This hotel is a great value for the money. It’s clean with large rooms and suites. Some people seem to be comparing it to luxury hotels like the Adlon in reviews, but that’s just wrong. The rooms there cost 4-5 times as much. The location of the Hollywood Hotel is perfect, staff is friendly, and they do not nickel & dime people. There was a refrigerator in our suite and a bottle of water was complimentary. No minibar scam, which is highly appreciated. If you arrive by car - it’s parking hell on the street! The grocery store down the street lets hotel guests park for 18 Euros per 24 hrs.

We has a great stay here! Front desk was friendly and fast. Elevators were functioning, no long waiting. Our room was clean, well sized, stocked and comfortable. All common spaces were clean and quiet. Fantastic location: near-by access to multiple lines of traffic, walking distance to Tiergarten and zoo. If shopping is your thing, also lots nearby.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, nettes Personal,Service super. Frühstück sehr viel Auswahl, wo für jeden etwas dabei ist. Anbindung an Bus und U-Bahn gleich vor Ort. Was sehr wichtig und super ist, weil man überall hin kommt, wo man hin möchte. Einfach fantastisch. Kann man nur empfehlen. Es war hier sehr schön.

Best hotel to stay in Berlin without doubt. Service and manager Mr Ahmed are very helpful and friendly. The room is quiet big and comfortable. The decorations are amazing. Definitely I will stay there again

This hotel has a lot to offer, but what's on top of the list is the location: walking distance from the Savignyplatz S-Bahn and Uhlandstrasse U-Bahn stations, plus it's right on the calmer end of Ku'Damm. We had a spacious, quiet room with really comfortable beds, so a good night's sleep was assured after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly, although we couldn't talk to anyone at breakfast about food allergens due to them running around busily (for obvious reasons). Luckily there were Rewe, Edeka, Lidl supermarkets close by, so I could buy myself gluten free bread and pick some cold cuts, eggs, vegetables from the buffet.

Loved the rooms - definitely bigger than most of those offered by other hotels around. Breakfast really amazing and this is not just a catch phrase - they really offer anything you might want to eat. We loved the smoked salmon (not offered by 90% of this price range hotels) and all kinds of fresh and pickeled veggies, freshly made juice that you can press right there yourself from fresh pineapples, carrots, selery and apples - just amazing! They also offer anything else that is usually considered continental breakfast, all the sweet stuff + honey from honeycomb! Again, for this price range suberb service - everything tastes fresh and delicious! Extra wishes/orders were fulfilled immediately. When we extended our stay and had to swap hotels because that one did not have a room, we came there for breakfast - so much better and real value for money.

All you need - simple, good, comfortable, plus fhe breakfast is outstanding! Nice area to chill after long day of wandering around the city.

I really enjoyed having a few beers here and people watching. While this is not a very busy place, and I picked it for that purpose of not being so close to others during the pandemic, it provided a nice place to get a beer and chill out... with free wifi! Can't complain about that. The beers were 5.5 euros and the service was good.

Great location very handy for the S trains all the way to the airport. Breakfast buffet was great, large selection of hot and cold dishes and a pancake machine. Hotel restaurant for food also has a great selection. There is a Lidl store round the corner if you need any groceries. Very handy.

We have a good stay in this hotel..but when we are about to leave for check out, the elevator we were into, fell down uncontrobably.. we are inside with our 3 yrs old child.. Thanks God we are almost arrive in the ground floor when it happened and we have to wait for technicians to arrived to get unstuck for 30minutes... because of this we missed our train to our next destination and the man in reception wasnt even apologetic and and even told us that it wasnt their problem if we missed our train amd doenst even offer us anything.. so we have extra charge for taxi and train and we have to wait 4 hours in central station with our child for a new train ....

Beautiful and one of a kind concept of the hotel. But more things need to improved on especially in the Front office Department. It's a great location of city center - for shopping, restaurants and clubs! I love how clean and organized the room was. We stayed there for 6nights! But it would be better if the housekeeping will replenish the things in the toilet everyday, like vanity kit and showering cap. They only replenish once. For the service wise, I'm not really happy with the Service in the Front Desk. Me and My husband celebrated our 3rd wedding monthsarry. My request has not been done. I requested for a flowers for my husband prior to our arrival but when we checked-in to our room, flower has not been delivered. I was hoping during our stay for a flowers but sadly wasn't done. The day we arrived in the hotel was quite early. We've been told to come back at 3pm for a regular checked-in. We came back in the hotel around 15:30, queued up for checked-in but we were waited for an hour. Is that really the process of checkin-in ? I'm not sure if they are lack of staff or the system was having a bad connection coz there was no information has been announced. But checking in was way too long! And we both tired from travelling. We would greatly appreciate if people in the front desk would advise for any delay might have caused, but there wasn't. People working in the front desk don't smile too. They look tense and so serious! Quite difficult to approached. Hope that someday, other guests would not experience this.

