No complaints in relation to the reception staff as they were helpful and friendly but the company leaves a lot to be desired. They are very stingey. The rooms have no kettles and they sell COVID kits for 15€ which includes 1 mask, 1 hand sanitizer and 1 test. Cowboys! During my stay the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night which was a massive disturbance. I asked for a free late check out as a result of this and the manager offered a measly 5 euro discount. Never again. I hope this company looks after their staff well because the way they treat their customers is atrocious.

I was here in August and I think they deleted my review. This was truly my worst hotel experience. They literally make you share a bed with a stranger and sell that as hostel beds!! I was so stressed I couldn't sleep most of the night and I had an early flight. Their "hostel" rooms are just regular tiny hotel rooms with FOUR beds crammed in. Some guy was mumbling and farting in his sleep for the entire night. The rooms don't even offer basic commodities and it wasn't cheap.

Nice hostel, nice breakfast. Far from city center. Some staff were lovely, some staff were awful. We had the bad luck to deal with a couple of rude receptionists at night, they did not understand English very well. They made us pay 500 euros extra for a reservation we did not make, when my reservation was already paid in advance on-line. The receptionists told us that we had to pay for that extra room, and that we would need to solve the issue with the manager on the next day. At the end the money was reimbursed to us. It ended up being a problem in their system which made 2 reservations in my name. Also, it would be good to teach some manners to the reception staff. I know it's not a 5 stars hotel, but being kind doesn't cost a thing.

Location great, tram 2 minute walk from the hotel, Aldi next door ( a grocery store), I could hear people in the next room what’s a big minus for an airport hotel considering fact that we had to be up at 3 am, kids were running up and down screaming and jumping, parents talking loud and we could hear all of the commotion) ... we had to ring the reception and complain, thankfully the issue was resolved fast. Rooms very hot I don’t know if it’s good complaint or bad. Windows don’t open can’t let any fresh air in, the A/C didn’t seem to generate any cool air. Can’t comment on the food as we had none. Receptionists very pleasant and helpful. Overall good hotel and great location for travels.

Very close to airport and good connectivity throughout day. Good for short stays. However locating hotel from station can be a challenge especially in night when the station is deserted. Did not eat there but staff was friendly with smooth check in and checkout. TV was not working although I did not ask for help

It is unacceptable in the 21st century for a hotel room to haven't a mini fridge. However, this hotel is recommended for one night stay only. The breakfast is not included in the price, you have to pay 10.90 per day.

Great place for few days visiting the city. Good value for money, good service, good prices, close to the train station and to the airport. Recommended.

The layout of the room is a bit strange, since it's not the typical bunk beds style. There are two beds side by side and the bunk beds didn't have curtains for privacy. Huge bathroom Very practical location wise, as there are trains running 24/7 to the airport (my flight was at 6 am) I had a very enjoyable stay nonetheless.

Check-in was atrocious. Their system was down when we arrived and had to wait. Once up, it took ages for each customer to be helped. We asked for a crib in the room but it wasn't there, so I immediately went back downstairs and waited another 30 minutes for help. The lady at the desk watched another party step in front of me and still helped them...i interrupted and the gentleman behind the counter took care of me. Arrived at 6pm, checked in at 7:10, got a crib at 7:40. The gentleman behind the counter was very apologetic despite the check-in situation. Room was nice and affordable - we always stay here when flying out of BER and will continue to.

Very nice and friendly staff, 24/7 service at the reception where you could grab a drink, a coffee or a snack. They also had an outside terrace next to the parking lot. Everything was spotless clean, and the hotel was very quiet.

It was my first trip to Berlin and I find myself extremely fortunate to have come across this lovely hotel while I was searching for accommodation online. Just 5 to 9 min away from the Berlin Airport, the hotel is in a prime location. Just next to the hotel you have an ATM, an ALDI Nord supermarket, and the Grunbergalle railway station (4 min walk from the hotel). And to top that off, the hotel let's you order food from outside. I mean, what else can you ask for?! Fabulous buffet breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and clean rooms. I just can't wait to go back to Berlin and book another stay here. 10 🌟 through and through!

Really enjoyed our stay in this groovy hotel. Room was clean & warm. We booked last-minute - during a road trip and we were not disappointed. The local ALDI is a 1 minute walk away from the front entrance. Parking is €8, which is great compared to some others we found. Very helpful and happy staff at the hotel.

