This
place
is
gorgeous.
It's
not
a
hotel
in
the
commercial
way,
so
don't
expect
a
cheap
kettle
and
coffee
sachets
in
your
room.
This
hotel
is
based
inside
a
gorgeous
old
historic
building.
The
stay
here
was
truly
wonderful.
The
staff,
especially
the
handsome
breakfast
server,
were
all
very
attentive
and
professional.
I
doubted
whether
my
return
taxi
they
booked
for
me
at
4.30am
would
be
there,
but
it
certainly
was!
Who
doesn't
want
a
beautiful
chandelier
in
their
bedroom?
Or
an
oversized
mural
of
a
famous
1920s
icon
-
that
I
probably
should
know?
(Don't
@
me,
I
know
it's
Marlene
😉).
The
mattress
was,
thankfully,
firm
and
the
bedding
was
clean
and
new.
The
room
has
incredibly
high
walls,
giving
a
real
sense
of
grandeur.
It
had
all
I
needed
for
my
short
stay.
The
built
in
en-suite
had
black
slate
tiles
and
was
contemporary
and
finished
to
a
high
standard.
Because
the
hotel
is
situated
inside
an
old
building,
the
heating
was
provided
by
a
radiator
-
which
more
than
heated
the
room
in
the
-13°C
temperatures
of
Berlin
in
winter.
Breakfast
is
served
from
7.30
into
12,
and
there's
a
huge
selection
of
food
to
get
your
day
started.
Including
personally
cooked
eggs
by
a
rather
dishy
cook
😍
But
possibly
the
best
part
was
using
the
old
wooden
elevator
to
get
to
the
3rd
floor.
It
made
me
feel
like
I
was
in
a
period
piece
drama
from
the
1890s.
If
I'm
ever
lucky
enough
to
get
to
Berlin
again,
I
would
definitely
stay
here.
It's
a
shame
I
was
only
staying
for
3
nights.
As
independent
owners
of
a
small
gay
business,
I
strongly
recommend
lending
them
your
support
