Beautiful place. Lots of benches available to sit and relax. The statue in the center of the park is big and amazing. It indicates Poseidon and 4 rivers. You can also get a great view of Berlin TV tower from here.

Great Christmas market with a lot of unique decor, warm clothes and accessories, food stands, ferris wheel and ice ring. Prices are as usually on Christmas markets a bit on the higher end. But magic atmosphere here.

This is an excellent location for a weihnachtsmarkt. The lights are well done and they've even got lights on the Neptune fountain. A temporary ice rink was placed around the fountain with the market around it and a giant ferris wheel. Santa and his sleigh come out on a cable above the crowd. And the whole area is flanked by the Marienkirche and the Rotes Rathaus.

The Christmas Market is celebrated for its festive atmosphere, offering a delightful array of seasonal delights. Visitors appreciate the diverse stalls, each adorned with unique holiday crafts and treats. The enchanting decorations and lively entertainment create a magical experience for all ages. Some suggest expanding the variety of local vendors to enhance the market's charm. Overall, the Christmas Market is a cherished destination that brings the community together during the holiday season.

A nice fountain within a lovely piazza. I believe it was placed in its current place after being removed from one of the old palaces. It is also a good landmark from where you can catch a lot of the Hop-On Hop-Off services. Around the fountain there is also the St.Mary's church, the Red Hall, and the TV tower.

Popular spot to visit in Berlin downtown. The fountain was built in 1891. It has a rich history and it contains lots of symbolism. Do you know what the four women around the Roman god Neptune symbolize? Do their names tell you the answer? Elbe, Rhine, Vistula, and Oder. Check the different elements decorationg each woman. The fountain is a beautiful piece of art and history to appreciate.

I don't really know what to say here... it is a fountain. It functions and is nice to look at. Sat and ate some food on a bench nearby, a drunk man was only slightly creepy. 10/10 cultural experience.

A fountain worthy of coming to look at it. Very beautiful historic fountain. It is located in the square, not far from the Berlin TV tower and in the middle of a very pleasant square where you can take a walk or sit to rest from walking around the center of the city.

The Neptunbrunnen is named for the Roman god of the Oceans, Neptune. The god forms the centrepiece of the fountain sitting on a giant clam shell and depicted in all his might as he is escorted from the seas by creatures of the seas, both real and mythical. Around Neptune are sea creatures announcing the arrival of the god of the sea by spraying water from their mouths towards the centre of the fountain. Around the fountain are four female personifications of the four great rivers of the then Prussia, the Elbe, the Rhine, the Vistula, and the Oder. The fountain is truly magnificent to behold and worth seeing as it’s within the main tourist circuit.

(Translated by Google) The Fountain of Neptune (Neptunenbrunnen), the Roman god of the sea is very beautiful. In addition to Neptune, the four main rivers of Prussia are represented: Rhine, Elbe, Vistula and Odir, in the figure of four women. Prussia was the name of Germany at the time of the construction of the fountain. It is on Alexanderplatz.

Truly magnificent fountain! It's so big and beautiful, plus it's impossible to visit Berlin without seeing this landmark! It is located on the main square of the city- Alexanderplatz. And there's so much to see around it- the TV tower, Gendarmen Markt and the Museum Island. Definitely recommend visiting this place!

Welcome to Alexanderplatz! It’s a good place to sit, chill and look at people passing by. Nothing special, to be honest but the tower can play a good role of milestone from almost anywhere in Berlin. Enjoy!

The pretty fountain is there for everyone to see without paying any money. You can take cool pictures with the TV tower in the background- both the old one and the new one. If you go in the morning, there aren't many people in the square. Be sure to look at every figure by going around the whole thing. This is really beautiful.

İts one of the most popular squares of Berlin with plenty main attractions near by including an Amazing Christmas Market during the Christmas period. The market was fantastic which we visited twice.. The Food was great with plenty options for everyone.. The Music was nice, it was crowded but the area was quite big. there was an ice ring in the middle and a big wheel to see Berlin from above.. transportation was very easy as it was walking distance from Alexander platz as well as trams and busses near by..

(Translated by Google) The location, the look, the whole environment - this place is absolutely worth a visit. Who wants to can deal with the intense history of the two protagonists and the square, who does not want to just take a photo and / or enjoy the feeling of seeing a remnant of an almost past era. Despite its homage to Neptune and the beautiful craftsmanship, the true reason for my visit was the wonderful ice-skating rink that circles the fountain during the Christmas market. The wait is a little longer than hoped for, but the experience is great in Berlin. The tv-tower looming overhead and the spirit of the market make it an excellent city experience if you're here during the holidays.