The condition of the hotel and my room matched my expectations. The room and bathroom was tiny but clean. Everything was fine for my overnight stay there. The breakfast buffet was very good. The location is close to the airport. Nevertheless, the room was absolutely silent.

Nettes Hotel/Hostel. Ich war nur 1 Nacht in einem Eintelzimmer. Ich brauchte kein Frühstück. Zimmer aber sauber und funktionell. Das Bad hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen aber trotzdem sauber. Das Hotel ist direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Mein Zimmer lag zur Straßenseite. Mit geschlossenem Fenster hat man sogut wie nichts gehört. Aber bei geöffnetem Fenster war es schon sehr laut. Vom Gesamteindruck war es dem Preis entsprechend und somit war ich auch zufrieden.

This a perfect hotel to spend a couple of nights before your next flight. Just about 30 minutes from the Airport on a public transport. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I recommend this hotel.

Das Zimmer war sauber. Die Betten sind bequem. Obwohl das Hotel an einer Hauptstrasse liegt konnten wir gut schlafen. Die Fenster sind dicht und halten den Lärm draußen. Frühstücksbuffet war super. Riesen Auswahl. Die Hotelangestellten sind alle sehr freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

We were again in a hotel for 1 night. It’s good enough and they serve tasty breakfast. Just 5 minutes walk to S-bahn station with connection to the airport (20ish minutes) and city centre as well (40ish minutes). Thank you and see you soon.

What a hotel. I was there 12 nights i was working at the airport. Staff so friendly. Room so clean . Every day clean ( and on weekends) what i seen what was really nice in the hotel lobby is a full functional kitchen. You can cook your food or in microwave id your on a budget holiday. I have never seen this .the is a aldi 50 m from hotel so it really is cool . Respect to the hotel all was perfect. And yes i had breakfast every day loved the pancake machine 😋 😍 ☺️ forget to say s bann is 5 min walk 🚶‍♂️ 😀

I was able to work from my hotel room (main reason I had to stay near the airport for one night) with good wifi connection and a supermarket next door to buy whatever I needed. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Special shoutout to Antonio for being nice and helpful!

Nice, clean hotel located two stops by Sbahn from Berlin airport. To go to city centre is easy by Sbahn and it takes about 35 minutes to Alexanderplatz. Breakfast is fair for the price.

Room was quite clean n service was fine. Fine pricing. Saw tiny white insect on desk on the first day but i have wiped out it anyways. But on 3rd night I found this bigger insect in toilet. Lil disgusted

Cool ambience, nice service, good wifi speed and full breakfast! Location is also very close to the airport. They don't have airport shuttle but they can arrange taxi which arrives almost in 5 mints!

Great hotel! Very clean and close to the airport. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Everything was very modern. The train station (Grünbergallee) is just a few minutes walk from the hotel, and the airport is just a few stops (~10 min) away. I’m very happy to have chosen to stay here!

Easy check-in, clean and lovely room. 5-10min walk to train station. 5 if you don't have a heavy suitcase. Train to airport 10mins and cheap. Price was OK. Staff is friendly. We would recommend.

We booked this hotel based on its proximity to the airport and an aldi. Unfortunately all aldi stores are closed it would seem on Sundays so we had no choice but to buy the hotel pizza for dinner. It was fine just more than we wanted to spend. The breakfast buffet was very good. The left luggage facility also good but the luggage room was about 40 degrees. The aircon in the hotel seemed non existent on the ground floor and poor in the hotel room. The staff were helpful and kept our medicine safe and freezer bags frozen.

The hotel was okay, but they vastly need to improve their cleanliness of the hotel. There were crumbs in the corners of the room, the garbage can was filthy, the washrooms had some kind of brown liquid spayed all over the roof, soap scum on the shower tiles and the shower drain didn’t drain. This left water all over the bathroom and was very slippery. The beds were hard as a rock. We did not get a good sleep. The tv was smaller than our laptop.

The hotel itself is pretty standard, but the staff were helpful when I needed fresh air (aircon doesn't suit me) and at other times, so most of the points for them.

Everything was ok. Breakfast is rather basic but fine. Rooms are clean. There is rather nothing around the area, but it is very close to the airport. Supermarket is in the same building.

A good hotel, clean, with friendly staff. A nice buffet breakfast. The guest kitchen is a great idea if you want to use that service. Close (6 minute walk) to a train/metro station with direct access to BER airport terminals. An Aldi supermarket next door.

