We went to see the “Arise Show”. It was awesome. I was impressed with the stage design, the lights, the costume designs and also the performances. The show offers: flying acrobatics, show stoping dances, live singing, and much more. You’ll definitely enjoy the 1,5 hour show, including a 25 minutes for pause. Where you can enjoy a glass of champagne.

Storyline (based on my own interpretation as I do not understand German) The pratogonist is a photographer. Struggling with the loss of what to shoot, he consulted with Time to find back his inspiration. Time brought him back with his Muse, calls him to revisit his past works to induce inception. Ticket prices are way cheaper if u compare it to actual full fledge plays/musicals. I don’t usually recommend front row seats as they are exorbitantly priced and not worth the experience. This show however, I totally recommend it.

It's a nice show palace with excellent sound. No matter where you sit you always have a good view. Best thing is the stage - underneath the stage there is another floor where water is. It's very amazing. And the ballet is great. You'll have a good time.

I went to see the Vivid show. Simply amazing! The place is big. Not so big the audience part, but the entrance is spacious and has several bars with drinks and snacks. There was a break of 25 between the show for those aforementioned things. The stage is enormous. There is 3 different stages with the deepest one for the orquestra. Incredibly there is places for all kinds of pockets. We booked quite late and bought the cheapest spots, still we were able to see well the while stage with a good perspective. So in sum, you don't need to buy an expensive ticket. You can see very well with the cheapest price category and definitely is a must go in Berlin.

Unbelievable place! The theatre is massive, with supposedly the biggest stage in Europe. The building is beautiful, Art Deco interiors, several bars and cafes. We went to see Vivid The Grand Show and it was absolutely breathtaking! It's like nothing I have seen in my life, and I'm a regular in West End and Broadway. Spectacular show in a perfect location!

Ich war von der Show "Falling in Love" vollkommen begeistert. Super Tänzer und Akrobaten. Das Theater hat auch eine super Bühnentechnik oder wo hat man auf der Bühne schon Springbrunnen. Warum aber die Sprache im Gesang immer zwischen Deutsch und Englisch gewechselt hat, konnte ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Falling in Love - grandiose KünstlerInnen, unglaublich schöne Kostüme, traumhafte Bühnenkulisse - bei dieser Show vergisst man für eine Zeit alles um sich herum. Wunderschöne emotionale Geschichte die einem völlig in seinen Bann zieht. Thanks to the amphitheatric design of the theater you can enjoy every show regardless of your positioning. I watched Arise and it was an incredible performance of both artists and dancers. The stage is a highlight for itself changing during the whole performance including suddenly appearing water fountains or pyro-show. The inside of the building looks far more breathtaking than the outside.

Actually a really mesmerizing show(sadly you aren't allowed to take pictures during the show except for the closing bow), so much to take in, although sometimes the mics screeched or became too loud. I saw "Arise" which was 2 hours with a 25 min break inbetween and had pretty much had everything; acrobats, water, fire, other acrobats and a lot of dances. The theater itself is a pretty big building but the food and drinks are very expensive and there's not much seating (outside of the concert hall).

The show and the theatre are both very worth the visit with the show Falling in Love being a rolercoaster of an entertainment ride.

I saw the Vivid show last night and it was PHENOMENAL! Stunning costumes, stellar voices, ultra-talented dancers and acrobats! The stage and light show/effects surpassed any I have seen anywhere else in the world. All this and yet surprisingly affordable. I got a 4th row, side ticket for about 40 Euro.

Amazing show and suitable for the ones in Berlin who don't speak German but wants to enjoy some live entertainment. The view even from the back is good, the theatre is not too huge.

Nice screen and all but they make people queue outside in the horrible rain and kick you out as soon the film is done. Queue for the women's toilet was horrific. Nowhere to place your drinks. On the plus side, seats were comfortable.

We stumbled upon this show by chance as we were walking past when it was about to start. Didn't know what to expect and bought the cheapest tickets just to try it. We were surprised by the size of the theatre and the quality of the show, the costumes and the dance routines. A show not to be missed. Excellent in every aspect. Very comfortable seats and and the theatre is very nice. I think that even the cheap tickets have a good view of the stage.

A beautiful and "hughnormeous" theatre. This time I had the chance to see the new show: "Arise".

The most amazing stage technology I've ever seen. Every show brings something new. The dancers are always amazing, the shows are always spectacular.

We saw the Arise show with a school class, and the service was excellent. Buying the tickets was easy and the clerk was really helpful. When we came to Palast we were guided to a separate entrance and everything went smoothly. All of the staff were really helpful and kind. The show was outstanding, and our students still talk exalted about it. Amazing show and great service.

Just perfect, we were there tonight on the 1st of October 2021, very well organized, highly professional people, nothing could have been done in a better way, so grateful to be a part of such evening 💗

Went there for the Arise show. Man the show is spectacular

What a show!! A must see! Great theatre as well with a huge scene combined to the intelligent use of technology to the art services! Taking COVID 19 protection really seriously, made me appreciate it even more!!

Lovely art nouveau theatre with a grand lobby area and comfortable seating. Box office is on the right side of the building, so don't wait at the main front doors if you're picking up tickets.

