the sun light enter because it is not a blackout curtain (so you're woken up at 6 am in the morning). The breakfast, organic described, if disapointing (13 euros) for germany : no crumbled or fried eggs, no real ham (only salamy). So I'm not happy at all, and it was not cheap ! (375 euros for 3 nights !)

Pros: clean, modern design, breakfast staff friendly, comfy bed Cons: front desk staff not so friendly, seem unhappy, especially the Hawaiian shirt lady who looks angry, no water kettle or phone in the room. Poor wifi. Their line is always busy. Location is not lively. No cafes around, have to walk about 8 min. to find a neighborhood restaurant.

Clean and comfortable rooms offering everything you need. The location is across the street from the main train station and mall. We only stayed one night but it offered a great landing point for one night before we settled into another part of the city for a longer stay.

Very modern, clean. The rooms are very small. There are no nightstands. There is no safe for your passport. The lobby is beautiful, the employees kind. The bed is very comfortable. A king is two twins stuck together. Early check-in was provided. No coffee or tea in the room. If you can drink tap hot water, you can walk to Aldi's, right turn out the front door and buy instant coffee quite reasonable. I would stay again.

Nice affordable rooms. Very kind receptionnist, I was rejected by 3 hotels before until he gave me room and much information. I know private stay not allowed but I must get plane in the morning for work. This helped me much so I dont have to stay on the streets until morning flight :)

Typical Motel One rooms. Very close to public transport which allows you to be anywhere in Berlin very quickly. Nice outdoor space to have some drinks after a long day.

Good experience! Beautiful view from the room. Convenient, in the center of Berlin. Just in front of the Berlin central train station (Br HPF). Few minutes from common attractive spots.

Nice hotel very close to the central station. Stayed there for several days. Clean, tidy as expected for s hotel chain. However the breakfast is incredibly expensive for the stuff provided. Nothing special and lacks of hot dishes. Definitely not worth 10euro.

Excellent hotel! Room size was just right for me and the room, bed and pillows are very comfortable. Location and Wi-Fi is tip top. Over 60 channels on tv too. It is a very busy hotel so expect to wait at the queue during check in. My favourite part is the bar at the lobby. Awesome ambience, everyone speaks English and one of the tall blonde yound lad makes the best hot chocolate. I had it 4x during my stay and only he nailed it!
