Unkompliziertes Stadthotel in zentraler Lage. Freundlicher Empfang, sauberes, hübsches Zimmer und insgesamt eine Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen. Ich konnte bei gekipptem Fenster schlafen, obwohl mein Zimmer zur Straße lag, von der Geräuschkulisse war es für mich völlig okay. Check out um 12 Uhr ist sehr großzügig geregelt. Das Frühstück mit Kaffee/Tee und zwei Sorten frischen Croissants finde ich eine super Lösung in Zeiten, in denen kaum noch MitarbeiterInnen zu finden sind. Gerne wieder!

Overall, this hotel was great! Clean bedsheets, very comfortable bed, decent space, and opening windows. The price was also very good for the room. I would touch up the the bathroom though, it has a peculiar odor to it that makes me a little uncomfortable. I also think it would be a good idea to make the bathroom a little more modernized as well. But all in all, it is an amazing hotel to stay in! The staff were very nice and helpful for our stay.

Very beautiful hotel. Very manageable price considering it's location in Berlin. The breakfast is very good, they provide a wide variety of warm things which is included in the hotel bills. It is very close to the bus station and to lots of shops. However, one bottle of water costs 5 euros which I think it's a bit too much.

Great hotel close to zoological gardens railway station. And next to a no 100 bus service. 24 hour front reception with 24 hour bar. 3.50 euros foe a ice cold beer 500ml. Nice seating area outside. Rooms are really comfy. All the staff are lovely... thanks

Wegen des Frühstücks sollte man das Hotel nicht buchen. 🙄 Ironiemodus Ende. Aber jetzt konkret: Zimmer, Service, Standort wurden von mir differenziert bewertet. Man sollte als 3-Sterne Hotel keine 5-Sterne erwarten. WYSWYG.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The 20 square meter room I rented was spacious enough for two people. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knew just how to strike the right balance with engaging in small talk. The kind older gentleman who welcomed us was attentive, explained everything clearly, and even mentioned complimentary food, coffee, and tea for all guests. The rooms were impeccably clean and I couldn't find anything to complain about. Choosing this hotel was absolutely spot on for me, especially considering the affordable prices.

I stayed from 17th to 23rd September morning (6nights) in this Sorat hotel. All staffs were very kind. The room was very clean and quiet. This hotel was very convenient to go everywhere in Berlin. At this time, I had an ISO meeting at DIN office. If I will have this meeting again in Berlin, I will stay in this hotel. Thank you!

Perfect location Easily accessible with Metros Clean and access with lift Overall, it was perfect. One star less because there was a huge line for check-in in the evening at 6 pm, it took 20 mins to get to the reception. If they can have more people at reception, that could improve.

Very clean and nice hotel, in a great location near the zoo with very convenient transportation. The stuff is very nice and kind. I totally recommend. Only thing missing is a mini fridge in the room.

the good: I had a great experience staying in this hotel, I received my room before check-in time with the help of the nice staff in the reception. the room was very nice and looks like it was renovated recently, very quiet and beds were comfortable to sleep in. also Wi-Fi was really good in my room and there were plenty of wall outlets available in the room. location was really amazing, less then a minute from bus station and 2 minutes walk from the underground with plenty of lines. another nice thing that is worth mentioning is that every morning the coffee machine and croissants were free. the bad: air conditioning was not available in the room which was pretty rough after a long day of walking in the sun, they do provide a little fan which makes the experience bearable. also, cleaning the room happens only once in 3 days.

I am beyond satisfied for choosing this hotel. The staff was very communicative and friendly, which was great as I was unable to speak German, but that didn't stop them! The hotel is very beautiful and the room was not all that large, but it was more than enough for two people. Not to mention the extremely affordable price for a hotel that is in the heart of Berlin and cleanliness. They even serve free croissants, tea and coffe every morning! There's nothing to not like about this hotel.

Der Aufenthalt im Sorat Hotel hätte nicht besser sein können. Super freundliche und serviceorientierte Mitarbeitende. Die Sauberkeit des Hotels und der Zimmer ein weiterer absoluter Pluspunkt. Dazu die zentrale Lage. Und alles zu einem absolut fairen Preis. Und der kostenlose Extraservice von Heißgetränken und Crosaints am Morgen, klasse. I am just confused. I used to stay here for 3 days with my child.. It was really quite good with the reviews but somehow it was not the way how is it in the reviews.. First I dont have cleaning everyday.. I have to take my towel to change in the reception area.. And the garbage I have to put it by myself outside of my door.. It was the first hotel I encountered like this.. The staffs are friendly and fine..

I checked in around 18:00 on September 25th the employee who gave me the key to my room at the reception was very welcoming. The room and bathroom were very clean and quiet. Close to public transportation. If I come to Berlin again I will stay here.

SORAT met all of my needs! The rooms were very clean, beds were cozy, it was quiet, and the lobby was nice. The staff were also very helpful and welcoming. Location is great- you’re walking distance to public transport and the tiergarten. For the price point, it was great. Of course, don’t expect a big room or fancy breakfast, the rooms are small and the breakfast is just as advertised- delicious coffee and croissants.

