I stayed at this hotel for 4 days with my boyfriend and had a somewhat okay stay there. All of the staff was really nice and respectful (from cleaners to the receptionist) and everyone spoke English well (everything in the hotel was captioned in English as well). The side entrance which we used for checking in (it was too late for the receptionist to be there) was albeit slow, but working. The entrance door had a bit of trouble closing properly on its own so we had to help it a bit. The elevator worked fine. The room despite being small didn't feel cramped at all, there was enough room for everything (there was a double bed, a sitting area with 2 tables and 2 chairs, some extra space for suitcases, for example, a wardrobe, 2 night stands, 3 lamps, some shelves, a kitchenette and a bathroom, of course). The room looked nice, modern and felt very cosy, and everything looked clean. I liked that there were both a bit see-through curtains (that allowed sunlight to get in the room) and thick curtains (that provided privacy). The view from the hotel room was pretty nice. The toilet, shower, bathroom tap, bathroom lights, kitchen light, refrigerator, TV, sockets and lamps were all working properly, but the kitchen tap was a bit hard to use, the sink was too small (which got very annoying), the stove had a hard time producing any heat (even at the highest setting), the main light was also a bit too weak, the floor and towel heating I don't think was working at all and something that thankfully wasn't such an issue for us because of the weather but could be for others - the air-conditioner: it was barely working, and even with 22 degrees Celsius outside it would get really hot in our room and the temperature would go down maybe by a degree or two with the air-conditioner being turned on, so imagine that at 35 degrees. Thankfully opening windows helped a lot during our stay, but at 35 degrees that wouldn't help at all. Another complaint of mine is that we missed some oil in the kitchenette, but appreciated the provided salt, pepper and some supplies for washing the dishes. I also like that we were provided with 5 towels in total and a free soap and shampoo. The rooms weren't completely noise proof (occasionally you could hear other people flushing the toilet or talking), but that was pretty negligible. The location of the hotel was nice when it comes to public transport (it was approximately 8 minutes of walk from an U-Bahn station and just a few minutes of commute to the city centre), the neighbourhood (it felt pretty safe) and I liked the park, pharmacies and cafes that were nearby. However, the location wasn't ideal when it came to buying groceries (bigger shops were more far away but it was still completely doable) and most importantly, the noise pollution. There was a playground or a skating area (however you want to call it) close to the hotel and for most of the day you would hear lots of sounds from there and also lots of cars and trains passing by. Thankfully, closing the windows helped with that, so it was possible to fall asleep. Speaking of sleeping, the mattresses were fine, somewhat soft, but not terrible, survivable for a week, and each of us were given 2 soft pillows (personally I could have used one more if all of them were this soft). One thing that I have mixed feelings about is the cleaning service - you are provided with a thingy which if you hang on your door handle by 8 am, you let the cleaners know whether you want your room to be cleaned or not or whether you just want the trash to be taken out. A good idea, but it didn't work for us - we always slept in and didn't want to be disturbed in the morning by cleaning so we never got our room cleaned even though we would have appreciated that at least once. Lastly, checking out was very quick which we appreciated as we were in a hurry. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It definitely is not perfect but also not terrible, so I'd say for the price we payed it was pretty average (I'd rate it 3.5 out of 5).

This hotel is not worthy of a high price. The size of the room is ok. You wouldn't find any staff. You can only check during a limited time or alternatively use a machine and this brings a lot of inconvenience if you have any questions. For three days of stay, room was not clean during my stay and only two bathing towels were placed. I don't mind that in general but for a costly hotel it does not make sense. Inside room you have only a small bottle of sparkling water available and there is no tea or coffee although a small stove is present. In the bathroom there is only a shower gel which allows to clean your hair is available.

A friendly quiet hotel, well connected by public transport. A small kitchenette with a French coffee press is a great plus. Note the temperature inside was too warm in late September (23-24C) with no air-conditioning (opening windows is too noisy).

Good location. Breakfast is not too crazy but good value for 12 Eur. Rooms were clean and spacious. Coming again!

Service hatten wir nur zum Frühstück. Check in über einen Terminal. Sehr zentral gelegen, vieles fußläufig erreichbar. Zimmer modern, aber ein paar Unreinheiten fanden wir leider sofort. Aber super geschlafen und völlig ausreichend. Wir kommen wieder.

