Also Preis-Leistung stimmt gar nicht.

Room for someone on a low budget. Good enough for a one or two night stay..very basic, so don't expect much. Friendly Staff.

One of the worst places I stayed in my entire life. Beds are so uncomfortable. Either they had bedbugs or a lot of mosquitoes because I’m itching everywhere. Staff seemed nice and it’s in a really good location but that’s it. After all, worst experience ever..

Very cheap and fairly clean, but the rooms really need remodeling. I was super cold with the heating at full blast. No internet in the rooms. The receptionist was very kind. I did not try the breakfast. It's a bit loud when other guests walk next to the room or the other floor.

It's good value for money, there is transport very close, and the staff is very friendly. However the bathroom is very small (if that's something you care for) and if you get a room for 2 people, you might get two separate beds instead of a double (we asked but they didn't give us a double). Also, if your room is far from the reception, the WiFi is not working.

Had a really pleasant stay! We booked a Standard Room, which was spacious. The bathroom was also nice, and everything was clean. The entrance of the building is beautiful, and members of the staff were friendly. Negative points: noisy in the corridor (but we still slept very well) and as it's a very old building, the door of our room was difficult to close. You have everything you need around the hotel (cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, s-Bahn, u-Bahn, tramway...), was a great value for money!

Also waren 3 Nächte hier.

Having read previous reviews I was quite apprehensive about our visit…. We originally had the hotel booked for 2020, non refundable booking so we rebooked via email 3 years later with no issues at all, communication was great! On arrival we found the hotel with ease, it is on the 2nd floor of the building. Lovely warm welcome by staff & shown to our room, we had a family room for 2ad & 2ch & it was huge, could easily have slept 6. Very clean & beds were fairly comfortable. No view & it was quite overlooked so we just kept the curtains closed. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment there. Location was fab, Walking distance to plenty of shops , restaurants, train stations, zoo etc. This hotel is not luxury, you are also not paying luxury prices…. For a few days exploring the city on a budget it is perfect!

Good location, average rooms that need renovation, hardly any english speaking personel that asked for 20€ for late checkin(first time i hear something like this) due to flight delay.

For its price it is the best option! Located in a super nice area and the rooms are clean! Friendly staff! Highly recommended!

English language problem. Location is not clear. Very high painful ladders without elevators. Not suitable for wheel chair and elder people especially when you arrive from airport with your luggages! Rooms are very poor. Toilet is very very very small (dimensons hardly accommodate a kid!!!)

Good money for quality, really cheap so do not expect too much, but bathroom is clean and well maintained. When colleague was sitting down one bed decayed because of very poor construction but we get another room instead.

A great central location for a visit to Berlin handy for the railway station. Rooms are dated but comfortable beds with spotless sheets and towels. Staff in hotel friendly and most helpful, we had a great stay there.

Low budget Hotel for people with less aspirations. Don’t expect a modernized, stylish hotel room. There’s everything you need in a very basic non-modernized version. Ideal for people who just need a place to sleep and have some privacy on a low budget level.

Cheap and friendly staff. Good location. About what you would expect for the price. Can get loud in the evening from the outside.

I'll start with the positives, for a short stay, the beds are comfortable, the amenities are clean and the location is very close to a train station with connections to the city centre and major train stations. However, the hotel booking posting is very misleading - the entrance looks like a big glass door with lights and gives the impression that the reception would be right there and there is no indication at any point that this was not the case, and all there is to show the hotel is there is a small metal plaque and a sign saying HOTEL. There are no pictures of the actual entrance for the hotel or any indication that the hotel was on the second floor of what looks like a residential building (no lift is available). On top of this, prior to arriving, the hotel did not contact us to let us know how to enter the building, so we were left for minutes trying to enter the building by clicking multiple buttons on the intercom, until another guest was able to let us in. Again, no signs inside the building directing where to go, and the building looks like it is not maintained very well and quite unclean. When we get to the second floor, we find the entrance and the receptionist was friendly and showed us to the room very quickly. The room was similar to what is in the pictures and is dated, the toilet has a dated pump flush and very loud. There was a small sofa in the room that had multiple stains and looked like it has seen some wear and we avoided sitting on it. The receptionist never explained how we would actually get into the building so when we returned back to the hotel in the evening we spent another few minutes clicking buttons on the intercom and trying to use the keys we were given until another guest was able to let us in, this would have been a major problem if the guest did not show up as there was no hotel staff available at the time. In fact, apart from that first afternoon, we did not see any receptionist staff during our 2-night stay. The Wifi is basically non-existent so keep this in mind if you will rely on this, luckily we did not need it and didn't really try to use it, but when we did look out of curiosity, it did not seem like there were any available, and I do not recall being given any passwords or Wifi details. During one of the mornings, we heard really loud noises of things being dragged outside, probably from residents in the building. Overall, for a short stay where you don't intend to stay in the hotel, this is a good option especially as it is a good location but don't expect too much from this "hotel"

My father and I booked the hotel before Covid and we had to cancel it due to the Covid situation. We didn't ask for the refund because the hotel asked us to be considerate with the difficult situation and we accepted a voucher that could be used within 3 years. Now that I am trying to book a room and used the voucher before it gets expired nobody is answering me. I sent more than three emails from my personal email and I didn't get an answer. However, when I have sent another email from my father's email saying that he was interested in booking a room for some days but without saying we had a voucher, they answered in a few hours... I told them again we had a voucher and nobody said a single word again. It's a shame how they take advantage of customers who have already paid.
