WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER! DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND STAY AWAY FROM IT. We were supposed to stay for 8 nights and ended up leaving after our second night, it was summer time in Berlin and the AC wasn't working so the rooms were literally a sauna, the staff didn't even inform us about the situation in advance and kept lying about getting it fix 'soon', it never happened. Also the rooms are quite run down and in serious need of renovation and deep clean (look at much dust was there on the hair dyer bag, which btw the hair dryer didn't even work). Also I've been reaching to the hotel several times by phone and online to get a simple proof of reimbursement and they just keep ignoring my request. In all honestly I've have never experienced such awful service in my life

This hotel was really cool and had an incredibly chill vibe which I loved! The employees and the rooms didn’t feel stuffy and you could just hang out without feeling like you’re in the way! The rooms were small but felt nice! I would 100% recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Berlin. Especially since it’s walking distance from the train station!

A great place! I stayed there several times and I am perfectly happy with this hotel: the rooms have good soundproof and are cozy and spotless. Very nice and helpful staff at the reception. Good location. And a super cool lobby!

This “trendy” motel falls significantly below Marriot standards, which speaks volumes. Remarkably, no matter how many times you ask them to please send housekeeping, no one will ever clean your room. The reception/bar staff are a fun-loving group of 20-somethings who couldn’t care less about your stay. This place is not suitable for anyone with the expectations of $230 euros per night. We left after the third night and moved to the Sheraton.

A modern hotel with a good location. There are bus and metro stations nearby. The staff is very friendly. They helped me find good spots in the city to visit. The breakfast though is not included and costs 15 euros extra per day. The room is quite empty. There are no cabins, no safe and no fridge. Overall, it was a positive experience.

An sich ein Top-Hotel. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Zimmertüren fallen ungebremst ins Schloss. Und das hört man auch laut und deutlich, wenn die Nachbarn am Ende des Gangs ihr Zimmer betreten oder verlassen…

Its was such a pleasure to stay here! The staff were really lovely and the location is incredible. It's right in the middle of everything and the Ostbahnhoff station near it is all you need to get around and stock up on supplies. I did expect better facilities though. No gym and no laundry service or place to unpack your clothes... Other than that, it was fun.

This was a brilliant hotel. It has a very good area downstairs for working and I was able to get loads done there. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We loved the room we had as well.

Moxy Berlin Ostbahnhof offers a contemporary and pleasant stay, conveniently situated not far from downtown yet close to the historic Berlin Wall. Price: The rates are affordable, aligning with those of other hotels in the area. Service: The staff is attentive and helpful, offering valuable recommendations for local attractions. Rooms: Generally clean and well-maintained, though some rooms may exhibit cosmetic damage to doors. Recommendations: 1. Make sure to book in advance to secure your stay. 2. Arriving late? Consider trying the simple yet satisfying food options available, such as pizza or hot chicken wings. 3. While parking isn't directly available at the hotel, a parking partner option is located just 50 meters away.

No closet, no desk and chair in the room if you need to work. No movie channels. There is no room service or phone to request help. Just two pillows. 200 € /night it is too much for what they offer. You can't connect Netflix either. Never coming back. Different from all Convoy hotels, this is a bad one and really disappointing.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and had an exceptional experience. The staff, particularly Infaz, was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met, swiftly resolving any issues that arose. Additionally, the barkeepers were outstanding, crafting delicious drinks and providing top-notch service throughout my stay. The hotel had a very chill vibe, perfect for unwinding, and the location was excellent. I highly recommend Moxy Ostbahnhof for its exceptional staff, enjoyable atmosphere, and convenient location.

Great spot for the three nights we spent here in Berlin. The rooms are smaller with just hangers for your clothes but other than that, they were comfortable. The service was great and the downstairs bar area was great. You can get almost anywhere via the train station next door.

I’ve never seen a hotel like this, so energetic and vibrant. I would definitely choose Moxy hotels wherever we’re travelling, we loved every second of our stay. Thank you :)

Rooms where quiet and clean, despite the toilet was not flushed (found a number 2). Website says the rooms have airconditioning, which is false. The cooling function is disabled in winter. Staff told me that I should open the window in order to drop the temperature (it was 23 degrees), but there is a lot of noise outside due to the train station and the busy road. The beds where good and the hotel was well designed. Also enjoyed the breakfast. After returning in the hotel at 00:00 am, it was not possible to get a beer, despite the website tells 24/7 grab and go. Staff was still there but where unwilling to help.

