I have been quite for some time targeting Lucky Leek, as a new vegetarian culinary experience to add up to my food diary. Starting with the place, simple but welcoming and in theme with the food. As a person that has a more specific diet, I've went for a gluten free option for the 6 course menu and did not regret it. From the first dish until the last, it was a continuity of harmonious flow of taste which complemented one another as a hand in hand bond. The ingredients have been fresh and selected with care in such way that one could tell which vegetable is which, together with an Asian twist that added a final touch to the dishes. The service incredible, very attentive at each need of the guest, with a positive attitude and a smile on at all times. Had the pleasure to see our host, Josita Hartanto, whom seemed friendly and super welcoming. I'm recommending with hand on heart, Lucky Leek, from the taste of the dishes to the altogether experience one can have!

Food was good, but probably not worth the price considering the ingredients, and the taste. But to be fair, I should compliment the Chef for the smoked carrot. It was different from anything vegan I had had before, and was an interesting experience! Ambience was also good but again probably not worth the price. I remember having been much more impressed at other places with similar or even lower price range and michelin guide ratings. However the most disappointing part was the service. Although it was not very overt or obvious, I and my wife felt like they were ignoring us and not showing us the same politeness or enthusiasm as the other tables around us. The neighbouring tables were also catered to quicker than us even though they arrived a little later than us. I am not sure whether it was because of our skin colour or because there was another genuine reason. Overall, we came out agitated and disappointed considering how excited we were to try the place.

Amazing high quality food, changing menu, everything is so special, you taste something you think you know, but it's made in such a way that every part has a surprising twist and a very unique preparation. The dishes are composed in a brilliant combination of flavors. Clearly every bite you have has a lot of thought and preparation behind it.

Incredible! I went here with my boyfriend in August, we treated ourselves to a fancy dinner and it was worth every penny. Some of the flavours I never would have imagined pairing together but everything tasted amazing. The staff was also really friendly. The vibe in the restaurant was lovely. Definitely recommend.

When I visit Berlin I always also visit Lucky Leek. The food including the staff is very nice and friendly. It's a little bit pricey but I think it's worth it. You get a five-course meal for 70 euro. However, this time around I noticed that we were also billed for the portion the waitress left us at the table as "something from the kitchen". We weren't told that "here is something that we are going to give you but you have to pay for". Because of this it's going to be a four star rate this time around.

To be honest - the first dish was just ok - good, but lacked the twist to make it great, but all that followed was indeed really good. The staff was really nice, we really enjoyed our evening there.

And that no animal had to suffer for this delicacy makes me happy and I recommend everyone to visit. Really good vegan restaurant. No matter if you're vegan or not, this is a place you've to try. They have a three course (36€) and five course menu (59€). We chose both of them for our date night and could experience all dishes. Our favorite was the carrot risotto but all the other dishes are tasty too. I didn't give it 5 stars, because I couldn't put it on the same level as cookies & cream.

Berlin truly offers an exceptional amount of vegan food options, but do not miss out on Lucky Leek. On a recent trip to Berlin my friend and I were lucky to get a reservation. We ordered the full 6 course tasting menu as we didn’t want to miss any of the options. Not one course disappointed. It’s hard to say what the best was but I will say the almond cheese on the cheese plate is maybe one of the best things I have ever tried.

We had a wonderful evening and experience at Lucky Leek. We choose the 3 meal course and we were amazed with each plate. From the presentation to the flavours, everything was exquisite and the staff very kindly explains each course. It's a bit on the pricey side but is totally worth it and totally recommend the experience 100%.

I'm typically okay with vegan food not like excited. So the visit there was even more memorable as the food was amazing, from mind-blowing picked and friends cauliflower to great tee and chocolate. Looking forward to go back.

Great choice for something a little fancier than the usual. We were able to mix-and-match dishes from the three- and five-course menus to each create our own menus, and got the accompanying wine pairings. The food was very good, not mind-blowing but still creative, well put together, and definitely filling! I ate a carrot so delicious I couldn't help but gush about it to others later. The wine pairings were nice, though I found the quantity a bit meagre and sometimes the waiters forgot to introduce the wines. Service was genial but a bit slow, and not as polished as you'd expect. We thankfully sat outside, because the interior decoration is really as the other reviews say.. it felt like a Pier 1 catalogue with a German-mum-does-shabby-chic touch. Negatives aside, would definitely visit again!

The restaurant is vegan and it's good to get the 3 courses (entree, main dish and dessert). The place is cozy and the staff is friendly. The entree was a very tasty soup and the dessert was amazing, the main dish was a bit spicy for my taste. It's a very good vegan restaurant, I highly recommend it.

Very good service and great good. We had the 3 course and 4 course menus and these were plenty of food for the two of us. The wine pairing was good and they have great non-alcoholic cocktails too.

The waiter (girl with glasses) obligated us to pay 10% Tip which is illegal. The service was awful, they brought the wine too late, we finished the plate before it arrived. There are much better places for the money.

