Sehr gemütlich und sehr gute Atmosphäre. Guter und freundlicher Service. Bei Live Musik voll. Leider wartet man dann entsprechend lange auf das Essen. Wir gestern beim Blues Konzert fast 2 Stunden. Eventuell an Abenden mit Live Musik eine kleinere Karte anbieten. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wonderful old jazz bar where you can enjoy a locally brewed beer and live music in a buzzing and often busy spot. The decor is eclectic and really makes the place that bit more special. I suggest to reserve the table before the place busy during weekends.

Urige Berliner Kneipe gepaart mit Jazz-Live-Musik. Dazu nette lockere Bedienungen die auf Zack sind trotz vollem Haus. Bestellungen werden schnell und korrekt gebracht. Getränke Preise sind völlig im Rahmen und die Gerichte die wir ausprobiert haben waren lecker!

A jewel of a place with an old world charm. Lots of live music. This would be a 5+ star place, if the service attitude of ( especially the male) wait staff would not be so rough around the edges. ZERO charm and grace. But besides that distraction this is one of my fav places. There is indoor and outdoor seating. When we here is live music, the band comes around 3 times to collect tips. We tipped at the first go around but that did not matter, the lady demanded more - so I suggest you don’t tip 20 bucks at the beginning but split it into 3 installments.

Very poor ventilation on summer days and you can't open the windows, just sit together in a packed room in sweltering heat. The place is quite small, gets packed every night and I understand the service staff have their hands full, but one of them was quite rude and this was very off putting. The waitress for our table was very empathetic and delightful to interact with, but the one who was seating us when the bar was completely empty at 6 pm would barely listen to our requests before saying 'No'. The food sometimes nails it and the last time I really enjoyed it. This time it was quite average and not worth what you pay for it

Great place, filled with laid-back vibes, positive people, and live music. Friendly and prompt service, nice young jazz performers, reasonable prices - perfect recipe for a quality night out.

Old school music bar with a decent drink menu (more than a few whiskeys). Service was good. Smoking is allowed but didn't feel/smell like a smoker bar. Definitely worth a visit (overall a pretty good vibe). I'll visit again, try some of the food, and maybe I'll up to 5 stars.

The location is great, live music was amazing, the vibe is very lively and fun. But Cocktails were NOT tasty. Not even a basic mojito was properly prepared. Plus the staff is rude, pushing people around and screaming at them. Literally screaming and pushing. Of course it is difficult to be a waiter/waitress in a crowded place, but it is not an option to push your customers around and be in a terrible mood all night!

Mal wieder zu einem Blues-Konzert mit Jam-Session ins Yorckschlösschen. Nach vorheriger Reservierung angenehme Begrüßung durch eine herzlich-freundliche Empfangsdame, die den ganzen Abend über als quirliger ansprechbarer Geist, auch beim Servieren und Bedienen, wirkte. Es gibt sie noch, die nostalgisch-gemütliche Kneipe! Sagte ich gemütlich? Auha - da geht das Leben ab! Viel lebendige Patina: Die Location wird ganz offensichtlich heftig frequentiert, ist rappelvoll; das Interieur wird seit Jahren gefordert, was den Laden umso charmanter macht: da ist nichts mit schicki-micki-neumodischem Interieur, das Mobiliar ist kneipenmäßig. Vor dem um 20:00 Uhr beginnenden Konzert noch gegessen: Über das angebotene Essen muss eigentlich nichts mehr geschrieben werden: Bodenständig und Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Die Preise halten sich nach wie vor im Rahmen, sind eher günstig. Dann pünktlich Konzertbeginn. Die Musiker spielen nicht versteckt in einer Ecke, sondern gut sicht- und vor allem hörbar auf der Längsseite des Hauptraumes. Jam-Session war angesagt. Eine quirlige junge Frau, die sich mit an unseren Tisch gesellt hatte, meinte irgendwann, jetzt sei sie dran, ging auf die Bühne und legte einen furiosen Gesangsauftritt hin. Unglaublich! Und ein anderer junger Mann, der etwas später gekommen war und irgendwie immer im Weg stand, entpuppte sich als kraftvoller dynamischer Sänger - als sei man in der Sendung Deutschland sucht den Superstar. Entertainment pur. Riesenfreude über das Bedienungsteam, das offensichtlich reibungslos zusammenarbeitet und sich auch durch die Enge nicht die gute Laune verderben lässt. Rundum ein gelungener Abend. Empfehlenswert!

Definitely worth a return trip found about this place too late and didn't have the chance to catch the band. However the place offered some real charm and was easily accessible. The bar/chair situation is a little awkward and I am not quite sure what is happening with that but I would put it on your jazz club swing by list.

Yorckschlösschen was brilliant. Although we came here on a night their beer garden was closed and there was no live music, the atmosphere and charm of the place was well worth it. Staff were friendly and attentive. Beer was reasonably priced.

Wir besuchten das Yorckschlösschen am Donnerstagabend 8.2.24 und am Freitagabend 9.2.24. An beiden Abenden gab es Livemusik. Am Freitag war es natürlich wegen dem Wochenende voller. Ich empfehle dringend vorher zu reservieren. Und zwar rechtzeitig. Das kann bedeuten, wenn man vor der Bühne einen Platz haben möchte schon mehrere Wochen vorher! Das Lokal öffnet um 18 Uhr. Wenn man zu dieser Zeit Essen bestellt, geht es sehr schnell. Das Essen ist übrigens sehr empfehlenswert. Ich hatte den korsischen Schafskäse mit Salat. Auch das dunkle Kreuzberger Bier ist sehr empfehlenswert.

