Great location, just 2 mins walk to the train station, Zoologische Garten. The room is generally very clean and they serve good breakfast, especially the croissants.

I really liked the room. It was my second time there and I would do it again. The first time I went to the catering for breakfast it was yummy 😋 I was a bit in a rush this time and I couldn't make it for breakfast. The staff who served me was ok he helped me out with my bill and I asked for a special request, I think, his name was Bruno from the Canary Islands. Thanks, Bruno 🤗 I was kinda tired, exhausted to be honest so I wasn't very talkative but I did appreciate his help. I said hello to the other members of the staff on my way to the room and they answered back 🙃 I didn't catch the name of the lady who helped me with my check out but she was friendly as well. 100% recommended 👌

Liebes Aletto Team, seit Jahren komme ich jedes Jahr mit verschiedenen Gruppen Jugendlicher aus Chile zu euch und immer haben wir einen Service erfahren! Euer Haus hat eine perfekte Lage, das Essen ist sehr gut und das Frühstück einfach vielseitig und sehr gut. Eure Flexibilität und schnelles reagieren bei Anfragen ist einfach genial. Jens hat neulich sogar fast eine Stunde auf die Gruppe mit dem Abendessen im Speisesaal gewartet, genauso freundlich wie immer und ohne uns das Gefühl zu geben, dass wir den Ablauf durcheinander bringen. Wir wollten doch pünktlich sein und dann kam doch etwas dazwischen. Besonderen Dank an ihn! Wer schlechte Bewertungen macht und sich über Obdachlose oder Betrunkene im Umfeld beklagt, kennt Berlin nicht und sollte sich vorher besser informieren. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Wir kommen wieder, immer gerne!

Tolles Hotel wenn man mittendrin sein möchte. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Frühstück überschaubar aber OK. Zentral gelegen, sehr nah an S und U-Bahn. Die Zimmer sind schön aber teilweise sehr eng vorm Bett. Ein Stern Abzug da wir ein Zimmer Richtung Parkhaus hatten. Somit musste man die Jalousie runter lassen sonst hätte jeder ins Zimmer schauen können. Sehr schön ist das es eine Spieleecke gibt wo man Spiele nehmen und eigene Sachen verzehren/ mitbringen kann. Alles in allem würden wir wiederkommen!

Freundlichkeit war super auch saubere Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und gut eingerichtet. Die Lage und äußere Schein echt gewöhnungsbedürftig. S-Bahn, Straßenlärm und hupende Busse nerven, dass öffnen der Fenster kaum lange möglich ist. Lüftung im Zimmer über Nacht abschalten da auch kleinste Stufe laut ist. Wer wenig Geld ausgeben und sauber wohnen möchte ist da gut aufgehoben.

The room and the hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. They also serve some Starbucks drinks which is nice.

Everything is great except the internet connection Room size and facilities are basic and sufficient for us. Location is the best as it's just 2 mins walk to the nearest train lines. The worst part is the internet connectivity. Some of the rooms get pretty weak to none wifi signals. Thankfully one of the lady staff were helpful on giving me chances to move to another room. After visiting multiple rooms, we finally got the room with pretty fast internet connection.

The hotel is very clean and also very modern. I was there for a school project and We had a room of 4. The room was pretty small, not a lot of room to move around but the bathroom and the toilet were pretty spacious compared to the room itself. Yes, there was a bathroom with a shower, a sink and a big mirror and there was a separate WC where the toilet was located. Both the toilet and the bathroom had free shampoo and 2 types of paper. There sadly were no towels but that was the only real downside. The room also has a pretty big TV that is mounted on the wall and doesn’t really take any of the space. The beds were pretty comfortable, both the pillow and the blanket were soft and fluffy and every thing including the bed sheets was white. The room also has a good ventilation system that has an AC function as- well as a heating function. Because I went there with my class, there also was a breakfast included in the price. The breakfast was very good and fresh and no matter how late you went, between 7AM and 10AM everything was fully stocked and ready to be consumed. Bread was very soft, the eggs were hard boiled but not too much and there was a variety of drinks to choose from all the way from water to 3 different types of juices to coffee and tee. The hotel also has a bar with a pretty spacious lounge area. The bar has pretty much everything you could think of and since it is a Starbucks- Bar there are a lot of different Starbucks drinks. The location of the hotel is also very good. There is a big supermarket (Ulrich) tight next to the hotel and the closest “U-Bahn” entrance is like 2 minutes away form the hotel. All in all the hotel was very nice and cozy and I would definitely recommend it.

