Super nice place with super food and amazing staff. The only problem is the drunk owner that disrespects his clients by using foul language. A good place to try? For sure. Will you be treated this way in any other Michelin? I doubt it. The owner Max Strohe came out after the service drunk with his beer in hand asking clients for a cigarette which is understandable after his service. But then to start disrespecting us after we paid a fortune is wrong. His staff were looking at him with disappointment. I ask him personally to make things right towards us.

I would have appreciated if the very nice and welcoming waitress would have told me that a glass of champagne was 23€, it’s was great and very tasteful, I also know that I should have asked for the price. So what I’m trying to say here it’s just a minor thing that could have been cleared out to avoid discomfort when the bill arrived. Anyways the food the attention and the deco is really nice. We had the tasting and some good wine and a great evening. We’ll be back!

An absolutely mind-blowing experience! My wife and I had a wonderful night at this restaurant for our last night in Berlin. We thought they deserved another star. The staffs are super nice and knowledgeable about everything they are doing. I especially love their wine pairing that the wine they choose is a such a rare find. I hope they would provide the list somewhere maybe online so I can buy them! Thanks again for a wonderful night!!

Outstanding ! tasting menu, each and every single course was amazingly delicious. I had the chance to taste the vegetarian menu( bites from my wife’s ) as well as my own omnivore one. The recommended German wine by the sommelier was also excellent. Also the service was excellent. So to me this is an exceptional cuisine that is worth a special journey.

My partner, mother in law and I enjoyed a stunning meal at Tulus Lotrek. Even before arriving, they were super responsive by phone and email, and that was a perfect demonstration of what was to come. On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. The menu was explained and questions we had were confidently answered. We then embarked on a delightful, fantastic and utterly delicious culinary adventure. We had some very interesting dishes, all super well executed and stunning to look at. Creative and innovative things coming out of the kitchen, leaving you excited for the next dish to come. The restaurant team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, warm, accommodating and super knowledgeable. We don’t have many splurge meals a year, but we all came away from TL feeling very happy. The alcohol free drinks paring was super complex and all produced in house! Highly recommend, go and enjoy every bite and drop. Sorry was enjoying the food too much to take pics!

My husband and I went there for our wedding dinner just the two of us and our little dog. This is one of the best Michelin restaurants we have been. We felt in love with the place. The little attention details, the service, the atmosphere, the food, the drinks (wine and champagne) everything was absolutely stunning. We both took the meat and fish menu but there is also a vegetarian option. One can sit inside or outside on the beautiful terrace. Highly recommending and definitely coming back.

I am like most people when I see small dishes for "greater-than-average" prices. Is it really worth it? The answer is yes. All kinds of yes. I've never had service or food on this level before. The waitress stroke the perfect balance of entertainment, service and letting us enjoy ourselves. The tasting menu is a journey curated by the Chef and lead by the staff. Each piece of food, adding to the mosaic of flavors and textures that is your dinner. Is there a 6th star that I can give?

Wir wurden aufgrund des (sehr guten) Podcast (Röststoff) von Ilona Scholl und Peter Smits auf das tulus lotrek aufmerksam. Wir kamen mit hohen Erwartungen und selbst die wurden noch übertroffen! Das Essen war wirklich fantastisch und jeder Gang sowie der dazugehörige Wein waren ein Erlebnis. Das junge Team im Service ist wirklich mit vollem Herzen dabei, war immer für einen kleinen Spaß zu haben und hat uns jedesmal ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert. Am Ende haben wir noch einmal ein super nettes Gespräch mit Ilona führen können, die sich extra im stressigen Abschlussgeschäft die Zeit für uns genommen hat und sich kurz zu uns setzte. Wir können das tulus lotrek wirklich jedem Empfehlen und das insbesondere auch denen, die im Fine dining möglicherweise noch nicht so viel Erfahrung haben. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Berlin Besuch auf alle Fälle wiederkommen! Vielen Dank, für den schönen Abend!

This is one of the best tasting menu experiences I've ever had. The food was extremely flavourful, the pricing was better than expected with the drink pairing and I'd highly recommend this if you're able to afford this meal and enjoy the pomp and circumstance. One special call out, the entire staff were incredibly friendly, approachable and made the entire experience amazing.

Overall very good experience with a very friendly and competent staff. Some real highlights in the menu like these little tartelettes... 2 remarks though. 2 plate out of 8 were a little bit underneath the rest in term of taste & creativity. Lobster with too much dill. And an apricot / thymian dessert a little but too classical in my taste. The room was also quite noisy so difficult to have a talk in a table of 4. Thanks for the very good moment.

This place is beyond words. The service was amazing and they knew almost everything about the food they served, the different wine they recommended and served with the food. We spent really 3 hours enjoying the food. It was the best place so far we have ever been. Would love to visit it again soon 😃

Super leckeres Essen, mit einem Menu welches seines gleichen sucht. Die Weinpaarung sind unglaublich, aber auch die nicht alkoholischen Getränke wie der Wasserkefir. Der Service war auch unglaublich sowie das gesamte Ambiente. Highlight sind außerdem die Saucen.

