Very beautiful Park along river spree. Lush green grass fountain and amazing trees. Lots of places to sit down, benches and on Bank of spree. River tour available and great in summer. Its quite big and has access to island which is just fantastic. Entrance from Treptower Park S Bahn Station provides you options to get some drinks and snacks. A place to relax with friends and family.

Berlin without the Treptower Park would not be Berlin. A muss in the summer. Very diversified designed. From the beautiful beer garden to small cozy ice cream parlors as well as Soviet Memorial over relaxing large lawn. It is one of the most beautiful places in Berlin... PS. By the way, the corn and latte tasted excellent👌!

Treptower Park, Berlin, is a serene 880,000 square meters green space along the River Spree. It's famous for the Soviet War Memorial, a monumental tribute to WWII soldiers. The park features walking paths, lush gardens, and peaceful riverbanks, offering a tranquil urban escape with a poignant historical landmark at its heart.

Amazing place in Berlin, definitely one of my favorite! Super calm, easily accessible from public transportation! There is lot of green places and trees to read a book or listen to music too. The historic value is amazing! Definitely a go to place if you are visiting the city.

This is a really wonderful vision into the communist past of Berlin. Rather than a park, it is more a Soviet war memorial. It has many pillars that are chiseled into concrete that tell the story of the fight between Soviets and Germans and how the Soviets finally came out victorious. This place is completely free to visit and is well worth checking out. I went in the evening when it was quiet on a nice warm day - probably the best time to visit

A great park for a sunny Day! A lot of places for picnics and barbecues along the river, bars, free toilet facilities, pedal boat rentals, drinks and food on sale on the riverfront. Stroll along the river for a beautiful scenery, very relaxing.

I have strange feeling in this place. It is very clean and beutiful park. But for now it is the monument of soviet-russian propaganda. And a lot of quotes from dictator J. Stalin. We can see the pictures in stone, that fascists kill civilian people and destroy cities. So everyone has to think about future.

Treptower Park is hands down my fav place 😍 in Berlin for long walks🚶‍♀️and picnic by the spree 🧺. I am so grateful that I got to spend a few summer afternoons 🌞 freely soaking up the sun without any worry about COVID restrictions 😷. Having said that the park is big enough to maintain social distance and still enjoy a long walk, run🏃‍♀️ or cycling 🚴‍♀️. Last I visit the park was in fall and you can see in my photos how beautiful it is in fall. It's a blessing to have such a place in the city when we can not travel much during the pandemic. Hope you take some time to explore the park✌️.

The vastness of this park makes it an ideal place for biking. The park is well-designed and pays tribute to the 80,000 soviet soldiers who died in the battle of Berlin. The Soviet War Memorial was built in 1949. The Berlin TV Tower can be seen from the park.

(Translated by Google) I visited this park for the first time. I know and remember the monument to the liberator soldier with a girl in her arms only from textbooks. The park is beautiful, now it is being renovated. It was very interesting to walk around and see all this with my own eyes. Probably even more beautiful here in summer. (Original) Первый раз побывала в этом парке. Знаю и помню памятник воину освободителю с девочкой на руках только из учебников. Парк красивый, сейчас его ремонтируют. Treptower park is divided into two parts: one, near water, is alive and cosy, full of activities, boats and people. Another part - typical socialistic- realism art monument for soviet soldiers. This huge statue of Russian soldier was on all postcards from Berlin in DDR time and all soviet tourists were taken here as must-see visit. For me, Lithuanian, who's native country was occupied by Soviets after 9 May 1945, this monument and bas-Reliefs represent different things and feelings, than for people who never been occupied...

Wonderful and relaxing place. Prior to entering the memorial there is a brief history of events that was helpful for me which included historical photos of the memorial during its creation and dedication. There is plenty of seating in shaded areas. Very peaceful and not crowded at all when I was visiting. I highly recommend visiting this site, then head over across the street to the rose garden, which is fantastic as well!