Nice and very central hotel. As close to Bahnhof Zoo as you can get without sleeping on rails. My room was on the back side and trains could be heard rhroughout day and night. The other side was more quiet as I understood it. Clean room of suitable size. I liked the bath room. No water kettle or coffee, which I would have appreciated. Breakfast was without bacon/eggs which was missed by my fellow travellers. Otherwise ok breakfast. Bar is not reccommendable as drinks were not served and only few beers could be tasted. Vendor machine with bottles right next to bar so customers.were asked to buy soft drinks there.

We experienced a medical emergency and the response and assistance from the hotel, during and after the event was incredible. A special word of gratitude to the front office agent Bruno - a star employee!

The reception desk is always very polite and helpful, but the room cleaning service could do a lot better! They do not sweep nor mop and they do not change the sheets. We are a large group of 34 ppl (30 students + 4 teachers) and we are staying for 16 days. The kitchen staff is always polite, helpful, friendly and smiling and the food is very tasty. The morning buffet for the teachers is rich but for the students is rather simple.

Hotel with a perfect location, spacious rooms with very basic equipment. Beds were clean, as well as the bathroom. But - there were no glasses for tap water, which was a bit of complication for me.

Hotel and rooms were nice and clean. All staff were really helpful. Good thing about this hotel is the location right next to train station and shopping centre. I would definitely stay there again.

Ich war alleine mit meinen drei Kindern dort. Die Lage ist super für sämtliche Ausflüge. Die Zimmer sind nicht riesig aber perfekt genutzt. Highlight für meine Söhne: unter jedem Bett waren Schubladen um etwas zu verstauen. Ein großes Kompliment an das Personal, sie waren durchweg super freundlich, hilfsbereit und engagiert. Gerade auch der Frühstücks Service war super. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war sehr groß und ausgewogen. Rund um war es ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder!

An excellent place to stay in Berlin, close to the hotel metro, shops, services, as for the hotel, beautiful, clean rooms as well as the surroundings of the hotel, excellent services as well as breakfast and beer, coffee on the terrace. Sometimes maybe a little noisier young guests, teenagers. Anyway, I recommend it.

Solide Zimmer, auch wenn das Badezimmer aus irgendeinem Grund mehr stinkt als die Toilette. Außerdem ist der Fernseher so platziert, dass nie alle gleichzeitig gucken können + das Internet funktioniert nicht mal auf dem Bildschirm. Das Frühstück war ganz gut und das Hotel liegt relativ nah an der U-Bahn.

Nice hostel for a quick stay. Close to a metro station. A supermarket is in small distance. A lot of commercial shops and ethnic restaurants are located in the area. Berlin's zoo and other important monuments are pretty close too. Some rooms have a really nice view of the area. Rooms range from cheap to more luxurious ones. Breakfast is served.There may be some fuss and noise since it's a fan favourite for school trips. All in all I would recommend it you're searching for a economical stay.

Cigarette smell - people smoke constantly outside and if you open the windows, you feel locked inside the ashtray, especially considering the size of the room. You can't open the big window anyways, only a small part. The room is too simple and extremely small. Cheap dormitory atmosphere for the price of a good 4 stars hotel. Cleaning staff knock on the door every 10 minutes from 8.30am asking if we are already on our way out. It's annoying when the official check-in is at 11am and you could have slept longer.

The staffs were very nice😊. The price also is very good. Booked for two nights but then we booked for one more night because it was nice. Did not even reserve but came on the spot and got a room for a good price also. The location is also good. The breakfast is good too. The staffs are friendly.