My partner and I went there for dinner on a friday night. The service was perfect and they even had the detail to bring a little cake with a candle at the end, as we told them that we were celebrating a work promotion. The dishes were delicious with high quality products. There are two menus options, one omnivore and one vegetarian. I woudl have love to have a bit of storytelling on the logic behing each menu. The only negative side is that the price of the vegetarian menu is the same as the omnivore even if it doesn’t include as many expensive ingredients such as seafood, caviar or meat. I also missed to have some bread on a side, but the menu includes 8 courses which is perfectly enough. It as a very nice experience where you can take your time (we were there for 4 hours), tasting food, wines and cocktails. Enjoy!

Was Ilona, Max, Felix und das ganz Tulus Team leisten ist einfach nur gigantisch. In jedem Gang schmeckt man die Liebe und Leidenschaft raus da jeder Gang einfach nur perfekt abgeschmeckt war. Es stimmt einfach alles im Tulus.Der Service war auch super super lieb und sehr kompetent. Die Weinbegleitung die Felix zusammengestellt hat ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen und passt perfekt zu den Gerichten. Wenn das Lokal nicht so weit entfernt von mir wäre würde ich jeden Monat hingehen 😭

The rumors were true! This was indeed an exceptional foodie experience. For those who enjoy exploring the mastery of taste layering and pure cooking talent - this restaurant is a must. The atmosphere is super relaxed, almost casual, and the culinary experience is... from another universe, really. I warmly recommend taking the wine matching option - it blew our minds almost as much as the food. And the service? Wow. Thanks guys for your patience, vast knowledge, and warm hospitality - you made this unique evening feel like home, with a twist :) For those who hesitate about the price... well... last year I went skydiving for the first time in my life. It was more expensive, and a totally comparable experience. I'll leave you with that.

A very enjoyable meal. Had some memorably tasty dishes, some with a lovely hit of heat - and some really noise inducing sauces. Overall, I felt I’ve had better value at comparable restaurants, the wine pairing especially was well thought through but could have been better value.

Wir hatten Mitte Januar einen sehr schönen Samstagabend bei euch - das Essen war wie erwartet hervorragend, aber vor allem möchte ich den Service herausheben, der gerade im Vergleich zu anderen Adressen deutlich heraussticht. Es wird alles dafür getan eine wirklich gemütliche und entspannte Atmosphäre zu kreieren und das klappt auch. Dabei ist es nicht gezwungen, sondern noch sehr authentisch. Zudem ist es wirklich beeindruckend wie viel Leidenschaft das Servicepersonal für ihren Beruf aufbringt, hier hat man zu keiner Zeit das Gefühl es würde nicht für das „gebrannt“ was man tut - insbesondere und in besonderem Maße nochmal in Bezug auf die Getränkeberatung.

Ich träume immer noch von diesem unfassbar tollen Ort und Essen. Es ist jetzt schon ein paar wenige Wochen her, dass ich mit meinem Mann hier war und dieses Erlebnis erfahren durfte. Ich habe noch nie so gut gegessen wie im Tulus. Es hat so viel Spaß gemacht. Der Service war auch wirklich mit Abstand der beste, den ich je erlebt habe. Vom Anfang bis Ende wurde man so gut umsorgt, hat sich wohl gefühlt und das Wasserglas war immer voll gefüllt. Das Essen war wirklich von Gang zu Gang einmalig, toll und eine unfassbare Geschmacksexplosion. Es hat uns insgesamt sehr, sehr gut gefallen und wir planen ganz bald schon unseren nächsten Besuch. Danke für dieses tolle Erlebnis.

This is a Michelin-starred restaurant that I had the pleasure of dining at recently. I was very impressed by the cuisine, which was both refined and inventive. The dishes were perfectly executed and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The wine selection was also excellent. The sommelier gave me valuable advice on how to pair my wines with my dishes. The service was impeccable, with attentive and professional staff. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of fine dining. It is an unforgettable experience.

I put myself on a waiting list with quite a short notice. To be honest I had not much hope, but... there was suddenly a free slot! Interesting flavours, friendly stuff, cozy atmosphere. We had a menu along with the wine pairing and it lasted quite a while. So, get ready to dedicate your whole evening to a gastro-journey and enjoy. We did a lot. Thanks, guys!

It was my first time at TULUS Lotrek and a great place for a real Michelin experience. To be frank this restaurant is on its way to 2 stars. All dishes were absolutely great and by some aspects it reminds me the kitchen of Christoph Kunz (former cook Alois in Munich). Wine pairing was also great. Most important the crew friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere very relax. I'll be back there next time I am in Berlin.

*Vegetarian Review* High level cooking. Innovative food, without being overly complicated. Not everything on the menu was a success, but overall a very nice dinner. Nice progression of courses, and a couple of standout dishes that were very memorable. Expensive, but if you don’t mind the price tag would highly recommend it.

The food and staff are first rate. I always expect top notch service as these kind of restaurants and our server nailed it. It was a nice way to end our trip in Berlin.

Fühlen Sie sich wie in den eigenen vier Wänden!" "Das reichen von Besteck missfällt uns zu diesen Gericht! Es ist doch Döner.!? - klassisch Berlin!" Selbstverständlichkeit und legere Umgangsform mit der nötigen Distanz zum Gast. Man fühlt sich eingeladen Teil der Tulus Lotrek - Familie zu sein, nicht auf die schroffe Art der autoritativen und prüden Tanten, eher der des koketten Onkels mit einem Hang zur Selbstverwirklichung und zum Freigeistigem. Fazit: GEFÄLLT UNS - Berliner Schnauze mit Charme und Stil! Eindeutig eine Empfehlung, wir kommen wieder!
