This place is gorgeous. It's not a hotel in the commercial way, so don't expect a cheap kettle and coffee sachets in your room. This hotel is based inside a gorgeous old historic building. The stay here was truly wonderful. The staff, especially the handsome breakfast server, were all very attentive and professional. I doubted whether my return taxi they booked for me at 4.30am would be there, but it certainly was! Who doesn't want a beautiful chandelier in their bedroom? Or an oversized mural of a famous 1920s icon - that I probably should know? (Don't @ me, I know it's Marlene 😉). The mattress was, thankfully, firm and the bedding was clean and new. The room has incredibly high walls, giving a real sense of grandeur. It had all I needed for my short stay. The built in en-suite had black slate tiles and was contemporary and finished to a high standard. Because the hotel is situated inside an old building, the heating was provided by a radiator - which more than heated the room in the -13°C temperatures of Berlin in winter. Breakfast is served from 7.30 into 12, and there's a huge selection of food to get your day started. Including personally cooked eggs by a rather dishy cook 😍 But possibly the best part was using the old wooden elevator to get to the 3rd floor. It made me feel like I was in a period piece drama from the 1890s. If I'm ever lucky enough to get to Berlin again, I would definitely stay here. It's a shame I was only staying for 3 nights. As independent owners of a small gay business, I strongly recommend lending them your support 👍🏼

It is a very different unusual but interesting hotel. Parking for me was very easy as I found a spot right in front of the hotel. It is in walking distance to KaDeWe Department Store. Which saves you extra parking fees! The hotel was not visible at first sight. But that’s okay. The elevator to the third floor is very old school which I like. It’s a cool experience. The shower is very clean. I just didn’t like that i couldn’t sleep due to the party noise which I usually don’t mind but I had a long day and a long drive in front of me and needed rest. In the morning you can hear every step outside and the floors are queaking just a warning for noise sensitive people… but overall it’s cute.

Wunderschönes kleines Designhotel in einem typischen Berliner Altbau. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, sehr zentral und Szenenah gelegen. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer/Frühstücksraum. Sehr netter Chef und sehr nettes Personal.

Great hotel if your after something a bit different in the Gay area of Berlin. Great gay bar and nightclub on the doorstep and whilst that makes it a little noisy if your in a room on the street it was just a good excuse to go for a drink instead. (Wasn’t so loud on Friday/Saturday night that you couldn’t sleep but definitely could be heard) Hotel decorations are fantastic and the building is beautiful. Rooms are on the basic side but clean and has everything you need and for the price you really can’t complain! Breakfast was great - I didn’t prebook but was able to add on arrival. Staff were friendly.

I am grateful for your exceptional customer service, particularly during my late check-in. Despite the inconvenience, you thoughtfully left the key to my room in the designated box, which made the check-in process seamless. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your patience and understanding regarding my language difficulties. Your tolerance and support made me feel at ease, and I truly appreciate it. I can confidently say that your hotel is a gem, and I will be delighted to recommend it to my friends and colleagues. When I visit Berlin again in the future, I have no doubt that I will choose your hotel for my accommodation.

What a fantastic place! The room was very comfortable, the location very good as well, but the real distinction here is the service. Everyone we talked with was friendly as can be, and very accommodating. What surprised me the most: chit-chatting with Stefan we mentioned that Saturday was our anniversary, and then look what he did at breakfast as a total surprise! How nice is that?? There is no doubt in my mind that we will be staying here again!

The nicest staff and nice spacious room. My husband got really sick and the staff called a doctor and made sure he got water and tea. I will recommended this hotel (guesthouse) 100 % and definitely be back!

Not your usual hotel room. There is a bit of “unusualness “ about this place that makes it very different. And as a person who has travelled the world, I mean that in a good way. The only negatives - the car parking is about a kilometre away and there is no air conditioning in the room. But considering the price , very satisfied with the experience.

I loved my stay here — very Berlin, from my beautiful and airy Marlene Dietrich room to the friendly and easygoing staff and the tasty breakfast spreads (very much worth the add-on). Clean, quiet and private environment. I’ll happily return.

The hosts Stefan, Miroto, and all the other staff were friendly and welcoming. Comfortable room and very convenient location. Despite the lively location, the room was peaceful at night (but we stayed mid-week). Highly recommended.

My stay at ArtHotel Connection in Berlin was an absolute delight from start to finish. Situated in a very good location, this charming boutique hotel offers easy access to the city's vibrant attractions while providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the fantastic host, Stefan. From the moment I arrived, Stefan went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. His warm hospitality and attention to detail made me feel right at home, and his insider tips on local attractions and restaurants were invaluable. The accommodation itself was cozy and stylish, with unique artistic touches that added character to the space. The room was well-appointed and impeccably clean, providing all the comforts of home and more. Plus, the complimentary amenities and thoughtful extras made for a truly luxurious experience. One of the things that stood out to me most was Stefan's willingness to accommodate my needs and preferences. Whether it was arranging transportation, making restaurant reservations, or simply offering a friendly chat, Stefan was always there to help with a smile. Overall, my stay at ArtHotel Connection exceeded all expectations, thanks in large part to the exceptional hospitality of Stefan. If you're looking for a unique and memorable stay in Berlin, look no further than ArtHotel Connection. I can't wait to return!

Great boutique hotel in a great neighborhood - close to shops, restaurants and the U train. Definitely recommend staying there when you’re in town

Very central location, very close walking distance to the KaDeWe. The best part was to speak in Spanish with lovely Cristina who is a very professional and customer oriented staff at the reception there. She even made it possible to help me get breakfast earlier to make it on time to my conference. Totally recommended! And btw, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the entire building is very historical and beautiful. And having breakfast whilst listening to classic music was very relaxing.

I stayed 7 nights and had breakfast 5 morning - I could not have asked for better accommodations, friendlier staff and a better breakfast, particularly for the price. It was a complete pleasure!

Such a great place to stay in Berlin. Also one of my best hotel experiences. The staff was super nice and helpful, they acted like friends of ours, which provided a warm welcome at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Would return anytime. They have asked for feedback in my mother tongue (in Hungarian), which is nice of them, I think. :)

I had a few days on my own to visit Berlin for the first time and I'm so happy I chose to stay here. My room was beautiful and unique and cozy, as was the whole hotel. The staff was warm and welcoming too. I can't wait to visit Berlin again, and I would definitely come back to ArtHotel Connection.

It’s not the first time we stayed at this hotel and it’s always a pleasure, everything fits. Excellent price friendly and always helpful staff, excellent breakfast. There is nothing I could fault. If you want to have a perfect gay break in Berlin I can recommend this pace.

A Home-from-home setting, comfortable rather than luxurious, spacious rooms overlooking tree-lined blessedly quiet streets, have loved coming here for years, and will continue doing so.