The hotel 🏨 is good all the rooms is very large its looks like to be in the apartment 😀 and in every room you have a different scenario of a famous movie 🎬 I had casa Blanca I like it 👌

SERVICE: was excellent top to bottom. everyone was nice--reception, housekeeping, servers, bartender, and esp. the breakfast staff. The cook even made me pancakes when the pancake machine ran out of dough! GOOD LOCATION: 2 mins to subway: buses just outside that go to Zoo station and it is also n easy 10 min walk to Zoo station and about two blocks to S Bahn at Sauvigny Platz. RESTAURANT AND BAR. both good. also can sit outside on the Ku'damm itself--very cool! BREAKFAST. i highly recommend the breakfast. It is really good and we ate so much we did not need lunch- ATMOSPHERE: It is NOT corporate! Plus it has an interesting theme that movie buffs or families can enjoy. The owners clearly care about this hotel. The owners love the cinema /Hollywood spent a great deal of love, time, and money in very thought-out film-based decorations such as real historic movie cameras and staged vignettse, hundreds of framed movie posters, and pictures of movie stars. All the details were really thought out right down to the Casablanca-themed napkins in the breakfast room. But I never felt overwhelmed by the decor. if you are into film you will love it. if you are not, it will not be distracting.

Ich kann nichts über die Zimmer sagen, da ich zu einem Seminar dort war! Dennoch fand ich das Mittagessen ganz gut. Die Zwischenmahlzeiten die es vom Hotel für uns gab waren super😊 Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es ist sehr sauber in dem Hotel.

Das Zimmer kann ich nicht bewerten da ich nur die Seminarräume genutzt habe. Das Personal war freundlich und immer hinterher, das Hotel an sich hat auch einen schönen Charme, es befinden sich überall Filmplakate an den Wänden und Film Zubehör in den Fluren. Mir persönlich gefällt das auch da man an Filme erinnert wird die Mann schon ewig nicht gesehen hat

Such a good hotel,I visited here again after 10 years from the last visit. Otherwise good hotel and definitely exeeded my expectations. Small improvement are new elevators becuase the current elevators are slow and over 10-years old.

I had a somewhat weird experience on Hollywood Hotel. Although they have a restaurant in the hotel, they don't provide any service to lend/rent for a fee knives and forks - which is fine I guess. The carpet was kind of smelly but the room was OK. The main issue was when I requested (and payed) for late checkout. At the (normal) checkout time, they came knocking on the room not once, but twice saying we were already late for the checkout and we should get out of the room. Luckily the second time it was the same guy at the desk who booked/charged our late checkout, but nevertheless not a very pleasant experience to be told to leave twice when we payed for the extra hours to rest a little bit more.

Probably the best hotel in Berlin for medium amount of money I think it's one of the best hotels that I ve been to ( and I travel a lot ) Proficient and friendly staff, 5 star breakfasts, great rooms - almost all ( I think ) face silent streets Definitely worth your money

I would say the only thing that I liked there was the breakfast which was very diverse. Parking was terrible, room, too even though we had junior Suite with Balcony. The furniture was old and didn't work very well. Disappointed!

The new rooms are great, very clean and cozy. Breakfast was also very good.

An ideally positioned hotel, the rooms are decent if not a little dated, and there were a few issues with WiFi, thermostat etc not quite meeting expectations. Staff were helpful though, and it's otherwise a good base camp for a short stay in Berlin.

Great staff, very clran rooms, comfortable beds with a pillow menu! Great for shopping, and some fab restaurants, a short walk to metro & a 15 min ride to all the tourist spots. If using train to the airport be mindful that it takes an hr. A taxi is probably a better bet! Great novelty hotel.

Air conditioner either icecold or sauna, otherwise room is clean and towels changed everyday. Service was not standardized - either lovely or hostile. One hostile and angry reception person during the night between June 25th and 26th ruined the pleasure of the visit that other staff members had been creating for four days. Especially breakfast service was lovely. Location was perfect! Easy to enter from airport (S-train) and the metro is appr. 100 m away. Decorations and atmosphere of the hotel was beautiful. Special thanks for the machines - the juice and pancake-machine made my day but the elevator was as mysterious, better use the stairs.

This is my second visit to your amazing hotel.... and I recommend it to everyone that mentions visiting Berlin (I should be on commission!!!)

It's like a museum! It's a hotel, but feels like a dive into the film industry. Comfortable room (with slightly old-fashioned furniture, which is part of the hotel's personality), friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast. I loved it and would recommend it!

I liked the spirit there and reception was awesome. I had the Junior suit and it was worse it. Staff forget to refill coffee, whitener and sugar twice and forgot to clean the coffee area. All else was perfect.

