The building is located in heart of the Berlin city which is easily accessible as it very close to Berlin railway station.. It was great to visit the Reichstag building - tickets are free (but booking absolutely essential). Great place to visit if your interested in the history of Berlin. I didn't go in sadly but there's a tour you can take inside which I'd say is pretty good. It was surreal actually seeing this building in person instead of on the big screen or in a video game.

It is such as shame of the fire which we will never know who started it...plenty of security, which I can understand as it is an active Parliament building. Took a late evening tour of the Reichstag building. It required prior reservation. The visit was wonderful with audio guides and proper guidance from the staff. The exhibition itself was quite illustrative of the history of the building. It is really a pleasure to see landmarks of the Berlin from the glass dome of the Reichstag.

Absolutely fascinating building a must visit when u r in Berlin. I tried to visit during summer but unfortunately all the slots were booked so I only saw it from outside. So if u r planning to visit during summer time make sure to book your visit time in advance by 7 Weeks during the touristic peak season or 3 weeks at least during summer. I visited again in winter and was lucky to find a slot only three days in advance. The entry is free of charge however booking online and registering the guests information is a must before visit. Make sure to have your confirmation email and ID/ Passport with you. Walking in is NOT possible. You learn all the history of the building, and general information about the German political parties and history. You can pick up an audio guide also free of charge. While climbing the dome ramp you can have a good view of the city and see a lot of important spots in the city like the TV tower, the victory Column, Berlin Cathedral etc etc. It was raining and the city was very grey during my visit but still I did enjoy the view so I can only imagine it will be even better during summer. The security check was quiet fast and super friendly and helpful it only took ten minutes waiting overall going through all the lines / security check. Very well organized. The entire tour takes around an hour and by the end of the tour you can enjoy coffee / drink at the cafe at exist. The cafe has a sitting area indoors and outdoors area has an absolutely amazing view of the spree river.

Good views and plenty of history. Worth getting the audio guide, it auto starts as you get to the right place, if you go too fast it skips on. It gets hot towards the top in the summer.

one of the most satisfying experiences i had in berlin was the visiting the Reichstag. the building is grand, the glass dome is breathtaking, the crowd control is seamless. you could easily spend 2-3 hours here. the entry is free, but make sure you book your visit in advance.

Definitely worth a trip to the dome if you're able to get tickets. I submitted a request a few weeks before visiting (but never heard back), but was able to go to the physical ticketing centre across the road and get a ticket for two days later. If, like me, you're unable to get a ticket via the registration form online, I would recommend visiting the ticketing centre early in your visit, to hopefully be able to get a ticket for later. The security measures are not too tedious to go through and the views from the dome and phenomenal. The audioguide is also quite informative (especially for non-Germans) and is worth getting.

We had a reservation for 17 o clock to see the tribunals and then the dome. It took the staff almost 15 minutes to find our names at the lists and although everyone was really friendly, it felt like i went back a century when they didn’t use computers or qr codes. When we finally got inside a few minutes before 5 pm., we were told to leave our stuff at the cloak room and go through a door because our group already started earlier. We went through the corridor around the tribune, only to find out our group is not there. So we made a full circle of the building and had to come back to the exact same place we started before they let us in with our group inside the tribunal. And there I heard what was probably the most boring lecture of my entire life. The dome after the tribunal is nice. It is really futuristic and interesting. I recommend you get the free audio guide which points out buildings to look at. It gets increasingly hotter as you go up the dome.

It was nice, not really special actually. We tried to buy tickets at the booth, but after waiting in line for about 50 minutes, they told us the tickets for that day and the day after were sold out, we could only book for two days later at 19:00. Arriving two days later, we had security check after security check, line and line, waiting quite long, and in the end it turned out to only be the done at the top. The inside of the building requires different tickets that, we were told by an employee, needed a two month reservation.

Wir haben eine kostenlose Führung durch das gesamte Reichstagsgebäude gebucht und waren von der Erfahrung begeistert. Besonders beeindruckend fanden wir die bemalten Wände, die Elemente aus alter und neuer Zeit vereinen. Die Kuppel auf dem Gebäude ist ebenfalls äußerst sehenswert. Ein Besuch lohnt sich definitiv. Es gab eine hohe Präsenz von Sicherheitskräften.

War insgesamt ganz schön vor allem mit den Audioguides die es auch für Kinder gibt. Leider ist es an dem Tag sehr voll gewesen und die Aufzüge sind nicht die beste Lösung. Es gibt es auch nur 2 Toiletten was viel zu wenig ist für die Größe. Und man kann auch nicht richtig von oben in das Innere sehen. Die Plätze der Abgeordneten kann man nur erahnen. Hat trotzdem viel Spaß gemacht.

Was für ein Aufwand nur um nach oben auf die Kuppel zu kommen. Aber die Steuergelder sind ja gut investiert. Es gibt immer nur 100 Tickets pro Stunde in der Anmeldung vor Ort, also am besten 2 Wochen vorher online buchen. Super Aussicht, jetzt im Juli bei 30 Grad draußen aber eine Tortour da oben.

Das Gebäude ist wunderschön. Ich war nur sehr enttäuscht von der Glas-Kuppel. Hatten Tickets für 11:30 Uhr konnten aber schon im 11:00 Uhr herein. Sicherheitskontrolle vergleichbar wie am Flughafen (Getränke darf man aber mitnehmen, egal wie groß). Mit einem Fahrstuhl fährt man zur Kuppel und hat einen guten Blick über Berlin. Was mit nur gefehlt hat war der Blick in das Gebäude. Hierzu muss man ein separate Tour buchen. Der Eintritt ist kostenlos. Muss aber vorher (rechtzeitig) ein Zeitfenster buchen.

Das Gebäude ist sehr interessant und sehenswert, uns wurde viel erzählt und erklärt. Zum Schluss waren wir in der Reichstagskuppel. Sehr imposant und ein herrlicher Ausblick von dort über Berlin.
