Definitely NOT for hot/Summer days because It has NO air-condition but only a big fan and it's not possible to fully open window for security reason (i think) When arrived we found our room not so clean and shower light not working so we asked in reception and next day our room was clean and light fixed! It's in a good place and has a very good restaurant with several Veg dishes!

Impossible to stay due to extreme hot room! We were there late for the checkin(after 22h) and when we got to the room it was like a sauna in a room at the last floor of the hotel. Only ventilation possible was to tilt the windows so we decided to find a better place to stay. The hotel staff did not bother to find a better room with with better ventilation and did not refund the money we payed. I don’t recommend this place.

It is so close to metro. You can reach easily everywhere in Berlin. The area is so safely. You can return to Hotel every time. Hotel and staffs are clean. They have restaurant and snack machines. The personals are kindly and helpfully. You can take free map about Berlin. I like the green concept of Hotel.

My fiancé and I stayed here for 4 nights. It did what we needed. The bed was comfortable and the room was well cleaned. There were a lot of places to hang clothes and the room design was simple, yet efficient. It was a great location, within walking distance to lots of restaurants and attractions. It’s also very close to a train station to take you around the city. Great for the price. Our only complaint was that housekeeping entered our room two times, even with the “do not disturb” sign on the door. It woke us up the first time, and the second time I was undressed and about to get into the shower. They didn’t even knock to give us a chance to open the door or anything first. We really enjoyed our stay, but this did make us feel a bit uncomfortable.

The location and the service was good. The employees definitely try their best to provide a good service to their guests. The rooms however were terrible, extremely hot, no air conditioning, no fridge, just a shower, tv and a bed.

The hotel is centrally located with easy access. The shower had great water pressure! The rooms have ac and heat! Very nice! The bed was comfy! I think 20 euros for breakfast is too much so I went out for breakfast and ate delicious food for less than 20 euros per person.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Gat Point for five nights during the end of November and it was perfect! Room – we took the standard, cheapest room and got great value for money. The room was spacious enough for both of us and our luggage (23kg suitcase) and the heating worked just fine on our cold nights there. Location – ridiculously close to checkpoint charlie! It takes about 5 minutes to get there by foot, and the nearest metro station is located there as well. The public transport around the hotel is great, theres also a dm store near, and a lot of restaurants. The streets around the hotel are well lit and the area feels safe. Breakfast – you really shouldn't miss it! We paid for the breakfasts in advance and we were pleased. The food is warm and delicious, with varied options. Whether you're craving bacon and eggs, a bowl of yogurt with chia seeds, juices enriched with vitamins, warm pastries with spreads, cheese and sliced sausages, and warm drinks as well (I'll add photos). REALLY GOOD Staff – the staff is lovely and helpful. Their english is very good as well :) We'll for sure come back to Gat Point the next time we're in Berlin!

Very good place, extremely satisfied. Clean room with perfect space and bathroom. Free tea and drinking water from dispenser machines. Staff very kind and spoke english very well. Located close to the Badenburg gate and easy to get there with public transport. Totally worth it.

Very nice hotel in a very good position of the city. All major sightseeings are easily reachable. Restaurants and shops nearby as well as a subway station. Good value for money

Great location for this hotel, found the staff to be superb with customers. Cleaning of the rooms was also very very good. My only problem with the room was lack of storage for 2 sharing a room. No wardrobe as such so small amount of storage. No kettle facility either but each floor has a tea making area with vending machine too. Asian restaurant connected to it too but never got to try . Literally 2 min walk to checkpoint charlie and u Bahn is 2 min walk. Would consider this hotel again when I return to Berlin.

Amazing hotel right near the Berlin gate and train stations. Clean, large and air conditioned rooms. Comfy bed and a quality bathroom and shower.

Bad experience because rooms were minute especially if two of you are sharing. Hardly any storage space. We had ground-floor room with insecure patio window. Smelly reception area.

Youth hotel with adult prices. Location is perfect. Black mould in shower, soundproof is not there and most of the stuff have no understanding of how the hospitality business works. Random key cards not working (yes handled properly away from devices) and airconditioning randomly turning on in the middle of the night. There are certainly better options out there for the prices they charge...

Stayed here for 2 nights while vacationing across Europe and it was by far my favorite hotel of the trip. The breakfast was amazing. We had a triple room, and all got our own beds. The location was perfect, right near one of the hop-on-hop-off bus tours and Check Point Charlie. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful. Absolutely recommend this hotel!

