Man findet sehr leicht, wohin man muss.

Huge hotel. Good staff. Only one restaurant was open during the whole week. (However, the one that was open (Portofino) was pretty good with very good staff). It just would have been good to have more choice because there are no good places to eat in the area. Breakfast was very good. Air conditioning didn't work. TV in the room was prehistoric! Building work started at 7am and was very noisy. Water was turned off without warning when I was in the shower! To be fair, at checkout I was given a reasonable refund by way of compensation. I really feel the owners are hiding behind excellent staff and need to do more to pick this place up.

Staff at the reception are not very nice. No plug next to the bed and they couldn’t provide an extension cord in the evening because it is ‘a special request’ and they didn’t have technical support at that time. They should be aware how inconvenient it is not to have a plug so they should include extensions without the guests having to tell them.

Artistic hotel, a lot of art inside, super big hall and super nice service, room was big and comfortable, Parking available for extra charge od 22€ per day. Breakfast are good but monotonous. I believe there are mostly guests who stay 1-2 days, we were 4 so menu change would be nice. There are restaurants in a hotel itself, we tried Italian one and minestrone was delicious - son loved it. Neighbourhood does not look super safe, but there is a s-bahn station nearby, which is a plus

from an excellent hotel unacceptable behavior this morning 20/02 from the hotel reception! on Tuesday 15/02 I checked in and they kept my money until Sunday and this morning when I went to chenk out they asked me for the cash money because he says they kept it only as a guarantee! I have stayed 3 times and I had no problem! it is a shame for such a hotel to have such staff! everything else was perfect!

Super clean and modern room. The bathroom was great. The lobby is bright and big and a bar is under a glass roof quite next to it. Can recommend this hotel if you are okay that it is quite off the city center. Though, the S Bahn Station is close to it.

Hotel is ok but lacks anything to make it special. Functional but a bit spartan. Maybe more a German style.but found the room dated Was very wierd to have two singles pushed together to make a double but not dressed that way and two small duvets....Hotel clean, included breakfast was limited and exactly the same each morning. Nothing much in the area but close to a train station and about 40 minutes to get into the center of downtown.

Solid hotel, pretty liminal inside, feels somewhat dated and breakfast buffet costs 25 euro when it's not included in the room. Clean rooms, everything is there. Room cleaning must've knocked on our door 5 times in one morning because we didn't put out the do not disturb sign. I suppose that means they take cleaning very seriously.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean, the food was good and the space was good. I loved the art works. I wasn’t impressed at the lack of any complimentary drinks in the room, no tea, no coffee, not even water. There was water in the mini bar, but this was charged and it was cheaper to go down to the bar. The hotel was very busy, so no room service available on the day I requested it. But the gym was quiet that night. A reasonable selection of cardio machines, equipment for stretching and one all together piece of equipment for weights. I didn’t try the spa. I did go for a walk, it takes about 40 mins to walk to the river Spree but it’s not a great area to walk through. The s bahn is close - 5 mins walk but the u bahn is 20 mins walk in Neukoln. There were always taxis outside the hotel though. The area just in front of the hotel is nice, and I think the area will improve as it’s developed.

Attended Automotive Mastermind event hosted at this venue. Facility was well kept, spacious and the service was excellent. Parking remained a problem as we had to park our car some 250m away as underground parking was quickly filled up.

I attended a wine tasting held in one of the spacious halls of the hotel. The lobby is atmospheric and very calm. I don't know anything about the service and evaluation of the hotel itself, but the prices seem comfortable.

Schnelle An-/Abmeldung. Einige Besucher klagten über kalte Zimmer/Bäder.

Hotel is nice, the breakfast is great, but the location is quite far from anything. It takes 40 minutes by s.bahn train to center, or 25min by Uber... Walking distance is only possible for restaurants and grocery shops.

I'm staying here for a few nights. The beds are super uncomfortable and the front desk doesn't answer the phone. However, the hotel itself is really nice and bustling! I'm not sure if they do room service since there's no menu in the room.

The location is basically 30 minutes away from the major tourist-spots. The room was clean and had everything one needs. Just a loud, squeaky door outside of the room was giving us a hard time to fall asleep.

Interesting museum. It tells the history of German cinema and has several cultural references. I liked the panels that show the most acclaimed films of each year. The sections dedicated to Marlene Dietrich and the film Metropolis are incredible.

Business trip to Berlin in April'23. Giant hotel but specious with a lot of meeting-rooms and accommodations. Rooms are modern and specious. Tip: take room high enough or on the outside of the hotel, not to have the noise of the central open space.

Make sure to use HᴏtelDully.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure! Location is perfect for attending a conference there. Otherwise it is very far removed from the city. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurants was surprisingly good.

Great hotel room, really clean and spacieous. I liked the bathroom. The stuff was friendly and helpful. Very tasty breakfest although it cost me 25€ per person. The location is not so good for tourism, but great for attending the events in the whole Estrel complex. I attended Elvis Das Musical and really recommend it, great show!

Stayed a week during a conference at the Estrel. Great hotel for a conference as they are 100% setup for conferences. My family came with me and had a blast touring around Berlin. The hotel conference facilities are wonderful and the food and snacks were delicious. Be prepared to walk as the place is huge Being close to the s-bahn station allowed my family to easily access the Berlin mass transit and go anywhere with little trouble. Definitely will be back for another conference

I was in the part that was not renovated. Therefore, my room felt a bit aged. Everything was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and forthcoming. The food was also very good.