Our first trip back to the SORAT in 2022 after the refurbishment - as before, an excellent stay - perhaps a few things that need to be looked at, but I am just one customer, and you cannot please everyone! 5* and thank you for your hospitality!

This is a review of the Wellness-Spa Suite. I rented to this room specifically because I gifted my partner a spa-night and the suite has a sauna and whirlpool. Overall the experience wasn't the quality I had hoped for based on the pictures online and a price of 226€ per night. I should also note that our stay was about a week after the covid restrictions on hotels were lifted, so some of my comments might be based on the fact the room had most likely not been used in months due to the closures. Room details: -The whirlpool is large enough for two people to lay down in. The jets work well and there are lights in it. No bubble-bath was in the room. -Sauna is ok for two people to sit in at the same time, but NOT long enough that one person can lay down in it fully. I could lay down with bent knees but I am relatively short. It heats up quite quickly and you can adjust the temperature easily. They also provided a scented oil and a bucket with a spoon for adding moisture to the sauna. -There is a shower with a rain-showerhead, hand-held showerhead, and massage jets (?) coming from the wall. -The only bathroom with a toilet also had a one-person bath /shower combo and a double sink. Pros: -Very nice, attentive workers! I called them several times before my arrival and had positive interactions. They were even willing to turn on the sauna for us so that it would be hot when we arrived. I got the feeling that the woman I interreacted with was in training, and both were a bit bored since the hotel was so empty. -Good breakfast, including Sekt to drink. -Large comfy bed -Lots of space -Sauna was hot and relaxing. Cons: -There is no air conditioning. I should have checked other reviews before booking, but somehow this is so normal in my head, I didn't expect it to be missing. -The mini fridge did not work (we informed the front desk as we left). -No one seems to have turned on the water there for ages. I assume this because when I tried to run a bath in the smaller bathtub, the water was yellow. -The rain-showerhead is old/broken enough that water sprays upwards towards the ceiling as well. I wouldn't have noticed this, except for the fact that the water sprayed upwards into an air-vent that had obviously not been cleaned since reopening. Literal dust/dirt clumps fell down from it as soon as the water was turned on. -The water didn't really get cold. This sounds like an odd complaint, but after sitting in the sauna showering in cold water is an important part of the experience for me. Overall thoughts: The room could use for some improvements/repairs and a deep clean before the next person stays in it.

The hotel is nice in a great location. The staff are very lovely too. The free breakfast snack idea is great, though I’m not a fan of empty croissants. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay which was totally fine by us (but maybe less for others).

Well, I was schoked by a female receptionist action. I was getting a cup of coffee and wanted to cover it with a lid. So, I opened the drawer bottom of the coffee machine and she saw me and yelled me "what did you do? What did just you do?" It was very aggressive reaction. I might make something wrong but this reaction could be held by a very nice warning instead of giving extreme anger towards a customer. I deal with different type of customers from the different cultures but I can't act like that. That was the reason I reviewed it as 1 star. work

Sorat Hotel is in perfect location that is close to all public transportations, shopping malls, shopping districts, bars, clubs, restaurants, supermarkets and everything you need. Large rooms and bathrooms. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Looking forward to my next staying in the hotel.

Very good located hotel. Clean rooms and very friendly staff (at all times of the day). We did miss AC because it was a very hot periode althought we did know that this hotel didnt have AC. Also a fridge or minibar would be nice in hot days. We did know all this before booking so we expected this. Around the hotel several shops, bars and restaurants are available. The hotel is very near the U-Bahn Wittenbergplatz. We highly recommend this hotel.

Me & my friend enjoyed our stay here. Very clean with modern facilities. The gentleman that checked us in/ was on in the afternoons was very welcoming and always helpful when we needed help. Would have liked to see more breakfast options but would deffo recommend. Location is close to railway/ zoo/ many shops and restaurants. Can’t fault it especially for the price. Thank you!

Reception staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful and available 24/7 during our stay. Room very modern and spacious. Maybe a little more detail should be given to house keeping. Breakfast rather poor with just a croissant and coffee / tea. Location is great very close to ubahn and bus stop. Definitely recommendable. 👍

Had a fantastic couple of nights stay here at the fabulously locations hotel which is a fee minutes walk from Berlin Zoo and has stations and bus stops at each end of the road that put you within a few minutes travel away from the major tourist destinations. The hotel itself is really nice with a nice bar and small rear terrace for drinks but my favourite was the breakfast area. What an incredible selection of foods and drinks to start your day. Would happily stay here again and would recommend this hotel to everyone

Staff were so nice throughout the stay. Breakfast at the hotel is definitely a good value - the selection is large. Room was clean and comfortable, includes a kettle and selection of teas and coffee, plenty of towels and space on top of the sink for toiletries, and basic shampoo/body wash.

The lobby is beautiful and breakfast is plenty. The rooms are tired, with old carpet and bathrooms with a weird odor. If you’re able to get on the six floor, those are nicer and up-to-date. I had an issue with my first room and they were able to accommodate me. Very near plaza with metro.