Just wow. The location is amazing, a lot of historická buildings are less than 20 minutes by foot, including museum island, Brandenburg Tor, Charlie checkpoint and more. The hotel is very comfortable, rooms are clean including the bathroom. Breakfast is perfect, but the price is higher (20€). I recommend this hotel a lot.

Excellent hotel, close to many tourists attractions. Check point Charlie just around the corner, many restaurants options around and the hotel breakfast is very complete. I would stay here again. Best part of this hotel is the customer service.

Great location for a stay in Berlin! Obviously there is alot to see in Berlin so you can't walk to everywhere, but it is either walkable or not far from a bus stop that goes everywhere. Service was friendly and they have water and sweets in the lobby. There is restaurant attached to the hotel and plenty of other eating options in the area. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. They provide maps too which can be helpful.

Not bad, tiny room, not much airflow noisey window onto the courtyard so not nice when it’s warm as that’s the only airflow option for fresh air. Otherwise staff friendly and good location but it is a bit boring but then I’m more of a hipster laidback type

Everything was great: clean, cosy double room with functional design, super friendly staff and a very central location. Definitely recommend for a short-term stay.

Great hotel.. unless you are two young woman looking for a place to stay. The manager (or what else het function was) looked like she almost wanted too fight my friend! We never where too loud or anything.. one time we brought someone over and that one person was sleeping with us, okay we could’ve mention that and we know it was our fault but it was very late than. Later on we paid for the extra person! But from that moment the staff was so rude! They said we made a teribble mess but there only where crumbs on the floor? They said we ruiend the carpets but nothing was wrong with it? I made a video before we left of everything for evidence and on that they weren’t saying anything anymore. More things where -I was sleeping and they knocked on my door very lood but I had the ‘do NOT disturb’ card on my door but the so called manager just went in my room without promission and when I still was laying in bed I asked her too leave but she did not leave! -she was also judging my friend because one time she was sleeping somewhere else and the manager asked very rude where she was and was judging her and when she told the manager she was sleeping somewhere else, the manager nod her head said it was a waste of the room even tho i slept in the hotel room. -they told us every day too pay for houseceeping but it was free? -on the day we had to go back they let us wait on purpose for no reason -the whole stay the staff was soo rude too us only because we let another person sleep where we paid for? The staff was very rude and racist also so I do not reccomend this place, we did not had a safe feeling here sadly, Nice hotel but that was it… if people have questions please ask! I get that what we did about bringing a person over (where we paid for but okay) was not okay and they did not like it, but how do you treat your guest like that?

Great hotel with nice room and big bathroom. Quiet at night. I liked a lot design, room was perfect for three persons. Very friendly service. Good location in the center.

Clean and affordable. Good location close to Checkpoint Charlie. Green is obviously a hotel theme, and they have green lights in the windowsill. It cannot be switched off, but it has a timer. Kind of annoying if you want to go to sleep before 2130

Hotel was fine, we stayed here for 4 nights. Location was great as well as the breakfast for €15 pp, we only expected more from our room (for the price). My bed was full of hairs when we arrived, when I went to complain they came to change the sheets. No fridge in the room. Storage is pretty minimal.

A 3 minute walk from the world famous Checkpoint Charlie and a U-Bahn (underground train) station. Rooms are simple but proved to be sufficient and clean as well as having few nice design touches. Staff are friendly and helped with changing rooms swiftly. I would recommend this place for someone who needs a place to sleep while being very close to an important part of 20th century history

The room was very clean and comfortable. The frontdesk was very friendly and helpful. You have a lot of privacy and no noise that keeps you up at night. Our room didn't have airco but there was a little ventilator. Berlin was 20 degrees celcius, but the room was too warm. So in the summer no airco could be an issue. I was also missing an instructioncard in the room with information about wifi-code, check-out time, breakfast time and other small details. But overall it was a clean hotel within just a few steps from Checkpoint Charlie.

Excellent customer service. Unfortunately did not get to stay at the hotel due to flights being cancelled at the last moment but the staff at the hotel were very understanding and helpful. Hopefully we will get to visit soon, really looking forward to coming!

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night because we had a concert in Berlin. We had a great experience at the hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who checked us in and pointed us to our rooms. Our rooms were small and very neat. Everything looked clean and well maintained. The beds were quite hard, which is something to take into account if that's a problem for you. We had breakfast at the hotel the morning we left. Once again this was great, there was a wide variety of choices from the buffet. The only downside perhaps was that the lady checking our room numbers at the breakfast hall didn't seem to speak a lot English. Which is a bit strange in a big city like Berlin. The hotel overall was quiet and nice. Public transport is not too far away and the hotel prices are reasonable.