Aufgrund einer Geschäftsreise bin ich im Flottwell abgestiegen. Hier passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr ruhig, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel am Bahnhof "Gleisdreieck" ist 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind verhältnismäßig groß und es war alles sauber, ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf dem Zimmer gab es eine kleine Küche und einen Safe. Es stehen 10 Tiefgaragenplätze zur Verfügung und davon sind 3 mit Wallboxen versehen. Der Parkplatz kostet faire 18,- € pro Tag. Frühstück wird für 10,- € angeboten, die Auswahl ist überschaubar aber es ist alles da was man braucht. Günstiger habe ich schon ewig nicht mehr im Hotel gefrühstückt. Einziger Kritikpunkt, aber für mich nebensächlich, die Bar hatte zu dem Zeitpunkt meines Aufenthaltes geschlossen. So wie ich verstanden hatte, wird aktuell kein Barbetrieb angeboten. Ich kann das Flottwell uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Ein wirklich tolles und sehr familiäres Hotel in guter Lage. Jedes Zimmer ist mit einer Kitchenette ausgestattet was ich wirklich super positiv finde. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl. Oft schlafe ich in neuen Hotels, in der ersten Nacht, wirklich schlecht aber hier habe ich super geschlafen. Auch die Betten und Matratzen sind sehr bequem...auch für Rückengeschädigte wie mich. Ich hoffe das wir bald wieder zu Gast sind.

Great hotel located in a quiet area but at 5 minutes from the subway station. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The bed and bathroom very comfortable. The price-quality ratio is unbeatable. In spite of all these positive aspects I highlight the warm and pleasant attention of the hotel front desk

We have stayed for 5 days and have found it a great experience. Good sized clean rooms. Well equipment kitchenette for breakfast/light meals like a pasta or salad. Shower is hot and bathroom spacious. Washe dryers are located in the basement. 2 of each so just plan ahead in case they are in use. Lovely helpful staff. They even dropped off a toaster for us when we asked. Close to public transport, supermarkets and restaurants. Would stay again next berlin trip.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Von der Anreise bis zur Abreise ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und zweckmäßig schön eingerichtet. Besonders gut fand ich die kleine Küchenzeile, auch wenn ich sie nicht genutzt habe. Nettes Personal!

Absolutely amazing hotel in the very middle of Berlin in such a relaxing environment that during the night you can also see rabbits jumping accross the street. Crispy clean, very nice personal and Norman the leader receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Recommended for a long term stay.

Very, very poor level of service and communication. If you are understaffed you should not make your rooms available. Upon arrival late at night there was nobody at reception, no answer on the phone and no clear message on the door. Our business relation, for whom we had booked the room, was left to find another hotel. The morning after the reservation we received a message with other instructions. The morning after, was that a joke? The answer of team Flottwell was short: we do not reimburse. That message came within 5 minutes of our complaint. Get your priorities straight. I stayed in flottwell for nearly a year, and I couldn't be happier. The location is absolutely amazing and convenient, as you are basically right in the middle of Berlin. The housekeeping team is extremely kind and nice. Norman, the manager/receptionist was also very pleasant and always available for any issues. I cannot reccomend a better long-stay place!

I arrived here after an extremely long and stressful day. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous, and immediately jumped in to help me resolve my travel issues. The room itself was comfortable and quiet, and only a five minute walk fro the subway. Highly recommend!

Every receptionist at this hotel are so friendly, kind and warm that they were willing to help me all the time! Thank you so much! When I asked them if the room had a bathtub before my stay, they kindly changed my room to the one which equipped it. It was my first stay in Berlin and of course I got an idea that German people are amazing from them. The room has a small kitchen and fridge, clean and spacious. The location is also great. There are a big brewery restaurant and a park very close to the hotel. Want to stay here again. Definitely recommend this hotel especially for a long term stay.

Not price worthy. Too expensive for just a room without breakfast. Limited parking services without a warning. You need to ask for. Excellent clearness. Nice location, 20 minutes walking from the town centre, adjucent to a nice park. No bicycles rental available.

My husband just spent a few days at the hotel room 301. It is clean, with big, calm new rooms, very well located and it gives a very pleasant impression. The positive and helpful attitude of Norman at the reception deserves a special mention.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Flottwell Hotel. I stayed for 2 months while I looked for a permanent home and I have no complaints. The staff if extremely friendly, professional and happy to help with anything. The hotel is also very comfortable, clean and well located. Would definitely recommend!

My experience at Flottwell hotel has been great. I've spent 5 nights there. Upon my arrival, I really appreciated the self check-in, a device outside the front door where I had to type my details and where I paid with card. It also gave me a key card. My stay has been very comfortable: the place is quiet and I haven't been disturbed by anything. My room had a double bed and a small kitchenette with a fridge, which I found useful to make some tea and other small snacks. The room itself and the bathroom were clean enough and I must say that I had everything that I needed, except perhaps for some slippers that I didn't bring with me and the hotel didn't provide. The location is very good, 3 mins from a metro station and 10 mins from supermarkets and other services. I overall rate my stay very good and I suggest you to choose Flottwell Hotel for your stay in Berlin.

You can pay an extra 10% charge for extra flexibility to change or cancel your booking. I spent 3 days contacting them to reduce the number of nights of my stay by moving the check-out date earlier. I couldn't get manager approval even though I was paying the extra 10% flexibility charge. Today is the last day I am able to modify my booking, so I ended up having to cancel my booking altogether and choose a different hotel with only 3 days left before my trip.