For a quick overnight stay nearish the airport it's well worth it. Comfortable and clean rooms, excellent customer service. Air Conditioning, next to a grocery store, a liquor store and a cigar shop. Super friendly staff.

This was our 3rd time staying at the Meininger Hotel Berlin Airport. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious, the staff is friendly and the hotel is conveniently located (2 mins by train to Schönefeld Airport T5, 11 mins by train to BER Airport T1 & T2 and ca. 40 mins by train to the city). It also has a supermarket (Aldi) adjacent to it which provides everything you need (food, drink, toiletries, etc) for a great stay.

I needed something close to the airport and public transportation so I could make an early morning flight. This location was perfect for those needs and was at a great rate even though my reservation was last minute.

We stayed in many basic hotels and we don't mind basic furniture as long as it is clean and quiet. This hotel unfortunately is neither. We booked a room for 4 with bunk beds, which is great, especially for kids. The room came with a full bathroom and a half bath. The half bath came with hand soap but no towel ( no real place to hang one up) The full bath had no hand soap but towels. The main bathroom had a terrible urine smell and the grout in the shower was covered in pink and black mold. But the worst was the noise. All night long we kept hearing noise from all different sides. It was the worst night we had at any kind of hotel.

Staffs were nice but I found a lot of hair on the bed. I never had anything that disgusting in my life. This was suppose to be a clean bed and the internet was down the whole day. Never ever

Haven't expected such a poor service at the reception, considering that I've booked a room and payed for it 3 weeks before arriving. So all I needed was a key. But the employees were sooooo slow during the check-in! There was a line with two persons in front of me. Well, I didn't mind waiting for about 10 minutes. But it was actually 10 min PRO PERSON! I've been standing for at least half an hour with my PRE-PAID(!) booking number. And in the end the employee was so incompetent that he couldn't use the booking number for a quicker check-in. He had to search for my name in the system instead and even wasn't able to type it in after I spelled it, so I had to write it down on a paper piece for him! That was the worst check-in in my life! Oh, and also the toilet in my room stank like a public WC. What an exceptional way to treat a customer!

The room came with a sofa, desk, cabinet, and desk light, which is very suitable for remote work. The street nearby was quiet, while is was actually near a supermarket, so it was also very convenient. The location was close to airport, so it's a good choice for a early-morning flight.

The room is very standard for the price you pay, but what really shocked me were two things: they gave my room to another guest who claimed to check in with my name before I arrived. The staff at that time didn't check correctly the ID and gave the other person my room. When I arrived at 11PM, they thought I was a fraud because I was "supposed" to be already checked in. Then they gave me the key of the room I was supposed to have. Once I got there, I opened the door and the one that took my room with my ID started to yell at me. The receptionist didn't react properly and she was in a panic. She didn't know what to do or why this was happening, neither me... Then I received a call at 12h30am in my room from the receptionist while I was already sleeping for some check-up. I told her that I need to sleep because I will wake up at 5 am but she kept insisting on the check-up... My husband and I could not sleep afterward. Seriously, that was so unprofessional... I never saw this.

This is my first time experience where I stayed two times during my autumn break travel in Germany. I would highly recommend to all types of travelers to consider Menninger hotel near Berlin airport. Clean and quiet room. Pleasing interiors and kindly staff. Optimal cost too. I preferred this hotel near BER airport, as it has less than 10 mins travel with easy connectivity to airport.

An excellent stay if you have an early flight. The Uber was only a 5min ride to the airport. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Disability accessible options were nice to see.

I stayed here for around 5 days and here is my experience. The hotel is very nice. Good staff, easy checkin, nearby grocery and good connectivity to airport and city center. There is a guest kitchen which is equipped with utensils to make your own food. There is also laundry available for 5 euros. Prices are well suited for solo and group travellers. I will highly recommend this to others.

If you want to stay near the airport is good price-quality option. Other is 45 min to the Berlin central station. I like the hotel I would love to give 5, but the bathroom cleanliness was not great and the staff at the reception also could be a little bit more polite and helpful. Room cleanliness was very good.

Für die Kategorie richtig gutes Hotel. Zimmer geräumig, sauber und mit guten Betten/Matratzen ausgestattet. Personal verdient durchweg ein Extralob für die freundliche und zuvorkommende Art. Durch vor dem Hotel nachts auf dem Supermarktparkplatz wartende Lkw (Kühlaggregat lief) wurde die Nachtruhe etwas getrübt - dafür kann aber das Hotel nichts. Frühstück war o.k. und ausreichend variabel.
