Amazing place to try local German cuisine! Try the Schnitzel with baked potatoes and red berry marmalade and the Pork Knuckle. The first one was so nice, thin and crispy like a good Austrian beef Schnitzel! The second one was so well cooked and very soft meat. Also there was a very nice Bavarian atmosphere in this restaurant and the service was friendly. I have come to this place a couple of time but I will be back again soon!

Lovely place, family friendly with a fun playground for the little ones. We left our teddy bear here, only noticed an hour later and had to walk all the way back. Einerseits gibt es das gemütliche, obwohl geräumige Restaurant, das mit Wirtshauscharme, einem großen zentralen Rundkamin und traditioneller, aber modern interpretierter alpenländischer Küche zum Bleiben einlädt. Die Ochsenbäckchen sind wirklich ungeschlagen... Aber auch auf den Restaurantterrassen kann man bei wärmerem Wetter herrlich genießen: zum Beispiel einen guten Kaffee und den warmen Apfelstrudel oder einen erfrischenden Aperol Sprizz. Mein Favorit ist aber der Biergarten --- einer der wenigen "echten" in Berlin: mit großen Kastanienbäumen, Kiesboden, Self Service und dem Blick auf Spree und Kanzleramt. Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch! Dazu ein frisch gezapftes Augustiner (jaaa, 0,5l sind hier ein "kleines" Bier!) und den wirklich leckeren Obazda; schon ist die Welt wieder in Ordnung und der Stress der Großstadt für eine Weile ganz weit weg! =) Vor allem mit ein paar Leuten mehr würde ich im Restaurant übrigens immer telefonisch vorreservieren; doch selbst das ist bei den gut gelaunten Servicekräften ein richtiger Spaß...
