We were in this hotel for the first and last time! They give out only 1 card per room, and when I asked for another one, the man at the reception was shocked that I asked for another card! The waiters in the restaurant only speak German. Wifi is terrible. Ear sticks are not issued, you have to ask for a bathrobe at the reception, the maid will not give you, you have to ask for towels yourself, they just don’t change

I like it a lot! Clean, modern and large rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. 👍 I think the rolls are from a bag end baked to finish 🤔. But the tast and quality is good. And the great selection of food and drinks is awesome 👌. I love that they care for the environment and offer you a drink (5€) at the bar if you scan a QR code on your room to skip room cleaning for the next day.

good location ,but you have to be aware of visiting your room even if you did ask not to be disturb . when you will come back to your room you might be surprised , because the didn't pay any attention to your request not to open the door in your room .besides that it's is a nice hotel

Fine hotel, great location - within easy reach of the city centre: walkable if you choose. Good sized rooms for 1 or 2 with Aircon but no in room coffee/tea. Good mixed breakfast including a hot selection for those who prefer. No evening catering this visit but there is a massive choice of eat out, takeaway or delivery options close to you. Good bar with coffee. Staff friendly and helpful - cheerfully solving a 'left my charger at home' issue, complete with choice of leads. In common with other Euro areas, things are a bit dear generally but then we did choose to leave...

I stayed here regularly during my visit to Berlin. I found the staff to be really nice, including the receptionist. There is a gym and sauna downstairs and they are very ample. The rooms are clean and come with a bath tub which is always a plus. The cleaning staff are diligent and do a good job. I would recommend to stay here if you can. I would say the only big negative is the receptionist is very spotty in the evening. One night, I waited for over an hour and the receptionist did not even bother to leave a note. I thought that was inexcusable.

This is my 4th time staying at this hotel. I always came back because I was happy with the service. However this time was different. I arrived earlier than check in time. Both receptionist didn’t even greet me. And left me there pretending to be busy. When I finally got their attention I was told rooms are not ready Which I as fine, I went for lunch. When I came back and sat waiting I realise that the two reception took in more and more guests in. So I decided the queue up. And once again when it was my turn they pretending to be busy. So finally they checked me in to room 126. I assume this is the room they don’t like the guests as this was much smaller than all the rooms I’ve been in before. The lady seems dismissive when serving me like she didn’t care. I then ask her why she saw everyone else and not me. Is it my skin colour. She said no they paid 25 euros more. I don’t know which part of my looks like I can’t afford 25 euros But why did she assume I haven’t paid for 25 euros already? And greeted the other staff Because when I came she didn’t even ask for my booking they just sent me away. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but I am a regular I’ve been 4 times and coming back to Berlin in august. As I travel for work a lot. I left 2 stars instead one 1 because I was happy previously If you want to look for my name on you system is hung vo You can see I visit often. I arrived on Friday 18th March and stayed u til monday21st It was Friday and Saturday that the two rude staff was there. I assume this was because I am a person of colour. That they treat me differently. Because they were very attentive and nice to white guests.

The rooms needed renovating, they looked tired and very used. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The bath towels were very thin and small. The writing desk was falling off the wall. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and old. Wallpaper was coming of the walls. It was a disgrace and very disappointing. Not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. I would not recommend staying at the ABBA hotel in Berlin.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It's in a great location, walking distance to major stores and the train to take you into the middle of the city and all the major sight seeing spots. The staff was super friendly and accommodating of our rather large group staying there. There are a bunch of great restaurants in the area too. Also has a convenience store less than a block away for all your hotel room snacking desires! Room was clean and beds were super comfortable. Had a great view of the area as well. All in all, great place to stay!

The Hotel has excellent service and a highly delicious breakfast. It is located close to Kurfürstendamm, where great restaurants can be found. I recommend it, do not forget to reserve a room in advance

Gute Lage, saubere Zimmer, schön ruhig, sehr langsamer Aufzug (wichtig im 7. Stockwerk!)

Sehr guter Service, Danke

Although the rooms were large in size and very clean the beds were like rock. The pillows were also awful like couch cushions. We asked for extra pillows and they indicated they ran out. We received on our last night there.

Fantastic place to stay, only a short walk to the nearest S-Bahn station to get around the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating and very patient with any attempts to speak my very bad German skills!

It was a real pleasure staying at your amazing hotel! First of all the staff was really nice and helpful, the food is great, the room is big and clean with nice view, great location, i really loved it all! Can't wait to visit your hotel again, hope to see you soon! Thanks for everything:)

The staff were very polite, knowledgeable, and treated me with utmost courtesy and friendliness. I liked the proximity of the hotel to the Savignyplatz S-Bahn station, which made my ability to get around town simple and easy. The rooms were clean, quiet, and modern without being kitschy. I loved this hotel!!!

The Spa kooks very beautiful. The room had very good lighting, not like most other hotel rooms. The biggest dumbbell in the gym was only 7 kg. The internet (wifi) was extremely slow.

Very close to the sightseeing bus, a shopping area (if you care about that), bus and metro. All in all, a great starting place to explore Berlin. Very helpful and friendly staff. You can buy tickets for the sightseeing bus and public transportation at the reception. Nice, comfy beds, too.

In general everything was good, we like the room, but with some moments with room housekeeping. Room housekeeping - was strange, comparing to other 4 stars hotels. Personal do it not in good manner (looks like just for checkbox). We don't see that room and also mirror in bath was carefully cleaned. Shampoo mini bottles not added every day, as it was from my experience in other 4 stars hotels. And small remark for breakfast, as I can compare with other 4 stars hotels (I was visited a lot in different countries), I would say, that breakfast with all varieties is for 3.5 stars. For 4 stars should be little better. So, in general hotel is good, but some improvement is needed.