I'd made a mistake when booking. Although I had to pay the no show up fee the staff was very helpful and did the way I can see everything they could to help me the cheapest way possible. The only downside is the Chromecast in the hotel room not working (something we weren't told about) and no mini-fridge in the room. Other than that, lovely staff, nice rooms, clean and a very enjoyable hotel

Epic location for the train and great nightlife. Our shower drain was plugged, and as much as I would like to think it's an honest mistake, it needs to be something on the housekeeping checklist. Also, the water temp would not stay consistent as it surged hot and hotter. Really nice rooms with friendly staff.

The staff here were fabulous! We had a wonderful time and can't recommend this hotel enough. The decor was trendy and fun. The bar was open 24/7. The atmosphere that the staff created was chill.

Stayed here while in Berlin and I have no regrets. Eugen really knows how to take care of guests and is so kind. I was traveling solo and he had some great recommendations. The room has everything you need and the bar is open 24 hours. Good for nightlife and site seeing. Highly recommend.

This was one terrible experience. As a travel agent I’ve stayed in many hotels all over Europe and have never been so disappointed. While taking a hot shower, every 20 seconds or so you will have cold water pouring down on you. There was no safe, the rooms are tiny and so are the beds, I’m a small guy and I nearly fell off at night. From the two nights we had reserved we were only able to stay one. Friendly staff however. The room was also placed parallel to train rail tracks which start at 4am. I wouldn’t stay here for free given another chance.

Not as lively as the Moxy in Bucharest, probably because the atrium is so long and an awkward space. Imaginativlyfilled as usual and breakfast OK. Young staff are pleasant. Beer quite pricey.

It was a pleasant stay overall! Employees were very helpful actually! But, I wish they recognised marriott gold elite somewhat better. One thing I disliked about is the price of water and ben and jerry. It is more like a rip-off. €5.5 for a bottle of water…. :( Other than that, everything was great!

This hotel is gross and staff are apathetic, untrained, and unprofessional. I’ve been here for 3 days without a working shower despite changing rooms, and they moved me into a room with another shower that immediately floods the bathroom. Every day I’ve been promised updates or a solution and nothing happens. They don’t even offer you a beer for 3 days of rooms that don’t have AC or working showers. Don’t expect anything from anyone here if things go wrong. I’m checking out two days early and going to the much nicer IHG hotel indigo down the street. Stay away.

I stayed there for 5 days business trip and I loved it! The staff are very friendly, the lobby is well equiped with everything you need to work. The best thing was the breakfast - variety of breads, fruits and vegetables and self service eag and coffee as much as you want. The room was small but enough when you are on a business trip. Most recommend

Nice location - close to metro station and there’s a supermarket nearby. Beautiful clean room, but there is no regular wardrobe. And it would be nice to have a kettle in the room

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down. Favorite place for cold or windy days. Spacious cafe bar in the hall. A lot of social games and unique retro themed tables, posters and stuff. There is also a kicker table.

Moxy is a wonderful upmarket hotel with hipster amenities. The professional ground floor reception team welcomes all and makes a mean cappuccino. They’d do well to switch from Lavazza to a local roaster to enhance the true Berliner small world experience. The breakfast nook offers a great morning meal with all health options before the English breakfast which has been placed almost out of sight in the corner. Local hams, cheeses, yoghurts, breads, buns and fruit all with adequate variety. The rooms offer great mattresses and the full blackout curtaining and shutters help to have a deep sleep away from the bestelling city life late at night. Shower and bathroom are well positioned. Desk space is tiny, but the business center downstairs makes up for this with plenty of room for laptops, Fatboy seating and 2 iMacs for casual brownish, research and meetups. We had a 3 day stay and came away refreshed.

The staff is very welcoming. Free drink for each person checking in. Good common space with board games and the staff also joins you 😁. The room is a little small and unfortunately the toilet was not very well cleaned. The location is really good with Parking on site for 12€ per day. Public transportation is close by and easy to access. In general, a good treat.

Nice cozy place with 24 hours pizza and drinks. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean but no electric kettle in room. No closet either. Their is tea kaffe available in lounge though. Lounge is great. A bit overpriced for whole package it offers

Nice Hotel with the basics, just what you need for a hotel stay in the city. Nicely located near Ostbahnhof station, with connectivity to the Airport & Berlin City. Nice touch with a welcome drink on arrival/any time during your stay (Alcoholic/Non-Alcoholic Available), and decent breakfast for a European Hotel. Only issue was the staff failed to check certain information during check-in (Hotel’s system reflected payment was not made to the hotel, despite being paid, and had to process a payment on the spot as system only found error after), but thankfully was rectified and payment was said to be reversed. Other than that, awesome hotel with a decent price point, will stay again.

