The best hotel in Berlin. A little expensive and needs some updates in their rooms. Besides that, an all time favorite in Prenzlauer Berg my go to and favorite part of Berlin.

Great place off the usual tourist and big hotel chains. Loved it.

I love this place, I've stayed here three times now when I've been visiting Berlin for work. Every room I've had has felt like an upgrade, this time was the Picasso room 7. Its got a cute little outdoor garden bit to relax in in the evening, on three occasions I think I've only ever seen one other guest, it's so quiet but the location isn't that far from central Mitte. There's no one around at the front desk after 6pm, if you arrive afterwards you have to call offsite to get the keys from a safe in the wall, they could probably make that a little clearer but honestly it's not an issue after the first time. Will be back again.

Staying in the family annex rooms and completely satisfied with the service and amenities. Wonderful and friendly assistance and greeting from Stefan. Great area of Berlin and easy walk, drive or transit to downtown for tourist attractions. Highly recommend Unsre Kneipe restaurant next door and local restaurants and cafés.

Nice room but the hotel minibar tried to poison us when it leaked ammonia gas and we ended up in casualty. The hotel eventually refunded us the cost of the hospital bill but did not even offer to give us any compensation for a very frightening experience when the faulty mini bar in the room leaked ammonia gas in our faces when I opened the door. Which was like being tear gassed. You would think they would at least offer to refund us the cost of our 2 night stay. But no. Eventually after multiple messages they offered us 10% if the room back as compensation for our distressing experience and wasted half a day in casualty. The room itself is very nicely furnished but the reception is only for a few hours a day so when we had the issue it took a while for them to turn up. The onsite restaurant is now closed, which they didn't tell us after booking, so while there is a pretty courtyard garden there is no breakfast, drinks or dinner service so you'd have to buy a takeaway or eat elsewhere.

Picasso Room details well taken care of in the design. Cash only seems a bit extreme for rooms costing hundreds of euro per night. Stefan (or was it Steven?) at the front desk is well informed and helpful. Some guests may do well to bring their own ‘real’ shampoo and conditioner - you receive the friendly BIO all-in-one in the shower. The Hotel managed a bit of construction work while guests about very well.

Excellent hotel for the price. The rooms are beautiful, full of light and uniquely decorated, the staff is very friendly. It's also a nice area with pretty quiet streets lined with trees, bistros and breweries. The metro/bus will take you to the city centre in 15min. There's also a welcoming cat at the reception!

Cozy Hotel with high ceilings. Very nice if you're looking for something different once in awhile that's not your usual chain or boring 5 star hotel Has a beautiful lounge area in the courtyard

Absolutely superb. We stayed at the Deluxe studio in the blue house. Superb service, the staff even noticed my birthday and sent up a free bottle of Prosecco. Excellent breakfast and a good location. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room is very stylish. I think the owner of hotel really like art, a lots of paintings and sculptures in the hotel.