Ended up in this hotel after a cancelled easyJet flight. The staff on reception were incredibly efficient in getting all the tired and disgruntled passengers to their rooms quickly. Rooms are decent enough. Has quite a corporate feel to it. Comfortable enough to sleep for a night. Breakfast was great. Lots of options and all cooked well. I didn’t have any toothpaste with me as I had thrown it prior to the flight. The hotel had little dental kits which they happily provided from reception. All in all it’s a decent hotel and I’m thankful they were able to accommodate a plane full of angry & tired people.

Many of the outlets in our room weren’t working, and the radio in the bathroom kept turning on. Otherwise, wonderful experience! Absolutely recommend!

Very clean hotel. Excellent customer service. All employees very very helpful. Food and drinks a tad expensive but not unreasonable for a nice hotel. Very nice riverfront eatery for relaxing. Less than 2 blocks to the nearest train station. Area is a little sketchy but I never really felt unsafe.

My mom and I had a great stay at Estrel. The hotel is very modern and nice. Breakfast is delicious and worth including. The area by the water is cool, we enjoyed chilling there at the sunset. Another thing worth visiting is the life performances which happen just at the hotel, we went to the Elvis Presley one and had a fun time :)

NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL the worst place in my life, one member of the staff was worst than the oter amazing i had to sleep in the street(central station) and left that damn county next day!! The best thing to do in Germany now, is to leave!!!!!!!!!

Nice hotel, really big. The rooms are very spacious, also they are quit enough. If you are looking for a sweet homey hotel, this is not for you. But if you need a care free experience this is what you need. No fuss. A big good working hotel 'machine'. Only had the breakfast, this was good and a wide selection of food. The bar wasn't cozy but the beers available were good. Would stay again.

Stayed for a business summit. The rooms have no facilities like even coffee. Decently sized and comfortable otherwise. Good wifi though it does not work in restaurant areas. Food is good in general though may not be outstanding. Wife spread breakfast with live counters for eggs. It is meant for business stays and events. This way can be rated the highest.

The biggest hotel in Germany I was told. Nice and modern rooms. restaurants serve good food. I’ve had the feeling I was living in a small village as it can get crowded there

Estrel Hotel, clean spacious and relatively conformable suits... shower water only lukewarm. Generally professional service but, only a few hotel staff managed to be friendly and smile awhile . . . .

Very nice and big hotel. Big and clean rooms, big parking area, fantastic place for breakfast and there is a fitness room. I enjoyed the stay.

The hotel is very nice and large. The lobby, corridors, and the rooms are very clean and beautiful. If you are lucky, you can see the old part of city from your window, though it is very far. I could also see the nice cafe in front of the hotel and the small canal from above which was very nice, especially at night. The only problem was that on Sunday afternoon a very noisy team of cleaners started working in the neighboring rooms and they working very loudly. They literally ruined my afternoon. However, after calling the receptionist and complaining about that, they didn't make any more noise.

Plus points: the service was outstanding and very polished (in an American kind of way), but the rooms were very generic-looking & totally devoid of character. The fact that they don't even provide free bottles of water (€5 per bottle!!) is pretty scandalous. The walls were also paper thin - my bed was at the back of the room, yet I could hear the person in the next room snoring! The Buffet Breakfast was nice but nothing special. I suppose it's the nature of being a huge hotel and catering for massive delegations.

  • 2/5 Jules 1 year ago on Google
Hotel itself was really nice, BUT I booked two nights including a 3 course dinner. Unfortunately we weren’t able to make the dinner during our stay, but since I’m living in Berlin we asked if we could extend the validity and come another time. They simply said not possible without giving any other option… money wasted and won’t go back again sadly

  • 5/5 Emily L. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice experience. The gym was great, the beds were super comfortable. The buying has everything you could need. The room was a little outdated and the bathroom needed to have some small touch ups but over all a very nice stay.

It’s a decent business hotel , near train station and friendly staff. The rooms are very basic and bed is ok. However, my bedsheet was not clean even though I checked in late at night. That is unacceptable coz cleanliness is the most important value a hotel can offer.

  • 4/5 Damir P. 1 year ago on Google
It is a huge hotel, I would say on the outskirts of Berlin, but none the less within walking distance of bars and restaurants across the canal that is in front of the hotel. Even though it is not exactly near the centre, parking is expensive at 24 eur/day, considering it is on a gravel surface and not in the garage below. Also, breakfast is not included in basic price of the room, and it would have cost 25 EUR. This might be a good idea, since there are some 1125 rooms for up to 2000 guests. I imagine the breakfast experience would hardly be good if everyone rushed for the breakfast. Rooms are spacious, reception area is also very spacious, but there is a constant feeling of under accomplishment, like something is missing. The inside is large enough for huge trees to be placed, and maybe that would uplift the atmosphere. Also, maybe one or two semi-fast food places (Chinese and kebab/burger) with street food prices would provide some quality content to that huge space inside. Not everyone has money or time to eat in one of their restaurants, for which by the way, some daily menu offerings and leaflets should be displayed at the entrance or next to the reception. Finaly, this brings us to exhibition area and to the auditorium. It would be good idea to create mini caffe shops so people could sit and have a coffee, juice, or tea just to get a break, or to have a chat...it is really not that quick walk from that part of the hotel to large hall with caffe next to reception. And it doesn't have to be all about profit, you could place automatic machines and 5-6 tables, depending on event and expected number of attendees. This is the reason I am saying there is so much room for improvement. What's missing is also a direct shuttle to city centre, and/or to Berlin Brandenburg airport, for a hotel of this size, with free rides or at best for a few euros per ride.
