Amazing! The grounds are beautiful, there are several gardens and walking paths to walk through. Both palaces are worth seeing. I was there in winter and can only imagine how beautiful it is in the spring and summer.

It was a tour where we wandered behind the group, listening to something from the device (in English) in your hand, without understanding anything. The whole trip was only narrated in German. They laughed and had fun among themselves. If there will be such a trip, why is the trip organized by dividing into groups? The reason I give a one star is because it’s hard to visit and get along. Maybe an update can be made by taking examples from different museums in Berlin.

It's a magestic place to visit but one must dare to walk all along because it is a vast palace with huge gardens and paths. It takes hours to complete whole architectural icon. It has a wonderfully managed gardens, canals, fountains with beautiful flora and fauna.

I completely loved the palace. I didn’t get in but I don’t think you can do that right now. The palace is really big and the views are amazing! The land where it is placed is enormous and there’s lots of benches so if you want to sit down after walking around the park I think it’s a good idea for you to do it 😅

It is worth finding out in advance when the guided tours are and which ones you can join. We arrived in good time and only had to wait 15 minutes for the next one. The building is amazing, with an audio guide to guide you in. Where this was lacking, our guide made up for it verbally. The only problem is that you can only be escorted in by a guide, and the pace of the passage is controlled.

Very pretty Palace, lovely halls, best park. I was disapointed by that there was open for visitors just little part of this Palace. Audioguide is good, and I know that there was a tunel from Palace to other building but I wasn't able to see this like other places.

Highly recommended to go here and do the tour. It’s beautiful and very unique. You can buy a ticket from the information office and cafe at the entrance on the day. Then join the tour, it goes about an hour.

Outstanding experience in the New Palace. The rooms are really different from one another, and every single one is unique. The seashell inspired room is definitely my favorite! Must see if you buy the Sanssouci+ ticket

It has guided tour of 12€. It was decent overall! There not that much rush even it was sunday. There is audio guide in english and german. The guide sometime gives information in english when required.

Beautiful palace with more than 200 rooms (each one uniquely different from the other). You can buy tickets (€12 each) in the Sanssouci park cafe where you can eat a snack or drink coffee if you want. The palace is amazing and they have audio guide for non-german speakers (it’s a good audio guide, nonetheless, the German guide gives a lot more details and interesting facts). 🏰

Beautiful Palace... finally found one that rivals Catherine The Greats for size and decadence. Definitely worth a visit . Got the ticket that included all the palaces and extras for 22 € per person .. bargain . Book online or get there early .. they do sell out . Potsdam itself is stunning too

There are some good rooms but the tour lasts nearly 2 hours and it's really not all that. Practically passed out by the end.

Went on a weekday and managed to book onto the next grand tour no problem, only a 20min wait. The tour takes about an hour, and there is an English audio guide. The palace has some incredible decor and the tour format made it feel quite special compared to other buildings which are open entry. Definitely worth your time!

Incredibly beautiful and large palace! Audio guide is great as well, and combo tickets to other sites in the area are available for a very reasonable price.

This castle exterior is very nice and interior is well preserved. They do not let guest anyhow step area outside of carpet inside the castle. It has timing to enter so better select your slot wisely. But the downside of this castle, you will be exploring the castle with the staff(compulsory) and it is a very time consuming.

Really very big and Impressive palace that is a part of Sanssouci complex. Unfortunately only small part is visitable. The table near the palace says that the tickets are accessible inside, which is not true and you need to return to ticket office (about 200-250 m far)

Disappointed by the organisation here... you need to take a separate ticket (for free) sold at another building 5min from there. There is a slot every 30min, if you missed it or already full, you need to wait for the next one. We stayed in front of the door a while before somebody came to explain us (nothing was written anywhere). Once you manage to enter, it is a visit room by room with a guide. If you don't speak German, they give you an audioguide that you need to listen on top of the voice of the guide. Visit lasts 1h as its quite long to go from room to room all together as a big group. Could be better organised. Otherwise, the inside is nice, especially the big room covered in shells.

Very beautiful castle, the first room, which is entirely made of shells, is unique and absolutely beautiful. Thank you to the young guide today, who explained everything in English, it was Way more interesting than listening to the audio guide. However the ticket office and entrance are not in the same building which is extremely confusing and we need to walk some time between both so it's annoying

Frederick II of Hohenzollern nicknamed Frederick the Great after having "Schloss Sanssouci" built in 1745 as his residence of modest dimensions had this palace built in 1769 to lodge and impress guests with its magnificence. The park of "Sanssouci" is vast if you intend to visit even the minor attractions it is necessary almost a whole day.

One of my favourite places to visit in Potsdam. Many old, magnificent buildings one after the other. You definitely need minimum half a day here.

Very interesting and full of stories. Enjoyed the time spent there. The whole area is wonderful and absolutely worth a visit

Weh beautiful palace with large gardens. This was built around 250 years back by a king to show his reception wealth to royals. It has more than 200 rooms. This is unesco word heritage site. There is no ticket to roam around and to see palace from outside. It is very near to sanssouci park.

Worths as much as the old palace in the same place. Magical architecture and beauty combined. After visiting the old palace and the garden, you have to follow the path and pay a visit in this beautiful cite. Bus station is close in the exit, in front of the university.

The place is nice, the architecture is amazing, the garden is very nice to walk to. I have been there on winter and on spring. Spring is better! :)

What a cool park! It was free to walk around and the castle was pretty remarkable. Given it is coronavirus times, I assume there were less options for food and drinks, but it was still nice. Clean washrooms nearby and plenty of open space for safe social distancing.

Really beautiful castle from outside and inside. Beware of the need to make an entrance reservation since you can only get in at a specific time due to the guided tour schedule. It is also interesting to visit the other places, gardens and parka located in the surroundings

A fantastic place for history and architecture lovers. We were really fascinated by the size and amount of details within the new Palais. Bring some good shoes to walk the distances. Some 6 or 7 rooms can be seen within the tour (19€ for new Palais and Sans Souci) The audio guide is very old. Somehow stuck in the 90’s. The rooms and the buildings are worth the money, but the staff and the information fall short. You have to book a time slot. But don’t be 1 Minute to early at the entrance. The staff will sent you away. Inside the building every step of you will be watched carefully. This destroys the experience a lot. I would have loved if they would invest in a more modern experience.

Really beautiful! There is a reason why you can find this place in every sightseeing guide of Berlin/ Potsdam. The buildings and architecture are quite special and unique. Beside that there is a wonderful garden which is huge. Great place to take photos.

The guide here was so wonderful! She led us through the many rooms and was helpful, attentive, and always provided a new interesting fact about the history of the palace. It was a pleasure to visit! 10/10 Would come back just to hang out with our guide some more.

This is a much overlooked building in Sansoucci, which is unfortunate because it's one of the most impressive buildings. The columns, buildings and staircases are perfect and great examples of architecture style that isn't replicated today. The statues are life-like, and entertaining to see. It's easy to see that the artists had a rich fantasy and sense of humor.