Interesting and tasteful combinations. I especially liked the crunchy breaded mushroom and both starters. Portion size of three dish set will leave you satisfied, but probably a little hungry as well ;) Great for special occasions, it’s on the more expensive side.

It was okay but the food is not very modern or exciting for the general level of vegan cuisine in 2022 and in Berlin. The highlight was the cheese board for dessert. I sadly wouldn’t recommend this place but I’m glad I gave it a try.

(Translated by Google) The excellent reviews led us to Lucky Leek - where supposedly fine dining meets vegan cuisine. In terms of taste, we found the entire menu okay, but there is still room for improvement here. Each course was fine but definitely in need of improvement in one or more components, or crôutons in the first course tasted like old bread. The wine accompaniment was fine, but I would like to introduce additional and not arbitrarily selected wines. Unfortunately, the wines were mostly brought after serving the dishes and asking several times - the service was simply not brought in here. There was also a mix-up of dishes - served in the wrong order. For 2 people including a wine accompaniment we paid almost 180 € - the price-performance ratio is not correct here. As a "consolation" there was at least one espresso on the house. Based on this experience, we would not visit Lucky Leek again.

(Translated by Google) The food was delicious, but not high end, the service was only moderate if not underground. According to the law, a restaurant is obliged to list allergens on the menu. Nothing. Nice and good. My nut and sesame allergy was announced by phone, and on site it was pointed out again that I am very allergic. In the beginning it worked out quite well. I was allowed to wait a little longer for my third course than my friends because I also can't take Caskews. The waiter had asked me before the whole thing if the cashews went. Unfortunately, no. Nice and good. At dessert I found two almonds on the plate and said to the waiter: "Oh there are almonds on them, I can't eat them. But I can put them aside. (Aren't we?)". He did not then (!!!) point out that there are other almonds in the dessert. When I finally noticed that I was eating something nut-like, panic! My friend immediately brought the plate in and inquired and I swallowed my medication. What followed was a merciless insolence ... My friend was kindly advised that almonds were not nuts but kernels, so they were basically not to blame. A bottomless cheek with a 370 € bill. Nobody inquired seriously about my wellbeing, no compensation (not even a water) and the sadder they did not recognize the seriousness of the situation! It should be swept under the table. I have never seen anything like it and in this price range I cannot dream of such an insolent and irresponsible reaction. I and my entire Berlin Circle of Friends will never (again) set foot in this shop!

This is the best place I have ever eaten at! I've never tasted food like it... small delicate plates but we left feeling full and content. We had the three course meal and were completely overwhelmed with the flavours. The third course was the stand out, my partner ordered the cheese board and I the creme brulee - never in my life have I been so impressed by food! From the way the dish was displayed to the taste, everything was fantastic. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes on offer A 10/10 dining experience, I'll be recommending this place to everyone I know and will definitely be coming back if I'm ever in Berlin again.

This is a fully vegan restaurant, but don't let that fool you. The food here is truly awesome. Me and my squad had a five course dinner which was really great. I could really recommend the cheese plate dessert, so many good "cheeses"! It's a bit expensive, but welll worth it. You probably need to book a table beforehand.

My wife is vegetarian and what I have learned over the years is that the vegetarian cuisine is so much more creative and tasteful than meat based dishes, which in a way are boring and always the same. Lucky Leek is the best vegetarian restaurant I have ever eaten so far. I would dare to say that vegetables and fruit in our diet are a condition to have a wonderful, varied and amazing dinner experience. If the Lucky Leek chef cooks dinner for me at home every night, I will never have to eat meat again in my life. Michelin recommends this restaurant for a detour but I think that's undervalued: the restaurant deserves one or two stars based on the few Michelin star restaurants we have eaten so far.

(Translated by Google) the decor is nice, the staff try so nicely that it almost seems a bit stilted - as a Berliner you don't know anything like that. The plates nicely arranged, which you can also expect for the price. You get everything exactly explained on the plate from the staff (also here - it looks a bit over the top, as if you have reinvented vegetarian cuisine). the taste is pretty good, the composition as such tasty ... but: clearly too little for the price called. It is clear that this is not an XXL restaurant, but here the vegan hype is used to pull the cash out of the wealthy hipster! At the neighboring table, a guest looked at his plate, visibly irritated, and said: "Actually, I'm here for dinner and not for photography!" Who needs it ... there is more honest cuisine in the Brandenburg area. In the end, the waiting time of over 60 minutes after ordering only one main course was clearly too long. Conclusion: if Kollwitzplatz and surroundings prefer somewhere else!