Great hostel with decent prices. Our room was clean and we had no problem. The staff was friendly and willing to help. It's location is also great - U-bahn and S-bahn stations are only a few minutes by walking. It takes ~20 minutes to Alexanderplatz, ~30 minutes to Potsdam.

Really nice hotel with very helpful staff. Big group of 10 so split us into 2 rooms. Both rooms were really clean and restocked every day with towels. Really nice roof terrace and other amenities such as atm, football pitch etc. 2 minutes walk from supermarket and lots of food places. Overall perfect experience

The rooms are small but up-to-date, modern, quiet and clean. Beds are comfortable. Perfect location with a big public transportation hub and a very large supermarket next door. This hotel had everything I wanted and needed for my stay in Berlin. Oh and the rooftop terrace is great!

The stuff is very friendly and ready to help you anytime. At these Corona time, they look that they care people's health. I would recommend to stay here to anyone looking for a hotel.

Excellent location. Train/Bus station (S&U bahn) are just around the corner. The famous KaDeWe, supermarket, and restaurants are a few minutes away from the hotel.

Great hotel, with super friendly staff. We stayed for a weekend. Rooms were nice, basic and clean - just what you need for a weekend away. Good location as it’s just by the station - would return!

Lovely hotel, nice and clean rooms, breakfasts for €10 are worthy to be included. Rooftop terrace observing downtown Berlin is a pleasant bonus. The hotel is located just a few steps from one of the central transport stations, Berlin Zoo, it's only 5 mins by S-Bahn from the Berlin Hbf. It's just a few minutes walk from a lovely park, similar to Central Park in NY, Tier Garten. Also, just at the Zoo station, there is a huge department store, Hit, a variety of food, drinks and other goods at affordable price, so maybe you won't need to go out anywhere for a dinner, just buy something at Hit, go on rooftop terrace and enjoy :)

Rooms are OK. Easy to get to restaurants and shopping. Minimal parking, but parking structure next door was reasonably priced. Areas to play futbol/futsal and basketball.

We stayed in a 4 bed family room. Good price for the value Clean and quite rooms, good working A/C Enough USB-Ports to charge whatever device you want. At the desk as well as next to the beds. Big TV, safe, mirror on the door. Limited parking at the hotel available. Enough parking available in the neighborhood. Close to public transportation (5 Min. walk) No fridge though but that's ok I guess. Many other useful details. We would come here again

clean rooms, friendly and caring staff especially the receptionist. breakfast is ok with a wide variety of choices, the location is strategic to visit berlin even tho it’s not in the city centre.

The room was nice and the staffs were nice as well. The Location located near zoologicher u-bahn with a supermarket and many food stalls nearby.

Breakfast was great, also the location, rooms were clean, room isolations were great, I can't remember his name, but the male attendant who greets at the door helped us a lot in every way, I thank him from here as well. In general, we were satisfied, I don't know if it is so in every room, but there was no ventilation in the toilets, this is a bit of a problem and the internet in the room was almost non-existent, also they do not have hotel slippers, so you have to bring your own.

This hotel shouldn't be as good as it was considering the price. The rooms were clean and a pretty good size for two people. Bathroom was very nice. Our group appreciated that the cleaning staff were careful with moving things around and just freshened things up and gave us new towels while letting us keep the used ones for one extra day. Even though the hotel accommodated a lot of younger guests (youth groups, teams, etc) you didn't notice any extra noise at night, the rooms were very quiet. The AC was top notch and quiet during the very hot days and nights. The breakfast had a good selection and shouldn't disappoint anyone that likes a classic spread. The coffee though.. not the best, get a Starbucks or something on the way. During the evenings the bar in the lobby was a great place to spend time, service could've been speedier at times. Anyway, long story short I truly recommend this hotel!

This is an excellent hotel with great value for money. We had the family room, which actually has 4 bunk beds and one king size bed and still ample of space, so we could easily fit with our family of 5 person and a dog. We could not hear trains at all although station just next door. And the location is fantastic…..

Really nice stay. We were a family of 5 and while the room was small the kids loved the bunks beds. Good choice if you only need the room to sleep. No kitchen, kettle, etc. Very basic, but clean and staff are helpful.
