Fantastic location, clean rooms, very modern service and amenities. Check In / Check out was more or less fully automated, and unlocking the doors via app was also a nice touch. Although it made me a bit nervous as to what I'd do if my phone ran out of batteries before I made it back to the hotel 😂

Great stay when you need a no frills place for a few days or weeks. Everything taken care of and minor issues were solved perfectly and super fast. Wil stay again next trip

Both Greta and Rob gave us the best service we could have imagined, sorted us out with all their local knowledge about the best places to eat and what to visit! All in all a very friendly service and a great experience!

Very nice, hip looking hotel but for what we paid I would have expected a bit more. The room we booked had a bed that was pushed against the side wall so there was no second night stand. There was no headboard either so you can't sit up in bed and read and pillows fall off during the night. There were not enough outlets for 2 people and no outlets on one side of the bed. I think a nightstand, lamp and power outlets on both sides of the bed should be standard. Also, there was just one comfortable chair in the room and one office chair. It seems like it was a room for just one person, which probably would have been fine, not for two people though. The breakfast was really good, filling, and healthy! I would recommend buying the breakfast. The server in the restaurant was super nice too. Overall I felt it was not a good value and the people who designed the rooms do not have much experience and aren't aware of all the small touches that could make it much more comfortable.

All other hotels should follow Bob W's example when it comes to service and nice little touches! We had forgotten our charging cables at home and was despairing the trouble of buying new cables and adapter, but when we arrived it was all there already in the room! They also give you free merch like stickers, postcards, a totebag, and you can use a polaroid camera they let you borrow for free to take pics around town. Just ask and they'll give you anything you need.

Location Location, Location. close to everything. transit, museums, nightclubs, restaurants. nice little details in the room like a shoehorn, great coffee/tea, all the chargers and even a yoga mat! nice quiet hotel with easy access and quick replies from staff via website.

It’s been a very comfortable stay at Bob W Mitte hotel starting from check in to check out. Every step is digital, even room lock is digital controlled via web-site page. The room was very clean, with a cozy design and small nice things such as a personal postcard, delicious tea, pop corn, instax camera, etc. Communication via WhatsApp with the hotel staff was as pleasant as possible. The bed, pillows and a blanket were also very comfortable. I can only recommend this place.

Bin hier nicht das erste Mal, sehr nett sind die handschriftlichen und persönlichen Karten die einem sofort ins Auge fallen. Die Zimmer sind schön (selbstverständlich auch sauber) und auch durchdacht eingerichtet, nicht 0815 wie bei manch anderen. Die Umgebung hat alles zu bieten und lässt auch keine wünsche offen. Ich selbst bin gerne hier und fühle mich sehr wohl. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Das Hotel ist in ruhiger Lage und schnell vom Berliner Bahnbahnhof zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sauber und zwar nicht riesig, aber definitiv ausreichend groß. Besonders begeistert hat mich, dass man alle relevanten Infos vom Vorfeld direkt aufs Handy bekommt und darüber auch den Check-in erledigt sowie alle Türen öffnet. Für mich definitiv ein Plus!

Great location and nice building. The room was overall very nice, especially the kitchen was super well-equipped. Beds and pillows are great as well. Cleanliness was okay, it was clean, but it could be improved (e.g. kitchen towel was not clean, left-over food in the fridge). Might have been just bad luck, hope this is not the standard. I also tried Numa Arc in Berlin, I enjoyed it a bit more.

Great central location, with 2 underground stations nearby or you can walk into the city. Well equipped kitchenette, and quiet and comfortable bedroom. Delicious breakfasts can be taken next door at the Yada Yada Breakfast Club.

I always enjoy staying at The Dude by Charly. The rooms are clean and have modern decor. The location of the hotel is also perfect for getting around in Berlin. I would highly recommend.

My stay in The Dude was a smooth sailing from start to finish. Everything was impeccable, 10/10. Next time I’m in Berlin, I know where to look for superb hospitality and location.

Excellent hotel – great location and really nicely designed. I stayed in the top floor suite and thought it was an impressive amount of space for the price. Very comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower and really helpful staff. I also like that they don't offer individual mini shower gels or shampoos, rather they're on the wall and refilled; much more environmentally-friendly. Would stay here again without much consideration.

some paint and new furniture don't make up for this place still being a at best shabby old hotel. Location is great though.

Always such a pleasure staying here! The rooms are spacious, clean and safe. The beds are so comfortable and the location is perfect. I love the digital check in because it makes everything so quick and easy, really efficient. The Charly team is also so sweet, they have great Berlin recommendations. It’s so convenient that you can just message them on WhatsApp. For example, when we used the bikes; we just sent them a message and got the codes for the locks and could take the bikes! Can’t wait to check out the other Charly locations soon. Thanks for the great service!

Had a long term stay at the hotel. All hotel staff were friendly (above and beyond Berlin standards) helpful and responsive by text. Room was clean and kitchen was well stocked. The location is great and the decor is very cute. Would highly recommend!

Great stay, I will be back. The design and the style of ‘hoteling’ is a new and great. Room size was enough for a long weekend trip, decor was great and communication of staff was great.

Stay here if you like a place that's a cross between an Airbnb and a hipster youth hostel. It's a mostly self-service lodging that's very impersonal. Completely overpriced for what it is, especially considering the location (very dull as commented by other reviewers) as well as the absent / amateurish service (no front desk staff, no daily room freshening, and they don't even bother to wash dirty cups in the room). The grossest thing was a smelly and visibly filthy pillow, which we managed to swap out, but only for it to circle back to us days later... Just throw it out already! The room pictures are accurate...just that there are signs of wear and the room feels a bit bleak for lack of soft furnishings and accessories. There are better choices in Berlin. Just choose a proper Airbnb or a proper hotel, because this strange in between is neither here nor there...

Stayed with my partner for a weekend. The hotel is nice, but I wouldn't say it's good value. What I liked: - good location close to u-bahn - nice interiors and design - comfy bed - really nice breakfast at the adjacent cafe "yada yada breakfast club" served untill 12 To be improved: - the app-based key system was easy to use but I had to fill in my reservation code multiple times which was annoying - had a late checkout 2 pm which was an extra 45 € (!) but was still awakened by the cleaning staff at 9 in the morning and then again at 11 when they wanted us to check out. - breakfast was included in the price but this wasn't communicated to the cafe which caused another call and emailing to the hotel managemnet. - the cafe is very popular as It seems so on Sunday we had to stand in que for quite some time. I find it a bit absurd that you as a hotel guests that has prepaid your breakfast and really can't go somewhere else if you don't want to spend extra money, can't be prioritized over other regular guests. When we called the management (again) she apologized and suggested we ordered breakfast to our room instead. In a room without a table and only on chair. Please. So all in all we liked the hotel, but for that price there are other better options.

what a great little find in Berlin! the check-in process is smart and effective, the rooms are comfortable and practical, the location is PERFECT - all round excellent value and quality for money. Highly recommend.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed me to check in early! I got to the hotel too early and I don’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over to make sure I stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Berlin.

I had a great experience! The apartment is equipped with everything I needed (and more!). The reception’s online & face2face availability and service are wonderful! The location is just great.