Second time in this hotel, the location is wonderful, service is very good, quite and comfortable, breakfast was a bit poor and unorganized.

Spacious room , good views. Looked more like a 2 star hotel to me. The room was dusty all over, even in the bathroom

  • 3/5 Logeirini14 L. 2 years ago on Google
The rooms were not clean, dirty bathroom and dirty curtains. The decor was between old and new without being something very beautiful. The hotel may indicate that earlier years may have been a decent place to stay. The 3 stars are for breakfast which was surprisingly delicious. The parking was 20€/night

Can't fault it. Reception staff lovely, mainly dealt with same young man, who couldn't do enough for us. Can purchase tickets here for tram/ underground etc. Dead easy, only about 8 min walk to station if that. Few local cafes/shops. Cant fault cleanliness. Timed it right for yearly change over of mattresses. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. I'd stay again. ❤

My family and I had a wonderful visit to Abba Berlin. Although the location is outside the center-city, the neighbourhood was hip and beautiful, and the S-Bahn made the entire city easily accessible. To reiterate on other reviews, the breakfast really made this place! Delicious spread with beautiful accommodations.

The bedroom and bathroom looked worn out and needed renovating. The bath towels were small and very thin. The room was advertised with a mini bar, which was empty. The carpet in the corridor outside our room was dirty. I wrote a review whilst at the Abba Hotel, to be informed I should have complained earlier and then I would have been offered another room. So does that mean they wait for people to complain before giving them a room of an acceptable standard. I do not know how this hotel can have a 4 star rating? I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great service, nice and clean rooms. The breakfast could have a bit larger selection, but all in all a good stay.

I went for a work conference. First of all the conference/meeting services were great. Very organized. The meeting room was very adequate. There was a staff member who was in charge of looking after us, providing waters, snacks etc. Very good. The rooms are large and clean. I do understand why some people complain about the pillows. They are small and hard. There are no coffee pots, or tea kettles in the rooms. You can ask for an electric kettle at reception. The breakfast buffet is very nice with a lot of variety. The staff was always helpful.

Didn't like the manager (he'll know to whom I'm speaking), too much of an arogancy for my taste, he hears only what he wants to hear, they wanted to charge me a parking lot, although I went there by a plane, I was asking a room with a breakfast included, they wanted to charge it extra, even they asked me to pay in advance this things happend. On the day before check out I couldn't get inside my room, so again I needed to ask what is happening, I was told I wasn't booked for one more night...clearly, I was shocked, so, despite all good people working there, and I only mean to cleaning ladies and restorant people, they were great, I'll not be staying at this hotel any more...I even didn't get at least an apollogy for their mistakes, their approach was that it was my fault...I wish them all the best, but they will not see me again...

Had a lovely stay at the ABBA hotel, our room was large and lovely and clean. The only thing missing was tea and coffee in the room. The only way you could get tea and coffee was if you had breakfast. The staff were lovely and most helpful. Well done.

In the heart of Berlin. You can rent a bike for 18 euros for 24hrs and its fun. My shower was faulty when we checked in but they couldn't fix it until the next day so I couldn't shower that night. It was basically impossible to get an iron to get my wife's clothes pressed before we headed out. 3 nights and we still couldn't get hold of an Iron

This was my group’s first stop in Europe. The room was small, but gorgeous and timelessly decorated. Large windows opened to a beautiful view of the shops nearby. I felt a little unsafe in the shower, as there appeared to be no safety grips.

Good price for Berlin. Close to S ban. Food store close and helpful since many rooms havr small kitchen.

  • 4/5 Sxoliki A. 2 years ago on Google
Extremely clean and spacious room (compared to most standard doubles) with a nice bathtub and a new SmartTV. The mattress was huge but not of exceptional quality. A 6-7 minute walk from the Savignyplatz tube and then a 20 minutes ride for the main tourist attractions, but only one block away from Ku'udam street for shopping lovers. We were offered a kettle when we asked, but next time we will book a comfort room with a coffee machine.

abba is a nice hotel that is located next to Ku Damm, which is the biggest shopping district of Berlin, with independent shops and the famous KaDaWe department store. The rooms are clean and spacious and the king sized bed was very comfortable. The lobby and staff are really nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone !

We chose this hotel specifically because it had a gym. Unfortunately the dumbbells only go from 1kg to 7kg. So it’s not fit for purpose. Instead we went to a local gym and we’re very satisfied. Seriously, what gym has a 1kg dumbbell? Anyway, everything else in the hotel is standard and that’s good. Bar doesn’t open till 5pm. Again. Weird.

lovely hotel ideally situated just off main shopping street, just 5 mins walk away. friendly welcome. large room, very large comfortable bed. excellent choices for breakfast. only downfall is no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. even without them, we would definitely stay here again.

Booked the Junior Suite. Was given a room with no coffee machine and a broken fridge. Also, the room has only one seat in the “living” area. Even though it was a “Suite”. When we asked for a change of room (same room type) we were charged 20 euro cleaning fee. What nonsense.

  • 3/5 Abdulhassan T. 1 year ago on Google
One thing negative is that there is no coffee machine in the room. The other huge defect is the raised bath tub. I am 5' 9", and every time I tried to leave the bath tub I slipped and it could have been a serious injury. Bath tubs are a thing of the past. Walk-in showers is the trend. It doesn't make sense why the bath tub is raised so high. How could an elderly person enter and leave the bath tub? This is a serious safety concern.
