Very
good
hostel
in
terms
of
modernism
and
location.
The
rooms
are
big
and
spacious
(depending
on
how
many
beds
are
in
there),
giving
you
a
wide
area
to
move
around
and
interact
with
others
in.
The
bathrooms
are
alright
too.
I’ll
always
remember
the
distinct
smell
the
bathrooms
had
and
I’ll
always
be
reminded
of
my
time
in
Berlin
whenever
I
smell
a
scent
that
is
similar
to
it.
There
is
complimentary
breakfast
available
every
day
from
a
certain
time
until
a
certain
time,
but
don’t
expect
anything
fancy;
It
mostly
consists
of
just
fruit,
cereals,
boiled
eggs,
ham
and
croissants.
The
only
real
downside
to
this
hostel
is
that
the
common
area
is
a
bit
rubbish,
but
it
makes
up
for
it
with
the
bar
downstairs
which
is
open
every
night
and
has
a
different
activity
available
every
day
of
the
week,
including
karaoke
which
was
my
favourite.
In
addition,
this
hostel
is
situated
very
close
to
the
city
centre,
making
it
very
convenient
to
get
to
places,
as
many
are
within
walking
distance.
Although
Berlin
is
a
place
I
likely
wouldn’t
go
back
to,
I
would
recommend
this
hostel
if
it
is
your
first
time
visiting
and
you
are
staying
for
a
few
days.
Also,
just
some
friendly
advice:
The
staff
in
the
bar
are
cool
and
happy
to
talk
to
you
and
answer
any
questions
you
may
have
about
the
drinks
which
they
serve,
the
bar
or
anything.
But
try
and
avoid
physically
interacting
with
them
in
certain
situations,
or
else
they
might
tell
you
off
like
the
(apparent)
manager
of
the
bar
did
to
me
after
I
attempted
to
join
in
on
this
silly
game
he
was
playing
with
this
other
guy
who
was
apparently
an
off-duty
or
former
staff
member
whatever
for
the
last
five
years,
where
they
were
play-fighting
with
drink
stirrers.
I
know
it
feels
like
sh!t
to
be
excluded
from
something
which
you
may
feel
tempted
to
be
part
of,
because
you
would
think
that
after
a
few
nights
of
coming
into
the
bar,
having
some
drinks,
chatting
with
the
staff
and
getting
to
know
them
a
little
bit,
you
will
have
earned
their
trust
and
they’d
be
comfortable
with
you
doing
things
like
this.
But
noooo,
you’re
just
a
guest
according
to
the
manager.
And
even
if
this
wasn’t
in
a
bar
or
in
a
hostel,
I
should’ve
known
that
despite
being
able
to
speak
almost
perfect
English,
Germans
are
some
of
the
hardest
people
on
earth
to
befriend.
So
try
to
develop
and
maintain
good
rapport
with
the
bar
staff
without
getting
too
close
and
personal.
Because
otherwise
you’ll
ruin
your
relationship
with
them
and
while
they
may
not
particularly
kick
you
out
or
ban
you
from
entering
(unless
you
do
something
really
stupid),
you
won’t
feel
like
going
back
there
again,
which
would
suck
for
you
because
it
is
a
fun
place
to
be,
if
you
follow
the
rules
and
stay
on
the
good
side
of
the
staff.
