Hotel Retro. , old rooms but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. No, WiFi. Breakfast terrible: eggs with eggs and hair, sausage with sausage and bread. Only 4 people waited a long time for cappuccino and breakfast

The hotel is located about 4 minutes from the Steinplatz stop. The famous Zoo train station is also within walking distance. The hotel itself has a reasonable price/performance ratio. You can also choose from the small breakfast buffet.

Not recommended due to several reasons. -No air conditioning, making it impossible to stay in the room, especially during early mornings when the sunlight directly hits the room, making it like a sauna. Keep away during summer months. -We explicitly told reception to not have housekeeping service throughout the stay. This was only obeyed for 3 out of the 4 nights. Expect more from a '4 star' hotel -Had an additional guest stay over in a double room on the 2nd-4th night. Asked reception if this was ok, and he said no additional charges. Upon checkout, the hotel charged extra for 4 nights instead of 3, instead of nothing as earlier communicated. Due to anger, and just wanting to get away from this hot room, 4 nights extra was paid. Later, we emailed them with the details that they wrongly charged us one additional night, they said it was our fault we accepted this. Money is not the problem, communication is. Service=1 star.

If the price is lower than 60/70 euro is OK... I paid 120 euro during IFA show and the price is over the limit for this basic hotel. What i disliked is the bed smell in breakfast area and in general in all the hotel.

Get cheated by the hotel. They accused us for having 2 people for 4 nights, while we actually spent only 3 nights. We told them to check the security camera, but they deny to do it. We would sue them if possible.

Not a serious hotel. Booking is made via Booking. Then apparently no invoice can be issued and should be sent, which never happens. This means that billing for the business trip is not possible and you are stuck with the costs. Phone number invalid on the internet or no current number can be found. Furnishings are old, TVs with "snow flurries" like in the 70s and Wi-Fi is promised but there is no such thing. At breakfast it's an absolute economy option with just a cheap jam and cheap baked rolls etc. If you can find something else, and that should always be possible in Berlin, you shouldn't book here.

First of all, the location of the hotel is very good, you can reach the subway and S-Bahn in just a few minutes. Very central. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean, the furnishings are ok. Beds are ok. The TV reception is very poor, the bathroom is clean but not very attractive. Breakfast is ok, sufficient with a small selection. I would definitely book the hotel again because the price-performance ratio is completely ok!

We had a small hot-cold problem with the shower in room 11. Otherwise everyone was very helpful and the room was very comfortable, not so cold and white :)

The hotel is totally different from how it is presented. No persons speaking a decent english. They ask for immediate payment at the check in. Wifi service only available in the hall, totally absent in any floor & room. No lifter for a 3-4 stairs building. Very essential rooms, not enough cleaned. The internal style is old and badly mantained.

This is a really nice, small hotel, located in a real good, centrical and wealthy place. The hotel has a nice view with good rooms and an expectational attention. It's near the three best schools at Berlin, near good shopping centers, and lots of restaurants. Also train station, subways and three stops away the central train station. Good experience.

Hotel is nice and affordable for budget travellers, breakfast is a little expensive for 8€. Rooms are big and clean. Missing things are coffee maker, Iron and Watchable English Channels. Hotel is very near to Berlin Zoo and has good connectivity in walkable distance. Over all good place to stay for short span

Caution: the safety of guests and employees is not provided for in this hotel!!! The building is very old, has wooden ceilings, the risk of a fire breaking out is very high, but there are no fire protection systems at all!!! Not even a fire alarm!!!

Watch out ! Not recommendable. Very old small rooms, very small beds, breakfast comes from the Spar supermarket, no card payment possible, invoice should be sent, which has not happened even on multiple questions, no internet on the rooms, no contact options via the website with the hotel (possible (possible Deactivated !!!) and only goes via booking.