I want to give this a higher rating but the AC… The rooms is small, clean, and functional. No closet, kettle, or phone in the room. The phone became in issue because the AC wasn’t working so I had to keep going down stairs. The staff was responsive but I had to change rooms. The AC in the second room did not work either. At this point it was late, I could not call down (no phone in room) and so I ended up getting a horrible nights sleep in a hot stuffy room.

Pretty average place for the money. The staff was nice but had a few minor issues which were not resolved during my stay. Tried to talk to the manager about it but seemingly he doesn't care much about his guests. Pretty disappointing...

Love, love, love this place, the vibe, and the staff. Great breakfast! One “complaint,” is that there’s no closet or dresser, just 3 hooks. So, if you’re there for days, all living is from the suitcase.

Aircon not working made it very hard to sleep as the room was incredibly warm. No effort made to fix this - suspected cooling mode was deliberately turned off to save money. Good hotel otherwise.

We were transiting through Berlin and stayed at this hotel for one night along with our dog. Our experience has been very positive. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with our bathroom sink and we were immediately moved to another room and the staff also helped us move (really appreciate the extra mile). Location is good with an easy on-site parking. Room was very clean and tidy. The aircon was not working but with the window open we could sleep peacefully. Overall great experience for a short stay.

Great value for money. The hotel is hip without trying to overdo it and at those price points the concept works. Rooms and well designed and clean, checkin/-out is efficient and breakfast is worth the extra charge. I have stayed here about 10 times and not once had any reason to complain.

  • 1/5 Magnus H. 1 year ago on Google
Air Conditioning is broken in the whole building. It's currently 30°C in our room. When we ask if it's going to be fixed, they say: "maybe, maybe not, we don't know. You can choose another hotel if you like" I expected better from this hotel.

I enjoyed staying here for 4 nights during a trip to Berlin, I liked that it was located in West Berlin and close to ostbahnhoff. The staff were hip and helpful and the rooms had whatever you needed. They’re not that big, but since you’re probably not there to spend time in the room, it was an okay size, but the beds were comfy! The breakfast was top notch!

This place was great! Trendy place in a good location. The staff was out of this world amazing and what really makes this place - so welcoming, helpful and really make you feel like home when you’re away from home. Rooms are small but they have everything I need and clean. Pizza was surprisingly delicious. Will 100% be staying there again.

It’s a great location for nightlife, many good spots are in walking distance. The room was ok, if very small. The mattress and lighting as well as water pressure were good. Not acceptable: There is absolutely zero space to store clothing. They also should clearly state somewhere that male travelers are the main target demographic. At least that was my conclusion when only provided with a trash can without a lid in the bathroom. Half of the population is menstruating at some point in their lives, and the three tiny plastic bags that were left and were never replaced do not cut it!

Stayed here for a few nights in February. The location is good, near a main Deutsche Bahn stop, but also right across the street from a bus stop. The rooms are rather small, but seem to be nice. The employees at the front desk and at the bar were great! Welcoming and making sure you didn't need directions or anything to do. The biggest complaint is the only spot for clothes is to hang them up on a few hooks right by the door, no cabinets or anything. The shower seemed to have some type of hot water system that would refresh every minute or so, without touching the handles it would get a lot hotter for about three seconds and then cold for the same time before going back to the set temperature.

  • 5/5 Nada A. 1 year ago on Google
Loved our stay there, 2 min.s away from ostbahnhof which doesn't only connect you to wherever you want to go but has many restaurants and supermarkets. The rooms does the job perfectly. If I stayed longer I would've needed a cupboard or any sort of storage but for a short stay it was perfect.

  • 2/5 Mattelle M. 2 years ago on Google
Not impressed. Not typical of Marriott-level hotels. Definitely not a family-friendly place. First room we were put in was damp, musty, and moldy. Awful. Why do that to a guest when other similar rooms were available? At least they refunded some of the bill.

  • 1/5 Cristan C. 1 month ago on Google • 1 review New
Wow! I could not be more disappointed with the service at Moxy Berlin. This is my second time staying at this location and the second time the employees have failed to communicate with eachother about compted items and I have been stuck with the bill. They didn’t note my service animal after I provided official documentation and didn’t note that they offered “free breakfast” because we were there to celebrate a birthday. At the end of the trip I was struggling to find the people that said things would be free or the person that checked me in so we just ended up paying way to much for things we were told there would be no charge. I know it a good time in there and things are loud and busy but it’s their job to make note of things they are discussed with the customers on different shifts. Our room was not cleaned, they just made the bed and left crumbs and other weird stuff in it in the bed. Unfortunately this will be my last stay at Moxy which is a real shame because I have so many Marriott points 😩