Im Info Ordner gab es schriftliche Info, u.a. die Restaurant Capone Speisekarte. Die Sprachen waren schlecht gewählt, d.h. statt auf russisch sollte die Karte unbedingt auf französisch sein.

The Good: The Hotel is located 5-7minutes from Savignyplatz SBahn and UBahn The room was decent size, clean and with all the expected amenities. They have a good Italian restaurant and bar in the hotel. The Bad: The staff at the reception need alot more training on how to deal with guests.. especially International guests who dont speak german.. Upon checking in the lady at the reception got very impatient when I asked her if my room was facing the street which is not noisy.. which I had requested during booking.. she immediately became defensive and told me rudely that she will give what is available.. After 2 days when I met another Receptionist and she was much louder and borderline rude when I requested for her to check with her superior if there is a room for me to extend for 1 more night The only saving grace was a gentleman (from Moroccan background) who stepped in couple of times to diffuse the situation.. He surely is an asset for the hotel..

One of the best 4 star hotels in Berlin. Receptioners are friendly, Rooms are tidy, cozy, and well equiped with essential stuff. It has wide variety of foods for breakfast-buffet. The gym and Sauna are free of charge. Each room has its private mini bar which is useful for welcoming your private guest in your room. AND, there is a feedback form on your room, that you can write your feedback about services, facilities, and all subjects related to your stay in the hotel. I barely see the feedback form in 4 star hotels which is important for me

The room is spacious, full of light, very clean and staff generally are friendly, we are giving two star for the family with young kids (1-5). The building from outside looks like concrete, however inside the sounds proof is probably not the best. Most of the guests here are senior people, I do understand they are much more sensitive to sounds. On day 1 we didn’t notice the thin walls and floors, we received complaint and they asked us to take our kids out - We took the rude feedback seriously and do not want to disturb neighbors, however on day 3 when entire family are sleeping for 40 min already, at 21:45 reception calls us complaining about our noise. In fact this phone call woke up every one in the room!! Maybe we are unfortunate about this neighbor who hears sounds that does not exist, but if you are traveling with young kids please bear in mind majority of the guests here are not all tolerant about your family, just make sure you choose a more child friendly hotel.

Hotel reception very active, a fridge equipped with drinks in each room and a tea and coffee cabinet also, a wonderful chef at the restaurant the dinner was great, unfortunately I never tried the breakfast but overall good

We stayed for Easter break. The deluxe room was newly renovated. Very clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Hotel is well connected to public transport and child friendly. Would stay here again.

Well located, good size rooms which are well equipped and maintained. Breakfast was very good. Overall a very good choice. I would have given it 5 stars but receptionist on arrival made the worst impression on us and bar was below standards compared to the rest of the hotel.

I booked a parking spot in the garage and they charged me EUR 19/ night for a spot at check in. When I wanted to park my car last night, I saw that all parking spots were taken! Explained the situation to the receptionist and asked him for help. He said he couldn't do anything, the person I needed to speak was his manager but, unfortunately, he was not available. Honestly, the whole situation and especially the interaction with the receptionist was quite unpleasant. Anyways, be prepared for the worst in case you travel to Berlin by car and plan on staying at this hotel.

Nice location and welcoming staff. The room are also very quiet and comfortable but the design is a bit outdated. The breakfast is tasty.

City location not far from the Tiergarten. Themed on film stars. Rooms fine, parking limited in garage but on street overnight parking is ok before 08:00.

Positive things: The beds were comfy and I slept well. The location is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Negative things: I had some cleanliness issues on the bed sheets but generally the room was clean. It was a bit on the noisy side so I could hear the cars passing by on the street. However I slept well because of extreme tiredness. The furniture is a bit old. I came here after staying in another hotel which was cheaper and better located

Fantastic hotel , nice decorated and Wonderful situated. Each floor is arranged in the atmosphere of the cinema of different eras. Very good value for money. Extremely clean hotel. Right next to there is a great Italian restaurant Capone with good food.

Had an absolutely amazing time and would highly recommend. First time in Berlin and the staff made me feel very welcome and went over and above to ensure I felt comfortable and welcome during my stay. The reception staff were amazing 😊 The decor is awesome and there is so much random movie memorabilia all over the hotel. Breakfast was great with a good selection of foods. Gym and spa on top floor. Didn't use the spa(I meant to but ran out of time) but the gym has enough equipment to work off some of the awesome breakfast food. The location is great, close to all transport and many restaurants, supermarket, train to the airport S9. The rooms are somehow modern, everything was clean. The breakfast is very good and has a big variety. Water in the room 3,5€ is a bit too much. Hotels with 4-5* should give water for free even, this is the only minus.