Memorial is dedicated to the liberation Germany from fascism. In the central part of the park is a figure of a Soviet soldier cutting a swastika with a sword and with a rescued child on his arm, which is a world-famous symbol of the contribution of the Soviet Union to the defeat of Nazi fascism. According to official data, more than 7,000 Soviet military personnel were buried on the territory of the memorial, of which 4,430 people were not identified.

The park is huge and has something for everyone... Food stands along the river, an island with a foot bridge, a biergarten, plenty of space for a picnic or playing lawn games with friends... Paths to cycle and gardens to discover, a giant memorial and for kids a huge, hidden playground.

Treptower Park is the perfect place for a day out. In 84 hectares of greenery you can stroll along the riverside path, across sunny lawns, past the rose garden and along the shady avenues of plane trees. When it was opened in 1888, Treptower Park was a novelty for the time, a public park open to all the city’s inhabitants. Gustav Meyer, a pupil of Lenné, designed the park in the English style.

The park was overcrowded for these corona-times; how hard is it for people to maintain 1.5m distancing? This is life.and death, folks... Otherwise, the park's upkeep definitely leaves something to be desired. This is one of the major green spots on the Spree, the least the borough could do is to maintain it nicely to attract people from all over the city and not just for the boat rides... Gotta do better, Treptow!

It's a magnificent place, a fitting memorial to the war dead, the ones that saved a civilisation from collapse. It's one of the most iconic monuments in a historic city like Berlin.

Super large park, the second largest in the city. Nice park for chill, recreation or fun. Nice view of the river Spree. You can also find food and coffe and icecream near by park but on Sbahn station you can buy cheap beer at spati. One thing I don't like there is a lot of garbage over the weekend but thats Berlin problem in parks I guess.

Great nature Park. Super wild lawn. There r less ppl compare to the other parks in West. Ppl chillin here on the lawn by yoga, by picnic, or by just eating pancake, drinking coffee Ain thé small food stands long the river. There r also ppl Jogging, walking their dogs. If u r intrested in the Suwjetunion history, u should come here. I saw many old russian ppl are coming here also.

Beautiful park, nice flat walk along the river, easy with pushchairs or bikes. Soviet memorial is worth visiting. The playgrounds for children are pretty nice, especially the newly refreshed one at the end of the park. You can see a lot of different birds around! As a downside, sometimes a lot of rubbish :( usually cleaned quickly but people need to be better about this.

The place Admiral Ackbar has warned us about. Nice coffee places with caramel syrup, beautiful sights and no boobytraps, they may have been dismantled already, I do not know. But it's in my experience definitely not a trap, besides the public toilets there. Would go on a date again.

This park is absolutely gorgeous! We spent there 3 days in a row each time walking for about 2 hours and we’re still not sick of it. Right by the river it’s a very grand park with a big playground as well as a bridge connecting it to a small man made island. There are several rose gardens and a fountain as well as this thingy for some pretty Instagram pictures

Nice place for a pleasant walk by the river or renting a kayak/ water bike. Well communicated, but also quite crowded. There are some small restaurants and cafes, sadly you can't pay with card in any of them. Park could have been cleaner, there was many rubbish all around the place, and full trashes. Probably the best place is the island, with a terrace to sit and some bars.

It was the location of the Great Industrial Exposition of Berlin in 1896. It is a popular place for recreation of Berliners and a tourist attraction. And its one of my favorite park in berlin

Treptower Park is located in the east of Berlin, making is the best park of that Area. It's at the river spree, making it the idle place to go for a small boot tour on the water. When it was opened in 1888, Treptower Park was a novelty for the time, a public park open to all the city’s inhabitants. Gustav Meyer, a pupil of Lenné, designed the park in the English style. It had been amazing and the weather was so pleasant, one can spend a good sunny day in the gardens and enjoy the marvelous statues. Worth a visit, if you are in Berlin in summers.