So nice music and decoration, the only issue is it is full so not easy to find a table, but they welcome you even though you do not have reservation, so kind! We will book a table too as food looks delicious. Kind staff, I loved them.

Ein KLEINOD, mit dem Geist von Love &Happiness, muss man sehen und erleben. War beim Live Konzert Samstag, buntgemischtes Publikum von jung bis älter, Service cool & witzig, Speisekarte üppig, Essen war gut, alle schienen begeistert, fröhlich wurde getanzt. Es war eng. Positive Menschen getroffen. Unbedingt empfehlenswert. Uriges Ambiente, unendlich viele Bilder von Jazz- und Bluesgrößen, da die "Bühne" gleich am Eingang liegt ist ein Kommen und Gehen mE etwas störend, Aber wichtiger ist, dass das Yorkschlössen erhalten bleibt als seltenes Stück Kultur und ein Laden für Jazz & Blues Livemusik, Kieztreff und Touristenattraktion. Super nice place with live music. It’s usually crowded, better to make a reservation. Once it’s busy service time increases. First room is better for the live music, if you are in the second room you don’t see the band and barely hear, which is alright if you like to have a conversation rather.

I suggest to reserve a table if you really want to sit indoor and watch the live performance. I had to sit outside and can’t really enjoy the music, but if you go with friends and just wanna drink and hang out, it won’t be a problem. Service staff were fast and attentive even though it’s full

The music is always different, but it never disappoints. Some bands are more classy, some more modern. During jam sessions one might discover gems, the chances are rather high. At the first glance there is not much space inside, but actually it is a TARDIS...it's bigger in the inside:). Mostly because random people get seated at one table. Which means you might even make new friends. The crowd is cheerful and supportive of the artists. So, going there is a recipe for a great evening. The food however is not their strength if you are vegetarian or if you like modern cuisine. Same with drinks. Don't expect wonders in that regard, but do come for the atmosphere and the music.

Small and friendly place for a jazz night. Dinner was also quite tasty. Your should definitely give a shot to steak. Also they had good wine opportunities. Only problem is service is slow and the place was really congested and crowded. Without reservation it’s impossible to find a table. Staff was friendly and they can speak English good enough. Recommend this place for a night out with friends.

Stopped by after coming home from a concert and stumbled right into a jazz jam. Great rooms and atmosphere. The waiter was nice and even though the kitchen already closed, made us a plate of food and mixed up one of my favourite drinks. 10/10

Tolles Ambiente, super Service und echt lecker es Essen. (Schweinefilet mit Pfeffersauce und Spätzle)Von Berliner Hausmannskost bis Bürger, Salat und Scambis uvm. Es kommt jeder auf seinen Geschmack. Live Musik ab 20, knallevoll, Reservierung wichtig! Entspannte Atmosphäre mit einem zauberhaften zeitgeschlichtlichem Flair. Plätze vor der Band gute Akustik, hinterer Bereich grauenhafte Akustik. Die Boxen sind durch, Nebengeräusche(klatschen,...) beschallen ebenfalls den Raum.

Okay, chill place. Nice environment. Quality price okay for being german cuisine. Thr flammküchen was a bit salty.

We had a perfect evening! with authentic tasty food, very good price quality, hard working staff enjoying their work and such good musicians having so much fun. Will definitely ome back next time!

Very cool place with old but in a good way vibes. Jazz live music concerts every evenings. I was on a good concert with older guys playing but they did it more than great. Prices for the drinks okay. One star minus cause I've ordered a kakao and it was cold!! Very sweet, that's good but unfortunetaly cold. If not this fantastic music and vibes then this kakao would be a no go. So place for sure worth to come but just don't drink a kakao 😂

Super quirky jazz bar with a great beer garden at the back and a few tables outside at the front. A very reasonable Germanic food menu. A good local beer selection.

It’s a jazz/blues bar with a good atmosphere. I could enjoy good time with nice people. Also, there was no smoking people inside👍. However, it’s very difficult to get a seat for the stage since the place is really tiny. Even though you are standing, sometimes it’s even difficult to find a space to stand. Drink was relatively more expensive than normal bars.

Adorable little Bar with live Jazz Music events. They also serve full meals but I didn't have any food. Don't expect to be served immediately, and when you order food it depends on how full it is as the kitchen is quite small. A very comfortable atmosphere, I spent a pleasant evening here. Important! If you come for the music, make sure to make a reservation a few days in advance, otherwise you will be sitting in the second room. There is a screen showing the stage and a speaker, but the quality is not very high so it's not as enjoyable as being in the first room.

Amazing atmosphere (interior), music (that's why you visit this!) and good food! Sadly tipping doesn't directly goes to the band because then I would have tipped more! 🙏

The place is nice and the beer is good. I don't suggest to anyone to order food here. I suggest to stop offering food because clearly they are not able to face the amount of people. We waited 2 hours for 3 meals. The waiter already told us the wait would be long but 2 hours are totally uneccetable.

“Beers” we absolutely did not order were charged and added to our bill because we did not speak German. I tend to be a very trusting person but now realize I should’ve checked the bill better. Such a disappointment to have such shady business practice to take advantage of tourists that don’t speak the language

Got the potatoes and schnitzel, potatoes all garlic and oily and herby, really delicious,comfort food with a guiness type beer. like a good pub with home cooked food. and kind staff.
