This little restaurant is more than worth a visit. We felt totally at home here and ate our way through the menu. The steamed dumplings are all lovingly decorated and all taste very good. Took 40 min ride to reach Happies and I was not disappointed. The concept is cool the food is tasty and the owners/staff are super friendly. I tried the Sofia and barbel for the savory happies. And Emil for dessert. My favorite from all 3 was barbel. The taste was so good and well balanced. All 3 were light and I guess 2 savories and 1 dessert are enough for one person.

I loved it! You can feel that the food is made with love by the owner and that makes this place special. Highly recommended if you are looking for something different but insanely tasty!

I've been wanting to try häppies since moving to Berlin a year ago and finally got to it today. I hated that waited so long to try this (blaming Covid!) But I am so happy I did because they served the best stuffed dumplings I've ever had in my lift. With enough flavour, a fresh salad to balance, it is the perfect snack or light meal. I cannot wait to come again!

Traditionally these Austrian/Bavarian delicacies are filled with spiced plums, covered with poppy seeds and sugar, and swimming in melted butter. Happies does serve this traditional version (I think they called it the "Nettie") and you should definitely try it for desert; however, the creator of happies took this German dumpling and filled it with delicacies from around the world. There is one filled with kimchi, another filled with beans in a curry, one with gorgonzola, nuts, and honey, and many more. Shockingly, many of these delicious fluffy buns are vegan and as a lover of butter and meats I was not missing them. Come to Happies on any trip to Berlin for a unique treat in a lovely neighborhood.