Arise is a great show with a very nice mix of different dance art and showacts! It's the definition of spectacular 👌🎉💃 Some voices of the singer were only average though... The break (20min) was a bit short for my taste. You wait for your drinks and food for 10minutes and afterwards have to hurry to finish it. Not nice... Overall definitely a recommendation for having a good time and leaving with a positive feeling ☀️ Bytheway: Too less bicycle stands outdoor 🚲

Perfect setting for a superb show! One of the oldest and the largest musical scene in whole Europe! Reading its history is learning the history of Europe and that of turbulent Germany through the last +150 years. Worth the visit to get to know the building and above all its beautiful shows.

Europe's Show palace. Las Vegas is nothing compared to the excellent and high quality productions this house is bringing to us. If you want to make your Berlin visit an unforgettable journey you need to visit this house. The biggest Theater Stage is waiting for you!

Show was good, somewhat tricky to understand the storyline. Few disappointments. -the member of staff frequently shining an iPad screen in my face to remind the people behind me to stop taking photos really was annoying -could not buy an English programme as they only took cash -seating was very uncomfortable

My husband and I just saw Arise and even though we understand roughly 10 words combined in German the show was breathtaking in every aspect. The vocals, costumes (!!!!), dancing, TRAPEZE, all of it…FREAKING PHENOMENAL. We’ve seen shows in Vegas and NYC and honestly this one blew us completely out of the water. If you have the chance to see it you really absolutely should!

Building : The building itself is perfect for shows, the shape offers an excellent visibility on the stage from everywhere. I was on the last rows but i could enjoy the stage normally. Compared with most french and London theatres, seats are pretty large and comfy, have more room for the legs than what i am usually used to. Ticket collection is outdoor, you first have to queue at the box office on the right of the palast outside, then queue again to enter the theatre. Show seen “ARISE”: Had a pleasant and entertaining night, what I appreciated the most are the acrobatics, the costumes and the scenery. The acrobatics were impressive (the athletes were better than Cirque du Soleil), they managed to create a setting with water which left everybody amazed (front rows were splashed 😂). Only downside is half the dialogues are german, half english. As a foreigner, couldn’t understand half the conversations (same for germans who don’t understand english…). Why don’t they display English subtitles on the scene and leave all conversations in german (while leaving the songs 50% German/50% English though)?

We watched the Arise. Highly recommended. Place is easy to locate and great interior. Program started on time. My only issues are: 1. Seats are not slanted so I was not really able to have a good view because the person in front of me was tall and had bulky hair. 2. Chairs are super not comfortable. Cushion is lacking. Had a back pain. Otherwise amazing lights and sounds and acrobatics. Amazing

Very good Show. I was spectacle if it's kids friendly or not. But its entirely kids friendly. It's pure entertainment rather than exposed dance at other places / countries. Many type of acts, beautiful stage presence and light effects, excellent orchestra. Loved every bit of it.

Costumes, lighting effects, artists, dancers, acrobatic shows, the show was great at night. I didn't know how the time passed. Even the attendants at the door were very respectful. Thank you from the heart. I really liked the Vivid Grand Show. Be sure to buy your ticket before you come to Berlin. It's been a great show. I watched it from the 4th row 3rd seat. Although the viewing angle is a bit limited, it was more than worth the 20 Euro price I paid. A much wider viewing angle is possible from the opposite side. I recommend you to choose your seat from the 6th row or later to avoid neck pain. You can leave your coat and bag of a certain size in the cloakroom free of charge. All in all, it was an excellent visual show. Definitely recommend to go.

We went to see Arise in Spring and were hooked! Now, that we saw the amazing over-the-top new show =Falling/In Love= ..we are addicts to the Friedrichstadtpalast!! Stunning! The stage settings, the music, the outstanding performers!! First class in every way - Vegas has nothing on you!! The bubbly before, sweets during the break and getting our coats after the show - you have the most friendly, helpful, professional assistance in town!! Keep it up and we'll be back! Thank you for a wonderful, exciting evening!!

I saw the live show "Falling in Love". I couldn't stay till the end but it was so beautiful.

Seen the advertisement in the airport. Googled it. And I am glad I did. This was incredible. It had everything. A story. Ballet. Singing. Acrobatics. Water. Dancing. It's so so so good that it would do well around the world. Don't worry they do songs and speak in both German and English. It's amazing. Loved every minute of. After the show I literally said I can watch this 8 more times today.

The new "Falling | in Love" show is well done, however I personally liked ARISE a bit more

A great show at the beautiful theatre

Meine Freundin und ich waren begeistert von der traumhaften Show. Es war ein Geschenk zum Geburtstag, Zeit miteinander zu verbringen und das Thema, mit Liebe schafft man Alles, in eine wunderbare Welt einzutauchen. Die Künstler waren alle einmalig schön und haben das Thema Liebe und Zusammenhalt in einer besonderen Art und Weise gezeigt. Danke dafür! Ich habe schon als Kind den Friedrichstadtpalast geliebt und bin auch heute noch von seinen besonderen Shows, die Weltklasse haben, begeistert. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und ich fühlte mich bei der telefonischen Bestellung auch sehr gut beraten. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch.