I then explained to him that I ordered it from the 2. x, which I also ordered from the 1.x from her waitress! if they booked the expensive one, that's not my problem, because I tapped the one on the card and 2 people can testify! was not totally pampy at a price over 180 euros what we had to pay! is not possible. If the colleague books this wrong, as a customer I can't help it! I am not a bartender and not a waitress! if you only book the expensive drinks, that is not my problem as a customer. This is not about 14 euros more, what I should pay, but the principle! that is discussed here with me at over 180 euros as payment and I am still accused of making the mistake, I have to honestly say, very professional of the waiter! does not work at all - I have not been to a kebab stall here! too bad ..... I can not recommend it! I am certainly not petty, but that is not possible, such a dialogue, to blame me just because the waitress is too stupid to bring me what I have ordered from the beginning. Spending this discussion on eating and drinking at more than 180 euros, I can have it elsewhere for less money, but certainly not with Lucky Leek. I don't have to have it again and I don't have to put up with this unfriendliness! Well, 3 customers less ... but they probably don't need it. I am annoyed with the way the waiter paid. There is no such thing in other restaurants in Berlin, where I can mention ....... in the Profilokal of Berlin, there is no discussion if something goes wrong on the part of the restaurant. But at Lucky Leek it is the guest's fault ...! as I said, the course menu was too lengthy between courses ....... not possible. I also wanted to say, only then it was enough for me after this accusation that I was to blame for ordering the drink of 7.90 a8f 14.90 euros per drink. Very professional for such an expensive shop. But ok .... there are other vegan restaurants in Berlin that know how to do it! I do not recommend this from the service. I prefer to go somewhere else and leave there 180 euros.

(Translated by Google) Chic restaurant with high quality vegan dishes and very attentive service. Nevertheless, the occupancy of the restaurant should always be high and I had made a mistake in the reservation, I could still get it right - class. The wine accompaniment to the very tasty 3 course menu was excellent!

(Translated by Google) I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years, but have never been to a vegan restaurant. When I was looking for Bib Gourmand restaurants to visit Berlin, I came across the Lucky Leek. I had to persuade my carnivore wife first, but we were both completely thrilled with the food and the friendly service. My wife's three-course menu could easily be modified, the wine accompaniment went well with the individual courses and the food was delicious. We look forward to our next visit to Lucky Leek!

(Translated by Google) Perfect vegan cuisine. Good that we have reserved, otherwise it is difficult to get a table. Very sophisticated cuisine. But you also have to be willing to pay more than 100 euros. The palate is spoiled for this. The very attentive staff completes the evening exquisitely. 5 star deluxe!

Food is top quality, so delicious, a feast of flavours! Elegant presentation. Only thing to note, they don't check the COVID-19 vaccination pass because "they are not medically qualified". Utter nonsense! Indoor services are requested to check the vaccination status (and they all do it), it's straightforward, doesn't need medical qualification.

(Translated by Google) We went to Lucky Leek for dinner on Saturday and were surprised by an exceptional 5 course meal that we would have expected in an upscale 5 star hotel. We were given a menu with fine-tuned dishes that were delicious and delicately created. The evening we were looked after by a very friendly and competent service, so that the dinner turned into a wonderful stay with culinary delights.

Amazing food. All vegan. Great and very nice service. The best vegetarian/vegan food I’ve had in Berlin.

We went for a celebratory birthday dinner at Lucky Leek last night. I'd like to start by saying that unlike other reviewers, I didn't mind the decor at all, mossy/planty patterns and frames on the wall seemed to me to fit with the vegan slightly retro vibe, and none of it was so obtrusive as to be disturbing. The service was also completely fine and friendly, though the waiters kept addressing us in English and we kept having to ask them to switch to German (they probably thought they were being helpful as our conversation was in English, but their descriptions were much more intelligible in German). The food however was a little disappointing. Everything was good, but I hoped for better than just good. The tastes were on the whole well balanced, if a touch salty for a couple of the dishes, textures were well managed, the accompanying wines were well-matched and decent, but nothing really grabbed us in the way we've experienced in other places. We hoped for better, and for these prices I think we'll give it a miss next time and go elsewhere.

Fine vegan dining perfect for Berlin. Together with family and friends I had a wonderful evening at Lucky Leek. You can choose a 3, 4 or 5-course meal with some options on the soup or dessert. I went for 4 courses, including a tomatoes-mango soup and the "cheese" platter. The food was consistently great, staff is very kind and always open for a chat. While it's cozy and casual in terms of the dress code and crowd it is more on the pricey side, especially for the area. Overall highly recommended.

The word “delicious” doesn’t even begin to describe how amazing the vegan food is. For the price you’re in for a magical ride to flavor town.

They don't accept card payment at all, even though they wrote in the menu that card payment above 100EUR is ok. And then they took forever to ask the kitchen if the food contains alcohol. Turned out, half of the food on the menu has alcohol. We left at the end and they didn't even bother to ask.

We took the 4 course menu and we're so impressed! Every single dish is a piece of art and a delicious taste experience. The service was outstanding too, each waiter was very attentive and friendly and relaxed in a good way. Highly recommend! We'll come back!

Loved the experience! Each course looks like a picture on a plate. The taste is exquisitely engineered from different vegan ingredients. This is a great place, if you are looking for a restaurant for a special evening, in relaxing ambience and with great service. Our vaccination passes were checked at the entrance and card payment was possible.

We had the 5 course menu. The food was very delicious. The service was kind and friendly. They can also speak in English. The only criticism I would have is the decorations. It does not fit the quality of the food.
